OOC: Do you want me to do the navy's actions? I can, but only if everyone doesn't mind. I mean like the ones on Planet New York that are of any significance.
-----------------------------------------
The chaotic skirmish of ships was starting to slow down by the time the U-shaped ship glided into the Solaris?s docking bays. Trenton was pulling the pirate captain over to the door even before the landing gear had been engaged. There were several teams already waiting to escort the prisoner to his cell. Trenton groaned as he walked down the ships ramp, fed up with what he considered to be pointless missions.

'The Solaris is now awaiting civilian persons. All personnel are to remain armed and cautious.' another announcement echoed down the corridors of the cruiser as Trenton walked back to his locker in the block A change rooms. They were doing it again, using civilians to as bounty hunters, offering much needed funds as a reward for a job the specialist teams could easily do. Trenton shook his head in thought as he walked. ?Special Operations Team Sergeant James Trenton is to report to the officer block immediately, you will be given further instructions upon arrival.? Great what now?

The officers? deck could only be described as clean and regimental. It consisted of fourteen corridors, each containing twelve offices for a total of 168, a mess hall and the usual toiletry facilities found on every deck. Linking the fourteen corridors were another 2 passages running across the others, they provided access to the rest of the ship. One wall of one of these passages was clear, looking out over the docking cavity. Trenton barely noticed that a large segment of hull had slid over the all too familiar view beside him as he walked down this corridor, it was standard practice to lock down the ships view ports four several hours after a battle. He turned down one of the corridors and paused briefly before rapping his knuckles on the door.

?I was requested sir.? Trenton walked purposefully into the room, after being invited, and greeted Flight Commander Welsh.
?Good afternoon sergeant.? The commander looked up from his paperwork, seemingly unaware of the skirmish outside. ?We both have a lot to do so I?ll be brief.? He paused, choosing his words carefully before he continued. ?As you know we have been sent here to?remove?the pirate presence from this sector.?
?Yes, I know this commander but it is not the responsibility of my team or myself?? Welsh cut off Trenton.
?That is why you are here sergeant.? Welsh said shortly. ?This morning we received a transmission from scout team Delta that confirms the presence of hostile alien forces not far from here,? He paused with a smirk, ?that I think is one of your responsibilities sergeant.
?Yes sir, sorry sir.? Trenton apologized, even though they both knew he didn?t really mean it.
?A briefing is being prepared as we speak, you and your team will be briefed in half an hour from now. That?ll be all sergeant.? The commander dismissed Trenton and returned to his paper work.

About time, Trenton thought as he walked back down the corridor towards the elevators, he knew that the rest of the team would be just as relieved as him to get off this ship and do something more meaningful then flight duty?.

"Perhaps the fact you noticed me so quickly is a word in your favor. I don't like killing skilled myself. There's always a risk they'll kill you first," he explained, shrugging. "As for my name, you can call me Alexander."

"What's that job of yours you're talking about." she retorted.

"I've got ahold of informations that the Merchants' League will actually be transporting a substancial amount of Kernalin out of Planet New York next week. It's hidden inside fake hypercom detector pieces. They are not even aware of it, making it all the more interesting for us."

Kernalin was a drug, a dexterity and IQ-enhancing product that had the worst addictive effecs ever seen in man's history. It was banned on half the worlds in humanspace. It was also just short of being as valuable as antimatter.

"As you know, the League go to great extent to protect that cargo, I'v managed to get hired on the protection squad, but I'll need a partner to complete my plan."

Now I'm really in trouble. And I didn't need anyone's help to get there. he though, mentally sweatdropping.

With all the pirates now either well into a retreat, captured, or now one with space itself, Shane Reilly brought his Enforcer in line with the docking cavity of the United Earth?s Navy cruiser Solaris and slowly directed it to land inside the ship.

After paralysing the freighter/destroyer hybrid, and rescuing Zero from the void of space, he had silently patrolled around the edge of the dying battle, giving only occasional assistance, and mostly staying out of the way as things were cleaned up. Once everything was in the clear, he was given permission to dock.

