[i]This is a story of the future, not so long from now...
It has been discovered that there are mysterious people who have the capability to transform themselves into a beast figure. Experts described the ability as "Something mysterious which has been latent in their genes". They are called "xanthropes," but few people know their extraordinary potentialities.

Under such circumstances, some researchers have found that almost all of us equally have the gene in fact that could "beastorize" ourselves. A special code is contained in this gene, and this information code is called a 'trigger gene'. It is considered that only those whose trigger has been activated can transform into a xanthrope.

It was Tyron, Inc., a multinational company that first noticed these abilities while testing mechanical battle suits for combat against ground troops. Rather than expose the findings to the media and exploit their abilities for money, Tylon schemed the utilization of xanthropes' powerful capabilities for military purpose, and captured many of them as the subjects of cruel experiments. Furthermore, Tyron intended to brainwash and modify them to make them the ultimate fighting forces.

However, a brave team of xanthrope warriors uncovered their work and set about freeing those who had been captured. The company was destroyed, mostly.

However, the collapse of Tylon resulted in spreading news of the xanthropes' existence to the whole world. The xanthropes, who have such high battle capabilities now attract curious eyes of unscrupulous and frightened. Not only are they being extracted for military purposes, they can find no shelter in other places either- humans not able to transform are frightened for their lives and shun any known xanthropes.

Many xanthropes hide their capabilities, and they are obliged to live reclusively. However, some who have grown tired of their constant oppression formed the "Xanthropes' Release Battle Line" and try to improve their national power and society by force. The Release Battle Line immediately succeeds to establish their dominant region with xanthropes' battle capability. Hatred overshadows xanthropes and humans, and the deep rift arose between the two. After years of fighting, the X-RBL was disbanded and a new organisation was born in its place; the W.O.C- World of Coexistance). It strives for the purpose of mutual understanding and reconciliation between xanthropes and humans.

But now, a new threat has added to the conflict: The Beast XGC Virus.

The XGC (X-Genome Code) Virus is a supervirus formed by the genetic experiments carried out on the xanthropes by the humans in Tryon. When a xanthrope catches the XGC Virus, they become permanently trapped in their beast mode. Their fighting abilities are greatly increased- they are able to transcend their highest athletic ability and leads them to be hyper-agressive, destroying anything in their path. However, these periods of hyper-aggression take their toll on the Xanthrope's bodies- all who have contracted it have been found dead some days later, their bodies almost completely wasted away or savaged by themselves, having lost all senses of rationality.

Several attacks on the outskirts of towns where Xanthropes are known to inhabit sparked little attention- there were always skirmishes, but three months ago, a huge minotaur known as Uranus massacred 670 civilians in the centre of New York. Her body has not yet been recovered.

Immediately, the persecution of Xanthropes began again. Scientists are desperately trying to find the secrets of the XGC, both for the safety of humans and of the Xanthropes, in the hope that peace may soon be restored.

Meanwhile, the members of the W.O.C are lauching their own investigation into the incidents, as they fear it may have an even more sinister side than is first visible- a mysterious Xanthrope known as Xion is searching for a 'Tablet of the Thousand Beasts', which he says holds a connection to the XGC...[/i]

The more you can write about the character yourself, the better, and the easier it is for me to choose who to accept. You can make a character yourself, or you can be one of the pre-existing ones from the series of games. Or, to compromise, you can take a pre-existing character's image and tack an original name/personality to it. But I will only accept one of each exact person. Change it subtley if you need to, but I'd ultimately like variety in the characters.

[b]Bio:[/b] Yugo discovered his Xanthrope abilities when he was 17, after hearing of his father's mysterious death. He found out that his father was killed by the Tyron corporation, and along with the others by his side, managed to bring it down and help expose its secrets. Not surprisingly, he is still wary at any mention of Tyron, and is more than happy to destroy any last traces of it. He is now a prominent member of the W.O.C, and strives to show the world the beauty of the Xanthropes.

Yugo is determined yet conscientious- he will fight when he needs to, but not beyond excess. His ultimate dream is peace between all beings on Earth.

Yeah, it's not the best sign-up in the world, but I know I'm already in, hehe ^_^

Bio:When young,Busuzima used to dissest insects,because the question why were these cretures moving lead him to the habbit.He did not mean harm for the insects,he just wanted to know why they moved.His grandmother,his only living or careing family,saw him in his habbit,and told him that the inscet was dead.Sometime passed and his grandmother died,and lefted him lonely.When ever he tried to constitution of the creture,it died.

"But I do not want it to die....I want it keep on moving.Y-E-S, I w-a-n-t IT mo-vi-n-g, e-v-e-n if the body is dissected, even if the tentacles are torn off, even if legs are cut off, or even if its head is chopped off."

When Busuzima was an adult,he had joined the Gene Research Institute for Tylon(Tyron).Busumia had had a good friend,and rival,named Steven(Stun).That year,Busuima betrayed Steven,when he found out about Tylon's plans,and was converted into an artificial xanthrope.Busuima joined Tylon,and repeats vicious human body experiment even though he is a xanthrope.

But,when a group of righteous xanthropes brought down Tylon,he was forced to live the rest of his days in despair. Busujima soon considers the emergence of XGC to be a golden opportunity.

[COLOR=#503F86]Pretty much BR 3, although I've altered the story a little. I've tried to link in as much as I can- having the story and character information separate makes piecing everything together rather difficult, heh.

Double_B, I wouldn't mind if you could transfer the information to the post as opposed to the link, just so it's easier for everyone else to see. Assuming this gets to go ahead, if there's character interaction it's nice to have another person's information easily accessible to have decent conversation.

Another note: Post quality matters, heh. Ideally, I'd like it to be as high a standard as possible. I'm not askingyou to sit at the computer with English textbooks or anything, but it just makes it a bit nicer to read. However, I'm not going to outwardly exclude anyone unless it's really bad.[/COLOR]

Bio: Mecko was not a discovered Xanthrope until he was caught by Tyron and brain washed into doing alot of the dirty work using his hyper beast form. His power was an unusal one for he could not only change once but twice. He changed under certain circumstances from Penguin to Pheonix. It was then that Tyron pormoted him and put him under directions to oversee training the new Xanthropes. After the fall of the company he was left alone and has since then stayed as such. He trusts no one and only hunts for new prey.
