Hinata
Damnit, late again, and for my first day on the job, too. Shit. Me and my stupid shopping. A small figured woman rushed to a hover bike and quickly set everything up fo her trip. Although only a quick drive to her post. She knew that it would be weird for her to pul into the place over 12 hrs late for her first assignment. Maybe I can say that I got lost or I got jumped. She started the hover bike and was quickly on her way. Then she looked at the bags flapping behind her. Yeah like, they'll believe that, seeing me with new clothes from Nardstrom(a very classy store in NNY). Oh well, I'll deal with the shit, when it comes to me. She reached into her small bag, now on her lap, and pulled out a earphone. The Martian night air was cooler than expected but she didn't mind. It was the quiet that did get her though. She felt uneasy and had to hear something on her little cross country trip. The music slowly rang in her ear as she moved swifty down the road. She passed a few stations, closer to NNY but nothing was soon all she saw. Looking up occassionally at the sky she saw familar stars, but the night looked too different to clear, too serene. Who knows?! She couldn't really explain it. But she hoped it brought her luck on her journey. Concentrating back on the road she saw light far off in the distance. I guess I'll be there soon. She reached in her shirt and grapped the paper. Brant...well at least there will be a few men here. She giggled to herself. But knew business and pleasure never mixed. She looked down again at the paper and noticed the next name. Satell Megalani...hmm. Guess I need to report to her first. She's the security officer. She hurriedly stuffed the paper back in her shirt and headed on to Outpost XIII. Luckily the roads were queit there. She could never pull a stunt like that on Earth. But his was definetely one thing that she didn't miss from home......TRAFFIC! Time went by and she made it to Outpost XIII. She was stopped by the night guard who let her in town. "Head towards the inn. They have a room set up for now and I'll inform both Officer Brant and Officer Megalani of your arrival." "Umm thanks," she said but quickly held her head down as she drove quietly throught the Outpost. "Great," she said to herself," now I have two people ready to chew me out...Hurray for first impressions." She found the inn and gathered her belongings. The front desk worker gave her keys to the room and she headed upstairs. She opened the door and threw everything down. Looking around the room she wasn't too impressed but hey, it served her right for now. She began to unpack and hung up her clothes. Her weapons went under her bed and everything else went into place. Luckily she didn't bring too much or she would've been surrounded by all she owned. An hour later she was done and began to undress. SHOWER TIME!!! But then..... Its on either Domon or Raiha...whoever wants to bite my head off first!!!
Domon
Brant had finally managed to fall asleep but he hadn't had enough time to hit R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) which would have meant he was out for the night but instead he just hit the first stage of sleep and was then rudely awakened by some guard knocking on his door, it was to inform him another officer had arrived, he grunted and crawled out of bed and managed to get his clothes back on and head for this officer's room. He knocked on the door and a young, tan woman answered the door, she was very attractive, but Brant was all buisness. "You're late, we already had a big case to deal with." "Sorry, I got sidetracked. Lost track of time." Brant just nodded and slumped against the door frame. "So, you also from Earth too?" She nodded and got a puzzled look on her face when Brant started chuckling. "I was the one who kept glancing at you on the way over here, I'd wanted to ask your name but I was a little shy at first." The woman chuckled at this. "I'm Tommi, pleasure to meet you." She extended her hand and the two shook hands, after that Tommi said she needed to take a shower and Brant nodded and took a small tek up the stairs to his room, as soon as he hit the room he walked back towards his bed and fell asleep as his head hit the pillow.
Hinata
Whew! She closed the door and leaned against the closed door. That didn't go as bad as I expected. But she quickly got her mind off that and then chuckled again as she got undressed again. Luckily she was able to grab a shirt before she opened the door. But that wasn't what she was laughing at. But the comment Brant made. She remembered him glancing her way a few times but ignored him most of the time. But he is cute, but she knew she'd never cross that line. Too risky! She turned on the shower and adjusted the temperature. She stood in front of the small mirror provided and looked over her body again. Making sure every freckle was in place and even the small scars from skirmishes she had been in. Some brought back memories of home, but before she got too wound up in thought she jumped in the shower to relax a bit!!! Soon the worries of Earth began to fade away and she wonder what adventures awaited her here. And soon she was puzzled, wondering what big case was happening already. "FUCK!" She yelled and hit the shower stall. " I hate getting behind" And she knew already that she was behind and knew she needed to find out what exactly was going on in this case. But she knew it would have to wait till morning. She let the water run down her back and tried to alleviate the anger she now had with herself. Soon the water was running down her bare breasts and began to play with her nipples. Although not really a turning her on it was a tease to her. She stayed in that spot allowing the water to run down her body. The teasing soon eased up and it turned into calm. She turned around making sure her whole head go wet and turned off the water. She stepped out into the steam that collected in the bathroom and reached for a towel. She found one and dried her face. She soon wrapped the thing to her front. But it barely did justice to cover her. She stepped into her room to find a bigger towel, Luckily she packed a few extra, she searched for a towel and got dryed off. She looked up at the door as she heard footsteps coming down the hall and remembered she forgot to lock the door. She camly walked over and turned the lock and put on a pair of purple underwair with a white shirt that reached her navel, luckily the room wasn't too cold. She tookfound her hair drier and began to comb out her hair taking her time her. Finishing just before 12 AM She flopped down on the bed and quickly grabbed the remote. Maybe a lil TV will keep me company before bed. she said to herself. Besides I feel it already. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
Revelation
Zarian walked towards Alexandra and sat next to her as she sipped her drink. The bartender looked to him and walked towards him. "What'll it be, sir?" He asked kindly. "I'm fine." Zarian replied back. "You never really did like to drink, Zarian." Alexandra had said not looking at him. "Hmm. How'd you know it was me sitting here?" He asked her. "Your scent. I also saw you walking through the entrance and you saw me." Alexandra replied. "I see. You were always keen on your senses, even back on Earth." Zarian said. "Do you miss it?" "What? Miss Earth? I'm glad I'm away from all the chaos that had happened there. I want to start a new life, but I can't unless I meet with Vincent DeMian. I have to get him out of my life, before everything goes back to the way it went. Before, anyone else gets hurt." Alexandra said as she looked to him. "Then start a new life. Join the Law Enforcement. You can learn to help people." Zarian had replied. Alexandra just gave him a look. "Right. I forgot your feelings about the law. But that didn't stop you from me, did it?" Zarian questioned her playfully. "No. No, it didn't."