Bringing the Enforcer to a comfortable landing, Shane popped the top hatch, and stood up, breathing in the slightly stale air of the cruiser. He then took a slow look around, watching as several other fighters landed, before spotting an approaching medical team. Bending back down, he opened the hatch to his ship?s internal storage area, before jumping out of the cockpit, onto the wing, and carefully making his way onto the steel floor of the hanger from there.

He then watched as the medical team dragged an unconscious, and rather striking woman, onto a stretcher, and carried her off. Shane watched Zero be carried off, before turning around - and finding himself looking eye to eye with another man, in his thirties, and wearing a clean military uniform.

?The freelancer, I presume?? he asked, in what sounded like an English accent.

Shane nodded, casually taking a step back. ?I?m Shane Reilly.?

The Navy officer nodded, as if he knew this already. Which he quite probably did. ?I came here to thank you for your assistance, and for rescuing one of our pilots.? He gave a look towards Shane?s Enforcer. ?I?ll get someone to repair any damage your fighter may?ve suffered, as well as reload any ammunition you might?ve expended. And free of charge. Consider it your payment.?

The officer paused, looking the freelancer up and down. ?There is a rest room and mess hall just off the hangar that you may use. You may not leave to explore other sections of the ship, however.? He jerked his head in the direction Shane needed to go, but after taking a step away, paused for a second time. ?And there might be several jobs up for offer. You may find them here too, I might add, as the Caspian suffered some minor damage.?

And with that, he was off; leaving Shane to give his ship one last look, then make his way to this ?public? mess hall?

Yelena stared in confusion at Alexander. What was she to do? She was already on a job to stop this Ry person from smuggling a very important product out of Planet California. If she abandoned this mission, she'd lose her handsome reward and her life.

"As for your other job, do not worry, I will take care of it,"Alexander holstered is blaster and fixed his belt,"By the way, your name?"

"Yelena LeBlough, I am also known as Slick,"Yelena leaned her head against the door.

"So will you join me?" Alexander's eyes glinted of fear, hope, and question.

Yelena pierced throught his eyes and looked deep. She could tell that he spoke the truth.

A drug bust, eh? And not just any drug bust. The sum on this mission definately exeeds my original job...And this man, Alexander, he seems genuine. He seems almost desperate or dependent on my answer.... Yelena pushed herself from the door and walks up to Alexander, his forehead began to bead with sweat.

"Alright, I might regret this, but I will take your offer,"Yelena held out her hand.

Alexander took her hand and shook it gratefully. His expression was much calmer and relieved. Yelena smiled at this and started to walk out the door.

"Where are you going?" Alexander followed.

"Out of this retched place," Yelena's face and voice twisted in utter ill disgust.

Alexander agreed with a slight smile. The two were out side and heading towards the docks.

"Now, tell me the plan and in detail,"Yelena leaned up against her ship.

Trenton found the rest of his team lounging in the mess hall on the docking level of the Solaris. He decided to grab a plate of food and join them before they had to going to the briefing.

?I got good news people.? Trenton slid his tray along the table and sat down next to Ghost, she turned to look at him.
?And whats that sir, another week of patrol?? The sarcasim was heavy in her voice.
?No, I have just been informed by Commander Welsh,? Trenton paused as a civialian walked into the mess hall, he scanned him briefly then continued ?that we have received word of alien forces in the area.?
??Bout time something happened I don?t think I could take much more of this, we haven?t been out on a real mission in weeks.? Tallin, the units newest recruit, piped up. Ignoring him the Sergeant looked dismally at his food.
?I hate being out here for this long, the rations they give us are foul.? He looked around the room, the only people in the massive hall besides his unit were four pilots and the civilian.
Following his gaze Ghost leaned closer to her officer. ?You think they?re going to give us another tag along?? she said softly.
?Probally. Its cheaper than scouting the area ourselves?? Trenton stopped and looked down at his watch. ?We had better get going, we?ll be shot if we?re late again.? He joked. The seven comrades stood up and began to move towards the door.
?Yeah well as long as this one can fight, I?m sick of filling in paperwork on how another idiot was roasted by a Bassilain or shot up by the Trynians...? Ghost continued as they walked out of the hall?.

While he might?ve been hungry, Shane Reilly wasn?t too comfortable with leaving his ship in the hands of some Navy mechanic. There was no doubt that he respected the United Earth?s Navy, but when it came to his ship, he liked to make sure he had an eye on things. If some mechanic made even the slightest mistake, things would almost certainly go horribly wrong later on.

