Brant sat in his seat on the Enforcement transport ship called the "Constitution" he had to smirk, anything that was related to the law was named after something dumb, like the "Enforcer" or the "Constitution" these things were trivial and boring, but heck Brant was getting to see Mars! That was all he cared about, he reached for his knapsack and went over his supplies. He had a cloak, extra clothes, and the other necessities. Just as he pulled his cloak out of his knapsack the pilot came over the intercom.

"Please re-fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing on Mars." With that Brant slipped on his cloak and then slid his seatbelt back over his waist and the ship descended belly first into the atmosphere. As it finished passing through the last layer Brant looked out the window and saw the landscapes of Mars beneath him, he took his attention away from the window and caught a glimpse of one of the other officers, her name was Brandons, she looked pretty athletic and rather happy about coming to Mars.

As soon as the ship had landed Brant had pulled his cloak's hood over his face, making sure to cover his eyes from the sun, he needed to adapt to the light, it may be made to look like Earth but it was somewhat dimmer, but the terraforming also had included rearranging the atmosphere to an extent. He'd been given the option to ride with the others to Oupost XIII or take a hover bike and head there himself, he's chosen the bike. While he was walking away from the rest of the squadron he saw a rather attractive woman standing near the exit to the landing pad building, Brant of course following his stupid horny instincts walked over to her while pulling off his hood, he then placed his arms above her shoulders and then pressed his body up next to hers and started to whisper.

"Hey cutie, I just got here, wanna show me what its like here? You know, give me a fun ride?" As he said this he reached down to grope her breast, as he did so she moved away from the wall and he found himself getting pressed against the wall and the girl reaching for his collar, as she did so he found himself looking into a pair of dead-serious eyes.

"If you ever do that to me again I swear to god I'll cut your dick off you bastard." With that she shoved Brant against the white stone wall and walked off, leaving a rather preturbed Brant.

She sauntered away, boots tapping smoothly against the cold stone floor. It was an extremely sexy sound to him, having been off on his own for so long. Just the way she moved her body....visible through her very tight pants.....was tantalizing. Her calves were toned and muscled, but not heavily so, her hips wide and firm, but not plump, and her hair brushed her lower back silkily. He blinked several times before she turned a corner. As he did, he caught the glint of something silver in her hair and he rubbed his eyes.

Then she was gone. While he recovered, another worker came up to him.

"So...you met our resident security officer."

"What?!?"

"Yeah, that's Officer Megelani. ...she's one tough bîtch to crack."

He quietly absorbed this new piece of information, while Satell climbed the stairs to survey the incoming colonists and laborers. While the newcomer didn't offend her, he did make her wonder just what Earth was bringing over to her world. ......ah well, enough of that.

Brant was still recovering from discovering that the woman he'd just hit on was in fact the security officer. Brant swallowed his embarrassment and proceeded to the hangar that had the hover bikes, as he climbed onto one that caught his eye he beat his head on the bike, he'd just hit on the security officer. "Oi ve, what a day!" he thought to himself as he started up the bike and zipped out of the hangar and off towards Outpost XIII.

The scenery blazed by in a array of blurred colors and it for some reason calmed Brant down, his cloak fluttered around him, within three hours Brant found himself coming to a halt outside of Oupost XIII, the hoverbike obviously was able to cover at least 1,000 miles in a short amount of time which was a very good thing.

Brant walked into the local enforcement office and deposited his knapsack and walked out, his belt jangling with the sound of his pistols his white clothes seemed a little out of place in such a desolate looking place. As he walked by the local tavern a person came flying out of the window and crashed into the ground, rolling around for a few moments he then fell unconscious. Brant smirked and walked into the tavern, just to case out the main place for crime. It looked pre-modern, but some of the things were modern. A few older men watched Brant with wary eyes, mainly their eyes were trained on his guns seeing as how he had them within arm reach. The bartender sprung up from behind the bar with a little pep he spoke.

"What can I do for ya son?"

"Coffee, black." The bartender looked at Brant unsure but pulled out a hot pot and poured in the liquid and slid the mug over to him. While Brant was enjoying the only caffinated drink he ever had ever since Highschool a shady looking goon, with beady black eyes, dark brown hair, and a rather hulking physice stalked up behind Brant and whirled him around rather forcefully.