Sui Generis
Zarian looked at her for a second. He smirked slightly thinking about the days far gone. You still have the poems I wrote you. Zarian laughed at the thought. I may still be a writer but I've lost all talent for poetry ever sense I stopped writing them to you. He shook his head. This world is so strange, so similar to Earth yet still so different. "Hey barkeep! I'd like some ameretto with an orange twist." Zarian nodded his head in thanks to the bar tender as the keep gave him his drink. He sipped on it slowly for a moment. Alexandra looked at him confused then smirked. "I thought you didn't come keen to drinking.." Zarian smiled and took another sip of his alcohol. He looked over at Alexandra and smiled. He pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket. "Its a letter from when we were young. You wrote it to me, it inspired me to be what I am today. Maybe you'll get something out of it now....and on the back is my number just in case you have a change of heart." Zarian gulped the rest of his drink down and stood up. "Remember things change. If you have a change of heart you know who to call." Zarian walked out of the bar with out looking back. He sighed when he exited knowing fully how stupid he must've sounded. He shrugged and walked to the hotel. It was a nice hotel, not to fancy. It seemed almost like home to the now almost drunk Zarian. He walked up to the attendant and began to speak. "Zarian Delves. Room 213. Here you go. Don't worry payments already been arranged." The attendant handed him his room key before Zarian could even finish his first word. Without blinking Zarian took the key and shrugged. He lumbered up to the fourth floor to obliviouse to use the elevator. When he reached his room he fumbled with the key for a moment then opened the door. He clumsely closed the door and flopped onto the bed. He knew he wouldn't get any sleep tonight, he had a lot of writing to do.
Frankie
She grinned slightly as the light slowly faded from the sky. She almost laughed as she turned the horse around and headed back towards town. She started off at a walk that quickly changed to all out speed. The horse seemed to enjoy it as mush as she did. The wind in their hair and the Blending into the knight... perfect time to get down to buisness. The horse blasted right through the outpost and whipped around on the other side. A huge cloud of dust began to settle behind them. She ran the horse through the Outpost again... only the sound of the horse was heard. No laughter even. Just the horse's neighs and hoofs on the ground. All apparent was a huge cloud of dust. Fourty minutes of this and the horse finally began to show signs of tiredness. "Hah.... Alright... lets go... I have decided... Not to continue with the plan tonight.. It is our first night... would hate to get in trouble all the sudden. You now?" "Of course .... I still think you eh... Hehe... Made that one guy wonder... He had a look on his face like he was a monkey doing a match problem..." A voice spoke up. "Perhaps but i doubt he was that confused. He knew what I said. It wasnt like i talked in riddles." Sam puts an index finger to her lower lip and looks upwards as if to be thinking. "You dont have to... Just being yourself maks you seem ... Mysterious... Everyone who saw you today has seen that... Why else do you think you got so many strange looks" The voice is heard again. "Whatever... We shall go to work in a few days i guess... But that was a fun ride... Lets get to camp." Sam looks around. The voice replies ''As you wish." Suddenly the horse bagan walking as if it knew were it was going. It took off full speed back through town and dissapered into the cloud of dust. The horse went farther from the Outpost to a small camp about 15 miles from where any human was sleeping. The horse was wearing a strange metal helmet that was around the eyes and covered the area of the skull. A small speaker was next to a few buttons and lights. They flashed when the voice spoke again. "You know... The man was right..." The horse Nodded. "What do you know? You are just a horse..." Sam reached up and turned off the machine and the horse went into a sleeping state. Sam added wood to her fire and sat dow. She leaned back against a rock and watched green lights flash on the horses Helmet like thing. Soon the lights were full and bright. Sam stood and flicked the switch turning on the helmet. The horse turned its head and snorted at Sam. "Give me warning would you! I like to know when i go into Power down mode... Sheesh... no respect." The horse mummble before going and standing closer to the fire.
