"What is it? Did that guy speak to you?" Kilo growled. Something twitched inside his arm, and without realizing it, he had held up the diary. "What the heck?!" He cocked his arm without trying, and threw it as hard as he could into the horizon. He looked at his arm in disbelief, and then looked at James.

O.O.C: Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been having computer problems.

Max was still driving down the road. "I wonder how far they are" max asked him self as he drove. "I might as well see if this thing works" max said as he opened a cover with a red button. He pushed it and the motor cycle started speading up untill the land scape around him went blurry. After a couple of minutes he came into town as he slowed down. "I'm going to have to see if that'll go any faster" max said shaking his head. The ride gave him and adrenalin rush. "I guess I should start looking around here" max said as he parked his motor cycle and got off. As he started looking around he saw the guy who was in jail walking around. "I guess they let him out earliy. I guess I should follow him" max said as he started following the guy at a safe distance.

Mira wandered through the city, her dark green eyes misty. ?Charlotte? Where are you?? Suddenly she slipped on the slightly wet concrete, and hit the ground on her butt.

She brushed off her black shorts, and slipped her fighting knife put of her boot sheath. She stared at the shiny, cold, smooth metal, and it reflected her dark green eyes. She breathed on it, and rubbed her velvet sleeve on it, cleaning it. Slidinf it back in it?s sheath, she walked out on the sidewalk, stumbling back as a guy walked past suddenly.

He saw her stumble, and spun on her, grabbing hr shirt front. She slapped him hard, her reflexes kicking in. ?Let go, creep!? He grabbed her arm, and flung her to the ground. ?Umph!? She hit the ground. Her eyes looked at him full of hatred. ?Damn you,? she muttered as he started toward her. Her leg shot out, and she swung about on her wrist, knocking him over. She got up, and took off, running back the way she had come. Her heart pounded.

Max just looked at the woman as she ran. "I wonder what was up with her. A guy tires to help some one up and he gets hit" max said to him self as he check to make sure he still had his stuff. He check to make sure he still had his ogre, brass knuckles and shot gun and found that they were still there. "Because of her I lost track of that guy. Oh well I was probaply going to lose him sooner or later" max said as he jumped. He landed on a roof top and started jumping to other buildings. "If he's after charlotte i'd better find her before he does" max thought as he continued searching.

The deary town seemed to dampen her spirits as she passed through not worrying about those who looked upon her. Many looked on while other thried their hardest to ignore her. She walked slowly throught the town wearing tighy clothes and boots with long trench coat covering it. But the weather was mild to leave the jacet off. It didn't phase her. She kept going and let the eyes continue to roam if they chose to do so.

She finally spotted a small diner and fiffled around with the money she had in her pocket. And stepped inside. Once in the diner she slipped off her jacket and sat in the table closet to the window. A waitress soon came up.

"Hey there, what can I get ya'?"

"A cup of coffee for now if you'd please, I need a few more minutes to look at the menu."

"Okay deary, I'll be right back with that coffee for you?"

"Thanks," she said and looked back over the menu as she kept her shades on. They were grey in color and the rims were back. She liked the shades and kept them on, in or outdoors. They hid her obvious deformity from many passerbyers.

"Okay here you go, one coffee."

The waitress set the cup and saucer on the table and got out her pad. "So what will it be?"

"Hamburger, mid-rare with ketchup, mayo, pickle, lettuce, tomato and onion. No fries please."

"And will that be all?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay, I'll put that right in."

The waitress was beginning to walk away when she stopped and asked,"Why are you wearing your shades inside? It's cloudy outside. There's no need for 'em."


Elektra laughed and turned to the woman.

"It's a habit, but I don't mind it, besides my eyes are real sensitive to light." At that moment, Elektra lowered her shades only a little to show their color, luckily the slits were very small and the waitress didn't get a good view of them.

"Oh, okay, but no need of taking the shades off on my account, sorry if I offended you?"

Elektra pushed the shades back up.

"No problem at all ma'am, I love telling the story, besides, there nothing wrong with innocent conversation."

The waitress turned away and put the oder in. Elektra sat at the table waitng for her food to arive and thought about her journey.
Its been a year. A year she's been looking with no answers yet. But she knew she was getting close. How close, only time could tell, but time seemed to be against her. The more she searched the more she open herself to scrutiny but hopefully it won't be for nothing.
Many of the town dwelt her pain, fear and regret. The regret of living and of taking life. Many of those she met posed and threat a threat she eliminated. And she hated it.

