RPG Sanctuary:Chaos and Revolution

Kyle walked cooly down the street. His head was still hurting from a recent injury, but he paid no attention to it. Just ahead was a large group of people crowded around something on ground.

As Kyle stepped into the circle of people he realized that the "thing" on the ground was actually a person. The crowd was jeering and punching at the figure and soon a split in his side revealed to Kyle what he had expected... an android.

"C'mon people, back off!" Kyle shouted at no one in particular,"I said BACK OFF!"

The crowd ignored him and continued to harrass the unfortunate android.

Now he took out his gun... one of the last remaining from the old days of peace... and fired a shot into the air. Immediatly there was complete silence.

"When I say back off, I mean BACK-OFF!"

"What's up over here?" said a voice from some way away down the street, "Who stopped the crowd?"

"I did" said Kyle, immediatly recognizing an anarchist.

"Well you better have a good reason, or..."

"Or what? You'll fight me? Bring it on!"

[Annie]

Tanya watched atop of a vehicle as the anarchist took out a switch blade and started slashing at Kyle. The crowd dispersed for fear that they would be caught up in the fight. Kyle whipped around and hit the anarchist in the side of his face, knocking him to the ground. He placed his pistol in its holster and turned around to walk away.

"Hey, where did everyone go? Are you going to be alright?"Kyle knelt down to check on the battered android.

While his back was turned the anarchist stood up and ran towards Kyle, his blade was up. [i]Puhtcheeerrooooinng!![/i] A single, powerful bullet was fired, the anarchist fell to the ground. Kyle looked around,stunned.

"Look! An anarchist has been shot! Everyone flee before the rest show up!!"

Tanya hopped off of the rusted car and casually walked past Kyle and the android. "Hey, nice shot,"Kyle stood up.

"Thanks,"she winked at him and continued to walk, sliding her long barrel into its thigh holster.

[Muad'Dib]

[I]Da**it Kyle, why are you so afraid?[/I] he thought, [I]After all... it's perfectly normal to meet another revolutionist... Jesus, then why can't I take my eyes off her?[/I]

Meanwhile, the android stood up shakily and tried to brush himself off.

"So where'd you learn to shoot?" Kyle finally said.

"Oh, I picked it up from a friend." replied the stranger casually, "After all, you've gotta defend yourself out here."

"Whadda ya mean 'out here', the whole world is 'out here'"

"Hey thanks for getting those people off of me guys" the android had finally managed to speak, "They would have killed me."

"Ya well, if we didn't some other revolutionist would have...well if they had gotten here in time..."

"I'm not a revolutionist." the girl said, "I just happen to wanna help"

"Oh I see..." said Kyle, though he really didn't understand why anyone but a revolutionist would risk his/her neck killing an anarchist.

Now the android was running, "Hey where ya goin?" Kyle yelled after him, but before the android answered, the girl was saying "Oh crap, here come the rest..."

[Annie]

Both braced themselves and Kyle took out his pistol. Tanya stood feet apart her hands at her side, the left hand tapped her Magnum. She had a playful twinkle in her eyes.

"How can you be so calm?" Kyle held fast.

"I don't know, it's just something I have always had. You stay calm, you see your target better," a group of anarchists, maybe about 7 or 8, charged with pipes, chains, anything blunt.

Tanya pulled the Magnum and within a blink of an eye, 3 anarchists already lay on the ground. Kyle was not far behind, the anarchists fought furiously. Swinging their chains and such, one whipped his chain around Tanya's ankle and brought her down hard. Two anarchists were trying to pummel her, but flipped around on her back and kicked one and spun around to kick the other's ankles, bringing him to the ground. She stood up fast, Kyle fired his pistol twice. Two more were dead.

One grabbed Kyle around the chest pining his arms to his side. He took a blade and brought it to Kyle's neck. Tanya raised her gun,[i]Pitching![/i] The anarchist fell, "Well right between the eyes!"

The remaining anarchists fled for their lives, Tanya and Kyle laughed adn walked away."So what's your name?"Kyle asked sliding his pistol into his holster. Tanya did the same.

"I am Tanya Remmings. And you?" She offered her hand.

"I'm Kyle" he replied, [I]Ah! I've got it now![/I] Kyle just figured out what had made him wary of Tanya when he first met her [I]It's that skin... I haven't seen skin that light in my life.[/I]

"Nice to meet ya Kyle." Tanya said and began to walk faster, nearly leaving Kyle behind her.

"Wait up! You said you weren't a revolutionist?" Kyle called after her and ran a few paces to catch up.

"Ya... just a wanderer."

"That doesn't really answer my question."

