Mitch
You posting could be much, much better. Please improve your posting quality, it goes a very long way. Trust me. You are really new here...so I won't close this thread, and I'll give you this exception. But please, improve the quality or else I shall close/warn/etc anything else you say or post or make heh. I much rather enjoy reading than TV. Tv itself is so mindless...and most of the shows just aren't worth it to watch, whereas I think reading is a much more personal form of entertainment, as well as a much more selective form of entertainment. So yeah. That's what I think.
Eugi
I think reading the anime is actually better. I really enjoy mangas because, at most times, you can use your imagination to kind of picture the sound or feel more of whats going on in the page. The only manga i've read and owned was Ragnarok Volume 1, and through that whole manga, I couldnt keep my eyes off. It truly was a great work. Plus, if you like something pretty in the manga that youve seen, you can just simply save the page, instead of pausing the anime (if youre watching it) to live the scence. You'd always have it in the comic. Also, lets say you really like the art, you can always reffer back to the page, instead of fast forwarding painfully in an anime. Thats what I think. KarmaOfChaos
It really depends on the anime. If it's done well, and stays true enough to the manga, I generally prefer watching, because you have voices and movement, and adds an entirely new level to it. But, many mangas are much better than their anime counterparts. The artwork is beautiful, and the plotline is pretty much as the author intended, with the occasional 'lost in translation' speech bubble that just makes no sense. And, of course, you have the freedom of intereptation, much of which is lost in anime. So it really depends. I can go either way. That sounded a bit wrong. o.o; -Karma
