Since the dawning of their existence, mutants; the homo-superior, have lived in secret, fearful of what ordinary man would do to them. Many have lived in fear of themselves, and in shame. While some can hope to simply conceal and ignore their powers, there are some whose powers manifest on their physical person. They, unfortunately, are forced to stay in hiding, unable to risk contact with ?normal? people. Then, there are the mutants who accept? even embrace their gifts, and want only to thrive in the world. Unfortunately, these mutants often have different perspectives on what ?thriving? actually entails.

There are some mutants who which to live in peace with humans, and to use their gifts for the good of man. One such mutant is Charles Xavier, who has opened a ?School for the Gifted? in Westchester, New York. Here he takes in young mutants wishing to develop their powers and learn acceptance. Then, there are the mutants who see themselves as superiors, and who wish to thrive in the place of humans. With these mutants, a confrontation between them and human kind was only inevitable. Charles Xavier and his students have struggled for years to prevent this confrontation? but they could not do so forever.

It is unknown how exactly humans discovered that mutants existed. They did not take to it well. World leaders gathered, some stressing total elimination, some stressing mutant registration, and a very few stressing acceptance for mutants. All the while, Charles Xavier battled diligently to achieve mutant rights, but it turned out all to be in vein. At one particular meeting, several World Leaders were attacked, and many even killed, by a team of mutants, lead by a mysterious man who wore a helmet that shadowed his face, dressed in red and purple. All that is known about this man is that he had the ability to fly, and seemed to be able to move objects with his mind. Those at Xavier?s School for the Gifted knew it to be Magneto, and Xavier was furious at his former friend for doing something so sinister.

Ironically, it would be Xavier?s school that would suffer. It was obvious to the American government that Charles Xavier, who had been campaigning for mutant rights for months, was housing mutants in his ?school?. So, on the night of November 10th 2003, Xavier?s School was attacked by a large team of soldiers. In a battle that lasted most of the night, all mutants who were not killed or captured were driven out of the mansion. Now scattered and alone, the mutants of Xavier?s school are spread across New York City, and are trying desperately to regroup with each other. It is unknown what has happened to Charles Xavier, but none of his students seem to be able to contact him.

Okay, you have the choice of being one of Xavier's students (who are all currently on the run in New York, being chased by armed soldiers), or you can be one of the Brotherhood (a group of mutants working for Magneto) or you can be unaffiliated.

I will allow people to make up their own powers if they want, but I will be very strict on how powerful you can be. If I see powers which [B]I[/B] consider to be too strong, I will ask you to change them. You can also take the powers of an existing mutant, but have your own character... or you can be an existing mutant if you want. I will also allow someone to be Xavier if they want (whomever does this will get a PM of Xavier's situation), however, no-one can be Magneto I'm afraid, as I want control of him to ensure the RPG doesn't get out of hand.

[B]Powers:[/B] Craig is a mutant with the ability to teleport himself, the clothes he is wearing, and, additional mass which is in contact with him.
He has a very limited unconscious extrasensory ability that prevents him from teleporting himself so that his feet, for example, would materialize below the surface of the ground.
Craig also has the ability to climb walls, camouflage himself in darkness (as his fur is dark blue), and see clearly in perfect darkness.
Craig is a superb athlete and an Olympic-class acrobat. He can do a standing high jump of about 8 feet. He is skilled at hand-to-hand combat and is a master at fencing, which he can even perform with his tail. His spine is also re-inforced to allow him to stand in a crouched position without harm to his back.

[B]Bio:[/B] Craig Wagner was born with certain unusual physical characteristics, but his power of self-teleportation did not emerge until puberty. Margali Szardos, a gypsy queen, found Craig an hour after his birth, in a small roadside shelter in the Bavarian Alps. She found his father, Eric Wagner, dead of a heart attack on the road outside. Margali is said to have found Wagner's mother lying next to the baby and dying, but this assertion has been called into question, and not even Craig knows the truth. Margali took the baby to the small Bavarian circus where she worked as a fortuneteller as a "cover" for her activities as a sorceress. Craig was never legally adopted by anyone, but was raised by all the members of the circus, who had no prejudices against "freaks." Margali acted as Craig's unofficial foster mother.

Craig grew up happily in the circus, and his two closest friends were Margali's natural children Stefan and Jimaine. Long before his teleportation power emerged, Wagner had tremendous natural agility, and by his adolescence he had become the circus's star acrobat and aerial artist. Circus audiences assumed that he was a normal-looking human being wearing a demon-like costume.

