My Barbies were shoeless homeless things who sometimes drove my mom's shoes around my bedroom. The closest they ever came to home was a carrying case. Well...except for the time I brought them to my friend's house, but that didn't last long. Hey, how much does it date me if I said I pretended that my She-ra and Jem dolls would also become involved with the Barbies?

I loved my Barbies. I took good care of them most of the time. Once my cousin came over and I left him alone in my room. He was 16 I think and he gave my Barbies a haircut with my safety scissors. There was hair everywhere on my desk and I got so mad at him. My mom had thought I did it and she put me on punishment. Very not fair.

But the times I played with them which was always I always said the words in my head since I had a very big mouth you could hear me on the other side of the house. I always said what my Barbies said in my head. I was so quiet then my brother came in and I would just start screaming and he got banned from my room. He came in again and I did the same thing. My mom would yelll at him to leave because I was so quiet. When he did come in I shoved my dolls under the bed because I was making them do certain things. That's why I was so quiet. I had love traingles, mother and daughter relationships, and perverted boys. I had one skit when 4 Kens and 4 Barbies went on a camping trip. I had a bed for them and when you flipped it over it was a pool/tub thing. The girls were in the woods taking a bath so they had no clothes on and the boys just happened to wander in.

I was always nice to mine even though Ken's head would pop off sometimes. I found out how to get it back on. Then all the guys had either a string necklace or braclet that I made them wear so they had their own little club going on. The 15 I always used are in a dresser drawer on one side of my room. I play with them now sometimes......but the other 34 or so were in a white basket in my closet until my mom threw them away this summer. I was so sad I had a ceremony. I have issues.

Ever since I was a about 3 or 4 years old, I had alot of Barbies in my bed, closet, and in a big chest. Unfortunatly, some of them had no heads. I use to sleep with a headless Barbie at my side; and it didn't scare me. When years passed, I've benn collecting Holiday Barbie Collections; from 1997 to this year. I can't wait for the new Holiday Barbie.

Well I can say I almost never played with barbies. I only have had three barbies in my lifetime and but even then I didn't have them all at the same time.

My mom got me my first barbie when I was around four but I never played with it(Why play with that puny thing when you've got a stuffed Raggedy Ann doll bigger that you?) so she gave it away.

Then when I was seven she got me and my new little sister one each and I started playing with it sometimes, it usually was a hiker that hiked around the house met up with my sister's doll and then become best friends and hike around together. Or they'd own a circus or a pet shop, or they would both be mothers with two lego kids. (none of those lego people today but real people made out lego blocks that had faces drawn on them with sharpie...)

Then the third one I got I almost never have played with, I don't know why I just like the one with the hair cut off better, probably because I was and still am a tomboy.

Anywho.... that's about all I did with my barbies, I never let them get hurt and never made them make out or anything I don't even think I had one kiss each other, even when I cut off one's hair and pretended it was a boy....

Those bring back some good memories. I remember I use to pull the heads off and throw them at my sister. She used to like to play with my GI Joes and have them marry her Barbies and stuff. I kept telling her to stop playing with them like that but she kept right on so I had to stop them by pulling off there heads.

That's a big collection. Do you collect Holiday Barbies too? If so, which one's your favorite? Also, I collect a special barbie that represents my favorite show. It's called the "I Love Lucy Vitameatavegamin Girl."I had it since 1998; and it's one of my favorite Lucy episode. ;) :p

Well, when i was a little girl, i like barbies and i mostly play with it.

The best time that me and my barbie had was when we when my dad bought me this barbie doll house. I have a 3 barbie, kelly, and ken. I was playing barbies with my cousin.
We would make the dolls get married, have children, do life stuffs and well, make the dolls make out and do things, that i don't want to talk about. Me and my cousin sometimes make the dolls go in a fantasy journey, make them have magical powers and all that fantasy stuffs.
It was kool. although the plays that we do with the dolls are evil. ^_^;;

I just remembered I still have one Barbie. The first in the series of Native American Barbie. It's the last present that both my grandma and grandpa gave to me since he dies right after christmas '93.
OF course, I was 12 at the time and she doesn't have her shoes anymore. But when I'm back at my parent's house I still brush her hair to get the dust out of it.
I think I'm probably going to begin collecting Holiday Barbies or something of the like.

