Sakura
The echoing sounds of the wave crashing against the sea side cliff filled the night time air as the light of the tri moon reflected down upon the cold dark waves of the ocean. The cry of a sea gull filling forth upon the air as the girl stood there. Her emerald green hues looking out and over the churning waves as strands of her shoulder length chocolate brown hair danced about upon the wind. Her lips of soft rose pink were pursed together as she placed the mouthpiece of the silver and blue ocarina to her lips. Each of her finger tips placed gently upon each finger hole, and her robes of blue and silver dancing about upon the wind. Her fingers moving idly and softly as the soft slow air was put into it. The notes ringing out with grand clearity across the ocean waves, and as they did the wind began to grow and the sea began to grow more violent. The ocean itslf coming up and raging forth as suddenly someting burst forth. The grand blue beast bursting through the waves. Its grand sapphire wings shimmered like crystal in the moon light reflecting the silver light that gleamed through them with a shade of that of an aurora. The wings flapping continously to keep itself high within the air, and its green glowing hues upon her. The girl though continued to play, continued to play that marvelous song as she dropped to her knees. Mental exhaustion sweeping over her as she hit the grass. The dragon though soon perched itself upon something that soon followed it up from the ocean surface. The tower of blue crystal being clutched within its talons as its green eyes narrowed as it watched her. "Hikari...find her...find me...save us...come home..." The dragon spoke in a mental voice that filled her mind, and yet she couldn't force them away. "Kari...Kari..." Suddenly everything was spinning out of control as she collapsed along the ground. Her full body feeling the full weight of the exhaustion that had pressed itself against her. Her head rose slowly as the hoot of a owl floated into her room through the partially cracked open window of her bed room. The light of the moon filling into the place and along the blue and silver quilt that was laid atop of her small form. She pushed herself up so her emerald green hues shifted along to look up at the great white snowy owl that stood upon the branch outside her window. "Strange...don't see those type of birds here in New York." She whispered as she stood there looking to the grand bird before shaking her head to herself and plopping right back into her bed to sleep the rest of the night away. Soon the screech of her alarm woke her up. The repetitive annoying beep that rang into her ears through her sleep. Eyes passed upwards to look out her window to look and see that snow white owl was gone. She shoke her head to herself then before getting up, and getting ready for the day. It was near Ten A.M. when she got downstairs. Dressed in a white see through button up business shirt that was over top a blue top. Her camera strap slung over her shoulder as she glided along. Her blue boot like shoes silently hitting against the floor as she walked along. Her chocolate brown hair dancing down a single inch below her shoulder. She was heading straight for Central Park obviously, and to a specific area. She got into the small area. The scent of the trees filling the air and tingling upon her senses. Her eyes passed over her small group of friends within this little area and she took a seat upon a bench next to one of them. "Hey guys, whats going on?" She chirped then in that soft melodic voice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ We start in NYC's Central Park ok? Zen
Michael arrived at Central Park. Probably the only green place in this city. It seemed out of place within the confindes of this industrial jungle of steel and glass. Michael slowly sat down on a bench, next to a large centered fountain, depicting an angel. Michael looked up at it, admiring its beuty. Something not to commen in this city. Michael laid back into the bench, letting out a long breath and cracking his neck and knuckles with loud CRACKS. It had been a long while since he had gotten together with his freinds like this. But he wondered who had orgnized the whole thing..... No matter. It was probably just one of them anyways. He felt like taking a nap, but he had to wait. And so he laid back and let out another long breath....