"Who the fuck do you think you are!?! Some dammned jerk from Earth who can come here and tell us what to do!?" Brant thought about this for a moment and then with a sarcastic grin looked at the man.

"Yup you son of a bitch, I'm here to tell you what to do!" Just as he finished this the man took his huge fist and knocked Brant right off the stool he was sitting on and onto the floor, Brant stood up and wiping some blood from the corner of his mouth with his glove grinned.

"So its a fight you want eh big guy?! Well come on!" With this the behemoth of the man charged except Brant had slipped behind him and brought his fist down on the man's neck, this sent him falling face first but he got back up and was laughing like a maniac, he then drew out a rather large Plasma Shotgun, cocked and aimed at Brant.

"So its guns you want to play with, well let's go then!" The man fired off a large round which would have killed Brant on the dot had he been standing there, but when the dust cleared everyone was looking for human remains but there were none, just then everyone looked behind the man and just as he did he found himself looking down the barrel of both of Brant's guns.

"Now, you can either come peacefully or I can haul your sorry ass out of here in a body bag, the choice is yours." The man grunted and reached down for Brant's throat but he was soon reeling backwards seeing as how he just took two shots in the gut, except he wasn't dead, Bran twirled the guns around and holstered them. He walked over to the knocked out man, grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and dragged him out.

"You're lucky, I set the gun to stun."

The voice behind him stopped Brant short. The click of heels had come before he had had time to blink.

"And you're lucky I'm not going to knock you out too."

He whirled around, to find her daggar at his throat. Both hands shot up and she planted her foot on the chest of the knocked out man and growled out the next words as he woke up. The man tried to move, but felt the boot slide down to his throat. Not only was the security officer's eyes blazing silver, she also looked seriously pissed.

"....fighting over what?"

"....That son of a bitch came up and started ordering us around!!! You gotta believe me Satell!"

"That's Officer Megelani to you."

Her voice chilled them both, and the way her hand was resting on the hilt of her bloodsword was even more frightening. Her eyes were snapping with energy and Brant was starting to break into a cold sweat. She glared at them both, then took her foot off the fallen man's chest and stepped back, keeping her daggar in hand.

"You shove off. And no more fighting."

Her warning echoed in their ears. Brant stood still, waiting for the other to depart. And he did quickly. Then her eyes turned to Brant.

Alexandra looked around before she got out of the "Constitution". She saw that no one was looking her way and so she grabbed her long black cloak and wore it over her so that it hid her swords. She stepped out of the ship and walked over to the vehicles. She smirked and kept walking. As she did, she took in the sight of Mars. She stopped for a moment and looked back at the vehicles. She needed transportation and the only transportation there was, were the vehicles that Alexandra had passed. A thought came to her mind.

Walking back to the vehicles, Alexandra looked over each one and found a nice jet black hover bike. She walked to it and hopped on. She hooded herself and stared the bike up. The sweet sound of the engine flooded Alexandra's head with memories. She then went off with the bike.

Flying past the buildings, she soon passed a tavern. Glass shattered on the ground, she slowed down and thought she could use a drink. She parked the bike nearby and got off. She walked up the stairs that led to the Tavern and entered it. It was filled with noise. It looked like one of the pre-modern taverns, but with some moderations. She looked around and found the bar. She walked up to it and sat in the chair. The bartender came up to her.

"What do you want?" The bartender said with tone of fake hospitality.
"Seems like someone had a bad day. I'll have a Margarita." Alexandra replied.
"We got different flavors. Lime, Kiwi, Strawberry, Melon, Orange, Raspberry, Lemon, and Cinnamon." The bartender had told Alexandra.
"I'll have a mix of Kiwi and Lime." Alexandra replied.
"Coming right up." The Bartender turned to make her drink.

Sitting patiently for her drink, Alexandra looked around the Tavern. She then spotted a Law Enforcement Official known as Zarian. He tried to lock her up 4 years ago. She looked to the other two. A female official that obviously lived on Mars and a tall man dressed in white. She smirked at this scene and noticed that the woman did not appreciate those who did not live on the earth.

