Trini seeing Arik a bit uncomfortable with the scene, followed him off the room and to the bar.

"Okay Arik, tell me truthfully do you wanna be here? Cause I dont wan this to be fun for just me. We came here together and we shoulld have fun together." She had to step real close to him and whisper in his ear. As he spoke she had to keep catching her breathe do to overdancing. But she spoke well enoughto get her point acroos.

" Well, its just that I dont dance too well, and I don't wanna imbarrass you or myself?" He said talking back in her ear.

"Well okay then, I can definitely rectify that problem.?" She said stepping back from Arik as he stayed seated looking at her.

She had used this techique once before, but wasnt sure if he would think it acceptable in public. As the music bumped on Trini slowly began to move, incorporating the beat with her movements. Her bpdy began to sway simultneously as she seemed to get more and more intoxicated by the music. She sson moved back toward Arik and began to dance on him as well.

He just sat back and relaxed, seemingly not too pissed y his public lad dance. Trini didn't care. One way or another she would make sure that Arik never forgot this nigh. And as she continued to move on him, she slowly felt her body begin to heat up.
Although she didn't know his exact though his body languege began to speak to her and she enjoyed what she saw. She dance continued a bit longer until she finally was close enough to kiss him.

This time shen she did it felt like a plug within her became loose and all the heat within her body flushed to every opening. She wanted Arik and wanted him bad. She had to have him tonight no matter what.

She released her lips from his and put her lips near his ear...

"Let's get outta here."

Arik didn't have to be told twice, and he pretty much could tell what she had in mind. He could see the sexual lust in her eyes.

He followed her out of the joint and once again found them in a cab. Where Trini was already on top of him kissing him passionately. He decided then that he wouldn't resist.

Before he knew it, they were back at the hotel he had a room at. Trini practically dragged him out of the cab and into the hotel where they got onto the elevator and repeated the cab scene.

Suddenly the world came back to Arik, and he found himself in his room with a very aroused Trini.

"No," he said to her.

"What?" She asked, confused.

"No, I can't do this!" He said as he started backing away.

"Why not?" Trini asked, getting frustrated.

"Because... because I'm married." He lied, and to him it seemed a terrible lie.

"No you're not," Trini said, calling his bluff.

"Alright, fine I'm not, but, I can't do this. The person I love died years ago, and I vowed never to be with another. I'm sorry," Arik said, and without another word, he walked out of the room.

OOC: I just realised that I refered to Caspian as a planet in one of my earlier posts. Sorry Warlock, I didn't realise that you meant a ship when you introduced it. Most of this post probally should have been in the recruitment forum but I hadn't thought of it then...

Trenton was standing at a desk on the Medical Deck of the Solaris. His briefing with Commander Briggs had finished some time ago and he, like his team had a couple of hours to kill before they were due to depart on the mission. When he had learned that Tanya, call sign Zero, had been injured in the skirmish Trenton decided to go see how she was doing. So here he was standing at one of many reception desks scattered around the deck, waiting for a young woman to tell him the room number.

Like Trenton, Zero had been left on the Navy's door step so to speak. With less than a year between them Tanya and James quickly grew quiet close. Going through training as soon as they could the pair made an unbeatable team. Their paths seperated for many months when Tanya specialized as a pilot and James moved into Special Ops, although they kept in contact their relationship grew more distant. When both Zero and Trenton were assigned to the Solaris on active duty, however, their friendship was rekindled and is stronger now then ever before.

'Room twenty-six, level ten of this deck sir.' The young red head turned to Trenton as she looked up from her terminal.
'Thank you ma'am.' Trenton continued down the corridor beside the desk and hailed one of the elevators at the end...

'....Lieutenant Jackson is to report to level fifteen of the Officer's Deck immediatly.'

'Mr Reilly's presence is requested on level twelve of the Docking Deck.'

'Flight Commander Welsh is required on the Navigation level of the Bridge.....'

The heavily filtered voice of the ships onboard computer echoed through the corridors of the Solaris, pausing occasionally in wait of a fresh list of announcements.