As she looked down at her hands she imagined the skin she has cut and seeing th blood flow down to her ams.

"HERE YO GO SWEETy, Mid rare burger."

The plate clanked on the table and Elektra snapped out of her dream.

"Thanks." She said and began to put the sandwich together.

"Can I have the chack as well ma'am?"

"Here you go I'll take that when you're ready."

Elektra quickly gathered the moeny and handed it to the waitress.

"Keep the change!"

"Thanks, and enjoy your food,"

The waitress walked away ans Elektra began to eat. She hate quickly, releasing her mind from her presnt thoughts hoping that they will soon go away.

Max was still searhing for james. "I still can't find that guy" max said as he jumped onto nother building. "When he finds charlotte some thing will probaply blow up then i'll be able to find him" max said to him self as he looked down from the building. As he looked around he saw that a vilet book leaning on a edge. He reached down and grabed it as it was about to fall off. As he looked it over he saw that it was locked. He pulled out a lock and opened it to fight that there was another lock t keep the pages closed but it seemed different from the first one. "I guess who ever owned it wanted no one to read the contents. Maybe there's some thing on the cover" max thought as he started looking at the cover. As he searched he found that there was apart of it hiding an envolope. He pulled it our and read that it was for a persion named charlotte. "Maybe it's the same one from before. I guess if I find her i'll ask" max said as he put the envelope back and put the book in a pocket. He jumped down to the road and started walking.

[Charlie Levoy]

O.C.C Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been kinda moving around alot.

Charlie turned towards Kilo in confusion.
" What was that book and why did you throw it?"
" I didn't mean to throw it Charlie. I'm going to go find it."
She watched him run off in the direction that he threw the book. She shook her head and went into the hotel.
" Can I help you miss?" asked the employee behind the desk.
" Umm yes I need a room for the night." Charlie said with a small smile.
" Ok miss that'll be fifty-six dollars and thirty-two cents."
She payed the man and he gave her a key with a number twelve on it.
" There you go miss. It's on the third floor and down on the right."
She went to the nearest elevator and pressed the number three when she got in. She went to the room and unlock the door. She set down her duffle bag, went into the bathroom to take a shower, and then layed down on the bed with the remote control.
She turned on the t.v and started flipping threw the channels until she found the news.
" We go to Carla who is with Lt. Jackson, Carla.
Carla:Thank you Veronica, I am with Lt. Jackson who is currently working on the case of the shoot out wich happened yesturday. Tell me Lt. Jackson have you any clues as to who these people are?
Lt. Jackson: Well we know that one of them already has a warrent on there head for the deaths of thousands of other people. His name is Kilo and is extreamly dangerous. Caution is advised to all those who confont him.
Carla: Well thank you for the warning Lt., but what about....."
Charlie turned off the t.v and the light . She then rolled onto her side and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Kilo combed through the grass, and finaly found the diary. His arm started to act strangely, but he controlled it with his other arm. This arm also moved on its own. He decided to carry it in his teeth.

As he walked back to the hotel, he fought for control of his arms.

When he entered the hotel, the manager gasped. The news was on, and there was a warning about Kilo flashing across the screen.

The manager pushed a button under the desk, and Kilo sensed the electrical signals. His pupils turned rapidly.

"Massacre!" He yelled, quickly unsheathing his katana, and stabbing straight through the desk, and into the man.

The man gasped for breath, and spit up blood.

Kilo woke from his trance.

"No!" He yelled, and ran upstairs, to Charelotte's room.

"Ch-Charelotte! I... I have the diary!" He yelled, crying.

"What?" She asked quietly.

The visions didn't go away as quickly as expected but still the food did help. She began to calm down a little and finished her burger. She sipped on her coffee for a few more minutes then left the dinner, thanking the waitress on the way out. She stepped into the cool night air. Thankful that night had come and removed her shades.

Her eyes adjusted to the night and she was off again. Luckily with it being so dark, people didn't pay too much attention to her now, and many didn't care. Many assumed she was a prostitue or a goth by how she dressed, but she didn't care. She was happy that she didn't have the eyes of many staring at her now.

As she went on through the town she picked up on a scent she had been trailling for a while. But it was too new, too fresh.

"This may be my lucky night."

As she kept walking a lager gentleman overheard her and answered," Yes it is, if you talking about me baby."

She turned around seeing an ugly and drunk man hitting n her.

"Um no I'm not talin about you..so if you don't mind."

"Aw come on sweety don't be like dat!"

She rolled her eyes and moved back as he reached for her.