"Oh?"

"Ya... why would a wanderer risk her life to help out a revolutionist? You know all the anarchists will be looking for you now."

"Well maybe I'm just that kind of person."

"I'll never get some people." Kyle said to himself.

"What's that?" Tanya called to him.

"Oh, nothin."

After a while they came across one of the few towns that still had [I]some[/I] order. "We better take the backallies," Kyle had started to say, but Tanya was already half-way to a dark corner between two buildings.

"Will you stop that?" Kyle said as he cought up with her.

"Sshhh...I see the two that ran away."

"What? Where?"

"Out there... with the big guy." Tanya pointed to a larg opening in the rubble of the long-lost city.

"Oh, I see them."

"That's probly their 'master'"

"ya... hey, what are they doin?" The two smaller anarchists backed off, while the bigger one began to look about crazily.

"He knows we are here."

[Ares]

One of the anarchists walked towards Kyle and Tanya. Kyle and Tanya started to move away but they were too late. The anarchist had spotted them.
Anarchist 1: Who the **** are you?!
Kyle: Run for it!!
The two ran as fast as their legs would carry them. They were unfortunately not fast enough to outrun such an athletic anarchist. The anarchist hit Tanya in the back and she fell to the ground. Kyle stopped and turned around. They were screwed.
Kyle: Tanya! Are you okay?!
Kyle knelt down beside her and looked into her beautiful eyes. He was lost in her eyes, as if the world around him had disappeared. This was the girl he had seen in his dreams.
Tanya: Kyle, I don't feel so good. My back is hurt bad.
The anarchist was not about to let this perfect opportunity slip away from him.
Anarchist 1: Stupid idiots! Take this!! AAAHHHH!
The anarchist raised his hand. He was about to throw a Silver Eight Point Dragon Shuriken poisoned at Kyle!
TTTSSSSSSUUUUUIIIIIII
The arm of the anarchist fell to the dirt ground with a thud. But there was no blood on the ground or on his shoulder. It was a clean cut. A dark figure stood beside the anarchist. Kyle just realised what was going on. The figure then drove the katana into the anarchist's heart. The anarchist dropped dead. The dark figure ran off into the darkness. Kyle and Tanya were amazed at what had just happened. Someone had saved them. But why?

Kyle soon regained his cool and started wondering wich direction the stranger had gone...[I]Gees... this is getting to be quite a day.[/I] he thought.

"Did you see who it was?" asked Tanya, as she recovered from the hit in the back.

"No... he just ran off."

"Well I think we should go after him."

"Ya...ya you're right. Let's go." after he had said this Kyle realized he didn't know wich direction to go.

"Let's try over here," Tanya said.

"Ok." They ran off down one of the allies and soon found that the city was bigger than they expected. "Over there! Did ya see it?" Kyle said exitedly after a while.

"No, what was it?"

"I think it was that guy." As they ran in the direction that Kyle had seen the figure, it became apparent that they wouldn't find him at this pace.

"I've had it," said Tanya wearily after a few minutes of running, "Let's find a place to sleep."

"Well... alright." answered Kyle, not wanting to give up after all that.

[Annie]

"C'mon, give me a break. That f~~~ing anarchist landed me pretty good, my back is now killing me,"Tanya rubbed her lower back. She realize Kyle was staring at her. "Do you have a staring problem? Cuz I can fix it,"her face flushed pink.

"Niyuhh..No, it's just that I can't help the feeling that I have seen you before..."Kyle blushed as he played with his fingers.

"I guess I have one of those faces," her face calmed adn she gave him a smile. They found a cheap hotel and settled in for the night. They were only offered a room with one bed adn Tanya took advantage of it.

"Hmmm, not too shaby,"Kyle took his gun holster and placed it on the table. Tanya did the same adn she slowly laid on her belly, feet dangling off the bed.

"Hey, can you massage my back for me?" Tanya pleaded Kyle.

"Uh, sure," he sat next to her and started to massage.

"The reason why I risked my life for a revolutionist, it's because I am tired of walking into a town and seeing children huddled up together fearing that an anarchist will kill them for laughing..uhh, not so hard Kyle..."Tanya winced,"How ironic, anarchists are supposed to bring freedom, heh, all they have done is destroy the liberty of peace adn all the rights they strive to have. I walk into a town and see the citizens cower under 'freedom'..What freedom? They have none anymore, the anarchists wanted freedom for all? No, they have become what they hated, a government..."

"Tanya?" Kyle leaned over to see that she had fallen asleep.