And there was always the chance of the Navy doing something intentionally to the ship. Maybe planting a tracking device, or a tap into his computer? Despite their working relationship, he was still a civilian, and a freelancer at that.

Striding into the mess hall, Shane took a quick look around the large expanse as he sped forward to get some food. There were a couple of pilots that he?d spotted heading for the hall just a moment ago, and seven other men and woman whom he knew nothing about.

Grabbing a tray and getting it filled in only a few seconds, Shane marched over to the nearest table, sat down, and began eating the small amount of rather foul food.

All of a sudden, the freelancer became very conscious of his actions, and quickly saw why out of the corner of his eye. They?re watching me? He couldn?t hear what they were saying, but had a feeling he wouldn?t of liked it. Returning to his food, he literally gulped down the rest of his food, then rose to leave?

Only to stop as the group of seven rose as well and began to leave. He paused, before shaking his head and smiling; he was just getting paranoid. He began to follow them out, hearing snippets of what one of them was saying, but for the most part, tuning out?

Arik's first thought after the female left was: What a bitch. But, she was well gone now, and seemed to have had someone go after her. That would be interesting.

But, Arik didn't care. He had his booze and peace, so he wasn't going to worry about anything. He knew his ship hadn't been bothered yet, his onboard security system hadn't alerted him yet. Even if it did, by the time he got there the ship could be dust.. or it could have destroyed the would be investigators.

Once again he felt someone look at him. He looked around and saw a woman looking away just as he saw her. He stared at her until she looked at him again, then, with a raise of his glass he gave her a courteous nod and smile. Then went back to drinking.

He decided that he would wait a little while longer, then leave. He hadn't had his fill of drinks. When he did, it would be a long, staggering walk back to his ship. Though.. perhaps he would just get a hotel room. Even though he doesn't trust them, for it would be easy for the Navy to ambush him while he is asleep. So it would have to be a pirate friendly hotel.

ooc: How can you see "pierce through his eyes?" The goggles certainly aren't see-through. He wears them to conceal his cybernetic eyes in the first place!.

Tycho sighed. Great, I've got two birds with one hand.

"If you don't mind, I don't think here is the right place to discuss this. I should know." He said, catching the cambug.

"You were recording us al along!" She growled.

"Hem. Actually, I didn't expect my A.S. to keep the bug running after I 'caught' you. It was only to follow you unnoticed. Anyway, your ship or mine? Or maybe you have an ever better suggestion?"

Ry got out of the Hover cab at the port and got out, he showed his credentials through and made his way to his ship. He saw the Navy stiff examining his ship, they hadn't looked inside or checked the cargo, they seemed to be looking at the outside. Ry walked up to the Navy officers and slung his arms around thier shoulders.

"Well boys, what have you go there?" Ry asked sarcastically.

The Navy officers pushed Ry away, and continued looking at the ship. Ry walked past the and climbed aboard his ship. He gave a slight wave to the officers and as the hatch slide open.

"You up there! We cannot allow you to leave!" one of the Navy officers yelled pulling out a laser pistol. He pointed it towards Ry, but Ry was much too quick. He jumpe dinside the cockpit and pressed a few buttons on the dash, the hatch slid close as the engine began whining as they fired up. The Navy blaster fire began hitting his hull.

"Leena! Shields up!" Ry yelled, pulling on his flight helmet.

A thin, filmy blue aura appeard around the Marauder and the blaster fire began phasing into the shield. Ry smiled and tapped a button on his dash, his flight stick appeared from under the dash. He pulled back on the stick and the Marauder began to hover, he manuevered it around and pushed the throttle level foward. Ry felt the Gs instantly as he took off. He sped towards space, knowing the Navy stiffs will be on his tail in no time flat. He grinned inspite of it all and blasted through the atmosphere, disregarding the docking ring at all.

Yelena and Alexander looked to the sky and watched a ship blast out of the vecinity. Not long after it, a couple of Naval Cruisers followed. Yelena shook her head and smiled at Alexander.

"Youn know what? I am quite hungry, why don't we find a quiet restraunt?"Yelena looked over his shoulder and spotted a couple of Naval Officers.