A radio bipep near his ear.

What now?

"Watch out, deary, her heart sounds like a heavy metal drummer on crack."

If Tycho still had his eyes, he'd have blinked.

"What the?" He muttered, suddenly noticing the recorder bug near the woman's hear

"What? What's wrong?" Yelena said, turning her head.

"Yikes!" She impaled the mecanical bug with her fork.

See what you've done! I hate overconfident AIs.

Trini sat on the bed. A bit disappointed but then and again not. She sat there and repeated in her mind what Arik had said to her. And knew that at this time things would not work out as she hoped. She really did like him alot but knew she had to open him up slowly. She knew she couldn rush things. Especially if she wanted to make him, hers.

She slowly walked out of the hotel room and down the stairs, she didn't want to take an elevator, the heat within it was proably still circulating and she couldn't stand to think about that right now.

When she got to the lobby, she looked around real quick hoping to spot him there. There was no sign of him, and she knew she may not see him again for a while. She walked outside the hotel and buttoned her jacket down. She didn't want to attract much more male attention as she had already done that night. She hailed for a cab and decided to go hit up the Ld again for one more drink before her job tomorrow.

She arrived there and went straight to the bar. She didn't look around for anybody. Gio was there again tonight, she looked at him.

"Sup Gio, give me a shot of tequila and the strongest Long Island Ice Teas you got... I need something to hit me hard."

Gio seeing the looke in her eyes knew not to ask any questions. He mixed the drink immediatly and gave her the shot with a slice of lime. She drank it quickly and began to sip on her L.I.T. it didn't take her too long to finish and soon she got another drink.

She didin't want to rememer the night so she tried to drown the memories, but knew one way or another she would get Arik. Slowly yet surely.....

Arik was again hitch hiking. He was going back to his beloved ship. The one thing in the galaxy that was simple to understand, and give him a companion. He now remembered why good pirates always stayed alone. But he had to admit, that Trini was alright.

Arik shook his head, he no longer wanted to have these thoughts.

An old man pulled up beside him and offered him a ride, which he graciously took. As they went they had the idle small talk, but nothing important.

Finally, he got dropped off not to far from the barn where his ship was staying. After another five minutes of walking he made it to it. He changed into his flight suit and hopped into the cockpit.

He flipped the necessary switches and the engines burst to life. He let the engines warm up for a few minutes, then rose, he didn't care about anything at the moment, and destroyed the barn on the way out.

After clearing the barn, he increased speed to get off the planet.

Soon, he was high above the planet, wondering where his next course would be to. That's when the alarm went off.

"Oh shit.." Arik started to push buttons, and soon discovered that the Navy was prowling, and searching several ships. Unlucky for Arik they were on their way to him. "Time to boogy."

Arik increased the speed at which he was going, and finally decided upon a place to go to. Planet Texas sounded good. It was a well populated place, but the Navy didn't have much there. At least he hoped it was still the same way it was several years ago.

As he sped along, his warp computers put in the coordinates, and activated the engines. Soon a warp hole opened and his ship slipped into it, closing the door behind him rather quickly.

Trini had enough drinks to suffice her for years and found herself going back to hr ship. As she entered it she went srt8 to her living area, Luckily the ship locked itself up after her entering for she forgot to lock it herself. She went straight to the couch unbuttoned her jacket and fell down on it. As she began to doze off. As she went into dreamland, sh began to see one man's face.

the first true love she had who ran out on her 5 years ago. He kept popping into her mind as she became more and more limp and drowsy. He didn't want to stay out of her head.

"Shit," she thought,"Now why are you here?"

The man never seemed to answer her but he began to laugh at her. His laughs haunted her. and like all her other nightmares she couldn't wake up.

She lay here. In her own sweat, tossing and turning. Hoping soon to wake up.

"Let's get out of here," Yelena stood up and put down some credits for the tip.

"Fine then," Tycho slid out of the seat and walked to the counter to pay for the meal.

The two walked outside and down the street. Yelena put her hands in her back pockets and looked up to see hovering cars and the thick smog. How she longed to see the true sky. It's magnifiant blue, pure white clouds, birds flying and chirping.

