Baron Samedi
I hope that you are Ok Kitty...... That would be really bad. I recommend you see your doctor. I don't have this, but a friend of mine does. It doesn't seem to affect him all that badly... he just needs to check his blood. Here is some *hopefully* help...: http://diabetes.niddk.nih.gov/intro/index.htm Eh. Hope this helps. I hope you don't have it. I would not wish such a thing upon my worst enemy... Corey
Definitly go to the doctor. Diabetes isn't something to mess around with. Unfortunately I don't have it, but I have known many people that do. From what you descibe, it could be a number of things. It could be diabetes, but it coud also be some funky virus or cold. I'd still reccomend that you go get it checked out.
Ares
Yeah, go to the doctor. I hope you can get better. I know people with diabetes and it can get really bad, or it can not be too bad at all. That's why you need to see your doctor. I wish you well.
Drix D'Zanth
Hmm.. my dog is diabetic. I give him insulin twice a day. You may just be a tad hypoglycemic at points.. is your diet fairly balanced? Do you eat on a regular basis? How many meals? I know you are in your later teens, judging from your picture... how many carbs do you have each day? Answering some of these questions would help, as you could just be a type two diabetic. This means it's just a dietary problem and could be remedied without insulin injection. I would, along with most people here, sincerely reccomend seeing a professional.
Dagger
My grandmother is diabetic.... I agree, you should definitely go see your doctor. Even if you don't have diabetes, it sounds as though you're coming down with something. If you're really stressed out or not getting enough sleep, that can also have a surprisingly severe effect on your health. So try to take good care of yourself, and ask your doctor about your symptoms. I hope you feel better soon. ~Dagger~
Semjaza
I'd go to the doctor. You could have mono or something else for all you know heh. If you were low or whatever else, you'd feel more delerious than actually sick. My girlfriend is diabetic, and since she went to some diabetic camp as a child, so are a good deal of her friends. I see them all on a regular basis, so I'm quite used to it at this point.
duorocks17
I have hypoglycemia (i think that's how you spell it) it where you have low blood sugar. It makes you really tired all the time, and you have to eat snacks inbetween meals to keep you sugar level up. Some of the major signs that you have diabetes is if you are constantly thirsty, constantly hungry, and always have to go to the bathroom. My mom has type one, and my aunt has type two. It just runs in the family. You should ask your parents whether there have been cases of it in your family's history.
Mei
I do hope you don't have Diabetes Kitty. My Grandfather has it, and a fair amount of my friends at school. It isn't much fun for them. I went ahead and looked up some symptoms of Type 1 and 2, and I'd recommend you look at the site Baron gave you, as well as the one I'll give you. Type 1 Diabetes Usually diagnosed under 35 years of age Not overweight (slender) Quick start of symptoms (acute) Frequent urination Increased thirst Increased appetite Rapid weight loss Tiredness or fatigue Ketones in urine 10% of all people with diabetes Type 2 Diabetes Usually diagnosed over 40 years of age Usually overweight Slow start of symptoms or no symptoms at all (chronic) Blurred vision Slow to heal cuts Tingling/ numbness in hands/feet Recurring skin, mouth, or bladder infections Any of the symptoms listed under type 1 symptoms 90% of all people with diabetes If you did have either type of diabetes, I'd be leaning more towards Type 1. Here's a site you can take a look at. http://www.diabetes-symptoms-resource.com/

Baron Samedi
I believe that diabetes is an incurable (currently) disease. It can only be managed. If you are really worried, you should check out the sites that we listed for KittyLynn.
