Kayla was happy for the two, this was a good thing, a great thing. Mai and Legato could finally be together as a family, they could live happily now.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=1][color=#483d8b]She continued watching Mai and Legato, rejoicing over their new-found happiness, while in the shadows, lurked a hidden danger. A Gung-Ho-Gun was silently watching in shadows of the Hotel, waiting for the perfect oppurtunity to strike.[/color][/size][/font]

He asked, hiding his tears from the rest of the group. Mai smiled and nodded. Legato got up, wiping his face, and started to walk back with Mai.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Comic Sans MS][size=1][color=#008080]Mai smiled at her friends. "This is my older brother, Legato." She said. After an awkward silence, Kayla was the first to speak. "Umm...Hi!" She greeted, slightly cheerfully and slightly nervously. Mai laughed, but her happiness was soon faded by a gunshot.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Comic Sans MS][size=1][color=#008080]Everyone heard a loud thump as somebody fell to the ground. Sarah had blocked a bullet from hitting Mai and it repelled off of her sword. It had hit the second Gung-Ho-Gun, Dominique the Cyclops. Mai stared a moment and looked at Sarah. "Thanks. A lot. I don't know how many times you've saved me." She said.[/color][/size][/font]

"You two...are insane..." He said laughing. Kayla and Mai glared at him, forgetting their fight. "Us insane? That's preposterous! If anyone's insane its you or Vash!" They said. Mai looked at her strangely before smiling and chowing down on the untouched food that covered Kayla's plate. [i]I wasn't all that hungry anyway...[/i]she thought to herself as Mai ate everything that was left on Kayla's plate, which was a lot, considering Kayla hadn't been all that hungry.[/color][/size][/font]

She knew that Legato had said that he was on the good side now, but, you can never trust a man who's been evil all his life... Kayla turned away from Legato's stare at looked around the room. She didn't see anything out of the usual and eventually turned back towards Legato who continued his stare at her. [i]He's still staring at me...[/i]she thought to herself, forgetting for two seconds that Legato and everyone else would be able to read her mind at any moment.[/color][/size][/font]

"Maybe I should start with the one about when you first moved in with me. That's one's pretty good." She said. Mai covered Kayla's mouth. "Shut up before I go evil on you. Cruelty runs in the family, may I tell you!" Mai hissed. Kayla went wide eyed as Mai slowly reached for her gun.[/color][/size][/font]