Alexander followed her stare and nodded his head. The two spun around and walked into the city. Yelena continued her brisk, perky pace. They looked around for a small restraunt and found one on the corner. It was underground and they had to walk down a steep staircase to get into the restraunt.

"Hmm, I think this is a good place,"Yelena threw a questioning look at Alexander.

Alexander glanced around the dinner and nodded approvingly. The dinner was empty, except for the few waitresses and an old couple on the other side.

"Yes, it's fine,"Alexander stretched.

Yelena leaned across the table,"Now, let's get down to buisness."

Trini smiled to herself as Arik, lifted his glass to her. She had to admit he was kinda cute, but she knew that things would lead to trouble.

What the hell, I like trouble!

She ordered another drink, but had it sent t=down closer to Arik. She soon got up and walked his way. Tapping him on the shoulder, as she got near him.

"Don't mind if I sit here do you?" Trini said.

"Nah, help yourself." He started besides, "I like to enjoy a womans company from time to time."

Trini smiled a bit and sat down next to him. She took a sip of her drink and then glanced back over at him.

" So why don't you tell me about yorself?"

Arik laughed a bit at the comment.

"Naw you start, Trini!"

Trini not too shocked by him knowing her name, looked at him more casually and then started up a more easy conversation.

"Wow, a man like Arik Nemesco knows me? I'm kinda happy about that!"

"Well besides the fact that the bartender said your name so loud, I couldn't help but overhear it, you know?"

He ordered himself another drink and began to take it down with ease. Pacing himself while he spoke.

"But your reputation does proceed you a bit, I've heard of you before, and I must say its a great pleasure in meeting you."

"Naw, its all mine," she said smiling a she began to drink again. " Its you who's the famous one around here. I'm just a smuggler, nothing more, nothing less you know."

"Well I'm just a pirate lady, nothing more....nothing less."

With that comment, Trini turned to face him. Looking directly into his eyes ( although one was covered up.) She cautiously began to reach for over to him.

"Do you mind for a moment, if I remove the eyepatch. I alredy know your other eye's okay, I've seen pictures of you plenty of times to know you rotate it."

Arik laughed again, but lowered Trini's hand lifteing the patch himself.

Trini almost stunned by how good his eyes looked was almost locked ino a gaze with him but then slowly looked away. Arik returned the patch.

"So what was that for?" He said beginning to sip on his drink again.

" Just had to see if you were as cute as I fantasized you to be."

Arik smiled as he gulped the rest of his drink down.

"If I didn't know better I'd say you were flirting?"

" About time you caught on-" Trini said awaiting the next words to come out of his mouth.

"Well you know, not very often I meet a lady as flattering as you. Most of them are calling me the scum of the universe," Arik said simply. Then he brought his drink up for another drag.

His mind began to wonder. He didn't like it when it did, he started getting suspicious of things.

"So, is there any certain reason you wanted to talk to me?" He asked, trying not to sound to rude.

"Can I not enjoy the company of a man once in a while?" She asked, reminding him of his earlier responce.

"Heh, you win this round," he said with a wink of his eye.

"Damn right I do," Trini said grinning.

Arik gave a laugh, he liked this girl. She wasn't like most smugglers he knew.. though.. most of them were men.

Trini was enjoying her time with Arik but soon knew that she had to get started on her job again. She looked at her watch again groaning as she looked at the time. And she began to wrap the conversation up.

She got straight to the point," What are you doing later tonight?"

"Well I was probably gonna go and pass out from drinking so much, you?"

"Well, Im hoping I can sawy you out of passing out and meet me somewhere a about 2 hours?"

"So what do you have in mind?"

She sipped again from her glass and turned his way grabbing his hand.

"Well we can grab a few more drinks and then you can pass out or...."

She put his hand on her hip and began to move them upwards towards her breats but she stopped.

"You feel me, figuratively speaking of course?"

Arik laughed again and replied," Yeah I feel you, figuratvely and literaterly speaking!"

"Well I hope so," she said mving his hand back and placing in it a card. " Call me in an hour and we'll meet somewhere. Your terms, and if not this time, well I hope the next." She said standing up keeping her eyes on him and her hands on hers."