The Bartender brought her drink. She smiled at him and received it. She thanked him and payed him. She sat there looking at the three people. It seemed that the female was serious and cool, while the male in white was more casual, and Zarian was quiet and calm. Alexandra finished her drink and studied the figures. They were intruiging.

Zarian smirked as he walked across the foreign world. It was beautiful like he thought, covered with tales untold. Untill now, Zarian smiled and he knew that HE would be the one to tell this tales.

He continued walking taking in everything, even the smell of the place. This would for sure be a nice adventure that he could tell everyone. He ducked against a hill as he saw two men and a girl. The girl stood with her foot on the largest man's chest seemingly poised to attack. Zarian rubbed his sniper rifle softly. The cool metal resting against his back seemed to relax him.

He stood up slowly as he saw the situation relaxing. He stood up and brushed himself off walking towards the group. He recognized the girl to be of law enforcement. He figured as well that atleast one of the men was of law enforcement too.

He smiled and walked up towards them. As he arrived he smiled and waved.

"Hey- my name is Zarian, I don't suppose any of you would know were the head of law enforcement is located in this town."

He smiled agian showing his ignorance to the violent world that was soon to envelop him

Brant looked up at the new arrival, he wore a white trenchcoat with red cuffs, his eyes sparked with inoccence and determination, he was obviously happy to be here, Brant guessed he must have had that glint in his eyes when he'd arrived here on Mars. As he walked closer Brant noticed the large energy Sniper Rifle, it was the latest model and was very high-tech, both Brant and Satell walked over to Zarian.

"Hi, I'm Brant, I just arrived here too from Earth." Brant said as he extended a white gloved hand, he then thumbed towards Satell. "She's Satell, don't try hitting on her, she'll cut ya up like mincemeat." Zarian gulped a little and chuckled and Brant found himself chuckling too at the joke, Satell just glared a little.

"Oh come on Satell, loosen up." Brant said as he walked over towards her, but Satell chose to shoot him a poisionous look, which made Brant back away slowly. He then turned back to Zarian.

"Anyways, to answer your question, I have no idea who the head enforcement officer is." Zarian nodded and the three of them headed towards the enforcement office.

Zarian studied both of his new companions slowly. With more than passing interest he noticed the one called Satell. Her muscled relaxed and tensed seeming as if dancing to their own song. Zarian watched as her body moved in total coordination with itself each movement complimenting the last and giving birth to the next. However beuatiful Satell was what captured Zarian's attention was her eyes. They burned with an intense fire making even Zarian's optimistic attitude waver slightly. It seemed her eyes alone could tame this wild world.

Zarian then looked at his other companion. Brant. A fluid form enhanced by the tone of his own muscles. His muscles responding to each other. His hair tickling the back of his neck flowing freely as if it contained its own life. His blue eyes were equally amazing. Cool and icy. The icy gleam of Brants eyes sent chills up Zarian's spine. Yet even through the icy gleam there was a youthful fire, a determination showing that he wasn't to be stopped.

He smiled again thoughtfully happily content with what had befallen upon him. He studied the two again as they walked knowing that each would some how find a way onto the paper that would transform this untamed land into reality. He would tell Erath how it was, he would show the beauty, the tears, the determination, and the adventures that this new outpost held with in its tiny doors.

His companions held all these passions as well, they were the essance of this strang area. He brushed his hair out of his face and continued to walk.

After studying the people, Alexandra turned to the bartender.

"Can you give me a bottle of Kahlua, Vodka, and Bailey Irish Cream?" Alexandra asked.

The Bartender reached for the bottles and handed them to her. She thanked him and left. As she walked, she caught eyes with the female official and kept walking. She then put the bottles into her bag and she kept walking to the vehicle. When she looked up, she saw Zarian. She bit her lower lip as she looked into his eyes.

Satell led the way into the enforcement office and the three of them took up various places in the office, Brant slumped down into a chair, Zarian slumped against the wall, and Satell walked into the head officer's office, but as soon as she walked in she walked back out with a look of disgust.

