RPG Digimon: The Source

David: Good. Everyone's back. (The energy barrier dissolves) Follow me. (They enter the newly opened passageway, and soon emerge in a chamber with no other entrances. On the floor are five circles. David stands on one) Everybody, stand on a circle. (The other humans stand on circles. After a few seconds, there is a brigth flash. David steps off of the circle, and the others do the same. The circles dissapear, and five small energy spheres appear where they were. Each one enters the digivice of one of the humans) It's done.

Katt: What just happened?

David: We got what we came here for.

Malsek: And what would that be?

David: I don't know. It will be revealed to us at the proper moment. (Suddenly, they are in a cave) This is where we were sent to the place where we just were. We're back in the Dark Ocean, more or less. This place connects with where we just were, and with many other worlds, but it's anchored to the Dark Ocean. (Several Phantomon enter the cave) These guys just don't give up, do they? You guys take care of them. I'm going to open a portal and get us out of here.

Katt nodded. She looked tenativley over to Malsek, then called out," Icemon, Digivolve!" "Icemon digivolve to! Freezemon!" Katt called out, "Take em down, Freezemon!" Freezemon opened its mouth, and a all formed. "Aurora Bomb!" It smacked itno two of the Phantamon.

Katt said to her partener," Okay, wanna go Mega?" Freezemon nodded, adn shouted," Freezemon Megadigivolve to- Silvericemon!" The wolf grew larger, and stood on his hind legs, in his front paws were two cannon like things. He held them up, and yelled," Okay, take down time! Aurora Beam Blaster!" It echoed, and two large, pwerful beams of light shot out of the gunbs. The flew into two more Phantamon, and Katt grinned, and gave Maslek thumbs up.

"Your turn!" She said to malsek, indicating the remaiing Phantamn with ione hand.

(David is at his laptop, working to open a portal to the digital world)

David: (Thinking) Almost got it... what the hell? (Out loud) I've run into a problem. Give me a few minutes to solve it.

Guilmon X: What's going on?

David: I don't know. Wait... yes I do. Someone's trying to divert the portal. I've got a probe in the program I use for portals.

Slade: What does that mean?

David: I'm being hacked. Don't worry about it, though. Whoever's doing this may be good, but he/she/it has never gone up against me before. There's no way he/she/it will get us to go where he/she/it wants. In fact, I think I can trace this hacker. i'll get a location, then open a portal to it. Whoever's doing this is undoubtably connected to Galfmon in some way. If I can get us to where he/she/it is, I think I can get some answers.

Slade: Can you open a portal to where this hacker is?

David: If I can get a trace, I can. And I can definately get a trace. Just make sure that the Phantomon don't get to me before I do.

Silvericemon didnt need to be told twice. He roared," Aurora Beam Blaster!" And fired a lot of beams at the enemy. Just to be sure David was okay, Katt stepped over to him, blocking any Phantamon that got through. She was a heck of a fighter. "Get- on- with it- David! I- can't- hold- uh!!!!!" She spun around on her hand, and kicked up at a Phantamon. Silvericemon and Angemon(he had didgivolved) were also fighting.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Ankokumon was patiently sitting on Angel's shoulder, who was standing in her back-to-normal attitude self. She smirked and watched as the others fought the Phantomon. While David tried to get a trace, the others fought, and Angel stood there watching it all.

It was time for Ankokumon to step in. The others were struggling. Ankokumon leaped off of Angel's shoulder and Angel spun the digivice around in her hand before Ankokumon digivolved.[/i]

"Ankokumon dark warp digivolve to................LadyKalimon." [i]A newly digimon stood before the rest.[/i]

"Who's that?" [i]Katt had asked.[/i]

"Meet LadyKalimon. The virus of Ankokumon. She has 3 attacks that are associated with different things. One is associated with teleportals, one is associated with darkness and shadows, and the last is a surprise." [i]Angel repied.[/i]

[i]LadyKalimon floated towards the Phantomon who looked to her. They backed away a little bit and looked to each other. Then suddenly, they teleported themselves and began to attack LadyKalimon.

The others were about to help LadyKalimon, but she was having no trouble.[/i][/size][/color]

David: (To himself) Scramble source... reverse probe... got it. Read location... set location... done. (Out loud) Got it. Here we go. (The humans and their Digimon partners appear in a strange area. The entire place looks like a mixture of black, blue, and purple clouds. Sitting at a computer is a man dressed entirely in black. David kicks the man's computer away) Who the hell are you?

