Stessed out!!!

I have been very stessed latley because of school, parents, friend, and other crap. So im wondering what people here do when they are stressed so they can just relax. I've been all up tight and am haveing trouble coummunicating with people the way i used to. So I am in need of some help here so I can go back to normal.

[font=arial]Excersize. Yea, it sounds corny, but it helps me. Excersize till you drop.(don't push yourself too hard, though, it's bad for your health)You work so hard, you almost forget. Then you remember, and it's not so bad. Well, other than that, you can try to 'center yourself.' Another corny thing, right? Well, no. A nice steamy shower does the trick. Also, try listening to some nice music. Something really nice and calm. It always helps me to listen to music in a different language, because you make up the words yourself. Hope I helped.[/font]

Well, i guess it depends on how stressed out you are, anyways when i am really stressed out i listen to music and do nothin else, but it works sometimes and it gives me time to think things over.
Another thing that helps me the most is to get outside and do something like shoot some hoops, walk around town about 10 time or ride my bike or something along those lines, it gets my mind off of things.
Oh ya, one thing is don't let me get ahold of one of those stress ball thingys cause i'll probably end up dekin someone upside the head cause it makes me want to go and punch someone for some strange reason.I still don't know why though, but whatever.

I'm very stressed now too.

I find hobbies help. Like I feel relaxed if i play my instrument.I also like to sit outside,get alone and think,or talk on the phone.

I also walk around for a long time with my cd player and just listen to music,it helps relax me.I'll sing if i'm alone,just whatever you like to do.

It might help to try not to think baout your problems,take things one step at a time,and just relax.

You must be pretty stressed considering you cannot spell the word correctly heh.

As it is, I doubt anyone can really tell you what will work. It's different for everyone. Some people like to walk. Some go work out. Some read. Some draw. Some play video games.

I tend to mix all that up. Sometimes I just sleep. Just find what you like, something that makes you concent... and do it.

The thing to remember is that, no matter what you do to forget your stress, it only works temporarily. Right when you stumble back in the door after running a few laps, all that stress is still there.

The only way to [i]effectively[/i] deal with stress is just get rid of the thing causing stress. Big school project you're worried about? Don't read a book to forget about it; just get a good start on the project and you'll feel much better about it.

Granted, there are things outside of our control that stress us - which is unfortunate, because they shouldn't really. If there's nothing you can do about it, just remind yourself about that fact. You can't change things, so don't worry about them and let time sort them out.

Eh. i agree with wristcutter. Deal with whatever is causing the stress. If it is nothing I can control though....I will do whatever. Read, OB, listen to music. I havn't ever really been stressed. Just worried about the huge assignment due at the end of [i]this[/i] week. I am at school now, so I can't do it though. I will work on it this arvo at home though. Heh.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=darkblue]I am always stressed out about homework, I mean, I have a really bad habbit of putting it off till the last minute. ^^;; It always stresses me out big time. But whenever I'm stressed I just either write, talk to someone I trust about my problem, sqeeze something soft, play a video game (that ALWAYS gets my mind off something), bake something sweet.... then eat it ^^;;, draw, or punch the living crap out of my punching bag! One of those things always helps. I have helped my homework stress alot latey. I make myself do homework right when I come home, I always set myself a prize if I can do it. I've been really good about it now and I don't even need to set a prize. So I'm doing much better with that, but if I have other problems... I do one of the above.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

I just sit down and play some type of game and forget all about what im stressed about. try to get through a dungon on some game or beat people up on an online game. also punching things helps too lol.[/size][/color]

Deal with it Man! I know some people who can't function so they go to parties to chill out and then they are more stressed than before. They put off dealing with it.
That can only make it worse. Don't go have fun to relax, do the work then chill out. It's like stressing over homework while being too lazy to do it. Pointless.

:D Find your comfort food, (I recomend fried eggs and potato waffles, or a micro noodle, yummy)

Read/write fanfiction, fiction, a book, comic, your favourite TV show. Play a computer game. My usual release is to write fanfiction where I completely screw up Trunks' life or work on my own litte project 'Dragonstar' where I get to immerse myself in my own little universe and BECOME, my coolest character to date.

Oh, some advice, don't yell at anyone, they'll tell you to calm down like your troubles are insignificant and then you WILL get stressed.
DON'T kick door or headbutt walls. Apart from the fact that it hurts (a lot) it could also get you into a lot of trouble at school/college.

If all else fails, find a corner and CRY, stand in the middle of your room and YELL REALLY LOUD (when everyone's out)

Watch comedy, I recommend (If you're in England) Red Dwarf, Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, and The Legue Of Gentlemen. Are you Local..? (scarily accurate) If none of that works, watch the news and think 'it could be worse.' Trust me, it could. :D

As for work, take a break eat some chocolate, the nuber of times I've been in college, the Mac I'm using keeps crashing, some goons' blaring out music, I haven't got a clue what to do, my tutor says, 'put it in your evaluation' instead of giving me technical help, the deadline's two days away, everyone else just finds my stress funny, my boyfreind doesn't like my freinds. Need I go on..? Just take a break, go for a walk, a VERY LONG one. It works.

I'm never stressed out. My motto is go with the flow. I never really care about anything especially school and work. I try not to think about that stuff. Stress is a good thing that makes you strive to be great but it will also kill you when you do finally do become great. So take it easy and enjoy life like me.

I heard somewhere that milk calms you down. It has something in it.

So I recommend you grab a carton of milk, have a few glasses and then punch the **** out of a boxing bag!

Well to make me not stressed anymore, I usually play video games, listen to music, or use any other electronics. Of course, drawing is another way to relieve my stress.
I have this problem about every day. I am usually stressed about school and homework. My friends they don't really get me stressed a lot. But doing hobbies will make you feel better.

Do something REALLY stupid (its much better to do with mates) like go to a crowded shopping centre, all look at a place on the ceiling and see how many people are gullible enough to come stand with you and look up as well. CKY or Jackass has some great ideas that you could slightly modify and do. I find just doing something stupid and having a laugh with some mates helps to get rid of stress easily.

If I go out with my friends or listen to music, it helps but dosn't come close to solving the problem. Also my confort food is Chocolate ice cream...i've been like living off it latley...

I've got crap up my hole as well, bud. I've got bills to pay, bad checks to finish paying off, getting through the rest of my semester in College, and putting up with arguments not only with my girlfriend, but my parents as well.

Mark, there are tons more people whove got it worse than you, and trust me, it's true.

Listen up bud, just sit, relax and try and focus on the goods, but not the bads. The more you stress, the more it hurts, and I know, it ******** hurts, dude.

I care about this problem with you bud, so just stay calm, and do your business with ease. Don't push yourself, because it hurts, too. Remember, thousand upson thousand of people have worse problems than you do, alright bud?

Just stick through it, You'll manage.

stress is just a part of life. everyone goes through it. like right now, i have so much stuff to do, and so little time, i wish i had a clock i could just stop time with. finding a college is hard work! but usually, what i do is a either talk to my friends, who usually help me out with my problems, or i lay down on my bed, and put my favorite cd in, and just think about how i can deal with it. I try not to let my problems chech up to me, but if they do, i just deal with them, i never put them off.
