[COLOR=Blue][I]Anyone know what the endless void is? No?...Space...Imagine Space travel to be nothing more then jumping in your car and a driving to where ever your heart desires. Still not satisfied? Imagine being able to get to one planet to another in a fraction of the time it would normally take you. Well its all possible now. The year is 20XX and Space travel has become a mere 'thing' .
Who rules the stars? Nobody! This is the time of Heroes, Pirates, Merchants, Smugglers, and more. Hostile groups of Pirates scour Space just preying on other ships, robbing them or just flat out killing them. Freelance Pilots pick up contrats at the local Pub which could consist of assassinating a local Pirate bands leader, or destroying cargo, or destroying a group of Pirates that seem to harrass the same area over and over. Smugglers get neccesary goods, weapons, drugs, artifacts, and more into sections of Space no one would even try getting into. Merchants buy goods from one planet and fly the distances to sell them for more then they are worth in another planet! The United Earths Navy is abound, keeping traffic and crime to a minimum, but there are just some places they wont go. Space is much like Earth...or rather Earths. There is more then one Earth now, from Planet California in United Sector, to Planet Tokyo in the Far East Sector.
But in all of this Space glory humans have angered an ancient Alien race called the Triumvirate, a group of three different races of Aliens who used to occupy Space, until Humans ventured into space and started colonizing on every planet they could get thier hands on.
Supreme Court General Williams is trying to contain the Triumvirate threat but it is getting out of hand, if it continues there might be war.
The Universe is vast, how do you live?[/I][/COLOR]

A pretty simple set-up. The Triumvirate is pissed that we have started invading Space, but arent ready to stike at us yet. Everyone who signs up, basically doesn't care about the Triumvirate. The people who sign up are Merchants, Freelancers, Smugglers, Pirates, so on and so on.

I edited this after I got to thinking about it....Hardpoints are places where you can put weapon on your ships.
Weapon hardpoints are for lazers and guns, and usually fire in front of you. Turret hardpoints are for swiviling turrets and can fire above, below, behind, and under you.

A small fighter ship, it has 4 weapon hardpoints, and limited cargo space. It has the best turning, and is fastest. It has very weak armor.

[B]Heavy fighter:[/B]
A slightly larger fighter ship then the [I]Light fighter[/I]
It has 6 weapon hardpoints, and a slightly larger cargo space. It has less turning then the [I]Light fighter[/I], but is fast. It has meadium armor.

[B]Very Heavy Fighter[/B]
A larger ship then the [I]Heavy fighter[/I]
It has 8 weapon hardpoints, and a larger cargo space. It has even less turning then the [I]Heavy fighter[/I], but is a little less fast then the [I]Heavy fighter[/I]. It has strong armor.

A very large ship with 2 weapon hardpoints, and 6 turret hardpoints. It has the largest cargo space, but the worst turning, it is slow and not meant for combat. But these bad-boys can take a beating and keep on truckin'. These big-boys have the strongest armor.[/COLOR]

[b]Appearance:[/b] Although it has been proven that not all pirates had the eyepatch over an eye in the seafaring days. Bunker decided that he wanted to go with the stereotype. So he went out and bought an eyepatch. Once in a while he change which eye it covers. Though his eyes are fine. Other than that he wears the usual space armor. He has a black and grey flightsuit, and a red flight helmet he wears during space battles only. Though he tries to avoid those as much as possible.
He wears the same thing off ship as well as on ship. He also has black hair, and green eyes. He could be quite muscular, but his days of piloting have kept him from keeping up a rock hard body. Though he tries.
[b]Bio:[/b] Bunker was born on Planet New York. The planet, just like the city on Earth, is full of crime. That's where he got the inspiration to become a pirate. He trained under the best, and the worst, depending on how you looked at it.
He got his current ship from his father, whom died in a small shootout with the Navy. Although the Navy was responsible for his fathers death, he doesn't hold personal grudges against the force. After all, what can one man do against an entire army?

Appearance: Well..If anyone really wants to know, go to "Kill Adam", she's on the first page. Imagine her without the sambrero thingy and a leather hat like Indiana Jones.