One day, outside of Winzeldorf, Germany, Craig was approached by a group of men wishing to see what he "really" looked like. In the struggle that followed, Craig unintentionally broke one of their necks. The people in the area dubbed him a demon, and began to attack him, when they were all mentally paralysed by Charles Xavier, who asked Craig to join him in the X-Men.


[B]Description:[/B] Craig is 6' tall, 215 lbs. He has shining yelow eyes (no visible pupils), and indigo hair. He has only 3 fingers (including an opposable thumb) on each hand, and only 2 toes, each longer than an ordinary human's, on each foot. Nightcrawler also has a prehensile tail about 3 1/2 feet long, which can carry his own weight. His body is almost entirely covered with a fine indigo-colored fur, making him so dark that he seems to blend into deep shadows. Nightcrawler also has pointed ears and pronounced fang-like canine teeth. His spine is more flexible than an ordinary human being's, allowing him to spend much of his time in a semi-crouching position without damaging his posture.


[B]Personality:[/B] Craig is lighthearted and laid back, and those who can get over his odd appearence often find him to be very trustworthy and humerous. He does, however, have an extraordinary temper, but it is not easily triggered. A perfectionist, he spends a lot of time training and perfecting his skills.

Powers: Rogue; the ability to take away the life force of another. This will easily destroy normal humans and will steal away the energy and gifts of mutants. Depending on how long she grasps another individual with her bare skin on theirs will determine how long her powers last. One minute translates to one hour.

Bio: The daughter of an unknown male mutant and a very powerful mutant named Moon Chaser, she is both egnimatic and distant. She knows about her mother's past, but knows absolutely zilch about her father, but given the current state of being, that might be a good thing. She can be erratic at times, but knows where her loyalties lie and does her best to fufill her responsibilities and obligations. She will fight at the drop of the hat to protect the ones she loves, and her instincts have never steered her wrong in this sense.

Powers: He has powers like Ororo Munroe's . He can create twisters, and control wind. He can only do things mostly to do with wind. His eyes turn black when he does this, and all day he could use his power. He can make twisters from not only the sky, but make them appear from the ground too. He can also fly through the air quickly (much faster when useing his twisters).

Origin: Not really known, but maybe New York.

Known family: Ororo (Mother), and he doesn't know his father.

Bio: He's known alot about his past, but his father. He used to draw pictures of his father when he was little, until he overheard a conversation Storm had with someone else, and then threw all his thoughts about his father behind. The worst thing was being a mutant, and having no clue of who your father was. He grew up training with his own shadow (well, I mean himself really.), and learnt to control his power more. He like his mother, cool and calm, but deep down he's angry enough to kill everyone that is non-mutant. But he has to live with them, and so fair he's been find. SO far, but HOW far can he go with them?

Personality: Angry mostly. Very light on people sometimes, and hates humans. No matter what people say, he hates them. He just does. Sometimes, he can never dig up a reason why. But mostly he's ok around them, but he just wishes he can burn them all or blow them away. He hates them alot. He's just like his mother alot.

Powers: He has the abiltity of a bat. He has Large Bat wings and he has bat ears for super sonic hearing, he also has small claws. The only thing that isn't like a bat is his long tail. He usually doesn't sleep during the day, but does sleep upside down.

Bio: Adam was born the way he is now. He had a Mom and a Dad who loved him even though he had black fur and wings. They stayed Icolated from human contact by living on the out skirts of a small town. When Adam was 6, he wandered into the town and was discovered by the towns people. Later, a mob attacked his home, demanding to know what he was. In their frustration and fear, someone accidentally caught the house on fire. Adam was the only one who was saved. The leader of the town sent him to his uncles house where he was treated like crap. His Uncle Pat made him a slave in his own home because of his odd abilities. When Adam was 10 he ran away from his Uncle's house and escaped to canada where he stayed in hiding until he was found by other mutants who offered him a place to live where he could learn to control his mutation, he joined them.

Personality: Adam is a carefree guy who like to joke around, even though his jokes don't always make sense. he is headstrong and never gives up on anything or anyone. He doesn't care when he is insulted, he lets it roll off his sholder, but when his friends or anyone else is insulted... well... you don't want to be around him. Humans do bother him, but he doesn't hate most of them.

