Jesus Chicken
Here shall be my poetry collection. All future posts from my personal stash, will be placed into this thread. Feedback, criticism, praise of insane rambling would be most welcome... The first. Sam. It's hard to pretend you like copping shit, It's hard to fake joy amidst the pain of each hit, the centre of the joke but not the attention, the one who made it receives the affection, so don't waste your time dreaming and longing, of a time when you had friends, felt you were belonging, the air has turned stale in the silence of your 'friends', the truth revealved as the joy comes to an end, Sam, you have to keep going in your own funny way, Sam, they'll be at your feet at the end of the day, Sam, you're the subject because you're somewhat abstract, Sam, you're the butt of the joke, cause you have what they lack The Second You can buy a frog... Don't look me over, look over me I don't know where I stand, and I don't want you to see, I don't think I'd be content, to just hold your hand, for a day or two, as I need more, more than anyone can give. its a watse of time to dream I know, scratch away another line, scrawl down what I'm thinkin of, fall to earth again, losin' track of time, Pressure building and the feeling fades, I won't waste my days, On your love, for your love, She doesn't understand me, never did, Chewing nails to the bone, Capture the silence of a crowded home, Home...Home...home... Home is where the heart is, but I don't feel welcome anywhere, does that mean...? I wish he could make up his mind, wish he could gain the loyalty he longs to find, Enjoy the confusion, the mayhem and anarchy, covered in the sweat of others, but, I can feel the cold from miles away... Rain gives the pleasure I seek, the drip, drip, drip, from a God I'll never meet, Wasting thoughts, wastinglines on your love, for your love... Do tell..