What am I doing? I am a pirate, a lone wolf. I wander the universes and galaxies alone..why am I with this mysterious man? Why did I accept this mission? Money? I guess, that's what I do...but still, I never accept help or hand outs or jobs from complete strangers.....What have I gotten myself into? Yelena pressed her fingers against her temples.

She was getting a headache from all the questions.

The harsh smell of sterilizing agents attacked Trenton's nose as he walked out into the corridor. He paused briefly before continuing down the corridor to his left. It didn't take the sergeant long to find the room he was looking for.

Trenton paused in doubt before rapping on the steel door of room twenty-six. Unlike most of the Solaris' personnel Tanya was entitled to a private room in the event that she become injured. This was one of the many perks of being an officer that Trenton had experienced too many times himself.

The door slid quickly into the wall beside Trenton, he peered tentavily into the room. Tanya opened her eyes slowly as she realised that she had company.

'Hey.' She croaked groggily.
'How ya' doin'?' Trenton asked gently and continued into the room. Tanya sat up a little, the affects of the medication beginning to wear off.
'Well I feel like shit and I think my arm might be broken.' She paused and looked down at the machine attached to her arm. 'So pretty normal I guess.'

'All in a days work.' Trenton chuckled. 'Have they told you how long its goin' ta' take to fix that one?' Trenton continued with mild concern.

'Naw, but I reckon it'll be around three hours.' Zero replied to Trenton, talking from experience. The small robot continued to work at the slender woman's arm, deciding the best way to deal with the damage. 'This one's not bad, you can at least recognise it as my arm this time.' Zero motioned with her free arm.

'We've finally been assigned to another special op.' Trenton studied the look on Tanya's face as he spoke, trying to read her emotions. 'Its a recon to a teraform facility not far from here, nothing special but the others are looking forward to it......'

Hobbes opened up the warp hole once again, and shot out of it. Slowing down to a steady pace outside Planet Texas.

Inside the cockpit of Hobbes, Arik looked around seeing very few ships entering or leaving the planet.

"Excellant, just the way I want it.. quiet." Arik said. He drew closer to the planet, and decided that he would be unorthidox and go to a landing bay.

He went through all the necessary checkpoints and finally landed on a pad, not to far from New Dallas. Luckily there was a Hover Car rental place at the landing dock, so he wouldn't have to do any hitch hiking.

He went through the steps and finally got himself a hover car, which he took back to his ship and loaded up with the remainder of his goods. Although Planet Texas was a slow paced planet, there were still some rich merchants and smugglers around that would buy his goods.

After loading the car he sped off to New Dallas, where he hoped to find someone to buy the remainder of his hot merchandise.

Trini awoke to the sound of her alamr clock. Although far away from her, the clock seemed to blast itself in her ear. She held her forehead and went to shut the clock off. On she went, tripping and stumbling, feeling the true effects of a night partying and drinking. The clock soon was right next to her and it rung so loud that her head felt its own marching band lived there.

"Damn, damn damn..." she said cussing at the machine turning it off. " I'm up."

As she stood there in her room, now very grogy she slowly inched herself to the kitchen. There she made a smothie and took planty of Advil to slear up the headache.

As she drank she looked at the time. Only 6 hours to go and Planet New York would soon be out of her eyesight. The her mind went immedialty to Arik.

"Where are you?" she said hoping that wherever he was, he would here her.

Heh....
Arik wasn't having a second thought about Trini at the moment. He was to busy enjoying his martini.

He finally had sold all of his hot merchandise and was now enjoying the profits at a bar, the only place he could relax. He downed the martini in his hand and quietly savored the olive in his mouth. It wasn't a natural Earth Greek Olive, but it was from Planet Greece, so it would have to do, even if it didn't taste the same.

He looked about the bar, it was a really nice bar, even had a gambling section to it. Arik wasn't much of a gambler, mostly a drinker.

He stood up in the whore free enviroment and walked to the gambling tables. He placed a few coins on a game of chance to see how he would do.