" I will definetly think about that."

" Do that," she replied bending forward, kissing him on the lips. She kept them there for about 5 seconds and stepped back whispering again,"Do that,"

She from him and began to walk away, heading towards the entrance. Jeeing her back to him, not looking back to see him.

She once again, found herself outside and on her gaol.. She waved down a hover cab and began to study her best route of escape s well as tossing in her mind, the gouhts of just what may happen tonight, if he calls.

'Don't you think it's odd that they are so close to the core sectors?, I mean its kinda' weird that there has been no word of them before now.' Ghost raised the question as the small group walked along.
'Yeah they must have come through the outskirts to get here.? Jet continued.

Trenton ignored the banter as he lead the team down the corridor, stopping halfway inbetween the hangars and the mess hall to wait for an elevator. It was then that he spotted the freelancer walking casually behind them, apparently making his way back to the hangars, and realized all to suddenly that his team of specialists might just have given away important secrets. None of them were any wiser, continuing to argue as they waited for the lift car. Trenton started to reach out to stop the man but hesitated. What could they have possibly given away that was so important anyway? Besides the freelancer was probally going to end up tagged onto the end of his team and find it all out in the end.

The out of place freelancer continued down the corridor, apparently unaware ofr the sergeant or his team. Trenton hefted his assualt rifle to the other shoulder and pressed the call button on impatiently, his mind pondering what might lay ahead?

Forsaken was now alone again, watching as some people talked. It was fasinating to watch them as they interacted with one another. Forsaken found himself jealous of them. He was always alone.........And being what he was did not help in any matters what so ever.....He jumps into sight, and he looks round. There are guns everywhere in this place. "He sw a beautilful woman, and he found her to be quiet a charmer....... despite her attitude.
Do I hacve a crush on her? he wondered.
"Who the hell are you?"
"I?"
"Yeah......."
"I'm.... nobody. "
"What is your name?"
"It dosn't matter........"
"You.. I've sen you....." she says." You're that man ...Forsaken!"
"I am no one, I simply am."
"You babble.. but you have quiet a price on your head."
Forsaken Stares at her. "You so wish to collect the bounty on my head. "
"The woman stands, pointing her weapon at him. ""You want to come along quietly?"turning to her buisness partner, she says, "I'll settle this as we take him... want to spilt the money fifty fifty?"
"You will collect nothing."Says Forsaken.
"Huh?"
Forsaken has managed to move to the bareel of the gun. He grabs it, and he pinches it shut with his fingers.
"you....you.... you're strong.... You are... human..."
Forsaken narows his eyes. "Who ever said I had to be human?"

Here goes nothing...

"So, as I've told you, I'm already hired on security crew aboard the ship. My job is to lay low until we get through Neostria's orbit. At that moment, I'll release a paralysing gas into the ship. Then I'll send a distress call about said gas to the 4 fighters protecting the ship and activate an anticom cloaker."

The woman nodded.

"That sounds right. How you got hired is beyond me, but the plan seems flawless to me so far."

"The anticom, you guessed it, is there to prevent the fighters to send a S.O.S. before we're done with them. The procedure specifies that if such a thing happens, no more than one fighter pilot is allowed to board, one will immediately fly off to the closest planet to bring the cavalry, another is to be ready to destroy the ship, and the last is checking on the surroundings."

"That doesn't sound easy to get through." Yelena pointed.

"Well, unless you forget that the ship himself does possess a limited amount of weapons..."

A smile crept to her face.

"So... I suppose I have to take out the messenger fighter, then you get rid of the watcher one, and the third is a piece of cake?"

"Exactly. That or I get out 'unscathed' as the pilot and we get rid of them together. That leaves us with a week to go looking out for that guy... Ry you said?"

Trini didn't really want to leave Arik behind but knew that this job would secure her for a bit. So she continued to look for the best palce to stash the flying hover cart that she just rented. Luckily it had a cloaking deivce that lasted for 2 hrs. So when she did do her job she would be able to go to an incospicuos spot and fly away and load her ship.

Not to far from the Ld, and only 3 blocks from the 'site' she found a tall empy building still recivieg construction. She knew this was the best chance and didn't pass it up.