Revelation
Alexandra smiled as Zarian left. It was funny how much he had changed, but his fashion style was still the same. She smirked at the thought of the letters. They were so young and so much in love. She looked down to the letter and looked at the number. She put it away and payed the bartender. He nodded and she left for her room. She walked to the attendant and asked for her key. When it was given, she left. Riding through the elevator to the fourth floor. She was about to walk in, when she smelt the air and noticed it had a distinct smell. It was the cologne that Zarian wore and Amaretto with a hint of orange. It was strange. Why would he be on this floor. She neared her room and passed by room number 213 and noticed that the scent came from there. That must've been where he was staying. Opening her door and walking, Alexandra closed it slightly as she pulled out the letter and opened it. Reading it as she neared her bed. It said this. "To the love of my life, Knives. I am writing to you again. It seems like it's been ages since I've seen you last. As I might've told a thousand times, I am not too kind with the law. I tend to break the rules rather than enforce them. But, that was a risk you took. Zarian, I write to you to say that....." Alexandra stopped and could not read anymore. She would read it later. She put the letter away and sat on her bed thinking. She then got up and walked to the balcony. She opened the curtains and the door and walked out. She could see the beautiful view of the Earth replica that she was on. It was amazing. She clsoed her eyes and let the breeze hit her face. A familiar scent came into play. She opened her eyes and could smell Zarian's scent. She smirked at the scent and she kept doing what she was doing. Thoughts ran through her mind. 'If I am to stay here, I should put a mark here. Something that'll say, I am a force to be reckoned with as I did back on Earth. I was known as Lady Kaitou there and I shall be known as Hidama Kyoukan, Fireball Assassin. Beautiful like fire, but quick to spread and quick to kill. Hmm. Hidama Kyoukan. Rings like a beautiful chime in the light breeze. The air here is incredibly sweet. And the sights are beautiful. Much better than that on Earth. A girl like me could get used to this. Hmm. But, now that Zarian is here. This will be fun. A game yet to be played. Along with two others, known as the Law Enforcement. Hmm. First things first, get Vincent away from me and out of of my life.' Alexandra walked back into her room and looked to her letter. She picked it up in her hands and put it into a drawer. She sighed as she walked to the bathroom. She turned the warm water on as she stripped down to her beautiful tanned skin. She let her long hair fall down as she took it out of its braids. She stepped into the warm shower and she let the water run over her. She let the grease and grime wash away from her body as she felt cleansed. Alexandra grabbed a bottle of shampoo/conditioner and lathered her hair with it. Rinsing her hair, her beautiful blond ehair was brighter and softer. Washing her body with the aroma scented soap, she let the scent rise around her. After washing her body, she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body. She grabbed another towel and lightly dried her hair with it. Then after a few moments, she reached for a brush and brushed her hair. Walking to the closet, she had found some things she might want to wear. Reaching into the closet, she had found a beautiful silky, black spaghetti strapped night gown that had amazing patterns on the sides. Putting that back, Alexandra stood by the glass door once again looking out at the horizon. Her wet hair glistening in the sunset. Walking back to her bed, she reached for body spray. She sprayed a beautiful scent of strawberries and champagne around her body. Satisfied with what was done, she slipped out of her towl and slipped into bed and under the covers. Not able to sleep, Alexandra layed there with her thoughts. There was so much that had happened that day.
Hinata
The long awaited day was taking its time at coming as Tommi laid in the bed with nothing to look at. It seemed more so that she longed for the noisiness of the city, than the quietness this town offered her. In fact she almost went crazy. It was already 1:30 and she still couldn't go to sleep. She needed something. Noise, water drips, dish throwing, whatever could make her stop thinking of the boredom she was experiencing here, in order to calm her down and go to sleep. I got it music! She popped up outta the bed immediately and grapped her headphones. But it wasn't enough. She was probably to wriled up and needed to burn off some energy. She threw on a pair of swearpants and a tight short sleeved-shirt and her jogging shoes. Since she couldn't fall asleep, she thought a lil run may make her tired enough to fall to the bed and conk out. She grappeed the MP3 player and headed out the door of her room. Grabbing her keys. No weapons this time, besides if it was a fight someone wanted, they can by all means have it. She closed the door and bolted down 3 stories. On the way out she waved to the attendant and guard. "See ya in a bit fellas," she said without pause heading out the front door and went to her left. A thirty minute run should do it. She warmed up a bit and then set her MP3 player for 30 minutes of music. Off she went into the night hoping that energy would soon drain from her body. As she ran she began to repeat the word in her head, and thoughts of home soon rushed over her. She wondered how her brothers were. And her mom. Shit ,I forgot to call them and let them know I'm settled in okay. She stopped her run for a moment and turned around. Oh well there goes the rest of my night. But then again.... She passed by the hotel but then passes by it. What pain could another thirty minutes cause. She kept running and finished off her early morning jog and went back to the hotel. She ran upstairs and immediately went tothe phone to call her mom. Although it took a few minutes to tranfer a call to Earth. She was happy when all she got was the voicemail. She left a brief message and took off her shoes and pants. She didn't care for another shower. Luckily the run she had did the thrick and she eventually snuggled in for a rest but the phone rang. "Hello?" "Hey Tommi?" "Yes?" "Why didn't you call us sooner. We've been waiting for you call for over 10 hrs now...you on another planet and you got me worried sick." Tommi sat up in the bed and knew she was in for an earful. A grown woman still getting cussed out by her mom.But even throughout her thoughts her mom kept talking. "Oh, mom c'mon now......"
Domon
Brant was sitting on a fencepost with a piece of grass sticking out of his mouth between his two front teeth, he was still wearing his white clothes, but his guns weren't attatched on his belt anymore. As he surveyed the vast pasture from the fence line he saw a whole herd of cattle grazing on the pure green grass. As he breathed inwards he thought about how clean this planet was compared to Earth, how peaceful it was. He lightly dropped off of the fencepost and turned towards a cozy little farmhouse, sitting nestled within a small grouping of trees, on the tree nearest to the house a tireswing hung, and swinging in it was his son, and sitting on a red and white checkerboard designed blanket was his wife, he didn't see her face but her hair was long and dark colored. Brant slowly awoke from his dream, his eyes opened enough that he could tell it was daylight, he then groaned lightly and pulled the covers back over his face, he didn't want to get up but he had to anyways. As he woke up he looked around his room fully, it had modest furniture and a decent sized window, he slid out of bed, stood up and stretched his arms out. He then jumped into the shower quickly and then dried himself except for his hair and then got into a clean pair of his white clothes and slipped on his gloves, and holstered on his guns. After arriving at the office he didn't see Satell anywhere, the only person there was Zarian and he was basically goofing around with one of the computers, when Brant peered over his shoulder he saw that Zarian was looking at the current weather situation for their area, feeling the large pit in his stomach from not eating anything Brant walked over to the coffee machine and poured himself a mug of coffee and sat down near the desk and in between sips struck up a conversation. "So, I wonder what we're supposed to do for now, wait until some big crime happens or what?" Zarian looked up from the computer screen, his eyes glinting with a little curiousity. "I was thinking we could go out to the outskirts of town and just take a look at what the land is like, sound like a plan?" Brant nodded and the two headed for the stables that were next door to the office, Brant climbed onto a white one and Zarian onto a black one, as they were leaving the stables Satell came up from her quarters only to hear the two horses galloping past the office. As she rushed out of the door she sighed, it was going to be a long day.