The wheel spun quickly, and the pointer landed on his number, earning him several more coins.

"Hm... that's cool." He said, finishing with this game. He picked up his won coins and looked around and saw a poker table. Poker, that was his kind of game.

He walked to the table and sat down, "Room for one more?"

His hand suddenly clasped over hers. He smiled broadly at her surprised discomfort.

"Stop worrying." He whispered.

She felt something molding around her wrist, which was yanked up as she attempted to reach for her blaster.

"Don't even think about it!" He said, grabbing her other hand. They started wrestling.

A bio-suit! And she'd walked straight into it! As they fought his goggles were knocked down and she gasped in surprised at the bionic eyes, who apparently stared at her for a second.

"Yup. That's me." He flashed her a grin.

"Okay, you asked for it!"

Okay, here it is. The grand fight scene XD Just remember you need to either knock Tycho out or cut the biosuit to free your wrist. Oh, and kicking in the groin will just hand hurting you XD Most other place are not too much of a problem: The suit it set into "Stick" mode. (well, not too much of a problem to hit, getting yourself free after is a wholly different matter XD. His head is uncovered, though.)

Trini shook Arik from her head and began her day. Knowing tha shehad to focus on her job and go on vactation kept her very excited. 5 hours left...and the planet ould be behind her....

She soon got dressed and stepped out into the city once more. It was about 12 noon when she stepped out and the city was still busy for a weekend. At least I'm not the only one working she said. She hailed a hover car.

"To the hover car factory please.." the driver oulled off the curb and drove there quickly. that diecrion of town was usual quiet, but getting back in would be a bit more difficult.

The driver made small talk." Looking to buy a hover car or rent one?"

"Just renting one for a day... I sish to see much of the city without paying these outlandish fees to do so..." A smallsmile came upon her face as the driver looked at her in the rear view mirror.

"I know... tell me about it, plenty of the driver will just rip you off in an instance." His comment was very slock and right on time, making her laugh. His hefty voice also cracked a small laugh and the rest of the journey was very easy going.

4 hours left...

The factory rented her the car she needed. but at a heft price, she spared it and went back into the center of the city. he building she needed was easily accessible but traffic was not as easy to let her back into the place. She grew increasingly upset. She as well as many other drivers became upset with the wait. Seeing that her time woulb be coming close, she cut thorugh a smaller alley way. There she cloacked the ship temporarily and increased the ground clearance, allowing her to now fly over the other cars...

3 hours left.

She landed at the building, now empty and relieved the cloak for only a while. She got geared up and left the ship. She finally made it to her destination.. She went insie and began her job. 2.5 hrs remaining....and everything would be smotth sailing.

"Let go of me!" Yelena struggled and twisted.

Tycho threw his head back and laughed. The two lay on the ground in the middle of the street and wrestled around. People stopped and watched, some shook their heads. Thinking it was some grotesque sex routine, which was normal for the slum city streets of New York.

Yelena sat ontop of Tycho's chest and delivered a punch straight into his jaw. Tycho's lip bled, but not blood. Yelena looked at him, puzzled. Tycho weilded his arm into the air and carried Yelena, slamming her onto the ground behind him. He spun around and jumped to his feet. Yelena hopped to her feet and glared at Tycho.

"We having fun?" Tycho's bionic eyes spun in excitment.

"Why are we fighting?" Yelena couldn't recall how this fight got started.

"Just wanted to see what you're made of," Tycho and Yelena circled around one another.

"Fine then. Have at it," Yelena swung her body around and reeled Tycho into a parked hover car.

She then rushed up to him and head butted him in the forehead. He stumbled back and regained his composure. He grabbed Yelena's throat and backed her up into the building. She glared at him and brought her free hand up into Tycho's nose, freeing her throat.

Tycho's eyes flickered with anger and he started to run down the sidewalk, dragging Yelena with him. He then stopped abruptly and swung his arm around and sent Yelena through a store window. The glass shattered beneath Yelena's bruised and cut up body.

"Heh, c'mon pirate!" Tycho reached down and pulled Yelena up by her braid.