"The poor bastard's dead." Brant and Zarian both lept up from their relaxed positions, Brant not believing this bolted into the office and nearly puked at the gastly sight. There in the chair was the officer's upper torso, on the ground was his lower torso, which was in peices, and his head had been smashed, but not before the sickos had taken the access blood and written in large letters "DEATH TO THE LAW!!" Zarian peeked in and then walked out holding his hand over his mouth. Brant then stepped out rather shocked and dumfounded, he walked out in front of the office, slumped down into the dust and vomited twice, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief and whiped his mouth off but vomited again, this time as he finished Zarian walked out and squatted down next to him.

"You okay?" Zarian said with a caring tone, even his blue eyes had a caring glint in them too. Brant nodded and stood up and brushed off the dust, he then walked back into the office and looked at Satell.

"What do you suggest we do?"

"I already called the coroner. Can't get any easier."

"Well?"

"We sit back and wait, or we set a trap. Which do you prefer?"

Her deathly smile froze the both of them in place. Then she turned and filed another paper into the large cabinets behind the desk. Then she swept up and opened the door again for the forensics team. They took the body away bagged it, and performed a late night autopsy. In the meantime, Satell had another team of workers repaint the walls and doors, then cleanse them of blood.

"...simple."

"What about a trap?"

She turned her gaze over to Zaraian, who had recovered somewhat, as Brant had. They both shrugged, and she rolled both eyes. Without another word she slowly began removing the straps of her weaponry, setting each down in a pile on the floor. Then, she slid off all her bracelets, jewelry, and trappings. Both of their jaws were slowly descending to the floor.

Like her shirt and pants, and then her bra underneath.

"....sex works."

Zarian tried to ignore the naked body that was before him. Her breasts remained firm reminding the two companions of the youth that was left in the women. Her legs smooth running silently up to her pelvish tantalizing their viewer. Zarian couldn't believe what was beheld in front of him. The essance of beauty. He cooly reminded himself of what was at hand. The trap....

He looked over to Brant who had already begun to take off his clothes. Zarian studied Brant as well noticing the sleek yet firm set of his body. Finally Brant as well was completely stripped. Each body seemed to high light the either as if in some strang twist of fate they belonged to each other. The natural pull each body had on each other was amazing.

Zarian turned his eyes away knowing that he had to concentrate on the task at hand. He slowly took in a deep breath and walked cooly to the shadows of the corner. He crouched down with his pistol ready. He looked down at the strewn clothes. Brant might need a pistol he crept and slid Brant's pistol under the desk so it would be easy to grab simply by rolling off it.

Zarian looked at the two again and shook his head. The beauty beheld by both bodies excited even Zarian's innocent mind.

A shadowy figure stood outside of the town like outpost. Her long jacket flowed with the slight wind. She glanced around... the land was slightly dull. She rolled her crystal blue eyes that seemed to be changing into a dark grey color. She walked confidently and stepped right into the tavern where she took a seat in a shadey corner. Her jean had holes at the knees and their black color made her blend in with the shadows. Her black longe sleeve shirt was hidden under the long tan trench coat.

She glanced around the room...wondering what kind of characters were in this place... Apparently not much. Before she drew to much attention to herself she wandered back outside silently. Nothing much out there either.

"Hmph..."

Alexandra shook her head and got on the hover bike. She started it up again and thought of the day half of the people that she used to work with was arrested and locked up. She couldn't help but think that she was responsible.

"Could this day get any worse?" Alexandra said to herself.

And the day just got worse. She stopped abruptly when she saw a coroner's van make its way towards the law enforcement building. She shook her head once again and kept riding the bike. She soon stopped in front of a large building that resembled the modern day hotels back on Earth. She parked her bike nearby and got out and walked to the doors. She stepped through and was greeted by many people.

Making her way to the counter, she looked around. It looked strangely similar to most hotels. Alexandra soon walked up and stood in front of the counter. A worker looked to her.