Sui Generis
Zarian waved at Satell and winked. She stood there with her hands on her hips and shook her head. Zarian let out a small chuckle, happily taking in a refreshing breath of air. It was a crisp morning, the air was pure. Completely fresh, it seemed as there was no such thing as pollution in this new world. It was so much different from Earth. You couldn't take a breath in that god forsaken world without destroying your lungs. He smiled as the wind tossed his hair around. His hair flickered out of his face peacefully fully tangable yet almost like a ghost. He leaned down and gave his horse and soft pat on its side. The horses muscles flexed. Expanding and contracting as the beautiful animal made its way to its destination. The horse seemed content even though it didn't even know where it was going. Simply content to be living, letting the spirit of nature guide its way. "....we could learn from you....." He patted the horse again and leaned back letting his stirrups holding up soley. He sighed knowing that the peace and tranquility that he felt would be terminated, it always was. The peace humans desired, was the peace that they destroyed. He shook his head for a moment. He didn't understood humans. Zarian shrugged. It must be the writer in him, thinking of everything in ways such as that. Whether it was a good thing or bad he didn't know nor did he really care, it was him and thats all that mattered. "Have a fun night?" Zarian smirked and looked towards his friend
Raiha
She bent her lip and bit down on a part of it. From her lips emitted a piercing whislte and in response, the whickering of a long limbed quarter horse. He stopped just short and she grasped his mane, no trappings to help, and leapt on. She gripped with her knees, drew her blade and nudged him. Like one beast, the two sprang forwards to catch Zarian and Brant. Within moments, she had caught the both of them and surpassed. Then again, she had been training with her stallion, Scendelon, for several years. He turned underneath her and she slipped to one side to accomidate. Then he took off again in a smoothe lope, and she rolled her body over his back, doing several vaulting positions without a single falter. Brant and Zarian watched, transfixed, as their security commander went into a series of complicated handstands and backflips, all on the back of a rapidly travelling horse. Finally, she landed in the front splits, her hands pushing her body up above the beast, and landed once more. He snorted and slowed his pace to a steady walk. "Morning boys." They blinked. She wasn't even panting. Some warmup..... She smiled sweetly and dismounted with a smooth twist of her torso.
Domon
Brant of course was in awe of the officer's flexibility etc. But what was really amazing was that she didn't have any riding materials, she was just riding the horse bareback like it was normal! "Morning little lady, I think we got ourselves a little scouting ahead of us just for the fun of it, now if ya don't mind I think ya oughta go back to the house and fix us some of em' wonderful vittles." Brant said in a fake early 1800's western accent, but Satell didn't find this funny and gave Brant a rather pissed look. "You ever do that again and you'll be dead out here in the desert." Brant could feel the blood rushing to his face in a red heat which Zarian noticed and chuckled at, Satell then grinned at her own joke. "This area I haven't been to, it sure looks peaceful. Hey, how about we stop at that rock formation and see if we can see anything from there." Zarian and Brant nodded in unison and as they came upon the formation Brant dropped off his horse and guided it to the formation, the only thing the trio saw was a large mansion that was at least three miles away and from there on they saw large pastures with livestock grazing. Zarian let out a small whistle. "Wow! That's quite big house, wonder who lives there" "No idea but whoever it is has a large amount of money." Brant said with a little bit of jealousy. "Well, shall we go down and investigate?" Satell said as she climbed back onto her horse and the boys followed suit, as they started down the path towards the house Brant started thinking about that dream he had.
Sui Generis
Zarian gazed upon the mansion in disbelief. It was huge, gorgeouse. Its smell was old, something that seemed un-usual in this new world. His horse took a couple steps back. He felt as on edge as the horse. The mansion was eerie to say the least. Something else nagged at Zarian. This reminded him too much of his home. A beautiful waste of resources, waste of time, and waste of breath. Someone spent so much money on it so that it oculd lay and decay. Why do something like that? Why put your money in objects that do not matter, that do not stay with you forever, that do not reside in your heart? Zarian couldn't understand it. He sighed. He was as much at fault as anyone else. He tried to buy Alexandra, tried to show her that he had the money to show his love. He learned later that money showed nothing when it came to emotions. "...If only I wasn't so stupid...."
Domon
Brant gazed off into space thinking about the dream he'd had. It had felt so real, the air caressing his skin, the feel of the piece of grass in his mouth, and the happiness at seeing his son on the tire swing, it was heaven he thought, as the horses finally came to a stop the group dismounted their horses. As Brant walked towards the front door he got an eerie feeling he was being watched, it was too creepy, just way too creepy. He brought his gloved hand up to the door and knocked, but no one answered, he knocked again and still no answer. "Just open the damn door Brant." Satell hissed as Brant was debating on doing the very thing she mentioned, as he came to the conclusion he twisted the knob and slowly opened the door. As the group entered Brant reached for a lightswitch but nothing came on. Someone definetly hadn't been living there, Brant quietly drew one of his guns and set it on regular mode. Zarian obviously had the same thoughts, this house was creepy. "I suggest we fan out and look around for anyone who lives here." Satell said in a normal tone, Brant and Zarian nodded and they all went different directions. Zarian walked around the first floor, Satell covered the third, and Brant had the second floor. The first room Brant went to was what appeared to be the guest room seeing as how it appeared that no one had slept there during the whole time this house must have been built, the room had a quaint feeling about it. There was an old desk nestled against a large bookshelf and next to the book shelf was a large armchair. Bran scanned over some of the book titles, they were all 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd century classic titles. All very famous in their own retrospects. He smiled, whoever the person was that owned this place they sure had good taste in literature. After leaving the guest room Brant headed across the hall and yelled out in surprise which brought Zarian and Satell to his spot, there in the room was a skeleton in a woman's night gown with a large knfe embedded in it and then hanging from the ceiling was another skeleton. "Definetly creepy!!" Zarian said rather shakily.
