Okay, in this rpg you must have either played the game or did alot of research on the story and characters. If not, then you're out because I don't want some dude who wants to make Locke Cole into Cloud Strife. [i][b]That ain't happenin'[/i][/b]. People who did this get so annoying so quickly! Doncha know?

Okay, so this is basically a Final Fantasy VI RPG. Whether it sets place in the beginning of the game, during the world of ruin, or after the end of the game, I'll have to talk to the people who play the characters about that. I'm not sure what I want to do right now. Oh, and if you're going to play as one of the characters, I expect the Japanese name.

For example, instead of saying "Terra," we'll stick to the Japanese and say "Tina". And with Lock, I don't care if you add the "e" to the end of his name, that's up to you the player. And the name Shadow is so annoying so we'll be using the name "Kage."

If you feel that "Cyanne" is a too girly spelling for our dear knight, then you may call him "Cyan," I don't care.

There can be humour in this rpg but do keep it serious and on topic please.

When the characters are filled in we will decide what time period we want this to take place in(if we have a Cefca or Emperor then it'll take place either in the World of Balance or World of Ruin), and if it's after Cefca's defeat then there will be more character openings.
The openings I have created are original characters. Now, the rule on original characters is that the only original characters there should be in this rp is if there's an eldest child in Mobliz(after the world of ruin), a moogle/chocobo, Aria(Maria), or if you send me your profile via Private Message then I might take in consideration.

Now the entire deal about being related to one of the characters like Locke or Tina(she doesn't seem to have relatives) or someone who knew Kage, ect. just gets annoying sometimes(so the characters I create will only be related to Tina, for now). Now about having a cameo character like Ultros to show up for comedy then I think it's alright. But I don't want anything funny that would distract the story-line or anything like that. Instant comedy is okay, as long as it is under consent with the person who's character will be spoofed/butt of the joke.

The original character deal with being related to another character(like a cousin of Mash or Edgar's) has to have an extremely good background and it has to really go with the story. In other words it has to really [i]impress[/i] me if it's to be permitted. I know this is rather strict but I just would really like this to go well.

Now for signing up, you know the drill(pictures on your bio/profile are optional).

The date I expect to get all the profiles/characters in are by November 8, 2003. If there aren't enough characters by then, it'll be extended until the 15th.

The RPG should start around the 13th, but if not the 21st. We still need to work out what time period this rpg is going to be in.

Ah hell, forget it. At the end of your profile put in [b]bold[/b] which time period you think the rpg should be in(your own opinion) like so:

Bio: Celes Chere was born in Vector and was raised by Cid and Emperor Ghestal. When she was very young she was infused with an Esper(something like an Aeon) and was gifted in Magic thanks to the latest in Magitek Technology. Without a mother in her life she may seem to be cold or unemotional at times, though this changes after she meets Locke and during her place in the Opera, where she learns what feelings really are. She rebelled against the Empire when she became of age and joined the Returners, an Orginization that is against the Empire. Celes atfirst has a bad reputation with the Returners because of the burnings in Maranda and the poisoning of Doma.

After Cefca(Kefka) moved the statues and placed the World of Balance into a World of Ruin, Celes, as well as the others, fall off the airship and scatter across the globe. She woke up a year later with Cid on a solitare island. After Cid dies she then gives up hope in there being any other people out there in the world and decides to climb a cliff and commit suicide, as the others did before Cid. Instead of dying, she was washed back up on shore and was awoken by a pigeon. Rejecting it's attention atfirst, she later realizes that it had Locke's bandana. Gaining hope, she takes the raft Cid had made for her and sets out on her journey into the world.

Personality: Celes is a rather strong woman, who sometimes doesn't even act like a woman at all! She is very focused and tends to show little emotion. That is, until she meets Locke. Usually she takes some things the party says the wrong way and gives back a cold remark or two. She doesn't really have much of a friendship with the others but she does seem rather close to Locke and seems a little heartbroken when she discovers that Locke already had a love, Rachel/Raechel(sp?). She doesn't really have friends either. When she first met Locke was the first time she ever felt someone having compassion for her, ever wanting to be her 'friend.'

Though she doesn't spend her time frolicking around and searching for 'love' as Tina/Terra does, she has a better mission to accomplish. She gives up easily but usually finds a new reason to go on. And for some odd reason she seems to be very attached to Locke..

Okay--nevermind--that was totally off topic.

Okay, no monkey business. No Final Fantasy or Anime [b]Crossover Characters[/b]. No original characters(unless you impress me with your idea through PM). And finally, let's make this a little serious. I appreciate occasional comedy(like Ultros for example) but let's be mature.

I don't care if you manipulate other people's characters, as long is it's okay with the owner, and you don't manipulate their character to make decisions or other things that will definitely change the course of the story-line. I don't care if we reeve off course, just don't do it using someone else's character.