Some of you guys need help, seriously. Don't worry, I did it to. I put them in the microwave and I played with fireworks with them. Once, I put like tons of firecrackers in an industrial bucket and put a barbie in. I got a police warning and Im not allowed to set off fireworks now :(. Yeah, I was kinda mean to my barbie, but who isn't? just to say, I also set a 'troll' on fire with a can of spraypaint and a match :devil:

Never played with barbies ever. Only stabbed, burned, cracked, ate, and dismembered. Ah fun times. My grandma used to have old toys from my cousins. So I would find barbie dolls. I'd throw them against walls, stuck them in my mouth a few times to see what they tasted like too.

And they burn well. Almost set myself on fire.

If I ever get another barbie doll, I have great, fresh ideas for them.

Ahh Barbies *smirks* such joyous creations O_o

Im pretty much the same as everyone when I say my barbies shared many an intimate moment with the Ken dolls *twitches and grins* However, i also liked to subject my barbies to various methods of torture ^__^

I used to drown, cook in the oven and drop my Barbies from heights just to see what would happen O_o I was constantly getting into trouble with my mum because of it.
I remember once i tried to give one of my Barbies a hair cut and i wanted her to have this really stylish looking bob-so i hacked at her hair hoping for this glamorous finished product..and what i got was a heap of hair that stuck up like she'd be electrified O_O! They really should come with a warning for hair cutting.
So I started screaming and in my rage i ripped off the barbies head..and when i couldn't attach it again i got more frustrated. So i grabbed some red finger paint and smeared it over her neck *cackles*
I then proceeded to pretend my Barbie was a human sacrifice for some random society O___O..

What does this say about my childhood..Kami-sama i was straaaaange @__@

I'm just now recalling another Barbie incident-or three, hey, who can count at 0210?:sleep:
Anyways, I used to have one of those little Tykes kitchens complete with the oven and my brother would throw my Barbies in there (along with Jem and the Holograms:D) and say he was making Barbie casserole. He'd even throw in the plastic veggies and the plastic can of chop suey to complete the meal:rotflmao:
Another fun game that my friends and I would occasionally play was Barbie Donner Party. We'd take them out in the winter, have them hike around (it was especially amusing when we put them in their bathing suits to do this)then slowly kill them off. Once they ended up having to eat Raphael who just happened to make excellent turtle soup:laugh:
I also remember painting my Barbies with nailpolish so they could have bras and panties. My mom was less than thrilled with that accomplishment.:nervous:

Barbies! *gets all blushy and girly feeling, her eyes getting really wide as she remembers* When I was little, I had so many Barbies that I could have started my own store. I loved every single one of them, too. My favorite Barbie was an Indian Princess special edition one. She was so pretty, and she kind of looked like my mom (who's a full-blooded Ojibwae Native). I practically worshipped that Barbie, and I still have it.

I used to get together with my cousin (who was a guy, and my bestes friend until I was 9) and we'd play with the Barbies, and give them make-overs, too. That was my favorite thing to do. ^_^ I'd cut their hair, wash it, and use nailpolish and lipstick on them. But to get it all accurate, I'd use a toothpick to apply it all.

And one day me and my cousin were being taken out to a garage sale with our OTHER cousin... and we found the greatest thing ever: a Barbie house! It was kind of a crappy quality, but we loved it anyway. It was a bunch of plastic beams, and the walls and floors and roof was all a thin cardboard that was painted to look like an actual house. I remember he and the other cousin stayed over for that week-end, and all we did was play with it and watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. o_O;

Although as I got older, I started gradually doing 'other' things with the Barbies and the Kens. >.>; But I mean... who doesn't do that, right?

Heh, heh, heh. Barbies rock.