Raiha
"And definetly dead." "....that is so disgusting." Brant shivered and wrapped himself in his arms, suddenly cold in the normally heated room. Zarian inspected the dead bodies visualy. "What the hell happened?" "My guess is either lover's suicide or murder." Zarian and Brant looked at Satell like she had lost her mind, but she pointed to the third metatarsal on the woman and the hanging skeleton. Wedding bands. "See?" She slid on her gloves and plucked the knife from the corpse delicately. Then she wrapped it and placed it in her pack. The rest of the room was completely natural, opulence in the extreme, but nothing out of the ordinary. She herded Zarian and Brant out into the sunlight once more and marked the house with a homming device. The beacon would send out three teams in a matter of hours. But in the meantime..... "Let's keep going. Hanging around her won't reveal anything the search team can't dig up."
Hinata
"Shit late again." It seems that this just wasn't her time as she strolled into the office. Again behind n he times. But she shrugged her shoulders and fillped through the miminal paperwork stacked upon the desk. She picked each paper up and then flipped them over to the side weeing much of the stuff was junk. As she looked around for me clues nothing quite caught her attention. So she thought the best thing to do was just stick around the office. So finding the nearest computer she began looking through the serurity database, checking up o he most recent cases and skirmishes that had broken out in town. For a while it seemed that things were quiet in this Outpost but more recently people have been getting rowdy. Most of the crimes were robber of fighting. But also a few murders were committed, but no one had been charged yet. Since she knew nothing of all the folks around here, she didn't want to go digging up dirt just yet So she exitted from the files and left the computer alone. Tommi quickly got up and left the office, making sure to leave a little note in case the others returned. Outside the office she saw only a few people walking the streets and asid hello to them all. She then went to a few places and introduced herself to the owners as well as some of the workers there. She didn't feel to comfortable just flat out imposing herself ut she had to get to know people or she would seperate herself from everyone. As the sun began to rise more in the sky she looked down at her watch and remembered she hadn't had breakfast. Oh well I can grab a quick sandwich. Walking to the local dinner. bar, as she kinda saw it she ordered her sandwich and sat as she waited for it. As she looked arond the room she saw only one other person there. A woman sitting by herself at the end of the bar staring out the windows. "Beautiful day isn't it?" Tommi started, getting the lady's attention. "Yeah its alright," she replied. "Oh I'm sorry if I disturbered you or anything," Tommi replied quickly as there was a slight irration in the lady' voice. " It okay," she replied quickly and returned to her own matters. Tommi no longer spoke to the lady ans soon her sandwich came up. She paid the attendant and left the dinner, stopping by the lady. " Um again I'm sorry to have disturbed you and by the way," she extended out her hand," the name's Tommi, nice to meet you..." "Name's Alexandra, nice to meet you too." She returned the gesture and quickly releases Tommi's hand. " Well I hope you have a good day then...." said Tommi turning away. "Bye" She left the dinner and didn't wait for a reply knowing that she may have just ticked to lady off. Oh great what's going to happen now
Domon
Brant could feel cold shivers climbing up and down his back, just then he remembered seeing something in the guest room he was in. "Hang on, I just remembered something!" With that Brant bolted back into the house and up to the guest room, and there on the bed was a dusty book, he quickly picked it up and ran back down the stairs towards the door, as he walked out of the door he saw Zarian still with a look of the willies on his face. "What's that Brant?" Satell said nodding towards the book Brant had in his hands. "Don't know, but it might be a diary or something, let's open it up and find out." With that he opened the book up and started leafing through pages, the first few pages were day-to-day entries, but then after the fourth page it turned weird. "Guys, I definetly think this will lead to what happned here." Brant held out the book, the entry read: "Janurary 12, 3019. The more I stay here in this house the more I think demons live on this land. I have been going out on routine cattle roundups and finding cows slaughtered and their entrails strewn about like some crazed animal had just feasted on the poor creature, and at nights I swear I have seen strange creatures moving about, I have not seen them in the daylight but I see their bloodthirsty red eyes in the night usually when the moons aren't availible to bee seen. It scares me, I think tomorrow I will send Martha back to the town to stay until I can solve this matter." Zarian's eyes widened as he read the entry. The next one was even stranger. "January 12, 3019: Martha refused to leave the house, that woman. I say she is very loyal but I at this point loathe that loyalty, I want her to be safe. I left to check on the herd of cows this morning and found three dead, and just then at that moment my faithful dog ran off after something, I followed but I couldn't keep up, not even on my horse. After following for a few minutes I found the dog and it was coming under attack from some strange creature, I couldn't save it because just as I arrived on the horse the creature grabbed my poor dog by the neck and dragged its poor body into a hole where I could still hear the munching of its bones. I took my only napalm grenade I had on me and threw it into the bastard's hole which satisfied me with the agonizing screaming of the hell spawn. After returning back to the house I found Martha hysteric, she'd come out for the daily mail when she saw the mailman come under attack from a creature just like the one I'd seen, this was really scaring me because I'd gone out to the mail box and found the hover truck torn apart and blood and gore among the truck, I was extremely worried, I rode back to the house, sealed the doors and blocked the windows and then tried to open a communication to the town for some Law Enforcers but the lines were dead, these creatures were smart." Satell was now reading this and had a look of awe and worry. The very last entry read. "January 15, 3019: Dear god! This is it, the monsters have nearly killed everything I own and cherish, they tore into dear Martha, she's been bleeding for the past hour, I just can't keep my sanity, I must put her out of her misery and then I'll dispose of myself for such a crime. Martha, please forgive me....." Brant was about to freak out, these creatures, god knew what they looked like could still be around the farm area. "Guys, we really should leave now!" Zarian nodded but Satell remained calm. "Why, you afraid the boogie man is gonna get you?" "No, I'm afraid of getting torn apart by the boogie man. Now either we head back and let the investigation team handle this or stay here and guard the investigation team and request backup or something because I really don't think I want to be around when those things come out." Satell nodded as did Zarian they agreed they would also request backup, just at that moment Brant thought of that Tommi girl, he grabbed his phone and called the hotel and asked the clerk to tell Tommi Brandons to meet them at the mansion which was about 10 miles away from the town.