"How may I help you, ma'am?" A friendly voice asked.
"I'd like a room to stay in." Alexandra replied.
"We have a suite, luxury, single, family, and double. Where would you like to stay?" The clerk asked.
"I'll stay in the luxury." Alexandrda replied.
"Alright. That'll be $379.00." The clerk said to Alexandra.
"Here. Keep the change." Alexandra said as she pulled out 4 $100 bills.

Alexandra grabbed the key and walked to the elevator. She looked to her key and it told of the floor and what room. It was one the 4th floor and it was in room 214. She got off and walked to her room. It was right near the elevator and in a convenient spot, for the bar was right nearby. She opened her door and walked in.

Closing the door, Alexandra took off her cloak and put her swords onto the bed. She also took her gloves off and placed them onto the nightstand that stood right next to the bed. She walked to the balcony and opened the curtains. She looked out and it was a beautiful sight. She grinned and walked to the bed. She reached into her cloak and grabbed the bottles that the bartender had given her. She walked to the refrigerator and saw that there were alcoholic beverages in there. She put the bottles in the fridge and close it. She looked around and thought she might call up her contact.

Alexandra walked to the bed once again and she took out a piece of paper. She grabbed the phone and started to dial in the number. It rang. Someone picked up.

"I was expecting you to see me." The voice had said.
"I've got a little jet lag. I'll come by tomorrow. What? You miss me?" Alexandra toyed with the person on the phone.
"Possibly. We shall see how much soon enough. You know, you never really were that much fun. Why was I interested in you again?" She asked the man.
"Because I have power, money, weapons, drugs, you name it. I was also going to make you my personal pet." He had answered.
"Right. I was going to be your bitch. I forgot about that. It's fun though. I get to tease you all night and all day and you can't do anything. Hmm." She had answered back.
"I shall see you tomorrow then. I will arrange for a car to pick you up. Until then." He had said as he gun up.

Alexandra hung up as well and looked at the phone. She sighed and looked around. It wasn't Earth, but at least she would try to have a new life.

"What am I getting myself into?" Alexandra asked herself. "First I take the hover bike, then I see Zarian, let's just hope that he didn't recognize me, and then I have to check in with Vincent. What's next? Someone trying to kill me? This day can't get any worse."

With that said, Alexandra layed down onto the bed and slipped into the silky, firm, fluffly covers. The pillow sunk in to match the shape of her head and it gave her comfort. She closed her eyes and started to drift into an comforting sleep.

The sex was just a ploy, a trap to get whoever it was that had killed the original head officer to show up...But yet, it was warm and comforting at the same time. He knew Zarian was in the same room, but this was part of the job, it was one of those "perks". "Perks my ass." Brant thought as he found himself on naked with Satell. He couldn't believe that he was actually doing this practically in public, he couldn't bring himself to his "full enjoyment." he basically just found himself groping and kissing, but Satell on the other hand was ready to go the whole nine yards and finally managed to get some actual sex out of Brant.

As this was going on Zarian sat in the corner, a little excited but comepletly focused on what was going on around him. After what seemed like forever to him he heard soft footsteps from the upstairs floor, and then the steps creeping down the stairwell, and then the door opened, and in walked the same guy that Satell and Brant had dealt with this morning. He pulled out a large stun gun, pointed it at both Satell and Brant and just before he fired he found himself crashing to the ground in pain, Zarian grinned happily as the man made a large thud, Brant and Satell both heard this. Bran rolled off the desk grabbed his pistol and pointed right at the man's face, Satell in the meantime was getting dressed.

"I don't think this is exactly the time..."

"Actually it is, we caught our murderer, he's down with a torn up leg, and his gun is clear over there." She pointed over to the other side of the room, Brant relaxed and then got dressed himself, and while this was happening Zarian slid out of the shadows like a ghost and gently kicked the guy over onto his stomach, cuffed his hands and dragged him into a cell.

While Zarian was gone Brant found himself still blushing a little from this bait and trap ploy. Satell somewhat sensed this and looked over with a smile and walked out with all of her clothes now on and her weapons back on as normal, leaving Brant somewhat naked and embarassed.

