I was looking in a book store at manga I found the trigun manga( yeah I know you don't really care) but I also saw this really stupid looking one called happy mania, it was covered with platic so i knew it wasn't for my underage eyes but the pictures look so dumb badly drawn it's quite a how would you say a......god the word isn't coming to my mind, well it make you want to get as far away from it as you can. I was also quite dissapointed with the FLCL manga's animation wasn't that great, it was a real let down.

I could imagine anyone being disappointed by the animation of a static image...

Is this what you were talking about?

I think I've heard of it before, but never saw what it looked like.

Maybe I should get one copy just to leave on the coffee table at my parent's house for Christmas so my grandma can look at it and then fall over.
I've actually seen that manga before in Walden Books. The plastic cover is off one of them. Of course, they also used to keep the manga next to the x rated books at Walden Books in the Mall near me, so what does that say abnout people?
I probably would read one, but hey, I also tried to watch La Blue Girl (which has no real plot what-so-ever) so you really can't go by what I do now can ya?

:therock: Maybe the Oompa Loompa self tan appeals to some of the population? As well, as A really bad bleach job. Who knows.
I think I'll get a copy when I get back home and find out what it's really all about.
Besides, before I found graphic novels in regular book stores I thought that's how all of them came because the place I usually got them had everything wrapped in plastic.
All hail the Oompa Loompa Manga girl!

I've never read it, but I've heard about it before. Out of what I heard it was pretty good, but it is definatly not for younger people. Lol. The way she looks reminds me of Momo from Peach Girl. *shrugs* I just think that's what she looks like. Maybe when I'm a bit older I'll check it out. Otherwise I don't really have any thing else to say.

OOmpa LOompa HAHAHAHSHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That is great OI almost died lauguing.
Oompa Loompas may be scary but if I sw THAT lady walkin down the street Id be more afraid of the snake tounge. Looking at the cover it just looks like one more meaningless hentai. Trash. Not fer my eyes.

I read it! Well, Okay, I skimmed thru it, but it's kinda like reading it.
I forgot the girl's name but:
she works in a book store with this other guy and she's kinda with this other guy. they have there is some frontal nudity. And it's notlike the SailorMoon henshin nudity more like InuYasha frontal nudity.
Anyway the main character and the girl have sex and then she gets mad about being a *u** buddy
That's about all I remember from it.
Needless to say, it's not for the not very mature. But hey, just call me Chibi Horsewoman, Manga Tester!

I've read another of the (wait should I call her an author or a manga-ka? Hmm I'll just stick with "creator") creator's works. I think it was "Between the sheets" or was it that Angle something one? Whatever it was ChibiHorsewoman was right. there is alot of
full frontal nudity and it's DEFFINATLY hetai. Most of the stuff done by that lady is all about sex.
Toykopop gave it good ratings so when I saw it out of the plastic at one mall I went to once I read it. There's a reason for the plastic wrap. Same reason it's rated mature. I didn't think it wass all that good....but that's just me. And by the way it's not an anime it's a manga so technically this should be in the Litature Lounge......yeah.

Okay, well, i wouldnt say that i found a funny looking creature in the anime book but. long ago when this anime comic book came out.....well, you could say it wasent good fr the little kids. it wasent a show yet either. See i use to read comics people didnt know about so they could get into it. And one comic i think it was "Weaklings are the Prey" Well, anyhow, it was getting into some hentai, and then it showed the main charecter and this white trash girl having sex......and i kinda stoped reading it. but then the book ended for the viewing of presonal areas.....lol