Frankie
Sam had not slept that night and she just looked around... the horse woke from its own sleep and he seemed still aggrivated at Sam powering him down without him knowing before hand. Sam just laughed and stood up. She walked over and to the edge of a small cliff. She glanced down and saw the horses at the mansion. "Well well well... Looks like someone has decided to do some lookin... Pity... Hmm... Zash... What do you think? They they will figure any thing out or... leave it up to those idiots who call themselves investigators?" Sam laughs walking back to the horse. "No telling But im sure if they found you out here in the middle of nowhere.... they will start questioning you..." The voice came from the helmet again.. sounding roboti and computerish. Sam just laughed. "Heh who cares.... that dont mean ill answer. They dont know who i am and they dont care... They are to busy in their own stupid sexual lives to care about some mysterious person out here... Heh.. thats why i think ill get away with some things....heh... those Horney idiots... Line of duty my rear! They know nothing of this planet..." "Apparently you arent talking about what i thought the discusion was on... Remind me not to answer you again" Sam laughed again "Dont worry i was just rammbling.... I think its time to visit the... heh... Outpost again" Sam got up on Zash's back and he took off towards the town... Sam thought for a moment as he ran and laughed... boy she was getting worse... "Who ever thought that it could get so bad..." She rolled her eyes at the words running through her head and stopped Zash. "Whats the matter now?" Sam glared at the back of his head. "Do... Do you really think im mysterious... Do you think thats why people avoid me?" "Samantha... YOu avoid the people... they dont avoid you.... silly girl" Sam rolled her eyes and Zash too off again. They made it back to the sight of town. She glanced at at it... still tiny in the horizon... They were still a few miles away and Zash began to walk. "You my friend... are silly. Why a human would chose to live alone for so longi s byone me... and dont you dare start the 'i had no choice' lecture with me.... I have been in function longer than you have lived.... i know better than to listen to that."
Hinata
Tommi went back to the office hoping tat some news would have been broughten back ther but wasn't schocked when she found nothing. She began to eat her sandwich and decided to head ack to the hotel. She left her thinging and forgot her saber claws and rife. She needed to have them on her especially while she was on duty. As she walked into he door she was waved over to the desk. " I have a message for you...it just came." He quickly handed her the note and she went upstairs to grab her things. She read the note as she rode the elevator up and bolted to her room as soon as it stopped on her floor. She quickly grabbed the phone and Brant. " Hello!" "Yeah Brant I just got the message, do you want me to inform anyone else." "You don't worry about that, I've already called, they'll be here in a while but we need you out here now. We need to get this place locked down." "Well what the hell is going on." " I'll explain when you get here. Now get here." He hung up the phone and she quickly slammmed down the reciever and grabbed her weapons and pack. She kept it filled always with a few extra things in case she needed it. mostly rope and other miscellanous items. She went downstairsa and grapped the hover bike. Knowing that getting a horse ready would take to long. It was luckily still pretty full and she bolted outta the Outpost. She arrived at the mansion quickly and dismounted the hover bike. She looked around outside and saw the three horses not too far from the front door. Everthing else though was too quiet. She began to approach the door when Brant and two others stepped outside. She remembered the other guy from the flight over but assumed that the lady was Satell. She waved at them all real quick as Brant introduced them to her quickly. They all stepped back inside and Satell passed the diary to her. "Read this, it'll give you a better overview of what's goin on." she said and Tommi opened the book up to the specified page and began to read. " What else have we got?" Tommi shifted her mind from the freaky thoughts in her mind and went on to be shown the skeleton lying around. As she looked around the roodered where it could have been. " Where's the guys body?" Tommi asked looking at the others. "Haven't found it yet." Satell said. "We just need to secure this place till the Investigation team gets here," Brant said. "Okay." Tommi agreed to the term but deep inside the info seemed fishy as well. As the other left the room she stayed bhind for a few more moments looking around. Her brain cooked up things ans wouldn't be put to rest until the guy's body was found as well. "Hey there, stop thinking too much you'll lose more brein cells that way." Zarian came up beside her while she was standing in the room. And tried his best to lighten things up a bit knowing that something too wierd was happeing. " It's not tha Zarian, I feel the same thing, but Im not certain about my feelings. I just wana make sure that he's around here to. For all I now he could have kiled his wife and he's long gone." "That's true," he said, "but we need to go get this place closed off." She followed him out the room and helped setthe place up hoping that her feelings weren't wrong. She really didn't feel like dealing with nasty creatures at this time.
Raiha
Satell was outside, watching her steed stamp the grass and graze as well, swishing his long flaxen tail back and forth. Blue roan, dark eyed, long limbed, clean, muscled, and a wild runner. She sighed to herself, then pricked her ears. Her beast did the same and the two instantly went on the defensive. She drew steel and stealthily crept back to her stallion, keeping one hand on his mane at all times incase the need for a fast getaway arose. It did. The hell hound rose from the ground, his jaws dripping foam and blood. With a primal hunting scream, she leapt onto Scendelon's back, gripping him firmly with both knees and swinging her blade upwards. Scendelon reared, and came down, his iron shod hoves cleaving the beast in two equal parts. She leapt off and stabbed down, catching the remainder of the beast on her blade. The ivory and silver glistened wetly with the saliva, and then flashed green. She scowled and wipped the blade cleen on the grass. "Poison of the undead." She bared her teeth and drew Scendelon closer. He nudged her side, urging her to mount and let him carry her to safety. Before she did, she listened to the wind once more. It was hushed, brushing against her body. Then she heard the words. "We are the dissapeared......come to us Satell...." "....Why should I?" "We bring the answers....the sadeness, the kindness..." Satell was curious, but did not have a death wish. She sheathed her weapon. "Here I am."