While he was getting dressed, Satell quietly redid her mussed hair. Not that she really cared, the sex was almost excellent....still needed a little work, but they'd have plenty of time to perfect that later. In the meantime, she ran the brush through, separated each strand and began rebraiding the miniscule locks of hair into separate strands, ending them with cowrie shells. When she finished that, Brant was dressed and decent once more. She came back in, and filed yet another paper she had written up after the sexual.....fufillment wasn't quite the right word.

He turned and saw her leaning over, readjusting the straps of her weaponry and boots. The blush came once more, not as strong as the first time.

"Are you embarassed by me?"

"N-no...not anymore."

"Good. I'll let you know, it's been a long timce since I've gotten any. You were a nice refreshment."

His mouth opened, and he was about to say something that would've probably made him look foolish, but she moved closer and put her arms around his neck.

Zarian dragged the man towards the single cell in the office. He smirked and threw the dangling body into the cell letting it bounce and roll until it hit the wall. Noting that no criminal would just have one gun Zarian walked in the cell himself and searched the man. After a few short moments there was a mound of about seven guns on the outside of the cell. Zarian walked out of the cell cooly and closed it. He smiled and leened against the other side.

"Not bad for the first day....You know I coulda sworn criminals were supposed to be smarter than this."

He chuckled and shook his head. It didn't matter to him, he stopped a murder. Satell's plan was perfect..ecspecially for Brant and her. He grimaced slightly at the thought of every day possibly being that torturouse. He sighed and shook his head. It didn't matter, he would have to sacrifice he knew this, and he had a job to complete.

He relaxed his muscles and slid down the wall slowly untill his body met the floor softly. Zarian's body stayed motionless as he went over the events of the day. Meeting the two companions and.....that other girl.

He realized that he saw another girl that cuaght his eye but his conciouse was too busy being ignorantly excited to notice the girl. He let his mind reply the scene many times. Letting his eyes go over the girls smooth legls and up her stomach. He smirked slightly as all this seemed familiar for some reasons. Then his mind revealed the face to him. His muscles tensed as he immediatly recognized who the girl was.

"Alexandra......"

He stood up and walked out back into the front office. He shook his head as he saw Satell's body pressed up against Brants. He walked passed them un notice and placed a note on the table.

"Hey-
I have some unfinished business to atend to, I should be back before the night is over. Have fun with out me. Brant you're having a hell of a day..

Sincerely,
Zarian"

After puting the note onto the table he quietly slipped out of the office and into the wild world beyound. he started walking to the first place he remembered seeing her, he started walking towards the tavern praying that if she was not there, then some information would be at hand.

"Damn, this is going to be one hell of an adventure..."

She still stood outside the tavern. She didnt get much attention inside but she got a few stares outside. She had been standing there for a long time and she was already getting odd looks. The wind tossed her waist long blonde hair around and it also made her trench coat whip around from time to time.

Suddenly a drunken man staggered out of the Tavern. She could smell him from twenty feet away. He reeked of sweat and booze which was potent enough to knock out a rino. She just stood there as he approched.

"Hey ba...baybeee Whatchaaaa doinnn out heree alllll alone?" He can hardly say

She just glared at him,"None of your drunken Buisness. Take your filthy, lazy, brainless carcass away from me before you find yourself hurt."

the mans face seemed to straignten up, "Now listen here! No woman talks to me like that... Do you know what i do to women when they disrespect my authority?"

She just rolled her eyes, "I couldent bare to guess" she replied sarcasticly

"Why you good for nothing Bi-"

"Itching to stay and chat but i have more important things to do... go sober up somewhere."She interupted

He glared and grabbed her arm tightly by the elbow only find himself on the ground in a split second with a blade to his throat. She stood over him with a stright serious face. The blade was cold and itched for blood... She kicked him put the sword away and walked off.

"Come near me again and ill chop you up and feed you to the buzzards." She then walks to the edge of the town and stares off into empty space... deep in thought. A huge storm of loneliness was always raging through her and she had learned to face the facts and ignore it. "Hmmmm" She let out a slight sigh

Zarian walked calmy and let the wind toy with his trench coat. Zarian felt at peace for some reason even despite the fact that just three hours before he had come onto this world to see a man's body mutilated. He sighed at the fact that humans could be so viciouse but knew it was inevidably in his line of..."Duty."

