[color=teal][font=times new roman][b]"Hmmm, it is something to think about. We should go and take a look at them,"Charlotte sat down next to Zeig on Siegfried's foot. Zeig remained standing.

"Where are they? In your quarters?" Zeig looked down at Charlotte.

"Yeah....."Charlotte stared off at all of the mechs.

"Charlotte? What's wrong?" Zeig ran his fingers on the top of Charlotte's head.

"I uh..nothing..."Charlotte sighed and stood up,"Let's get going."

She walked a little ahead of Zeig. He started after her.

"Zeig, I don't think we should go to my quarters together. I will go and get the fax papers and blue prints and meet you somewhere. You know, to try and stay out of too much suspicion,"Charlotte's voice was distant.

"Sounds good. Let's meet in the South Wing Courtyards. No one is ever there any more,"Zeig pointed.

"Yes, I will meet you there in about half an hour,"Charlotte smiled at Zeig and walked towards her quarters.

"Half an hour, if you aren't there, then I am coming after you!"Zeig called over his shoulder.

Charlotte slumly walked back down the corridor and past the auditorium. She stopped and peered in. It didn't look as if anyone had been in there, seeing the blood and vomit on the stage. She remembered that she was supposed to wait to get Matt until things calmed down, but she just couldn't.

"I can't stand the thought of him being in there by himself in his condition," Charlotte clutched her chest.

[i]What's going on with me? I was never this emotional...[/i] Charlotte softly walked down the aisles of the auditorium. She walked behind the stage and into the small room.

"Matt? Are you still in here?" Charlotte whispered.

"Cha-Charlotte? Is...that you?"Matt's fraile voice broke the silence.

"Yes, it's me,"Charlotte walked over to him and sat on the couch.

"I-I am...still.."Matt started.

"Ssshh, save your energy,"Charlotte hushed him.

"Why....do you..risk..yo-your safety?" Matt looked confused.

"I don't know. Your my friend.."Charlotte looked down at her twisting hands.

Matt placed a trembling hand on hers. Charlotte flinched and stared into Matt's foggy eyes.

Matt looked up at her with sorrowful eyes, "I'm sorry if I cause anyone any pain. I.....never meant to" he coughed up more blood.

"Hey, shush...you'll be okay. I promise you" said Charlottem her voice still holding the worry there.

"Tell...tell the oth...others....I've moved.....on" he said, looking up into her eyes, "S...s...stay...until....I.....go" his voice was serious and he already knew his fate.

[color=teal][font=times new roman][b]"No, I will not do that! You are going to be fine! I will get you out of here, along with the rest of your friends.."Charlotte's eyes brimmed with tears.

"Friends..."Matt's voice pitched.

"Yes, you have friends. Me, Mira, James, Zeig...please, don't leave.." Charlotte's voice cracked.

"I...am..sorry, to have.."

"Stop apologizing! You are going to get out of this academy with me and the others. Matt...please,"Charlotte's lip trembled.[/color][/font][/b]

Matt, breathed heavily...."I....can't....keep...ahold...much longer. Charlotte....help me!" his words were heavy and raspy, if he didn't recieve medical attention soon then he would end his time here.

[color=teal][font=times new roman][b]"Hang in there Matt,"Charlotte wrapped a blanket around him and stood him up.

"I..can't....make....it.."he leaned all of his weight onto Charlotte.

"Yes you will. Lean on me, I am stronger than you think,"Charlotte threw his arm around her shoulder and the limped out from the auditorium.

"You know....we..can't go..to the..academy's in..firmary..."Matt uttered in pain of moving his body.

"I know, we are not going to the academy's infirmary. We are leaving the academy,"Charlotte and Matt miracelously made it to Charlotte's quarters without being caught.

She laid Matt gently on the bed, tears of agony flowed freely from his bloodshot eyes. Charlotte picked up her cell phone and called Zeig.

"Zeig, change of plans.....I know I am supposed to be down there...Matt's dying! He won't make it if I can't get him to a proper hospital.....Please, that would be most helpful...Right...yes we are in my quarters...See you in a minute..."Charlotte hung up and walked over to her dresser.

"Wha..did he..say?" Matt tried to sit up.

"Lay back down, Zeig's going to help us get out of here. He's starting Seigfreid and he'll be here shortly to help,"Charlotte packed some clothes and sat down next to Matt.

"You...know..what you're..doing?" Matt's eyes flashed of anger.

"I know...." Charlotte took his quivering hand and put it against her cheek.

''Why?"

"Because I care about you..."Charlotte stood up and grabbed a clean tank top and a pair of jeans and began to dress as fast and descretely as she could.

Matt had his eyes closed anyway. There was a slight knock on Charlottes door. Matt looked frantic, Charlotte froze.

"Charlotte? Ready?" It was Zeig, his voice just above a whisper.

Charlotte opened the door and Zeig scooped Matt into his arms. Charlotte grabbed her cell phone and ran after Zeig.