[Ares]

Ares walked down the street in the surrounding darkness. He was looking at the littered ground as he strolled along. His hand was on his sheath. He was thinking to himself, "Who were those two people earlier? And what were they doing around this part of the city? Don't they know this is dangerous turf? Well, then again, why did they have guns?"
Ares was confused still. But he planned on figuring out who those two were. He needed to find them.

Ares fell to the ground. Blood splattered everywhere, and it was coming out of his side. A golden dragon eight point shuriken lay by his side. He lloked up, but he saw nothing. The world around him was going black. Black it was going! His vision was blurry, breathing was becoming a struggle for him. Was this his last day to walk this wonderful earth, the earth on which he had slayed thousands of men? Was this his punishment for slaughtering evil men?!
Ares: Why...why am I...
Ares's eyes closed. He had lost conscience.

Selenay turned the corner at a dead run. She grabbed onto a bar over head, lifting her out of the way of the street fighters. They stopped under her. "Where the hell did she go?!" She swung up silently to the top of the building. She walked across, and drpped off on the other side. She saw a man, lying on the ground, suriken next to him. She looked to the shadows, and, seeing a figure move, flicked her wrist back, then forward at an unearthly pace. A dagger shot forth at the figure, and it hit the ground with a dull thud. Selenay rushed over to the man lying on the ground. He was uncociouss, but still losing blood. "****!" She turned him over, and blocked the wound. She bound it, and left the guy alone. She turned to the guy who had hit him, and bound him. Then, she leaned on the wall, in the shadows, hair falling over her tan/olive face, and waited.

[Annie]

Tanya quickly flew off the bed, knocking Kyle on the ground. She grabbed her .45 Magnum and strapped the hoster to her thigh. She ran towards the door, picking up her reverse blade sword and slinging the leather strap over her head.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" Kyle grabbed his weapons and ran after her.

"I smell blood, a lot of blood,"Tanya slid on the dirt and looked down the ally to her right, nothing. She looked to her left, "The smell of blood is strong in this direction," she cautiously walked through the ally, looking in every direction.

"How can you smell blood?"Kyle was astounded.

"When you've killed enough, you kinda get to be best friends with blood,"Tanya whispered as she unsheathed her sword.

"What use is a reversed sword going to do?"Kyle whipsered back.

"Knock out an innocent person instead of killing them..." she peered around the corner of a building to see three figures down the ally. One was leaning against the wall and two were lying on the ground.

"What do you see? Are there any anarchists?"Kyle was looking around to make sure no one was to sneak up on them.

"I am not sure whether they are anarchists or revolutionists. Two people are laying on the ground, bleeding or were bleeding, and there's a person leaning against the wall,"Tanya relayed to Kyle.

The breeze blew her dark red hair across her face and back into Kyle's. The figure against the wall looked in their direction. "Damn,"Tanya turned back.

[Ares]

Finally, after an hour of lying on the ground, Ares awoke. But he noticed that a girl was leaning against the wall beside him, and a ninja was bound in cords ten feet away from him. The girl knelt down beside Ares when she noticed that he was awake.
Selenay: You almost died, but luckily I saved you from death.
Ares: Well...thanks...I guess. What...is your name...miss?
Selenay: You can call me Selenay.
Selenay giigled. She sort of liked this samurai. Ares also liked Selenay. She had saved his life and her eyes were very beautiful. Ares was in love.
Ares: You're so beautiful! I mean...
Ares blushed and looked down at the ground.
Selenay giggled yet again.
Selenay: Thank you, I also think you're pretty cute.
Ares: Well...thanks. *He blushed even more* Oh...I almost forgot. I'm looking for two revolutionists. One has brown hair and one has dark red hair. Have you seen them? It's a guy and a girl.
Selenay: Why are you looking for them?
Ares: I'm curious to know who they are. They've been wandering around here with guns.
Selenay: I'm afraid I haven't seen them.
Selenay put her arm around Ares and helped him up.
Ares: Could you hold me while we walk? I'm badly injured.
Selenay: Then shouldn't we go to a doctor?
Ares: We'll go tomorrow.
Selenay: Okay, whatever you say.
So the two started off down the street, while Ares was blushing uncontrollably. They left the ninja in the streets for the police to deal with.