"Uhh,"Yelena reached down and picked up a large shard of glass,"You son of a bitch!"

"Huh?" Tycho blinked.

Yelena swung her free hand around and slashed Tycho's attatched wrist. Yelena stumbled back and fell over the display furniture. She looked down at her wrist and saw Tycho's hand and bio suit still attatched from her suit.

"Uuugghh!" Yelena shook her arm free of the hand and stomped on it.

"Hmm," Tycho held his amputated arm, "No matter."

Tycho charged at Yelena. She stood fast and crouched, extending her right arm in front of her, the left arm to the left side of her body. Yelena gracefully stepped to the side and spun around to smack Tycho in the back of the neck with her leather bounded braid.

Tycho crashed through another pane of glass and into the street. Yelena jumped out onto the side walk. Her hand bleeding from the deep laceration from the glass.

"Hmm," Tycho stood up and smiled.

Hey! I need that...

"That wasn't very nice of you." Tycho said neutrally.

His suit quickly covered the large bleeding wound, stopping the blood flow.

They started circling again. Tycho madly scanned the area for a weapon he could use with his left hand. Then he remembered a nasty move from an old holovid. As he walked over some plastimetal bar someone dropped in its attempt to avoid being hitten, he dazzingly spun around while pinching it between his feet. Surprised by the strange move, the women didn't react quickly enough and her legs were swept from under her. She fell on her back with a grunt.

"And now..." With a fancy foot movement, Tycho sent the bar up, catching and readying it to knock her out, but she was more rapid, rolled out of the way and attempted to point her blaster at him, but a well-aimed blow sent the weapon flying into the crowd.

"One everywhere." She pointed out.

Okay, I suppose that's what I get for starting that kind of fight. Be assured Tycho'll be after you for a while after that, though. I think it's time for the patrol to intervene before more parts are sent to land unknown XD

"Ugh," Yelena quickly jumped to her feet.

"More?" Tycho giggled.

"Oh you know it," Yelena smiled wickedly and rushed to attack.

She was in mid air when she felt a strong grasp around her waist. She was jerked backwards and onto a police vehicle.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything that you say will, and can be, used against you in the court of law. If you do not have a lawyer, the court will provide you with one. Do you have a problem with your rights?" the police officer cuffed Yelena.

Yelena sighed and looked over a Tycho who was also being forced to the ground and read his rights. His face read the same expression as Yelena's, annoyed.

"Yeah, I have a problem...Well, it's your problem," Yelena smirked, "I'm a pirate, I don't abide by your laws!"

Yelena rolled around on the car, swinging her legs in the air and clubbed the officer in the face. Tycho smiled and kicked the police officer in the back of the head. Yelena bent down and carefully unhooked the key ring from the officer's belt and stood up.

"You're crazy!" Tycho got up and ran after Yelena.

"Shut up and run!" Yelena yelled over her shoulder.

Trini looked at her clock once again. 2.5 hrs. and then I will be able to go away from this crazy places.
She walked into the storage facilit, the security gaurd stepped out. She walked up to him handing him a bogus stack of papers, wonderfully and creatively put together by the NY Agent.

" I'm here to pick up the items from storage unit number...."she shuffled through the papers making sure she had the right storage number. " Sotrage number X22-55FR6..brought in on the 12th of Sept, two years ago."

"And for what purpose are they being picked up?" He asked retreiving the papers from her and looking through them. She soon looked back up at her. She was dressed in a black suit, with a white shirt underneath. Her hair was in a bun and she wore glasses.

"Sir I don't have clearance to give you all the information. She said, but here is my identification, my name is Trini Bardon, Agent # 255XDAS... I have been ordered to get this package for and investigation...thats all you need to know. If you dont believe me call my supervisor...David Marsen... here's the number."

She handed the guard a card. Also done by David, her friend from the agency. He turned into the office and picked up the phone. She got the operator and he was directed to Davids desk.

Things went smoothly and soon the gaurd got off the phone.

He turned to her and went to retrieve the package.

"Be out in about 5 minutes." He turned and went into the facility.