"Okay, okay, I didn't mean to come at you like that, but I saw a fine woman by herself, I couldn't resist. At least I had to try."

"Well you tried and failed, good evening." Elektra tturned away and kept walking regaining the scent of her prey.

Charlotte continued with her swaying in rythym(Sp? I am so tired, I apologize for all of my spelling) with Jackel's thrusting. Jackel decided that Charlotte was loose enough to take on his control. He ran his hands on her stomach and gently pushed Charlotte onto her back.

Jackel moved up onto her and ran his hands along the curves of Charlottes thighs and hips. He continued to pump, burrying his face into Charlotte's neck and hair. He gently sucked and licked her soft skin.

James calmly walked down the street, blending in like a normal pedestrian. He watched amused as people ran around frantically from one place to the next. One kept jumping from building tops, like a deranged chimp in James's opinion. He calmly walked down the street and sat on a bench next to a man reading the newspaper. "You were to kill them. Anybody associated with Charlotte. That was our deal." The man said.
"I didn't like our deal. I decided to make a new one." The man sighed and flicked through the pages. "Why do you think I put the control circut in your arm?"
"I like the attatchment, along with the other one. And I think you put the control circut in so you could watch Kilo throw the object of Charlotte's desire into the horizon."
"Whcih reminds me, he just came running back with a book in his mouth. Any ideas?"
"That's weird. Oh well. Areis was bound to be exposed sooner or later."
"I don't care about Areis! I care about my company and it's weaknesses being exposed! I didn't break you out jail for nothing!"
"I don't give a crap about your company. All I want, is revenge."

[T man]

Max was still searching for charlotte. "Where the heck did that woman go" max asked him self. As he continued walking he saw cop cars go by. Once the cars went by he pulled out his minerature computer and started typing. On the screen it reported that a hotel clerk pushed a silent alarm but didn't respond to some calls. "I guess that'll be kilo's work" max said as he jumped. He landed on the roof and started running. I wonder how long it'll take the cops to get there" max asked him self as he ran. Once the hotel came into view he jumped into the air and landed on the hotels roof. "I guess i'll find out of this diary belongs to charlotte or not" max said as he got into the hotel to start searching for her.

Just as Charlotte started to fall asleep, she snapped awake and sat up.

"Kilo? What did he do now?!" Charlotte flew out of bed and put her clothes back on.

"Wh-what are you doing? Hey, where are you going?" Jackel got up and threw his clothes on.

"Kilo's at it again. C'mon, we got to see what's going on,"Charlotte stumbled as she tried to put her boots on.

The two left the hotel and drove to the one they left Charlie and Kilo, only to see it surrounded by cop cars. Charlotte and Jackel ran up behind the building and entered through an emergency exit. The climed to the second floor and looked around, they saw nor heard any evidence that Charlie and Kilo were on that floor. They climbed the stairs to the third floor.

"Charlie!! Let's go!!"Kilo came flying out of the room and knocked Charlotte into the wall.

"Kilo! What on earth is going on?!"Charlotte grabbed him by the ear.

"Oww! I don't know what happened! One minute I heard my name on the news, the next I was looking at the hotel clerk with blood everywhere!!"Kilo was frantic.

"Calm down, let's get going before-"Charlie walked out into the hallway to see it filling up with policemen.

"Shit!"Charlotte released Kilo's ear and grabbed for her gun, but it wasn't in the holster.

"Fuck!!" was the next word out of her mouth.

"Don't worry, I got this one,"Charlie stepped forward.

"Are you sure? There's alot of them,"Kilo questioned,"I will help you then." The two took their stances.

Charlotte and Jackel as well. If they didn't have weapons, they had their martial arts.[/color][/font][/b]

* Why do I always find my self fighting the cops? I really hate my life*
Charlie thought this as she pulled out her two 48 magnums from her duffle bag and took aim. The police surrounded them with their guns aimed at her and the others.
" Put your weapons down raise your hands so I can see them."
One of the police man called out.
" Just perfect. There's about twenty of them, four of us, only two of us has weapons, and I'm starting to get pissed. Which isn't good." Charlie murmured to the others.
" What happens when you get pissed?" Kilo asked in confussion.
" You don't want to know, but you just might find out wether I like it or not."
" I said lower your weapons and show me your hands. If you don't you we will fire. Now I repeat lower your weapons."
" Well the way I see it we have two choices. We can either surrender to them or we can take them all on and try to run." Jackel said to the others.
" Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not surrenduring." Charlie said sarcastically.
" I'm with Charlie." said Kilo and Jackel in unison.
" Well then it's settled. Let's take them on." Charlotte said in a tone that ended the conversation.
Charlie immeadiately started shooting one gun after the other at each of the officers. Both Jackel and Charlotte took down one guy each and took their guns. They started shooting the other officers. Kilo was slicing and stabbing officers with his katana. eventually all the officers were either dead or unconcious. Charlie quickly picked up her duffel bag and they all ran down stairs into the lobby. They ran out the front doors were police cars were parked out side with policemen aiming there guns at them.
" This is Lt. Jackson. Lay down your weapons and raise your hands to where I can see them or we will open fire."
" D**n it." Charlotte swore under her breath.