He smirked. Duty...was that what this was to him. A duty, a chore. Something that he was forced to do, something that was thrown at him with all knowing preconceptions that he, Zarian, would do it. Duty was the wrong world for the task at hand. It was an adventure, an adventure beyound adventures. It was good vs. evil, and it was his luck that he could participate in it. He continued walking letting that innocently ignorant statement soak into his conciouse.

Zarian brushed his hair out of his face while the wind flipped it around. Even his hair seemed to be hanging in between the balance of responsability and eagerness. He shook the thought out of his mind, this was no duty.

The wind around him changed furiously and now pushed on in front of him, as if pushing him towards his goal. He walked letting the wind take him. Letting the free spirit of this world guide him. Soon he saw a lone girl standing out side the town. He tilted his head curiously and continued to walk towards her.

"Perhaps she knows something about Alexandra..."

He smiled as the women noticed his presence. He kept his arms dangling freely trying to show that he wasn't going to attempt anything rash. As he got closer he stopped letting her eyes run over him, letting her size him up, and letting her make her own decision.

After a few moments Zarian spoke again, careful to keep his voice soft and acceptable.

"Hey! My name is Zarian Delves. My friends call me Knives! I was hoping you could help me....."

Zarian paused for a moment hoping to let the stranger absorb what he said and accept it as peaceful

"I'm looking for a girl by the name of Alexandra. She just arrived here....I was hoping perhaps you have seen her."

With that he took a couple steps towards the girl, and held out his hand. In his had there was a photograph. Zarian smiled.

"Thats her..."

She glanced at the photo... She took a deep breath as to smell the air. She silently stared the guy in the eyes. Her grey shaded eyes began to slightly change to a dark green. She pointed towards the hotel.

"There..." She simply said, then added, "And i know who you are."

With that she turned back around and seemed to back to her silence and thoughts. She listened and it seemed the guy had not moved... She took in a deep breath of the air again as if to smell it... Yup the guy was still standing there. She ignored all around her untill she heard a few footsteps behind her. She assumed he was leaving... so she relaxed her muscles and her grip on her sword handle.

Zarian took two steps then stopped again. He turned and looked at the mysteriouse girl once more. He cocked his head to the side and opened his mouth slightly. For some reason the words would not penetrate through his own thought process. He couldn't make a sound. He stood there confused a couple more moments then nodded realizing that she wished to be alone.

He hung his head and walked a couple more steps and turned around again.

"You know....you don't have to be alone....."

At the sound of his voice her muscles visibly tensed and he now saw that she was grasping her sword hilt once more. He understood the gesture. She in no way meant to respond. He sighed and nodded one last time and turned. Zarian walked, not looking back. He knew for some reason she would not attack him and he smiled slowly.

There was something mysteiouse about that girl, something that would change this world. His feet continued to move almost as if having their own mind. While Zarian's was off somewhere else thinking of the events of the day.

He tucked the photograph back into his trench coat and continued walking. He had to find Alexandra....he had to know why she was here, and...what side she was on.

His knuckles whitened as his hands clenched into a fist. Nothing would stop him, not even the mysteriouse girl behind him. He smiled knowing this.

Zarian walked. Walked on the surface of Mars, a stark reminder of the innocence of Earth. He walked among the hated, and hatred itself, and he continued to walk for he saught the only hope he had of surviving this world.

".....Alexandra...."

She had a slight smile on her face as she turnedher head slightly to make sure he was wandering off to find who ever she was. Sam thought about that comment he had made about being alone.

"You know nothing" She whispered quietly as the dark green of her eyes fadded back into grey. "I am what i am because i have to be." Her whisper floated away on the wings of the wind and was heard by no one but her own self... as she meant it to be.

She began to walk back behind one of the buildings. A jet black horse stood there... tied to the siding. She untied the horse which she had transported here before she arived. She easily pulled herself onto its back and rode about afourt of a mile out of town. Where she just stared at the strange land... She thought of how strange it was that she wasnt on earth anymore.