Selenay felt her cheeks heat up. This guy was increadibly gorgeous. She retrieved her dagger from the chest of the ninja, sliding it back into her wrist sheath. She helped Ares up, and the two walked down the street. Her eyes were alight, and when they reached a certain street, Selenay directed him down it. Ares said," Where are we? I dont recognize this part of tow..." Selenay said," You'll see. I live down this way." She turned a corner, and opened a door with her free hand. She pushed it open, aand they stumbled inside. She kicked it shut, and her hand flew across the wall to find the lgihtswitch. The lights came on, and Selenay walked Ares over to her couch. He sat down, and Selenay dissapeared into the kitchen. "Want something to drink? Soda? Water?" Ares said, a little surprised," Water, please." Selenay came out, bottled water in one hand, Coka Cola in the other. She tossed him the water bottle,and sat down next to him. "So... what was that ninja doing anyway?" Ares was about to answer, when the door thudded once, then gave way. The gang that had followed Selenay had found her. "OH, Holy Cra*." She got up and got infront of Ares. She got her staff from the floor, and got into a fighting stance.

Unaware to the travelers below him, Viper was perched upon the rooftop above the street with his Katana drawn. He smiled as he saw the four humans unaware of his presence. He snickered to himself as he saw that the "ninja" was cought. He waited for the rest of the humans to move out of the street before he comes in for the kill. He jumped from the building without breaking a sweat. Viper took his blade and slit the throat of the ninja.
"You are to weak to be worth time" he whispered into the ear of the dying ninja as blood poured down his neck. "Now for that 'Kyle' kid..."

[Ares]

Ares was shocked! What the heck were these geng members doing here? He was not about to let Selenay fight alone.
Ares got up and drew his katana.
Selenay: Ares, get back. You're wounded!
Ares: You don't know how well I can fight if you think one wound is going to stop me! Hahaha!
Ares's eyes lit up red. He was ready to kill!
One of the gangmembers came at Ares with a broadsword. Ares deflected this weak attack and went under the broadsword and stabbed the gangster in the gut. Blood poured out of him as if he were a fountain.
Selenay: You're good! Where'd you learn that move?
But Ares had not the time to answer her. Ares blocked a mace from hitting Selenay in the head just in time.
Selenay gasped. That was a very close call!
Ares then sliced the mace in two and decapitated the head from the gangster. He was brutal when it came to battles.
The last gangster, who wielded a staff, attempted to hit Selenay, but she blocked it. She then hit him in the stomach and the chin with the end of her staff. He fell to the fllor with a thud.
Ares then moved the lifeless bodies outside and slammed the door shut. Selenay put her arms on Ares's shoulders.
Selenay: Now, where were we?
Ares blushed intenseley. This was great. So now he knew that Selenay liked him!
Ares: Uh...

Selenay pressed her body closer to Ares, taking pleasure in his blush. Her hands slid from his shoulders to his chest as his arms slid around her waist. He pulled her closer, and they kissed. Selenay suddenly let go, and fell over backwards onto the couch, pulling Ares on top of her. She ressumed kissing him. Her eyes closed as a thrill of pleasure was sent through her body. They lay breathless, Ares stroking her soft hair with one hand, Selenays head leaned aginst his chest between her hands. Her eyes stayed closed, and she couldnt stop herself from falling asleep against his warm body.

Viper stepped outt of a shadow and approached Ares, looking at the corpses and clapping. He stepped around the corpses, looking at each one and admiring the skill that Ares took. Viper stands up and looks at Ares and Selenay.
"Sorry to disturb you two lovebirds, but do do either of you know a Kyle?" he asks them. Ares and Selenay don't answer. "I need to find Kyle Sentik, badly. He has brown hair and carries a long dagger and a pistol. I heard he has a female friend...a Tanya Remmings. If you see them, go to the run-down house on 14 avenue...Thanks". Then Viper turns around rudly and walks slowly away.

[Ares]

Ares was in heaven. Here he was, making out with the girl that he just fell in love with today. He also could not help falling asleep on her warm body. Her skin was so soft.
After Ares had been asleep for half an hour, Selenay woke up. She got off the couch, careful not to wake Ares.
Selenay: Oh, he's so cute! I'm so lucky to have him as my man!
Selenay giigled. Then suddenly there was a loud knock at the door, which fortunately didn't wake Ares. Selenay opened the door and peered out. A gun was aimed straight at her eyes. Tanya was holding the gun, and Kyle stood behind her.
Tanya: Let us in! It's for your own safety!
Selenay had no choice. She opened the door.
Selenay: Who...who are you!?
Tanya: Don't be scared, we're just here to warn you that a ninja known as Viper is out on the hunt this time of year. Just be careful. Tanya looked over at Ares, sleeping like a baby.
Selenay: I know you didn't point a gun at my head just to tell me that!
Tanya: Well... are you a revolutionist?!
Selenay: You're pretty straightforward, but yes, I am.
Tanya put the gun back in her holster.
Tanya: Good, so are we. So, you've gotten a little close to this samurai, have you?
Selenay: Well, yeah, I guess. What's it to ya?!
Tanya: Just wonderin'. Well, you care if we sleep here tonight?
Kyle: Yeah, we're out of money.
Selenay: Fine, you can stay in the guestroom. But only for one night!
Kyle: Thanks! And the two went off to the guestroom.
Selenay then woke up Ares and sat beside him.
Ares: Hey, what's up?
Selenay: Nothin' much. Did you sleep well?
Ares blushed. He just remembered lastnight.
Ares: Well, yeah, I guess. Heheh.

