Gentle
Has anyone ever had those moments when you forget how to spell something really simple? When I was in elementary school, I forgot how to spell "if" twice and once I forgot how to spell "a." I sit there trying to figure it out and I yelled out and asked if anyone knew how to spell it. Everyone stared at me and then as soon as I asked I remembered. I felt embarassed and stupid after that. It's a good thing the teacher had left. In middle school. I forgot how to spell "and." I kept quiet that time. Then we had a test and I forgot what a adverb was. It took me almost 20 min. to finish at test with 7 questions. A story the class read out of out literature book we had a test on that too. I forgot the name of the main character and got a "F.' Most of the questions involved putting his name. That took out 12 min with only 5 questions.
Otogi-san
I didn't have that exact thing happen to me, but one time I forgot what the parenthesis were called for a whole month. (parenthesis) o_o
Kanariya
Forgot how to spell "and?" ...... I forgot how to spell apple, orange, and for some reason every other stinking fruit on the Earth. Huh...I think I suffer from short term memory loss. Or I just REALLY have bad memory. Also I forgot how to spell important and spelled "impotent." My sister says that all the time... LostProphet
You aren't the only person, and I've had worse..... I work at Papa Johns, and I forget what to put on the pizza. Whats worse is it's during a rush, and my boss gets seriously PO'd at me.....thank god for creditability, or I would've been long gone.
Annie
Heh, I could swear that I am dislecsate I always get letters mixed up and words mixed up. Like today in school, I was talking to a friend of mine about Sleepy Hallow and I kept saying "Headsman Horseless" I felt so dumb. Here I am 18, a senior in high school and I can't even get my words and letters right. I also forget to do things when I remind myself thousands of times. I could be thinking to do something but when I go to do it, it disappears into thin air. It irritates me, especially when I am an Executive Officer in JROTC. I need to find a way to start remembering things...
Baron Samedi
Eh. In year 5 I forgot how to spell "who". Eh. Other things like that. But mainly, I forget stuff like maths formula etc. My retention for some things is great. And for some it's like I never even knew it. I wish my retention was better. there have been numerous other cases, but [ironically] nothing I can remember right now. Hah. Speaking of forgetfulness, I can't remember any cases. Hah. That's sad. Eh.
Artemis
Everyone tells me that I'm really responsible, but I'm actually very forgetful and disorganized. I'm always forgetting to take care of things. I think I'm getting ink poisoning in my left hand from all the notes I've written to myself on it. yeah...it's kinda sad... *sniff* ~art~
TheShinje
I was always forgetting how to spell "wich" "which" "witch" and was always confusing myself up with that one, soemtimes, I still do. It's wierd to be the top speller in your class, and be able to missspell such an easy word. (I was 16 year old level speller at 12) and now, it's a case of embarrassing typos, I try not to, but sometimes, when proof reading my posts, I can still overlook them. I know how to spell them, but I seem to just type nda instead of and!