O.O.C: I wrote that I found the diary before he did

Max walk down the stairs. "You guys can't give up that easily" max said as he walked to them. "Where did you come from" kilo asked. "I found a violet diary and i'd figure i'd find out if it belonged to charlotte" max said pulling out the diary. "I found one to" kilo said. Max nodded as he put the diary back in his coat pocket. "So what are we going to do about these cops" charlotte asked. "Hold on a seck" max said as he pushed a button on his watch. "I don't think we have a second to wait" jackel said as some cops approached. After a couple of seconds a silver motor cycle came by and ram into all the cop cars sending them flying. The cops started running from the scrreching cars. "I never get tired of seeing it do that" max said smilling as the armor on the motor cycle with drew. "Couldn't you of done that earleir" kilo asked. "Ya but where would be the fun in it" max asked as he started hanging them guns. "Now may I suggest we leave now" max said as he started firing at the cops.

Elektra heard the sirens on the far side of town. She was right she knew she was close to Charlotte and the commotion proved it. She ran to the scene but got there to late.They were already gone.

"DAMNIT!"

She was furious with herself, and punched a wall next to her. Her knuckles bled instantly as she kept her fist againt that wall. Slowly the blood ran down her fist and stained the wall. She lifted it and inspected the damage.

"Not too bad," she said as she licked her knuckles, but then she caught her scent.

Luck had changed in her favor and he followed the scent. She soon saw the tire marks in the road and gathered what info she could from her senses. And went in the cars direction. Completely ignoring the bodies around her.

She ran a lil bit of the way and then stopped at an intersction trying to gather info from her senses... she stood there puzzled for a moment and went on...

She was happy she was hot on her trail and she hoped that Charlotte could provide answers. She continue to here sirens off in the distance and continued to follow them as quick as possible but she knew soon that she wouldn't be able to keep up. Luckily a few blocks away she found an open car. She quickly hot-wired it and raced off after her. Hoping that she didn't get there too late.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[color=teal][font=times new roman][b]Max was driving like Charlotte, this made her smile. Charlotte looked through the back window to see them being followed by a red sedan.

"We're being followed!"Charlotte growled.

"I'm on it!"Kilo burst through the window and lept onto the presuing car.

The car swerved into the window of a department store. Max pulled the emergency brake, the front brakes locked and the rear end spun around. Max let go of the e-brake and shifted, pulling up to the crashed car. Kilo jumped out of the window and dusted himself off, smiling ear to ear.

"Nice,"Jackel clapped his hands together and rubbed them.

Charlotte, with an expressionless face, ripped the door open and jerked the woman out of the car, throwing her against the car.

"Who are you!? And why do you follow us?"Charlotte held the woman to the car with her for arm and knee.

"Charlotte Maxwell? I have been looking for you this past year. I need your help. Please I mean you no harm, I just want answers,"the woman spoke softly.

"As do I, what is your name? And what is this help you need?"Charlotte narrowed her eyes and twisted the woman's shirt in her grasp.[/color][/font][/b]

Elektra grinned at the grip this woman had on her clothing. But quickly elleviated the problem. She grabbed Charlotte's hadn and loosed the grip she had on her shirt. Making sure not to hurt Charlotte in the process.

Momentarily stunned everyone in the group became more guared and stepped forward. But Elektra let go of Charlotte's hand. Charlotte stepped back to the other members in the group as Elektra jumped backward onto the car and squatted. She smoothed out her shirt and then proceeded to talk.

"The name's Elektra, another one of your dad's 'greatest creations."

Elektra allowed her body to speak for her more than her words using her hands for gesture's as she talked.

She laughed to herself for a moment and then spoke up again.

"There are a few others like me here aren't there?"

Charlotte spoke up making everyone else keep quiet for now.
"What if there is?"