Stick Fairy
Merisa hopped off the crosstown bus. "Thanks!" she yelled to the driver, who waved, then pulled away. Merisa streched her arms and yawned. What a perfect plan- take the bus, but have it stop in the middle of the park. It was a plan she had used many times, whe she needed air, but was to tired or weighted down to walk from her East Side high school. But today she was neither tired nor weighed down, just in a hurry. She ran up the stairs, the secret stairs that lead to the castle in the park. It was Merisa's favorite place, besides the garden next to it and the lake. It was her special place, where her mom had taken her for art classes ever since she was four. And since she had a few minutes before she had to meet her friends, it was the place she stood, overlooking the turtle pond and the gardens. The air refreshed her, her energy returning after her trek up to the top floor. She could see some people she knew starting to gather in their special spot, a small grove next to the great lawn. She sighed, because as much as she wanted to see them, she was always more comofortable at the castle. But it was time, so she took one last deep breath, and made her way down to earth. Kwai
Gen sat upon the top-most branch of an aged tree, probably an oak or perhaps a maple, but really did it even matter? He came long, long before the appointed time, and he always thought of himself patient because of his impatience to go to the appointments early and get it done before it even started. An illogical logic, but little did it matter. The fact was that he was sitting on the branch, somewhat bored, his backs aching from the rough bark, a little jumpy in fear of the creepy-crawlies running around, and musing his time away until the others arrived. He always liked doing this. Sitting or standing high above others, watching down upon them perhaps like Gods do, occasionally chuckling at their follies or jumping down to participate in their activities. He usually loved to do the former, the latter being too tiring, and he really hated to waste his strength and skill on pointless things. Besides, its unwise to show off one's attacks and fighting styles too much. This was how he was. Backed by a multitude of common sense and logic to back up his own means and purposes. But after all, aren't all human beings like that? So he was nothing less than the others, indeed probably more, considering his "gift". A small leaf slowly came floating down, and Gen considered it for a moment, the intruder upon his thoughts. After a few moments, he decided it unworthy for continued existance in his presence, and in a flash, tore out his sword and slashed the leaf into 10 pieces, neatly arranged, continuing their journey downwards, an amputated remain. Gen yawned a moment, then heard voices. Breaking away from his own world and thoughts, he returned to the lights of human companionship and reason, and lightly fell off of his branch, landing at the base of the tree cleanly. OOC: I know that was weird. But I am sleepy. And when I am sleepy, I write crazy things. I rest my case.
Shanghai
Ah it was the unfresh smell of the city in the air, mixed together with food like pizza, hot dogs, etc. It wasn't the first time this young boy who sat upon an old tree had smelled these smells. He was starting to get used to the unfresh air of the city, how he sometimes wished he would go back to Japan and live upon the mountains training. But he had no choice but to stay in the city, so he can finish all the manga he's reading of course! As I said, this boy sat upon an tree(maybe an oak or maple), eyes scanning the pages of a "Rurouni Kenshin" manga he had gotten into. He loved how these samurai fought back then after the bakumatsu. He had finished the series when Kenshin had defeated Aoshi, and the next had just started. With a calm expression on his face, his eyes would be pulled from the manga only for a few seconds as he saw a leaf dropping down only to be cut into 15 pieces in a flash. Chuckling a bit, he would keep his eyes on the manga," Do you think you would be able to preform the techinques in this manga?" he would ask his friend. Epsilon
Sue stepped out of the red car that had just stopped, and closed the door. Swiftly walking up to the front door, her parents waved good bye, as did she Sue and drove off. Turning Sue walked and came to entrance to the park. Looking around before she went, she thought of how the park looked so misplaced here in NY. But shuned the thought and started walking again. Strolling down the path, Sue's view was to the sky. After a while of walking she ended up near a large tree and stopped. Listening, faint voices could be heard. But she had no clue who most of them were, and none of the voices belonged to Kari. As Sue kept walking she saw a few people's shadow and then heard Kari. Sue starting running and came to a stop at where Kari and a few other people were. Dmitri_Dragoon
As he walked, his kakhi trench coat billowed slightly out behind him. Alex didn't have his fedora on, but he did have it in a pocket of his coat, luckily it would easily come back to shape. He had his hat off now so he could feel the sun on his neck and face. Alex loved the park, especially this time of the year. Made everything so much more... peaceful. He was glad to be able to see his friends now, it seemed like it had been forever since their last get together. He hoped a lot more fun could be had than before.. it was rather dull the last time. Of course he didn't care much for dances either. As he walked along, he saw many of his friends had already shown up. He walked up to them with a smile. "Hey guys!" He said still wearing the smile. "Alex! Where's the hat?" Merisa asked. "Don't worry, it's with me," he replied. "Oh.. I won't worry," Merisa said with a laugh. Alex gave her a sarcastic angry stare, but couldn't hold it for long. Once again he was smiling again, but it casually died away as everyone started small talk.
Ellerby
Max -as usual- was late for another friend get together. When he finally arrived everyone was in the midst of a conversation. So naturally Matt got their attention by doing something stupid like climbing a tree then jumping out of it making a big loud BOOM noise behind one of them. So that's exactly what he did. His hands graspd the soft bark of the tree as he climbed higher and higher. He grappled the branch and front swung up, up onto the soft leaves. He then spotted his next awaiting victim. He then saw Kari and Merisa singing and dancing. He remembered one day he heard some beautiful music and he looked to see two young girls (one of them he knew [Kari]) playing. He then brought out his fake drum (he was only 7 at the time) and started doing a beat to it. Ever since thhen they had been great friends. So he just jumped down and pulled out a miniature bongo and started beating it. Grabbing their attention. -Lrb