She got out of the cab and surveyed the area. So far only 10 stories were up and it was roofless. She looked around checking on the traffic senario.

There was a lot present, but not enough to hinder her and she no longer worried. She also noticed the work crew wrapping up. It was only 4'o clock, so at 5 was when the job suited her best.

Now, onto the site.

She walked the three blocks to a warehouse where the item was still located. Not knowing what exctly it was she knew her best chance to get this package, was to lie, she came up with the papers of being an agent and was to repossess the item. Luckily one of her old associates worked for the same ageny ans would cover her story.
Supposedly the original owner, had it removed from his possession unfairly and now wanted it back. He only told her to refer it as, his prize. She didn't care, she just needed to get it. But she also found out that the 'prize' was also illegal on her bosses planet and had to sneak it in.

She soon left tomorrow's plan in the back of her mindand started the trek to her ship. She looked at the time and saw she had about and hour left. And fished her phone out hoping he would call.

No sign yet. But she didn't despair too long. She returned the phone and continued walking.

Arik finished his... hell, who knew how many beers he'd had. It was a lot, and that's all that was to be known.

Finally, he told the bartender to stop bringing them, if he wanted to function tonight for whatever happened between him and Trini, he'd better not drink anymore.. He didn't want to fall asleep.. or worse.. barf all over her. That's always embarrassing.

So Arik threw down the credits he owed and started to stumble out of the bar. Oh yeah.. this will be good.

Once outside of LD he looked around for a pay phone. Unfortunately for him.. there wasn't one to be found. "Damn, this means I'll have to hoof it till I find one."

Arik started walking, although it had a bit of a stagger to it. He shook his head and was able to keep himself in a straight line. But somehow he managed to get into a alley. "This is good..." he mumbled to himself.

"Hey buddy.. why don't you give a man a dime?" Arik heard a voice behind him say, then he felt something press into his back.

"Is that a blaster in my back or are you just happy to see me?" He asked jokingly.

"I don't think this is a time for jokes man, now pay up!"

"It's always time for jokes, you just have to know when to crack them! Like your jaw!" Arik replied. Before the would be mugger gave his confused response, Arik spun around with his fist leading. It impacted with the man's face, sending him to the ground. As the man lay groaning he gave a few kicks to the stomach for good measure.

"Never fuck with a pirate."

Arik left the alley and walked some more, finally coming across a phone. He pulled out Trini's number and dialed it. After a few rings it was answered. He heard her on the other end give a hello.

"Hello, sorry if I'm a bit late, I ran into some easily fixed problems."

Trini smiled, hearing Arik's voice once again. But didn;t get too joyful over it.

"So what are you doing?" He asked her now leaning on the telphoe booth.

"Well Im headed to my ship right now, but I can meet you somewhere else if you want. Its not too important if I go back there now."

She now stopped walking and backed away from the roads, and leaned against the building.

"Well I'm not in the best of looks right now, and I don't wanna smell too much like beer and sweat if YOU don't mind waiting awhile."

"Hmm honesty, I admire that characterisitc in a man, besides. I was gonna tell you about the beer smell a little earlier, but I didn't want to upset you." Trini said.

Arik noting the sarcasm in her voice gave a little laugh on his end of the line.

"Well I thank you for telling me that I stink now, but I will take that as my cue."

He paused for a momet, then started back up again.

"Meet me in an hour, at the Flaming Dragon Hotel. It's not too far from the bar, and I'll be able to dhower and all that before you come."

" Okay I can do that. Do you have a room number," she asked ready to write down more info.

"Just meet me in the lobby. I don't plan on staying the night there. DOnt trust too many people besides I gotta get back to my ship tonight."

" I hear that," Trini said nodding her head in agreement. "But its settled, I'll meet you there in an hour, Bye"

"Bye," Arik said hanging up the phone.

As son as Trini hung up the phine she hailed a hover cab and hightailed it back to her ship. She knew that she had to ge a bit sexier for the occassion. Which would hopefully not disappoint her.

"Right, what do we do first?" Yelena leaned back in the booth.

"First, we eat. Then I will think of something," Tycho picked up a menu.

Yelena stared at this strange man. There was something about him that she wasn't quite sure of. He seemed all together, but distant. Calm, yet uneasy.