Bio: *Okay, I don't want to get too detailed because that way I can manipulate her within the story, she's a shifty character anyway so a huge bio won't do too much good*

Yelena was born and raised on the planet of San Fransisco. At a tender age of 7, her parents got divorced. She lived with her money hungry mother and was put through hell.

At the age of 13, Yelena's mother sold her 13 year old daughter's body to any man who would pay enough to have "their way" with Yelena. Sad, I know...But bad people always get their come-upants. Yelena then ran away and turned her mother into the police.

With no where to go, Yelena wandered the streets and was picked up by a band of local pirates. The took her in and showed her the ways of a pirate's life. She learned how to fight and fly a ship.

Age 17, Yelena won a race and won her beloved ship. She ran into trouble drag racing and was sentenced to face the jury of the Navy. They sent her to a juvenille detentionary where she spent the next two years of her life.

After being let out on good behavior, Yelena went back to her pirate ways. Getting into mischief.

Special qualities: Light weight metal for maneuverability and speed. Has a temporary energy shield that protects and camoflauges the ship, blending into any environtment(hence the name)

This ship is mainly used as a racing ship, but in battle it can easily slip out of the reach of most attacks.[/color][/font][/b]

Bio: Tycho is an experienced scout, specialized in exploration and mapping. He's discovered several important planets and his ship symbol (2 crossing 8) is pretty well-known. After getting his planetology doctorate, he enroled in the marine for the scout patrol, and quickly earned ranks by localizing various space resources and mapping their precise locations. He has artificial eyes with an array of function (zoom, independent focus, Infravision, etc.)

JT keeps his sandy brown hair cut at a little over an inch, he has stern blue eyes and high predominant cheek bones. He can usually be found wearing his tactical uniform, consisting of a light utility vest over a black jum suit as well as a belt sturdy boots and tight, tough pants. JT wears gloves with his tactical suit but wears a casual outfit when he is not on mission.

Bio:
Given over to the United Earths Navy as a young child by his parents; they were forced to give him up; Trenton was trained as a close combat recruit, specializing in the boarding of hostile craft. At the age of 12 he was moved to active duty where he quickly impressed his superiors and was recommended for special ops. training at 15.
After acing the training courses Treton was moved into active duty where he served for 5 years before attaining the rank of sergeant.
Trenton is currently serving on the Solaris, a large cruiser in the navy, but is expecting to be reassigned soon after witnessing several...unauthorized...actions from the commanding officer.

Appearance:
As massive oval shaped vessel, the Solaris is unable to land. Rather all repair work and retrofitting that needs to be done to the craft are performed in orbit, usually on one of the large space stations surrounding Mars (or what ever it is now).
The only feature noticable from a distance is a large D-shaped chunk missing from the hull, the walls of this hole are surrounded with openings to the Solaris' main docking bays. The bridge of the ship aslo looks out into this.

He wears black boots that reach the base of his knee caps, and have silver buckles along the side. When he goes into space he throws on an old leather jacket. His flight helmet is all black with a skull painted on the top.

[B]Bio:[/B] Conrad, or rather Ry was born in the United Sector on Planet Georgia. He grew up in a slum neighborhood, watching all the ships pass over his home, heading over to the Docking Ring to head into space. He lost his father in the Kishiro Wars when United Sector and Far East Sector waged war. He grew up as a problem child, smuggling drugs and small arms around Planet Georgia, when he was caught by the United Earths Navy trying to smuggle drugs into a club he was thrown in jail. When he got out, he re-formed and turned over a new neo-leaf. He grew up wiser, stronger and finally ventured into space. In his early years of Space travel his came in on a collision with a large Cargo ship, when the two smashed into eachother the goods of the cargo ship were splayed out around the ship. When the United Earths Navy came to investigate the crash the Cargo ships cargo were Triumvirate artifacts. He didn't have the money to pay for the Cargo ships damage and he had just gotten a well-known Smuggler thrown in jail he was recruited to that smuggling company and now works for them to pay of his debt.

However, it takes several more seconds to fire backwards, and as can be imagined, is particularly hard to aim that way.

[B]Special Qualities:[/B] While the craft doesn?t contain any true special qualities, it?s been upgraded with a small number of odds and ends Shane has collected over time. Most notably, a powerful interception and jamming device, as well as a conventional radar cloak, which while normally blocking his ship from sensors, still leaves him open to visual detection.