Hinata
tommi heard the horse neigh loudly and as Satell sheathed her weapon Tommi and the others stepped outside. "What's going on out here?" Brant asked. Stepping closer to Satell. "Shhh," Satell answered back. "Somethings talking to me." "What," answered Zarian plannly as he looked around. "Something in the wind." She answered waiting for the voices to continue. They all became silent hoping that they could here what Satell was hearing. Tommi stepped out a bit further and looked at the dead creature not too far from the mansions door. As she looked at it the wind began to grow louder. As if something was coming there way. She began to look around trying to cath the sounds direction slowly backing up towards, Satell and Brant. "Umm do yo guys here that." She said as she got closer to them still looking aorund for the noise. Zarian stepped out to meet them looking behind them. Brant's eyes searched everywhere but the rumbling just got louder. Tommi ready her Saber claw as Brant and Zarian got there weapons ready as well. " Put em away you guys." Satell said. "Thats'll just make things worse. and put the horses in the house. They'll go after them first." Zarian and Tommi let the horse enter the mansion by the front doors and Brant and Satell also backed up to the front door. Soon a rumbling underground was heard in every direction. Brant and Satell stood on the first steps and one by one they began to pop up. They looked like overgrown dogs but their eyes and they way they moved seemed alot different. Evil was lost in their eyes and reddish saliva dripped from their jaws. The slumped over and they legs were very stubby. But soon they turned back as a figure appeared from behind them. Still about 500 feet away "I think we found our demons." Zarian said as looked around. Seeing no way of leaving the mansion now. "But who's that."
Domon
Brant readied his pistols, this time he set them onto charge shot, they would instantly charge the first five shots to their maximum potential and then fire off the shots as soon as Brant pulled the trigger, but after that Brant would have to manually charge the shots, which required him to pull the trigger back and let the energy ball form and then release the trigger which fired off the blast, those shots would take at least 3 seconds to charge. Brant tried to make out who the human shaped figure was but he still couldn't, as it got closer the other animals seemed to bow before it. As the thing was 40 feet away from the house Brant could actually make out the figure, it was human-shaped but the skin was rotting and even gone, the eyes were transfixed and blood thirsty, and the hair was gone from the creature's scalp. "Leave here now or die!" The creature howled in a blood filled rage. "Well we would like to except your little minons are blocking our way." Satell replied rather icily, but the creature continued to walk towards the group. "Well you see, we are very hungry, so one of you will stay behind as our meal." He blinked but it was a sickening sound, the skin of the eyelids seemed to stick to the skin on the cheeks. Satell still glared at the beast. "Go to hell you freak, no one is getting left behind." With that Brant took that as a cue and fired off a shot from his right hand gun which blew the monster apart, this set the other creatures into a frenzy of anger as they charged the house Zarian started picking off animals with his rifle. Brant managed to take out 4 creatures with two shots seeing as how the charge shots could take out 1 human plus half of another, and these creatures were smaller. But as the group was focusing on the front one of the creatures wisened up and snuck around on the side and crashed through a window right next to Brant and brought him down and managed to bite down onto his arm, he could feel the bones in his arm cracking and then finally shattering under the stregnth of the beast, but thankfully Satell had ran towards him and sliced impaled the creature through the chest cavity which killed it instantly. Brant on the other hand was writhing in agony with a bloody mass of an arm.
Hinata
Backing up Zarian at first Tommi took her rifle and also began to pick off the creatures. Soon leaving none behind. But the human figure still walked closer and it seemd that more were coming their way. "Um could you guys hurry," Zarian started but truly realized the magnitude of the situaon seeing boody pour from Brant's arm. Looking around for cloth Tommi noticed the dusty but intac curtains and rippped em into shreds with her claw. Satell knowing what Tommi was doing bent down to Brant and applied pressure above the wound. "About how much longer do we have until they get here Zarian," Satell asked. He looked out as Tommi tied the make-shift tournequet around his arm. "Not alot of time." He started. " And the group seems a bit larger." "What do you call a bit?" Tommi said, as she looked up at him reading the expressions from his face. Satell and Tommi helped Brant up and they all walked to the door. Peaking out Tommi guessed there were about 25 more of those beasts coming up. The man was still slowly coming towards them but not at great speed. Satell stared angrily out at him. Brant looked her way. "What's wrong?" Before she could answer, the beasts were about 20 feet away from the house and their master only a few feet behind them. "You have one more chance to leave one behind or we'll take all four of you." Satell moving around the others went right outside the door and yelled. "Wasn't it you who spoke to me? You tell me what you wanted and we'll think about leaving someone behind." He answered back looking a bit stunned by her request. "I never said anything to you. I didn't call for you. So it looks that you must still give someone up. "Not if we can help it." Tommi stepped out first rifle cocked. And Zarian did also, as well as Brant, although his arm hurt badly. He still had one good arm left. Pointing the gun straight at the man As he stepped out. The evil man laughed. Looking at the group of resilient humans. he laughed at them as stepped forward. Brant fired at him. Hitting one of the demon dogs and splattering the blood all over the mans body. "Next time I won't miss." The other dogs around it began to bark loudly and growled at the group. Seeing a few step closer both Zarian and Tommi fired at them hitting them square in the skulls. More and more grew ever impatient and Tommi, and Zarian kept shooting them down. Soon clearing the whole group leaving just the man to stand there. "So what will it be now. You're the only one left standing." Once there sam tied him behind a building again... and snuck into a building. She sat in the shadows and watched for a moment... 