Why does he wear those goggles? What's he got to hide? I feel he's hiding something....And why do I have a weird feeling about this job? Yelena ordered a coffee and bagel.

"Something wrong?" Tycho smiled across at Yelena.

"Huh? Oh, no,"Yelena stirred her coffee and took a swig.

She kept a close eye on Tycho. Yelena had a slight problem with trust. Living on her own and being a pirate, you kind of develop the traits of independence and self-reliablity. Yelena was one to keep to herself. She was strong and cautious.

I hope for your sake that you don't have anything up your sleeves. I don't take kindly to weasles, Yelena continued to drink her coffee.

Trini made it back to her ship, along the way she took the security alarm off hold and ran into the cargo hold. Looking at a few of the items she held in there she knew to each person she had to deliever these to. After this last assignment, she would deliver them in order. But luckily about 3 of the people lived on Planet New York, but they were scattered around and therefore had to fly around the planet a bit more before she could leave.

So went to her small private hold where many of her cloths were located and got out a short leather skirt and blue top. She also took out a pair of calf high leather booths, a pair of fishnett hose and a long leather coat.

Although the planet didn't get too hot at night, she just wished to not draw too many eys to her person. She quickly took a shower and got dresses putting on her best scent. As she looked aoun her ship she began to speak with the command unit to check the status of all her missions.

"We have one unfinshed mission, and 6 deliveries pending. The first deliver must be made in two days, while the last is not promised until a week from today." the computers voice spewed out monotone and heavy voiced.

"Okay, well we will be right on schedule. The first item will be delivered tomorrow by midnight. So have the ship ready by seven and ready to go." She spoke back.

The ship comfirmed the departure time and she continued to get dressed in silence. Leaving the ship without her coat on she knew she had to rush out in order to be on time. She again locked the ship down and but it on alarm again.
Luckily on this planet people hadn't been stupid enough to break into the ships. But they had been stupid to mess with women.

"Hey lady going my way," a weird voice came from behind her and tred to hold back a bit of slurring.

"No, Im sorry, I;m going somewhere else. So please go away."

"Hey no problem sweety, but if you wish to have a bit of fun, I can meet you later."

"No thank you, I'm going to have plenty of fun tonight. With another friend."

She stepped away from the man and entered the hover car. DESTINATION: The Flaming Dragon Hotel

Arik had an hour. He had to get new clothes for this, his smelled to much like booze. After he hung up the phone he looked around frantically.

Unfortunately once again, there wasn't a clothing store around. "Damnit to hell I have the worst luck finding things!" he swore rather loudly. He ran to the street and hailed a taxi.

It was a rather large black man driving. "Where to bub?" He asked in a friendly tone.

"The nearest clothing store of good quality, and if you get me there quick enough, you get a large tip." Arik said quickly as he jumped in.

"You got it!" Before Arik had the door closed the car sped off at a high speed, flining him back. Well, it'll be quick..

In five minutes he was six blocks away from the Flaming Dragon. "That was quick.." he said, as he paid his fare, adding in a good supply of extra credits. "And if you wait a few minutes for me you can take me to the Flaming Dragon Hotel, with the same agreement."

"You bet." The driver said happily.

Arik ran into the clothing store. It was called the Gathering. Interesting name. In ten minutes he bought what he needed, which included a nice jacket, clean shirt, pants, socks and shoes. Back out he ran to the patient cabby. Where once again he was quickly transported. Once again he paid the cabby the same way. Good thing he has a good supply of money.

He made it to the front desk with plenty of time to spare.

"Can I help you?" The snotty looking clerk asked.

"Yeah a room please," Arik responded without a thought.

"Name?"

"Devon Arikson"

"How long are you staying?"

"Barely the night. How much?"

"250 credits."

"Daaamn.. alright." Arik said shocked. He quickly paid up and ran to his newly acquired room. Where he was able to shower, shave, and dress in a manly time of 20 minutes. And just to not be noticed, he took off his eyepatch. It might draw attention if he was a nicely dressed man with an eyepatch..

Finally he ran down to the lobby with about 10 minutes to spare. He sat down in a nice fluffy chair and found a magazine to keep him busy. There wasn't much, so he pick a copy of TIME, which oddly enough had his picture on it.