Elektra slowly stood up on the car and casually jumped down as if jumping off stage. She walked slowly up to Kilo. But still kept her distance.

"There's no if about it, he's one. I remember his smell."

Kilo looked up at Elektra. He was stunned by her comment but then looked around to the others.

"What else do you remember?"

"Nothing really," she said looking at the young woman. "But I hope that you can remedy that."

"Then how do you remebr my scent." Kilo interjected, now some what enraged.

"That's all I remember. Smells, scents, sounds, no visions, not for me. Because that's the way the good old doctor made me."

Elektra was getting upset but realised ith wasn't them they needed to blame for that. She squated again, and began to mess with a stone in the road.

"That's all I remember, smells!" Soon one of her finger nails grew longer as she contineud to play with the stone as if in a sort of trance. " The smells...Fire, ash, and blood." Soon a familiar face flashed before her. A victim of hers and she quickly retracted the claw and stood up.

Everyone bewildered at her looked at her wierdly. No one said a thing. Not for a few minutes.

Charlotte broke the silence first.

"You're looking for the diary as well, huh?"

" You got it, that's all I wish to see or shit, I'd like it read to me, but only about what I am... I wanna know exactly why I was made. That's all, nothing more. But that... I leave that choice to you."

She turned her back on Charlotte and the other and headed back to the car awaitin their decision.[/COLOR]

Charlie heard sirens in the distance and slowly get louder by each passing minute.
" You know wether or not if she reads it can be decided later. Let's just take her with us and get the hell out of here before the cops get here."
" That's really good idea except for one problem." Max said with a sighing voice.
Charlie looks at him in complete confussion.
" What's the problem?"
" The car only seats five people and her plus us makes six."
Charlie started looking around hoping to find a solution while the others talked wether or not they should even take Electra with them. Charlie was snapping her fingers as if it would make her think faster when she saw a black motorcycle. She knew she had found a solution to the problem and smiled. She turned back to the others.
" Well I don't think we should take her with us period."
" That isn't fair to her and you know it Kilo."
" He does have a ponit Charlotte. I mean....."
" HEY GUYS. (Charlie interupted) Here's what we are going to do. Max you take them and Miss Android over there and go."
" Well what about you?" Charlotte asked in confussion.
" Don't worry, I'll follow. Oh and Charlotte can you watch my duffel bag? (Charlotte nods her head) Thanks."
The group walks towards the car as Charlie walks towards the motorcycle. When she got on the bike the others where already in the car with the engine started. She quickly got the engine started and followed the car as it drove down the street. Charlie followed the car while listening to the sirens which for some reason sounded like they were getting closer rather than farther. Before she knew it a police car had come from a side street and crashed into a pole cutting her off from the car. She quickly put a foot down and turned around. She turned left on to a side street then left again and sped up. Eventually she the car and the police cars chaseing it in between buildings. The buildings ended and only a meadian seperated her road from there's. She went over the meadian, crossed the opposite lane and joined the cop cars. She got in between the two lanes and sped up. When she got up to the first cop car she cut it off causeing it to turn side ways and all the othe cop cars crashed into it. She quickly caught up to the car and followed as closely as possible.

[I] Miss Android,[/I] Elektra sat in the bask seat of the speeding car looing out the window. The comment Charlie made her, that side of her personality figured out.

As she continued to look out she knew that the next few days would be the hardest, and she wouldn't not only have to move carefully around theses people but also find a way to quit zoning out.

The car kept going and soon Max broke the silence.

"Where should we go?"

"I don't know" Charlotte said, "but we definetly need a place to keep quiet for the night."

"There's a hotel a few blocks way, we can head there," Kilo said.

"Don't you think people will be a bit suspicious of us," Elektra added. Breaking off any chance of someone eles input.

"What do you mean by that?" Kilo said sitting forward around Max to take a better look at Elektra.

"She glanced his way and answered promptly. " Well those cops had a few T.V crews with them as well, well up in the helicopter anyways. I think they had a few view of your faces." She turned to look back ut the window. "They're probably posted all over the news by now."

Everyone else was a little stunned by the comment.

"Damnit," Charlotte said. Hitting her hand on the dash board. "It looks like that plans out the window."

"Not really-" Elektra intervened. "They don't know my face. I wasn't with you then, and there have been no other camera crews since you left. That little scene detracted em a bit. Kept them around."

"I'll get you a few rooms and stand guard for the night for any trouble." she continued not moving her eyes from the building bassing her by. "Besides, the night helps me to relax a little"