Deep into the night, about four in the morning, Kyle and Tanya were asleep in the guest room. Tanya had the bed of course and Kyle was on the floor with a pillow. Then in the middle of the night, a loud crash was heard in the guest room that woke up Kyle and Tanya quickly. On the floor, right next to Kyle's face was a dagger with a note attatched to it. Kyle unraveled the note and read it.
In blood red ink was written "I found you".

[Ares]

Ares jumped up and rushed into the guestroom. Selenay followed. When Ares got in the room, he saw that Kyle and Tanya were both awake and he saw the dagger.
Kyle: Ares! Look at this note!
Ares rushed over and looked at the note. "Viper." That name had not been in his mind for years until recently.
Ares: So, Viper knows where you are! Not good! We're going to have to hide you. Selenay, where should we hide him?
Tanya: What is he, a puppet? He's not gonna hide from a stupid ninja.
Ares: But this ninja is my rival. He is very vicious. Do not underestimate him! You have to believe me!
Kyle: Whatever. Thanks for your help.
Kyle and Tanya got up and packed their bags. Then they rudely walked out of the house.
Kyle: We'll be seeing you later. Or should I say soon? heheh.
Stelenay: Okay...what's going on?
Ares: You don't need to worry about it. I'll take care of you. Even if it means surrendering my life!
Stelenay: Wha?
Ares: Nevermind. Let's go back to the bedroom. I need to lay down. And...I could use a...a massage.
Selenay grinned as they walked back to the bedroom. She was going to get to massage Ares. Yay!

After Ares' massage, they both went to sleep. At almost daybreak, Ares heard the door creak open. He opened his eyes slightly, to see his rival in the room, and suprisingly, unarmed. Viper motioned Ares to come closer. He then slid outside and waited for Ares to come out. Ares slid out, but with his katana drawn and as soon as Ares saw Viper, he pointed it at his throat. Viper smiled, realizing that it really was Ares and not some look alike.

"Nice to see you, Ares" Viper says, glaring at Ares. "Don't worry, Im unarmed. I need your help".

[Ares]

Ares: You need my help? Give me a break! I don't trust you!
viper: I'm serious!
Ares: Why should I help you?
viper: Well, if you don't help me, I will stalk you and Selenay for the rest of my life. If you do help me, I leave Selenay alone and I won't bother you for a month? Is it a deal?
Ares: First tell me what you want me to do?

[Annie]

Tanya and Kyle were a mile or so out of town when the sun started to peer over the eastern horizon. "What just happened, Kyle?" Tanya was still confused.

"I don't know, it all happened so fast,"Kyle rubbed his eyes, still rather tired from getting only about an hour of sleep.

"Hmmm, where are we?" they were about 10 minutes away from a rural village. It was tiny and cozy, almost as if it hadn't even been over run with anarchists.

"I don't know, but I am getting hungry,"Kyle walked up beside Tanya.

"Me too. Man the desert is freezing at night,"Tanya rubbed her arms to keep warm. Kyle noticed, took of his jean jacket, and threw it around her shoulders. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and they continued to walk. Kyle grabbed his blushing cheek and smiled.[color=royal blue][i] What is it about this woman? Why am I so attracted to her?[/color][/i]

They found a small, home-owned resteraunt and sat down in a booth. "Do you know this 'Viper'? Why would he be after you?"Tanya asked while eating a bagel.

Kyle just looked into his cup of hot chocolate, watching the marshmellows swim around.

Viper looked around, making sure noone was around. Then he wispered in Ares' ear.

"I need you to help me in my 'business'. I know you don't do this stuff anymore, ever since we split up you started hating it, but I need you to help me with Kyle, and I know he is in this house. I will ask you once, or your girlfriend had better watch her back, cause I'll be stabbing it. Say yes...or Im sorry dear friend. I need you to kill Kyle, or at least help me find another paying client. I have a bounty on Kyle's head from an unknown anarchist for $6,000. If you can break it, maybe I could help you out." Viper saw the misfortune in Ares' eyes and shrugged and said "Never have feelings, they make you weak" Then Viper turned around and began to walk away and threw down a single rose, his trademark.