Alexandra a few hours later. It was still bright out, but it was getting windy. She sighed and uncovered the blanket that was on top of her. She walked to the swords and unsheathed them. She looked at the engravings that were on the blade of the swords. She sighed yet again and sheathed them. She grabbed her key and walked to the door of her room. She opened the door and left.

Walking down to the elevator, she saw that someone was drunk. She smirked and walked into the elevator and asked for the base floor, which was the first floor. She stepped out of the elevator and looked down to the floor. She walked to the counter and spoke to the clerk.

"If anyone is looking for me, direct them to the bar. Here is my key. I will be back possibly within more than 2 hours. Thank you." Alexandra said as she kept walking to the bar.

A few moments later, Zarian walked through the doors of the hotel. He walked up to the same clerk and stood there. When the clerk looked up to him, he pulled out a photograph.

"Hello. My name is Zarian Delves. I am wondering if you can tell me where this lady is." Zarian said as he showed her the photograph.
"Alexandra Donacelli? She is at the bar at this moment. If you wish to see her, she is in there." The clerk replied to Zarian.
"Thank you." He said to the clerk as he put the photograph back into his pocket and walked to the bar.

Alexandra sat there sipping her drink. She thought about the events that had played that day. She remembered taking the bike, going into the Tavern, seeing the two officials, and seeing...him. She smirked at the sight of him. With his white trenchcoat, dark ocean blue eyes, dark brown hair, and his beautiful smile that makes all the women melt. She smiled a little at the thought of his name. She remembered seeing him, but he does not see her. Or did he?

Sipping the last of her martini, she took the olive and twirled it around before sticking it into her mouth and eating it. She asked for another and she looked to the entrance of the bar and saw a man in a white trenchcoat. He saw her before she could look away. He had found her.

Brant stood still as Satell wrapped her arms around his neck and they kissed passionately for a few minutes and then Brant pulled away akwardly, rubbing his hair he turned silently and walked out of the officer's office..

"Do you know where I could find a place to sleep for the night?" Satell cleared her throat and spoke back from the doorway.

"Ya, the hotel just down the street, hell the owner will let you stay as long as you need." Brant nodded solomenly and walked towards the desk and saw a note sitting on the desk, he scimmed over it and chuckled at what Zarian had written. He then gathered up his knapsack and pulled his cloak about him tightly, as he stepped out into the brisk cold wind of the night, it was amazing how much this planet had been redone to look like Earth, but it wasn't, it was just a replica. As Brant neared the hotel he saw Zarian exit and head towards the bar, but Brant wasn't too keen on prying into Zarian's personal life so he headed into the hotel instead. Inside the clerk looked up from his vid game he was obviously playing, he then snapped to attention and grinned as he opened up his vacancy book.

"I'm looking for a room that I can stay in until I'm ready to move out." The clerk nodded and pulled up a hologram of the room

"The king's suite, has a kitchen and a dining room. Only for the price of $345 a night." Brant almost gagged on the price.

"Yeesh! I'm only a Law Enforcement officer, I really can't afford that much. I'll just..."

"Nononono!! I insist, the price just dropped to 50 bucks a night." Brant almost gagged on how much the guy had just dropped the price.

"Since you are a Law Enforcement officer and our town has needed some for quite awhile I'm sure we can drop the price down." The man said while smiling, Brant nodded and hauled his things up along with the key to the room.

Once he entered the room and flicked on the light Brant deposited his junk in the closest chair, peeled off his shirt, kicked off his shoes and dropped his pants and collapsed into bed and fell asleep.

In the meantime, Satell armed the security devices, for once, set the codes and locked up for the night. She didn't exit the office by the front door, where anyone could see her. Like....the psychos.

Instead, she took the tunnels to her own private rooms, which conected to the late security officers. Why? .....easy way to escape, right into her arms and into the armoury connected to her room. Perfection in the least. She stripped once more, this time to bare skin and then took a hot shower. Washing away skin grease, oils, built up over the period of two days of hard work. Once cleansed, she undid her locks, clipped them back out of the way and crawled into her bed.

The doors locked at her vocal command and she smiled inwardly. Security systems checked, night guards on active duty. Rotation in four hours straight.

"Ah....instant gratification."
