Welcome to the OtakuBoards!

Your first stop should be the OtakuBoards Information Center. Please observe our general rules and the rules about post quality. You're sort of borderline, but I'm sure you'll be fine once you read the rules. ^_^

I started reading the Dragon Knights manga and I just couldn't get into it. At all. The first volume was just too boring. Maybe it was aimed at kids younger than myself?

Yeah... I've only read the first book. It was all right, but it wasn't the best thing I've seen. I have to agree with Queen Asuka, the first one was pretty boring. My good friend has watched it for along time and says it gets way better later on. But I don't plan one buying anymore, I might watch some of the anime. It just depends on what I feel like.
And yes, welcome to the OB... I must say it does help to read the rules! ^_^

I must agree thet the first one is pretty boring (the manga, anyway), but it gets sooo much better as you get into it. I tried reading it once, but couldn't get past the first page. Luckily, my friend lent me a bunch and made me read it, which I am very grateful for because now I am thoroughly enjoying it. The first one is probably so boring because there are nothing but side-stories in it, with no actual plot whatsoever. It basically just sets the stage for the storyling that starts in the second book. So give it a go. Oh, and what's a pc...?

I love Dragon Knights! It's one of my favorite manga. I all of them that have come out so far except #10.. So I guess it's not all of them, but when I find 10 I'm going to buy it. It's a great series.

Err... I mean I OWN all of them.. lol I forgot to type that.. -_-

Please do not double post, it is against the rules. Just go back and edit your original post. *QA*

I have to love the artist's style, but the plotline lost me somewhere back in the midst of volume one. I think the series' greatest flaw was characters who look vaguely similar (almost all of the light-haired (is it really blonde? I know not.) females are indistinguishable) or simply unrecognisable (Can _someone_ keep their hair colour/style unchanged? Especially Rath. That boy must have more hair dye than Noin and Hilde (Gundam Wing) combined!) In short, it is not a series that appeals to the easily-confused.

I like Dragon Knights. Especially Rath and Karl. Fun stuff. I've been following it since the first one came out, and my friend and I own all the ones since. It's good, but as said before, the plotline is way too detailed and confusing, and the characters a little undistinguishable.