Man: Call me Restablir.

David: I know you're part of what's been happening. Tell me what your role in all of this is.

Restablir: Why not? You'll all be dead soon enough.

Angel: Shut up and start talking.

Restablir: About fifteen years ago-for me, at least-I discovered the digital world. At the time I was a programmer, and I was one of the best. I never liked it, but it was the only way I could determine the cause of the problem. When I discovered thi digital world, I also discovered other worlds, this being one of the simpler ones. I almost immedeatly realized that time moves at a different rate in many worlds, what you call the real world being one of the slowest. I realized that coing here, where time moves at an even slower rate. The digital world moves at the same rate as the real world, by the way. Anyways, I soon figured out how to get here, where I found much of what I needed already waiting for me. I don't know how any of it got here.

David: We don't care. Please continue.

Restablir: I only needed to make a few changes to a very large program to make my plan work. You've seen it's physical form, I believe. It was the black energy sphere in the Dark Ocean. I then got to work. By using an already made program, I was able to syncronize my personal time with the digital world's time, which is also the same as the Dark Ocean's. I then used another program to imprint a conciousnous(sp?) of a limited sort into the black energy sphere. It's not part of the sphere, but is connected to it. The conciousnous is stored in the program it came from. That conciousnous did what I told it to.

David: Which was?

Restablir: Which was search the digital world for a compatable Digimon.

David: Mephistomon.

Restablir: Correct. A small amount of the sphere's energy was transferred to Mephistomon, and he adapted to it. You know the rest. Mephistomon absorbed the entire sphere and became Galfmon. Galfmon still hasn't fully adjusted to his new power. As he adjusts, he will become stronger. When you fought him, he had only adapted a very small amount. He is now... I'd have to say about four times as powerful as he was then. By the end of the process, I expect him to become around ten times as powerful as he is now. He will destroy the digital world, then emerge in the real world and destroy everything related.

Angel: Related?

Restablir: Related to the digital world. He will destroy everything that requires electricity or feul to work. He will destroy everything even remotely technological. Then he will remain and keep humans from reinventing any of what he destroys.

David: Why?

Restablir: To save the earth. Humans have all but destroyed it. We're the cause of the problem. Earth is almost gone, and I intend to save it, which I will use Galfmon to do. speaking of Galfmon, he should be here shortly to get rid of you.

Malsek: You're insane! Totally nuts! Next you'll be saying that we all live in The Matrix!

Restablir: Not yet, but I would not be surprised if such a senario occured sometime in the future. I won't let it.

Katt: You won't get away with this!

Restablir: You can't stop me. Galfmon will make sure of that. (Galfmon appears) Right on cue.

Slade: Not you again!

Galfmon: This time, there will be no escape.

David: You won't win.

Galfmon: You are no match for me. Destroying you will be simple.

David: Not if we have anything to say about it. (Everyone's digivices start to glow) Right on cue. (David, Malsek, SLade, Katt, and Angel are suddenly in some kind of armor. As is the way things like this seem to work, they immedeatly know that the armor can fly through levitation, can fire energy beams, and can energize the weapon it comes with{OOC: Choose the weapon your character's armor has. David's has two metal poles} to deliver very powerful strikes) This is new.

Galfmon: That means nothing.

David: Sorry, but you're wrong. (All the Digimon digivolve to their Mega-level forms if they aren't there already) We're not holding anything back. Everyone, let's do this.

OOC: If you're confused by any of that, just tell me and I'll try to clear up your confusion. Oh, and this battle will be a lot closer, mostly due to the manuverabillity of the armor. Galfmon still has the advantage, though. Make sure that he's winning, and remember about how he uses energy to defend himself, and that he is a lot more powerful now. And, as usual, don't end the battle.

[Dj Professor DM]

*Slade looks two his hands and he has Two Katals too represent speedy defense and power.*
Slade:"This is good but I don't think he will lose without a fight... But nor will I."
*Slade charges at Galfmon shooting beams at him and galfmon blocks them. Slade gets close enough and slashes Galfmon not doing a thing.*
Galfmon:"heh this is your best shot?"
Slade:"No this is"
*Slade then slices and dices making cuts on galfmon but gets knocked back onto his butt Slade gets back up.*
Slade:"I've had worse you oversized jack@$$."

