Anyone else watch this show from time to time.

It's funny and has some good action.

I like it quite a bit for a day of cartoon network that doesn't have much besides Kenshin.

What do you guys think?

The charactors expressions are priceless.

I LOVE TEEN TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's one of my Saturday cartoons favorite!!!!1(Aside from Kenshin and Sonic X) Don't you love Beast Boy in the school episode? Especially the part in the end w/ Raven asking, "Does Beast Boy have a brain?" and Beast Boy starts laughing hystarically. It's alot like an anime with the exaggerated facial expressions and big sparkly eyes. Last night's episode was cool!

Yeah, it's a great show. I didn't get to see last nights show though... but I guess I can just see it tonight. Raven and Beast Boy have to be my favorite characters. I love the coversations between them. ^_^ I loved the school episode! Funny stuff there. My sister even watches it with me sometimes. Which is not normal... she never likes anything I watch. I always look forward to a new episode every Sat. It is one of my fav Saturday cartoons. ^_^ Anyway, it's a great show.

I think it's okay, but it's kind of dumb. I've watched it once or twice, and I always think they could've made it better. I hear it has good reviews, though. I am not a real fan of it, though, but it's not too bad.

Another thing that hit me about Teen Titans is the fact that their starting to create a linear story. Like most anime, it started out with a couple of fillers to introduce the characters and then they started to do the whole "Slade" act and the story begins to pick up. I think its the first american cartoon to do this.

PS- I bet Slade is really Batman testing Robin. That would make since because Slade is just above Robin's skill and knows all his moves.

Well, actually, I do believe it is from Japan. I read something somewhere about it. And something else I have always noticed is that the theme song is in Japanese. But I've found it has many anime qualities to it. Just pointing that out! ^_^

EDIT: Ooops... my bad, I just noticed the song isn't in Japanese, I've just never really paid attention before. ^^;;

Ooh I love Teen Titans!!
Raven and Beast Boy are my favorite :)
Did any of you know that sometimes the theme song is in English and sometimes Japanese? So Teen Titans could be from Japan, I'm pretty sure it is.
But other then that I like Teen Titans.

A quote from Glen Murakami, creator of the Teen Titans animated series... (from Animation Insider)
Animé has been a big influence on the show - everything from Speed Racer and Kimba the White Lion to the work of creators like Osamu Tezuka, Ishinomori Shotaro and Hiyao Miyazaki. The series FLCL was a major influence.
I'm from a generation that grew up watching animé shows like Battle of the Planets and G-Force. I think my generation, and the kids growing up today, will be familiar with some of the style and techniques we'll be bringing to U.S audiences on Teen Titans.

Having worked on series like Superman, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond and Justice League, it gave me a clear example of what had been done in this genre, and that we were going to try to move in a different direction.

The look of Teen Titans is different than any other superhero show created for an American or western market because no other show has been so heavily influenced by animé. We use some "super-deformed" kind of takes, which I think of as a Japanese equivalent to a Tex Avery approach.
Also, just in case you were wondering about this Glen Murakami person, here's a little background info...
Glen Murakami began his career at Warner Bros. Animation in August 1991 as a character designer and storyboard artist on Batman: The Animated Series. In 1993, he moved on to serve as a character designer for the feature Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. In 1994, Murakami drew the Eisner Award-winning comic books Batman Adventures' Holiday Special and the Batman Adventures Annual Demons.

Additionally, Murakami served as character designer on the animated Wildstorm Pictures feature film Gen 13, before returning to Warner Bros. in 1995 to serve as art director on Superman.

Most recently, Murakami served as a producer on the futuristic hit Batman Beyond for the Kids' WB!, winning an Emmy Award for the 2000-01 season of that show. He then served as a producer for Justice League, the Cartoon Network series that chronicles the adventures of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the world's greatest superheroes.
Teen Titans is an American show. It's not necessarily an anime, although Murakami admits that anime had a large influence when he made the show.

Sorry, man. Unless I'm wrong (which I could be), Slade is based on TT villain Deathstroke The Terminator, who caused much havoc for the team in the comics.

If that's the case, I'd like to see a storyline much like with Tera from the Titans comic. Mmmmm, deception.

Heh, the theme song is in Japanese sometimes because its done by Puffy AmiYumi, one of my favorite Jpop bands.

They sing both the english and japanese versions of the TT song, and have even put it on their new CD, "NICE".:D

Yeah I really love that show, it's my Staturday morning show on YTV. I like it because it's kinda Justice League but in mini version. I also like the humor there between Beast Boy/Cyborg/Robin. My favorite epiosde was the first one. It was too hilarious.

That means nothing. Little touches like that have been thrown into comic related series for years.

Replying to what eternal otaku said 'bout Slade and Batman: I totally agree!!!!! There are soooo many connections between Batman and Slade that it's not even funny!!!! I'm just disapointed that the episode last Saturday was probably the last( for season 1, that is). Now it will be reruns next week, I suppose. But Teen Titans rule^_^

I think its a great show. Its like an eastern western. Raven is cool and Beast Boy is, well....Beast Boy.I have my suspisions about Slade. They are making the Batman conection way to obvious, it could be a trick.Hmmmm.Oh well.Maybe he is and I'm just looking into it to much.Who knows.

I'm pretty sure its a japanese cartoon, for one it has japanimation facial expressions and two I think the introduction song starts out in Japanese. But yes it's a great cartoon. It's Robin's version of the Justice League.

Hmmm... *wonders why there's no poll asking who your favorite Teen Titan is*

It's kinda weird that once, I saw the movie Freaky Friday, and when I came home, Teen Titans was on. In that episode, Raven and Starfire switched bodies! What a coincidence! But I liked that episode. It seems that Starfire and Raven are totally opposites, because they sure had a hard time being each other. And I thought the ending was kind of funny... (spelling may be incorrect in quote)

Raven: (meditating) Azura, Metreon, Zinphos...
Starfire: Hi, Raven! May I join you in meditation?
Raven: Sure... *Starfire joins her*
Both: Azura, Metreon, Zinphos...
Raven: Ummm... Star?
Starfire: What?
Raven: After this... can we go to the mall?
Starfire: OK!
