Including me, and I have no problem with it. I won't be surprised in high school either if teachers cuss or not, I'll find it pretty funny to see if my teacher does. In my middle school, there's a dance magnet in school you take during school if you signed up for the magnet. The dance teacher cusses, and at lunch the other day, I yelled out the f word and she didn't even turn to look at me. What a relief... Cuss words...get used to it. And letters are only smudges and lines and symbols that form a whole that means something in its diction. That is all words are. Nothing more or less. Like God, without faith in them, and belief, then they mean nothing. Just as someone who speaks a different language and speaks to us. Looking to that, what is so bad about "swear" words? They are fundamentally just symbols and vowels and stresses invoked by a voice box that form the driveled something the insults people on a societal level. You notice that uninhibitioned, many people will swear. And they do not care. You need to be exteremly, orthodoxily sensitive to everything that hits you. Otherwise you end up being insensitive, and stupid and ignorant. I know that people curse, some people to such excess it's ridiculous, and that I can't do it anything about it, so why worry? It's that person's choice, not yours. If someone curses to excess, usually my respect for them is lowered, simply because they could not find a more descriptive and less rude words to use. But I don't care if they use them rather often. Many times, it will make a joke that much more hilarious. And other times, you do things that make you go ****! right afterwards. No big deal. However, I wouldn't advise using them obsessively or just to 'be cool.' That's pathetic and ridiculous. And as for poetic license...yea man. Curse all you want. Many times it makes the song/poem that much more intense. One of my teachers, my German teacher to be exact, was giving us a lesson. He gave us a piece of paper and told us to fill in the missing parts of the sentences. So we did. But, there was one sentence that said "Herr Held ist..." or "Mr.Held is..." and somekids put stupid (am I aloud to post that?) but my friend put something that meant "idiothead" while he wanted "stupid". And my teacher said "That doesn't mean 'stupid'. Idiothead" then he said "I mean, that MEANS idiothead". It sounded like he called my friend an idiothead though, it was pretty funny. That was when I was in Elementary school. I was so shocked. Now that I'm in high school it's like, whatever. The teachers curse at the students and the students curse at them. Elk Posted January 7, 2004 Author Share Posted January 7, 2004 My computer wasn't working so I wasn't able to clear this up after it started. I am not offened by people saying bad words. I usally write/say bad words and theacher are humans and of course the get pissed off every once and awhile and start cusing. everyone gets pissed off every once and awhile so you ether take out your anger by kicking and punching something (or for some of us someone) or by swearing and cursing. ether way you are going to cuse some time. And 5th/6th grade teachers cussing isn't something kids should be introduced to. Students can deal with whatever the hell teachers say in high school, but teachers that cuss in elementary schools shouldn't be allowed. Kids today are using too many cuss words as it is. superfreak07 Posted January 8, 2004 Share Posted January 8, 2004 My third grade teacher was in a bad mood one day, and cussed at about 5 of the kids there. The kids had been trouble that day but to make it worse, after recess we came in and sat on the floor in the front of the room. This pissed her off.