Malsek stared at the silvery fluid of armor that was creeping over his body, as if alive.

[i]like mythril...[/i] he snapped back from his wonderment to find a nunchuka in his hand, glowing with the same silvery energy.

"I'm really glad I took those martial arts classes as a kid!" he said out loud. He whipped it around a couple of times experimentally.

[i]So light...I could get used to these![/i] He expertly flailed the weapon around in the air, snapping it under his shoulder in a ready position.

"Seraphimon! I'm going to need an opening!" Malsek yelled to his partner.

"You got it!" White energy from seven points on his body converged into one, and slammed into the energy shield surrounding Galfmon. The digimon pulled back, but his shield held.

Malsek shot forward, amazed by the litheness of the armor. It moved forward just from a thought, and he shot some more cover fire at the spot that Seraphimon attacked. The blaster's rounds shrilled out of the barrel, scorching the air around it with a dazzling orange light.

"Here we go!" he landed on the energy shield, and began to flail at the digimon, expertly whipping around in mid-air. Many of the blows bounced off of his energy shield, but a few passed through the weakened barrier, catching him off guard. He caught a glimpse of Katt's digimon firing a huge ice blast at Galfmon, but did not see Katt.

[i]I hope she's okay...[/i] He stopped for a second, but quickly resumed his assault, hoping that Galfmon would not notice him for a couple more seconds.

He was not so lucky

The energy shield expanded, blasting him back. He saw David in similar armor, brandishing two poles, flying back away from him on the opposite side.

"Why do you humans and your..pets...persist? I could wipe you out with a thought!" He spoke the word "pets" with a distinguishable disgust.

"Because we have something that is worth fighting for!" Malsek cried as he stopped his descent, and barreled back at the digimon, his nunchuka a whirlwind in his hand.

Silver armor covered Katts body in one fluid motion. In her hand formed a sword, the handle blue, with a dragons head, and the wings the hand guard. The blade was as long as both of her arms put together, and she twirled it. [I] Whoa...[/I] She had trained for a while with one of her friends in swordsmanship, and she kicked butt with it. [I] Long sword? bless you![/I]

Katt heard Malsek yell something, but to her, it was incomprehendable. Silvericemon gave her an opening, and she rushed forward, her blood pounding in her ears. She slashed down, and her blade connected with a Digimon. She jumped back, avoiding the retaliation.

She saw Malsek, and a look of relief passed briefly in her eyes. She yelled,? Your going down! Im not fighting because I want to- Im fighting because I care for the people around me!? Again she slashed in at the Digimon, again dodging his return assault

Galfmon: It doesn't matter why you fight. You can not win.

Angel: We won't give up.

Galfmon: That does not matter.

David: Yes it does. David fires multiple energy blasts at Galfmon. None of them have any effect. Galfmon fires a blast at David, who almost dodges it. It hits him in the leg, and he tumbles to the ground, but gets ack up quickly) (Thinking) We're doing better than we should be. I'll have to look at the recordings after the battle. That should tell me. But that doesn't matter untill the battle's over.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Angel looked to the armor. Glimmering dark blue armor with a silver trim. It was similar to Ankokumon's fur. With black gloves that had neko-tes that go up to her elbow, leg armor that went up to her knee, and body armor that was light and not suffocating. This was one thing that felt good on Angel. It was something she had like. She then felt along her back and unsheathed two [URL=http://www.cbswords.com/images/samurai3000katana.jpg]katanas[/URL].

Looking at the weapons in her hands, she swung them around and they whistled through the air. She then looked to Galfmon who was being bombarded by the digimon and the others. She looked to LadyKalimon.

LadyKalimon is a sorceress digimon. She wears no shoes, but she has charms around her ankles and she has streams of tiny silver ribbons braided into her hair. She also wears a silhouette blue veil, but her eyes are only seen. A tattoo and a charm of some sort are in the center of her forehead. At the base of her neck is a large tattoo that connects to the tattoos around her wrists. There are also tattoos around her ankles as well. She wears an outfit similar to that of a belly dancer's. She wears a crown that has the ears of a wolf as well as that she has the tail of one as well. There are jewels and charms embedded into the crown and at the tip of the ears are two piercings. Her clothes are dark blue with black trimmings and her hair is dark blue with high lights of light ocean blue.