"Seigfried is fired up and ready to run. I also started Grim for you,'' the three snuck around the corridors.

"Okay..."Charlotte flipped up her cell and called Mira.

"Mira, Zeig and I are leaving the academy," Charlotte whispered.

"What?! Why?" Mira's voice was confused.

"Matt's dying and we are taking him to a non-corrupted hospital. You and James going to come? If so, you'd better be in the hangers in 3 minutes. We are going to leave when we get there, we won't wait,"Charlotte's voice was stern and cold.

"Right, we're on our way,"Mira hung up the phone.

"We'd better hurry,"Zeig sounded worried.

Charlotte looked down at Matt and saw that he was starting to pale. She rubbed his face and tears started to flow down her cheeks.

"Matt, don't die, please.."[/color][/font][/b]

[Dead Alice]

"James!" said Mira, snapping him out of his daze.
"Huh?"
Mira stood up and pulled on his arm. "We have to get to the hangars, NOW."
"What, why?" James asked as Mira dragged him along quickly.
"Matt needs to get to a hospital," she said as she fought back tears. "We're going with Charlotte and Zieg to find one."
"Oh man," said James frantically. They broke into a run and arrived at the hangars finally, gasping for air.
"Charlotte! We're here!" Mira said, spotting her. She saw Matt's pale face and felt her legs weaken. James had to hold her up.
"Matt! Hold on, we're here for you," said Mira with a horrible feeling in her stomach.

[Squall]

James cursed under his breath when he saw Matt. "Jee-sas. I knew he looked bad but..." Mira shook her head. "He's gonna look a lot worse pretty soon. I'll go get Angel. Where's Cooler?" James took off down the hangar. "It ain't finished yet! The bum came in late!" He started laughing as his shoes clanked on the metal floor down the hall.
He skidded to a halt when he saw his mech. An arm was missing, and half the chest and head plating was missing, revealing the dark wiring and flashing lights. James couldn't have been happier to see it. "Hey, Zeig!" He called out. "What do you want?"
"I'll race you through the defensive barrier!"
"You idiot! We're trying to escort Matt to the hospital, not go out for a joyride!
"Swell, so are you in or out?!"
"...You're on!" James flashed a wild grin as he climbed into the cockpit.

[The (Sic) Shape]

Zieg quickly made his way into mech and started it. He could see that James was ready despite that is mech wasnt completed yet. He patched a transmission to Charlotte's mech.

Zieg: James and I are going to race to the defensive barrier, then destroy it. We'll clear a path for you, Mira and Matt. I'll call you once the barrier's down.

Zieg piloted Siegfried next to Cooler and they they prepared their mech.

Zieg: I hope you guys are ready to say goodbye to Kakashki Academy cause at the way things are going it would be wise to never come back! Ready James?

James: Of course!

It was silent for a few seconds, and both Siegfried and James suddenly started their boosters, and they were quickly on their way to the defensive barrier.

[Annie]

[color=seagreen][font=times new roman][i][b]"Right, hurry guys. Matt's fading," Charlotte was in Grim's cockpit, reading the systems.

"Charlotte! What are they doing?" Mira called up, holding Matt in her arms.

"They are going to destroy the barrier shields. Mira how much room do you have in your mech?" Grim's boosters surged to life.

"Next to nothing, do you have enough room for Matt?"

"I have some. Hold on, I am going to lower Grim," Charlotte took the controls and sunk Grim onto his knees.

Charlotte jumped out and helped Mira carry Matt into Grim's cockpit. Charlotte got him straped in and covered him with blankets. Suddenly, the alarms started to sound off, the hanger's lights shut off and red lights strobed. The two girls looked at eachother.

"They've taken notice to our departure. Hurry, get in your mech!!" Charlotte closed her hatch and fastened her harness.

She saw Mira jump into her mech and start up. Charlotte punched in an anti-gravity code, this would automatically adjust the high pressure within the cockpit.[/color][/font][/i][/b]

[Squall]

"Hey, Charlotte!" James called through the speaker. "What?"

"Rig Matt's mech to fly by remote. He'd be pretty steamed if we left it."
"Roger." [color=teal] James, you are in direct violation of Kakashki limitations, you are advised to-[/color] "Shut up and prepare for take off." [color=teal] ...initializing...take off in 5-4-3-2 [/color]

James grinned and switched on the boosters. The five mechs took off into the sky, Cooler and Seigfried soaring ahead. They were neck and neck as red lasers from down below started firing at them. They spun and evaded the lasers with high speed and amazing agility. Turrets that seem to float in a line across the sky suddenly pointed at them and fired lazers of their own. The two mechs spread and open fired on the turrets. Cooler fired a lazer rifle that was grasped in it's workable arm as Seigfried slashed through them with a beam saber.

[i] At Kakashki academy, nothing new or exciting ever happens, but that's not this story. Our story takes place somewhere else, where nothing mundane happens at all...[/i]