3-24-17-8 Perfect. She snuck back outside and walked in casually. "Id like to open an account." "Are you new here?" The clerk asked "Yeah... got here yesterday. Id like to have all i own be Safe you know... " she digs through her pocket and pulls out a small flat thing of metal "Here.. press the red button... Its a hologram so you might want to step back a bit to give it some room." "Alright" the person steps back closer to the safe... just close enough. They press the red button. A hologram of Samantha pops up. It laughs and points a finger at the holder of the metal... "...You have been visited by The Shadow Phantom.. Bang..." The hologram says. "What? Hey what kinda identification is that?" the clerk says and hears a beep. Suddenly the metal thing explodes sending the person into oblivion. Sam puts in the combo on the safe and goes inside and quickly searches through every thing... Lots of jewels money and such.... not what she was looking for. "I dentification... You dont need my identification." Sam dumps the small try of objects into that small little bag and sneaks out of the building and back to the horse... No real witnesses around to care about what had happened. "Get it?" Zash asks "Yup" Sam holds up the little bag and laughs. Right here... What was taken from me is now mine again... and you know what that means..." " Oh yeah... U-P-G's!!!" Zash laughs "Lets go" Sam gets on his back and casually and rides through town a bit... people are starting to investigate what happened in the bank to see if anything oftheirs was stolen... "Can you beleive it! You missed it seeing how you just got here but soemone just robbed the bank!" Someone says to sam. "Oh.. What was stolen...?" Sam asks with worry in her voice. "Nothing...which is strange... no money no jewels nothing valuable was stolen... Well except this strange Micro Chip and secret Lab document from one of the scientists staying in the hotel... But he has dissapered ..." The man thought for a bit. "Man what happened to the nice clerk there at the desk?" Sam looks in the bank from wherwe Zash stood. "All over the place man!!! SICKNING!! Blown all over the place by something... but no gunpowder spots or anything... like he just blew up..." The man huffs in disgust. "Wierd... where are the Authorities?" Sam asks already fully knowing "Heh.... them bozo's rode off earlier.. .they all are gone... Strange how they all decided to leave..." The man says shaking his head... "You would think they have the brains to at least leave a few members here... I mean... they all leave and that leaves no one to protect this place... how dumb" Sam looks at the blood stains on the walls. "Hmm.. I guess ill go inform the authorities they have a problem in town... gosh and i wanted to eat... oh well... Ill go get the authorities." Sam says turning Zash around. "Please do miss!!!" The man shouts as Zash takes off towards where the others were. Two miles out Sam laughs, "The look on that guys face!! Anyways They should be glad that clerk is gone.... seeing how he wasnt human...Oh well i got what i wanted.." "What about the authorities?" Zash asks "Yeah right... let them be... off with them demon things... hell i dont care! No one cares bout me so why should i care bout them or anyone else aside from myself? Thats right!" "Ill never understand you..." Zash sighs and gallops back to camp.
Revelation
Searching her pokcets, she put some money onto the counter and left the diner. She walked to the clerk and gave her the key. She left the hotel and walked out. Alexandra searched her pockets and reached in and grabbed the paper. She read it a little further. "Zarian, I write to you to say that you know I do not like the law. I tend to bend the rules, rather than enforce them. You took that risk and although you have shown me a world that I have not seen before, you've already shown me more than I needed. You have given me more than I needed. Men have thrown money at me, cars, clothes, all the sparkling silver, glimmering gold, and the platinum that they owned. They use me to get what they want. They use me to get what they need. They give me the money so that I am satisfied. I do not need that from you. Your emotions are what I need. Your love is all that I need. Money is just an object, but love is so much more. Zarian, I am writing to you because I feel that our relationship is not getting anywhere further. You have paid for everything with your money, not your love. Although I am happy with what you have given me, I am not satisfied. There was always something missing from you that I could not place a finger on. Until I figured it out when I was with Vincent. I write to you to tell you that until you know your true feelings, your true intentions about what you want, then you should be alone. I will wait for the very day that you can show me your true love. Love always, Alexandra Donacelli." Alexandra looked up and suddenly knew what Zarian had meant. She smiled as she walked to her bike. She was about to get on it, when she stopped. She put her keys away and walked to the hotel stables. She talked to the stable manager. "Excuse me." She had said. Turning to Alexandra, the manager replied. "Yes?" "Hello, my name is Alexandra Donacelli. I would like to buy a horse from you, but keep him in the stables." She had asked. "Hmm. Depends on the horse breed. What kind are you lookin' for?" The manager replied. "A beautiful, stallion whose color is as dark as the night, adorned with a long, untaming mane. A stallion so fast, no one can catch up to it, a stallion so wild, no one can tame it. I need a horse that can respond to me and only me, but is still wild." Alexandra replied to him. "Well, we've got a white Thoroughbred, American Painted Horse, Brown Mustang, Buckskin Arabian, and a beautiful white Blazer. According to the type you want." The manager said as he showed her the horses. "No, these won't do. They're not wild enough. They're too tame." Alexandra said as she passed by. Walking out of the stables to the pens, she found a wild, ornery stallion. It was a black mustang. She was awed by its beauty, awed by its pure color, and awed by its personalities. She walked closer to it and stood beside the pen. It was untamed and just pure out of nature. The manager walked up to the pen as well. He stood beside Alexandra who looked to the beautiful horse. "This the horse you want? He's a wild fellow. Couldn't find a name for him. I'll give him to you for free. You can keep him here at times too, if you want. Seems you have interest in animals." The manager said. "Yes, I do. So, this stallion needs a name, huh? Hmm. For a wild, ornery, untamed beauty like him needs a name that fits him. For the black mustang. I'm thinking Assassin, but then again he wouldn't kill anyone. What about Aries the God of War? For one of the wildest horses, he has a pure heart and is willing. Like Aries, driven by the rage of battle, with a strong desire for violence. But Aries does not have a strong desire for violence. But he is wild. Hmm. Aries. A perfect name." Alexandra replied. "He's yours then. Try to take him out for a ride." The manager said as he left. Alexandra stepped into the pen with the wild horse and stood there. It looked to her with a strange sight. It was as if right then and there, the two understood each other. Aries trotted towards Alexandra. She petted his mane and leaped onto his back. He neighed loudly and stood on his hind legs. Alexandra, trusting Aries, held onto him with her legs. He stood on all fours again and ran to the other side of the pen before leaping out. Once the two were out, they galloped out of the area. Towards the outside, Alexandra held tightly onto the horse, letting him lead the way. With the wind blowing across her face, atop a fierce, agiled horse, she closed her eyes and let Aries take way. Not knowing where she was going, something told her that the two were going somewhere peaceful and isolated. Somewhere to let her thoughts carry her away.
