Kanariya
I'm not sure if there is a topic about this or not, but here I go. Just a question...has anybody heard of The Simpsons Road Rage? I have played it for quite a while and it's really cool. Not the best video game in the world, but it's nice. If you know about this game, do you like it? Who do you usually be? To answer for me, I'm usually Homer because he curses and usually makes me laugh, but Bart is pretty funny too :)
Guest GodOfDeath
My cousions and I play it. It is funny but it needs better cel shaded graphics. then It could be one of my favorite games. My fav charicter is Professer Frink because he is fast and just weird. (good combo.) or Sometimes Im Lovejoy. his car is just funked up, dont you think. Hey, did you knw the secret character is Homer with some car don't know what, but a boy told me Homer's car horn plays the spanish song, "La cookeracha." Ha I really am playing it now. On and the book moblie that Lovejoy drives...thought he would drive a heaven's chariot or something, calling the book mobile, "Come ride in the LORED'S chariot." A book mobile is lord's chariot? Okay... Well Homer and Bart are first, then probably Otto. Read the back of the bus for Otto when your playing. It says, "Stop when red lights flash, dude!" I giggled and kept on playing him since then. What was your highest score?
Dead Alice
My brother rented The Simpsons Hit and Run. It's so mean!!! You can run over old people!!!
OtakuSennen
I've had this game for almost two years now, I believe, and it hasn't been one of those games I master and forget. I frequently revisit it and attempt getting a high score. The levels are vast with a lot of gags in them, and the locations are just like how they were in the show and are abundant. Of course, not everything is where it originally was in the series, but things are always inconsistently moving and changing on The Simpsons. My favorite level is DownTown. It's easier to navigate than some of the levels, and the locations you drive to are quite fun. The Legitimate Businessman's Club, Springfield International Airport, The World's Largest Magnifying Glass (Not a location you are told to take someone to, but it's there).. They all bring back memories of some of my favorite episodes.
GodOfDeath originally wrote: [b]My cousions and I play it. At least not on the Gamecube version. There's a hint of cel-shading in there, but I don't consider it to be authentic. Yes, Frink is my favorite as well. His car does that cool blue blur effect, and he has some of the funniest sound bytes in the game (At least to me).. Lovejoy is not high on my list of favorite Road Rage characters. He's funny on the television series, and The Book Burning Mobile is a fun car to look at, but he's too slow and bulky for my liking. Why is he burning Little Women, anyway? What's wrong with that book?
xXchaosfaerieXx originally wrote: [b]My brother rented The Simpsons Hit and Run. It's so mean!!! Its level of freedom and even more extensive plethora of in-jokes and gags are what draws me to it more than Road Rage, though they are both games. My main problem with Hit & Run is that the driving is a little more sluggish than Road Rage, but at the same time cars would get barely tapped and sent flying in the first Simpsons next-gen game.
Pagan
Another crazy Simpson game. I rented it from Blockbuster the other day and took it back and asked for a refund a hour latter. That game was so boring and easy. I was funny though. If you want a racing game along those lines just wait for the Kirby game on Gamecube. PS2 have the best real life racing games like Test Drive 5 and Grand Truosinmo(sp?) but Nintendo has the best funny racing game like Kirby, Mickey, and Mario cart. It is much better then Road Rage, so it's kind of rare for me to play it. And running over old people is so fun! Running over anybody is fun to me on the game. But I am not violent. Your highest score was that?!?! Mine was $9,688. I suck compared to you...*better practice* Yeah in hit and run it's harder to navigate cars, and it's kind of harder to get things. But costumes...they're funny. But hit and run is also better because you get to be chased by police cars if you start beating up people or destroying public property. Morpheus
My highscore is in the 11,000 range. You have to play on the hard difficulty to get there.
Rockstar Haruko
Oh that game is sooo fun!! I love playing it. I think I'm addicted to it because you have like goals you have to meet and stuff and you're trying to get all the drivers and streets. I also like how the cars drive. Their so smooth. I usually use either Homer or Grandpa mostly because their cars are the only ones I can handle without crashing or something. Their both pretty funny too, but I think Mr. Burns is funny. I like how he always has some little comment when you get done picking up people and stuff. That game is cool.
Nate
I love that game, i play the Xbox version. And i got 19,000 bucks on the first level, where you can back up and get Bart? It was easy to pull 15,000 on my first try. I have seen Hit and Run, btu have yet to purches(sp) it. (I'm getting Need 4 Speed Underground next) Waht's the game about (hit and run)? Kanariya
Hit and Run is about you being the Simpsons characters and an evil plot is going on and you have to save Springfield. It's better then Road Rage, you can get out of your car, hijacking (spl) cars, and blowing them up including yours. Pull the school alarm!!! Also get chased by the cops, but if yuor caught, pay up. I have Play Station 2, the reason why I put this thread on this board. I am EVIL HOMER!!!
Fatty_McGee
Yes, I play Simpsons Road Rage once in a while. I have it, but its not my favorite game. It could use a little more graphics. In my opinion, I like Homer for his funny but crude language. Nothing much to say to that game. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the lowest, I would give it a 6. Heretic_Hatred
I got The Simpson's road rage about 2 years back. I played it for some while, but it quickly got boring. I used all kind of different riders, and it seemed entertaining and funny at first. It isn't a game that would be recommended for playing.
Xyandar
I also played it for Xbox. It was personally a pretty cool game to play but I didn't really get into it. It was fun having to take people places and stuff and hitting them I found was reallu amusing. Unlocking new characters and streets gets me more iterested in the game. I do agree that they could have made better graphics for the game. I know the simpsons never had the greatest graphics but still... For a game on a really good system, they should try. lol
Guest LiquidMetal
Hi!! My score is 164.786. Pls tell me if you know someone with a higher score in one round. I played nearly 3 hours only for this one round. At the end it's very difficult, because Mr.Bearns comes after taking every passenger and there are so many things lieing on the street. I love this game. It's the funniest multiplayergame when you play against an other "pro-"gamer!!!!