---------------------------------------------------------------

He soon returned with a small package in his hands. And he set it down in front of him.

"Okay please sign these papers...and you may go."

"Thank you sir," she quickly signed the paper. And picked up the package. She turned to walk away but then remembered. "Oh yes, I need a copy of that paerwork please, before I go."

He copied all the papers, she got the facsimiles while he kept the original.

"Thank you again."

She left the building quickly and walked a ways back to the still cloaked hover car. She got back in and began to fly off.

Less than 2 hours and I'll be gone.....YES!" She found an alley and re-enter the traffic. Destination, the rental factory, and then her ship and home.

She had an hour before departure and she was already back at her ship. She dropped the package in the cargo hold and changed clothes. The suit was now dripping with sweat that she had accumulated in the sun. She put on some shorts and and a shirt, " Prepare for take-off."

The ship prepared all systems... "Planet Tokyo, here I come."

'You took your time.' Ghost taunted Trenton as he jogged up the ramp of the freighter and slid into a chair. The ship was fully loaded and prepping its engines.

'Worried you weren't goin' ta show.' Jet smirked back from the pilot's seat, punching buttons as he did so.

'Sorry, I had trouble getting through flight control.' Trenton lied and began lashing webbing around his body.

'Again? They really need to revise that, I mean it can't be working if a commanding officer isn?t allowed to board his own ship.' Tallin spoke up, his naivety of the way the navy worked obvious to the others.

'Here we go.' Jet warned the others as the doors hissed and resealed the cabin. The freighter slowly lifted off the ground and spun towards the docking doors before unleashing a sudden burst of speed that wrenched its occupant's stomachs.

The freighter is a fairly large, angular vessel that has been modified to carry two 'Fox' class light fighters. In addition to its cargo areas the ship consists of two bedrooms crammed with bunks, food prep and eating area and the cockpit; which contains enough seats for nine people. The freighter itself has no weaponry.

'You got that?' Jet leaned over Tallin's shoulder as he entered a string of coordinates into the computer, unlike newer vessels the freighter does not have an AI based control system.

'Yeah, I think so.' Tallin answered a little unsurely.

'It looks right.' Jet leaned back over from the co-pilot seat and pressed a couple more buttons. 'We should be there in about an hour guys.' Jet exclaimed as he stood up. 'Whose up for some grub?'

'Sounds good.' Ghost undid he webbing and lead the way into the kitchen, Trenton followed with the others, his mind back on the Solaris and the reason he was really late, a meeting he had just had with Flighter Officer Welsh. With the information he had just recieved Trenton couldn't help but dread the events that were about to take place...

"Room for one more?" the man asked, pulling a chair out and sitting.

"Yeah." Ry responded beginning to deal out the cards to the local riff-raff and the newcomer, as every placed thier bets in the middle of the table.
"The names Ry, and you are?"

The newcomer took a look at his hand, then looked up at Ry.
"Names Arik."

Ry gave a small chuckle, and put his cards face down.
"I bust..You look much like a pirate, where's the rest of your gang?"

Arik placed his card face up, showing a 21, he scooped up the credits, as all the other eithe groaned or just left. Arik gave a smile at his winnings
"Thats cool...Oh, I dont work in a pack. Stupid idea.''

Ry nodded, and folded his arms across his chest, smiling.
"You got my credits, I'm out. Anyways, I'm with you on the pirate thing. So...What brings you to New Dallas?"

Arik eyed Ry a bit, then just shrugged.
"I usually dont give my personal agenda out to Smugglers, even if they are damn good...Its my policy"

Ry nodded in agreement, picking up his rather large mug of Whiskey, and taking a large drink. He let out a small sigh and dealed out another round of Poker. Everyone putting a bet in the middle.
"Thats commendible"

Arik gave a quick nod, looking at his card, he set them face down and smacked the top of the table.
"Bust.."

Ry smiled and laughed, and pulled the winning over to his part of the table, the others either folded or busted. A pity, but Ry got his earnings back. He ordered a waitress over and ordered a round of drinks for everyone at the table.