"Damn.. they put my face on it and I don't see a dime of it... what a scam."

Trini left the cab quickly and stood outside the hotel for a moment. Not wanting to grab the attention as being a whore she hurried up and covered herself with the leather jacket she grabbed off her ship. The hotel she noticed was fairly nice and had asian decor all over it, which she truly loved.

Less than a week and I'm on vacation, she reminded herself as she stared at the building.

Seeing she had only only a few minutes left. She strolled inside casually and headed to the lobby. Once inside she looked around for a man that looked like Arik. To her relief she, he wasn't there, or so she thought. And she went and sat down for a moment. Looking around for him to arrive.

A minute later, a tall gentlemen, stood up and put down a magazine, which had Arik's face on it. As she lookd at the man coming towards her, she immediately knew who it was and stood up.

"So I see you wanted me to come to you huh?"He said taking her hand.

"Well not really, is just you clean up so nicely, and not wearing the patch, I couldn't really recognize you."

"Lets just say I don't want to attact too much attention tonight. But one thing, was that a compliment you were giving me?"

"A half- assed one, if you don't mind too much," she laughed the facial expression he had given her, but then rectified the problem. "You look good," she said stepping in front of him and into his arms. She smelled the cologne coming off his body, and inhaled deep, becoming hypotised by the scent. "And not to mention. you smell good enough to eat."

Arik seeing the effect he had on her took advantage of the moment and kissed her on the lips. Although only a small kiss, to Trini it seemed like hours. Soon her whole body became flushed and she didn't want to let go of this moment. Not that love was taking over, but her hormones were going to get the best of her sooner or later if she didn't take control.

She stepped back from the kiss and took his hand in hers. She knew that by the end of the night she had to have him, but didn't know the events leading up to that time. To leave those feelings to later, they began to walk out of the hotel.

"So anything in particular you wanna do tonight?" arik asked, hailing a hover cab.

"Do you like dancing?" Trini asked, removing her coat as her hailed the hover cart. Trying to cool her body down. "If so I know a great place."

The lift hummed softly, gently placing a weight on it's occupant's shoulders. Trenton watched the numbers roll past on the panel above the door, still ignoring the chatter of his unit. The pressure on their bodies stopped suddenly and the doors slid open. Trenton walked quickly through onto the officers deck, continuing all the way to the end of the ajoining corridor this time. He walked swiftly through a door at the end, his team following close behind...

'Nice of you to join us on time for once sergeant.' commander Briggs sneered as the team of seven came into the briefing room and quietly took their seats. 'As you know we have some important issues to discuss...' The commander continued into his briefing while the highly trained specialists sat around the table, a tech of some form or another occasionaly jumping up and detailing some device or another, Trenton sighed, at least something was happening....

"Dancing....." Arik said, a bit dumbfoundedly.

"Yes, dancing, you know, where you let your body move to a rythm.. especially musical rythm.." Trini said rather sarcastically.

"I'm not much of a dancer.. I'm a pirate... I spend most of my life on a ship stealing things.." Which was pretty true. Arik never danced a beat in his life, and probably never would.

"I could always teach you to dance... or we could do something else." Trini said a little slowly, in case Arik's brain stopped working.

"No.. no.. dancing is fine.. we'll do the dancing." Arik said, wondering what the hell he just got himself into.

The two got into a cab, and Trini gave the location. The Blue Room.

Once they arrived, Arik could already feel the pulse coming from the place. "Oh god this is going to be loud..." Into the club they went. Where Arik was faced with lots of lights, loud music, and grotesque dancing. "Son of a bitch!" he said rather loudly, but no one heard him. Trini gave him a questioning look, but he just shook his head.

Already, Trini started to dance. Arik thought it looked more like a seisure. He wondered if anyone in one of these places ever had a seisure.. but no one knew about it. That would be disturbing.

Trini moved with grace, or what Arik classified as grace. It seemed like good fluid movement. She grabbed his hands and tried to get him to follow, but he instantly started to feel clumsy and started bumping into people and stepping on Trini's feet.

After two songs of this type of failure he gave an annoyed sigh and left the floor to get away from it. If there was one thing that was bad, it was a slightly pissed Arik.