Smirking, Angel sheathed her swords and became invisible. She flew towards Galfmon and reappeared at his head as she spin kicked him in the face. It did little damage, but it caught him off guard. She then unsheathed her swords and slashed at him.

When Galfmon regained focus, he threw his hand at Angel, who dodged it by a mere strike. LadyKalimon put her hands up and stopped him from attacking further for a short period. This gave Angel and the others time to attack him directly.[/size][/color][/i]

David: (Thinking) What?s going on here? I can understand us humans doing this well against him, but not the Digimon. They?ve prooven that they shouldn?t be doing this well. There?s something going on here that I don?t know about. (Suddenly, the humans{except Restablir} and their Digimon partners find themselves on a flat plain) (Out loud) What the hell?

Angel: Where are we?

David: I don?t know. (The Digimon all devolve) That?s not good.

GUilmon X: Something?s wrong. I can?t hold a digivolved form.

David: I do not like this. At least we still have our armor. (They hear something behind them and turn around. Facing each of the humans is an exact duplicate. The duplicates have weapons drawn. The origionals draw theirs) This can not be good. (The duplicates attack)

Katt gasps as a duplicate of her rushes at her, sword drawn. "HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!" Katt screamed at the top of her lungs. Malsek also faced with a duplicate. Katt slashed down to block DK's attack. "What the hell?!" Icemon jumped up to help, but was blown aside by DK's attack. Katt screamed," ICEMON!!!!!" Her eye flared, and she rushed at DK. She slashed down.

(While the others fight, David and his duplicate stand faceing each other)

David: Who are you?

Duplicate David(DDavid): We're you. Well, that's not quite true. We are exact genitic replicas of you, but our entire lives have been lived here. We have been trained for this encounter, and told that we need to kill you. We have een told that you are the duplicates. I have discovered proof that we are the duplicates, but because I couldn't explain the proof to them in a way that they could understand it, they didn't believe me. They think that by killing you, they will be taking what is theirs, but I know that we'll be stealing your lives.

David: What's your proof?

DDavid: You wouldn't understand. You're a computer person. Although I am also quite skilled with computers-we do have some here-different experiances have geneated different intrests. My intrest is genetics.

David: That explains it. To them, you must have sounded like you were speaking a different language. I know how that feels. My-well, [i]our[/i] parents are geneticists. On the rare occasions that I was around them-they aren't home much, and tend to ignore me when they are-I could never understand what they said. Anyways, do you know who told you that stuff about us?

DDavid: No. I have discovered a few things aout him, though. I'd tell you, but we have to stop the fighting first.

David: Then let's get to work.

DDavid: My group has a spot about right here (he indicates a spot on the back of his armor) that is basically... well, I'm not sure what it is, but if it's hit, the armor is temporarily deactivated, and like yours, will dissapear until called again, which can't happen until aout an hour after the forced deactivation. And no, you don't have that spot.

David: That's good to know. Let's get to work.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]The duplicate of Angel stood there. Her armor was gone. Angel thought this was a trap, but it wasn't. She could tell somehow. She called her armor off as well. DAngel and Angel got closer and looked to each other. The two were the same in a way. Angel sighed and DAngel looked into her eyes.[/i]

"So you're me, huh? Wow. Never though I'd say this, but it's good to see you." [i]Angel told her duplicate.[/i]

"I know what you mean. I have had strange dreams about meeting someone like me." [i]DAngel explained to Angel.[/i]

"I've had strange dreams too. Before I came here. I would see these people fighting, but these two boys weren't fighting and neither were you and I." [i]Angel knew exactly what DAngel was talking about.[/i]

"I know exactly what you mean. You see, my intention was to kill you and take what was rightfully mine. But, my David, the DDavid, somehow in a strange way, explained that we would be taking your lives by killing you and living the way we wanted. Come, let us go to our David." [i][/size][/color]

[RioLaskand]

Malsek gazed down at the spitting image of himself flashing towards him, nunchuka whirling around his arm. He spun his back into a familiar kata, and whipped it at his "twin"'s legs.

DMalsek deflected the blow and countered with a shot to Malsek's face. He turned, and the armor glanced the blow off of him, but not before crackling a bit.

[i]This armor better hold out. I can't take many more hits like that.[/i]

He countered with an equally glancing blow on his dark self's shoulder armor. The armor splintered, but the silvery substance did not break away.