"Logos, is everything ready," She sat up front, and began to check out the controls.

"All systems are functional and the ship is ready."

"Good," she sat down and fastened herself in, taking off was allways the roughest part of the flight. "Radio to the tower were ready to leave." The ship signaled the tower while she flipped through her CD chip book looking for music from the 21st Century. She was a fan of their dance music and she loved the classics. She found Darude and popped it in. The chip played low until she received confirmation from the tower.

"Logos, your cleared to leave, Follow the lights to your departure point."

She quickly took the controls and lifted off. The ship was a pice of work but she enjoyed her piece of freedom. The shipped moved slowly and she looked around seeing many other ships..Some coming in other waiting to go out. Some she remembered some she didn't.

As the ship began to move on she noted her first destination before her vacation.

"Ship when we leave the port, our destination is New Manhattan," the Logos made the computations and was complete with the route as soon and they left.

Trirn sighed a bit and turned up her music happy to be almost free.

"Well, you may need to run, but I neither want or need to." Tycho said, attempting to punch her.

"What a prat!" She said, apparently not taken aback. "How is that?"

"First, I'm a well-known pirate-Buster, second, my hand is still back here, you bitch." He tried tripping her, but she jumped over him and *disappeared*.

Tycho stood a moment, just scanning the areas until he looked down and saw that she'd jumped inside an open manhole. Sticking his head inside, he heard faraway sloshing sounds. He grunted and walked back to the fight scene.

"She escaped." »He told the policeman. "She disappeared in the sewers."

"What were you having a swing at her for?" THe policeman asked.

"Not sure. She surprised me when I manacled her with the biosuit." He walked to the broken window and picked up his hand. A young recruit turned away sharply and produced a retching sound. "Now if you'll excuse me. I have to get to a clinic ASAP."

Yelena bolted down the sewers. Her footsteps became muffled by water. Rats crawled to find drier ground. Yelena thought the events over.

That son of a bitch! He just offered me that job so he could bust my ass. How could I have been so obtuse? "Oh well, I still have another job to do," Yelena climbed onto the sidewalk of the sewer.

She lifted the heavy steel and poked her head from the hole. She estimated she'd taken a wrong turn for she did not recognize this part of the city. It was empty and run down, the ghettos. No matter, Yelena emerged from the manhole and onto the streets.

Yelena reached into her backpack and pulled out her compact communications device. She flipped the screen/mirror open and lifted up the powder to reveal a miniature keyboard. She typed in the name 'Ry' to make sure the info she had downloaded in the bar was still in the drive. Information poured onto the screen.

"Perfect....*pressing the speaker/receiver button* Cham, start systems," Yelena pulled up the mapping of the city and started to make her way back to her ship.

"Here's your package sir...and.." Trini said speaking softly in a small cafe in New Manhattan.

"Great, great," the man said placing his cigar in the ashtray while he grabbed his newly acquired item. He slowly unwrapped it but not within veiw of those around him.

His eyes glistened with happiness and greed as a small smile showed up on his face. He slowly leaned beside him a grapped a small bag. He took out an enevlope and handed it to Trini.

"Thank you," she said quickly opening it and checking the contents. "It looks to be the right amount so I'll trust you."

"After all you've done for me you still don't trust me." He siad puffing on his cigar once more.

Before she could answer the waiter came with the check. The man paid the tab and the waiter went on his way.

"You know me, I barely trust myself."

He laughed a bit and then stood up. Trini went along with him. They both left the cafe together and parted outside, he still caring and puffing his cigar.

"Well this is where we part." A black hover car came to pick the man up. "He began to climb in," Oh, I shall soon have another job for you."

"Give me about 2 weeks and I'll be open."

"I don't think it can take two weeks, I need you immediately, a certain man stole a piece of me and I want it back."

"Who is this man," she asked stepping closer to him.

"He's a pirate, and I know where he know is,, when will you be available?"

"I have about 3 days then I'll be open."

"Good you'll have the info then, I'll send them to you ship. BYE."

Before more could be said, the guy left and Trin slowly waled back to here ship.