At a glance, he saw Katt slam down on her dark self with a blisteringly fast long sword smash. He smiled.

[i]Go get her, girl...[/i] he thought to himself. DMalsek was recovering, and Malsek whipped his nunchuka under his arm, ready for the next assault.

Katt gasped as her duplicates sword caught her arm. DK froze, a look of shock on her face. She then sheathed her swrod, and helped Katt up. "Damn, ithought Iwas better at blocking than that." Dk said with a shake of her head. Katt stared in shock. She hissed as her cut started to bleed.

She clpped her ahnd over it as her armor dissolved. "Your supposed to be me, right?" Dk noded. "Pretty much." She shook her head again. "But I seriously thought I was better than that!" Katt smiled, not before gasping inpain again, and wincing."Well, you were. You got around our defenses, sotht tellsme Im best at offense then defense."

Katt saw malsek glance at her, and almost stop in shock. These two girls had been fightinga second ago, and now were talking like sisters. But then, they were the same person.

[Dj Professor DM]

DSlade:"You will perish..."
Slade:"I will stain my hands with your fake blood."
*Slade charges at the Duplicate and starts slashing the duplicate but the duplicate slade tries defending but still gets attacked barely.*
DSlade:"Man you're good.'
Slade:"That's one thing football is good for, but your defense is good..."
DSlade:"...and your offense is good."
Slade:"If you were my twin I guess we'd be better friends... So I guess we are evenly matched... better than we thought... But I will not Loose"
*Slade starts spinning slashing D.Slade more.*

(David comes up behind DSlade and hits the spot, causing the armor to dissapear. DDavid dose the same to DMalsek)

DMalsek: What are you doing?!

DDavid: Don't you understand? We're the duplicates, not them.

DSlade: I can't believe that.

DAngel: Well, I do.

DKatt: So do I.

(Several Phantomon appear)

David: Shit! He's found us already!

DDavid: Who?

David: No time to explain now. We need to get out of here.

DDavid: I know a safe location.

David: Good. Hold them off, people! (DKatt and DAngel reactivate their armor, as do the origionals. They attack the Phantomon as the two Davids work on opening a portal to a safe location)

Malsek slammed his nunchuka into the nearest Phantomon's head. His dark self finished the digimon off with a spinning hit to the chest.

"This is so weird," he told his dark self as they floated back-to-back, mirror images.

"It's kinda cool though!" DMalsek rocketted to the next digimon and twirled his nunchuka on his foot, kicking the Phantomon and letting the centripedal force rip the nunchuka throw the digimon's hood.

"Yeah! Get that guy!" Malsek cheered.

David: Location set.

DDavid: Now what?

David: We activate the portal. (The humans, their Digimon partners, and the duplicates are in a large, circular room. There's workout equipment in one area, recreational stuff in another, and a kitchen in another. There are two hallways) Where are we?

DDavid: This is where we live. everyone, make yourslves comfortble. (To David) we have some things to talk about. Follow me. (the two Davids walk down a hallway)

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=999999][i]Angel and DAngel looked to each other. DAngel stood up and motioned Angel to follow. She did so and follwed DAngel to a training area. It was filled with the equipment she had at home. She smirked and saw a holographical training area.

DAngel walked there with Angel and explained it to her.[/i]

"This Hologram allows us to set the level, speed, strength, etc to as high as we want. It allows us to be ready for anything. Would you like to try this?"

"May I? Great." [i]Angel walked into a room and grabbed a weapon. It was a 35" katana. She smirked and looked to her opponent. He looked similar to Gallantmon.[/i]

"Ready?" [i]Came a voice behind the walls. DAngel received an OK and the training began. It was intense.[/size][/color][/i]

(David and DDavid are at seperate computer consoles, bothe of which are hooked up to a large dabase, as well as a lot of varied equipment)

David: Even in this database, which shouldn't be here in the first place, I can't find anything.

DDavid: What are you looking for?

David: Some answers. Like, who told you that my group are the duplicates?

DDavid: Well, we don't know his name or what he looks like, but he told us to call him the Restorer.

David: Restorer. Restore... no. No way.

DDavid: What?

David: I've just found another piece to the puzzle. Unfortunately, I have no idea where it fits. But it elevates the importance of another piece.

DDavid: What?

David: I told you about Restablir, and about what he said. Someone or something prepared all of that for him. We need to find out who, or what. BUt more importantly, we need to know why.