[b]Bio:[/b] Van grew up in a fairly normal childhood. He appeared completely normal until his mutant powers began to manifest themselves. When Van was 12 years old his house and his family was robbed by a group of armed and masked youths who forced their way into his home and demanded all the valuables there-in. His parents co-operated, but were shot when the siren of a patrolling police vehicle startled the youths. Van just stood still as 3 youths took aim and fired at him, he saw the bullets seemingly slow as they came towards him and he moved to avoid them, all moved past him without any damage. The youths were freaked and just took their loot and left the house moments afterwards. Van ran outside and called after the squad car to stop and come help his parents. An ambulance and emergency personnel were called to his home, however it was too late, his parents were dead. The police examined where Van had observed the shooting from and found 6 bullet holes in the wall behind where he had stood. The youths were found and charged but this made little difference to Van.

3 months later Van was sent to live with his father's brother Ben Ambrose in New York. His father and Ben had started a computer company and his Uncle still ran. The day Van arrived at his Uncle's shop and asked to speak to Ben, his uncle just came up and hugged him, welcoming him to his new home. Two got on well ever since, Ben was a nice guy most of the time and the two got on quite well but he had a tendency to drink a little too much and when he did it was not a pretty sight. Ben was 6'6 and a really strong guy and when he'd had a little too much to drink he could turn a little violent. Van had right to be afraid of his uncle and even though he had trained in martial arts since he was 7, his uncle's brute strength was often enough to over power Van. Despite all these flaws in their relationship the two actually acted like a family most of the time and enjoyed one another's company. However recently Van has realised that he needs the companies of other people like him and has accepted Professor Xavier's offer to become a student at his school. After the destruction fo the school Van has fled back to his uncle and is now staying with him along with several other mutants who were with him when the fled the attack.

He is quite athletically built, stands just 6'1" in height and is considered to be very good looking. He usually wears a pair of grey jeans, military style black boots and a grey t-shirt. Over his hands he wears black gloves cut at the fingers.

[b]Powers:[/b] Quicksilver possesses superhuman strength primarily in his lower body as part of his body's adaptations for running. With his upper body he can lift (press) approximately 1000 pounds. He can leg press approximately one ton under optimal conditions.

Quicksilver is a mutant who possesses the superhuman capacity to think and move at great speeds. His entire body is adapted towards the rigors of high-speed running. His cardiovascular and respiratory systems are many times more efficient than those of a normal human being. He metabolizes an estimated 95% of the caloric energy content of foodstuffs (normal human use is about 25%). The chemical processes of Quicksilver's musculature are so highly enhanced that his body does not generate fatigue poisons, the normal by-products of locomotion, which force the body to rest. Rather, his body constantly expels waste products during his accelerated respiration through exhalation. His joints are smoother and lubricated more efficiently than those of a normal human being. His tendons have the tensile strength of spring steel. His bones contain unknown materials significantly more durable than calcium to withstand the dynamic shocks of his feet touching the ground at speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Quicksilver's practical reaction time is about five times faster than a normal human's and the speed at which his brain processes information is heightened to a level commensurate with his bodily speed, enabling him to perceive his surroundings while traveling at high velocities. Quicksilver's lachrymose is more viscous than normal, thus preventing rapid evaporation and replenishment of surface fluids on his eyeballs under the influence of high wind velocity to occlude his vision.

Quicksilver has been timed at speeds of up to 175 miles per hour, approximately three times faster than the fastest land animal, the cheetah. He has sufficient energy reserves to enable him to run at this average speed for about four hours, whereupon he must reduce his speed, replenish his body's store of energy, or do both.

Quicksilver has used his powers of acceleration for various feats. He has plucked an arrow out of the air from a standing start, after the arrow left the bow and traveled a distance of about 20 feet. He has dodged machine gun fire, but presumably he was able to see the path of the bullets change as his assailant was attempting to track him with a burst. He has created cyclone-like gusts of wind, which are able to knock a man off his feet, by racing around in a ten-foot diameter circle. With a 500-foot approach to gain momentum, Quicksilver can run approximately 300 feet up the side of a surface with a 90-degree inclination (such as a building) before gravity overtakes him. With a 100-foot approach to gain momentum, he can run across a body of water for approximately 1000 feet before beginning to sink.

Powers: Wolverine, can heal herself after every wound is inficted in her. but was also give a little gift.

Bio: Born to a good family, "Azaria" what she know calls herself. Was the only girl. Growning up in her family she excelled at schoolwork from a young age, but was little for her size. So to keep her from being picked on. Not only from her brothers but from other she, like her siblings, was enlisted in a martial arts class.
From the get go she loved it and soon not only did her mind growbut so did her body and she was soon able to stand up for herself. But kept a cool demeanour. She never showed off her skill like other kids and never fought. She used her martial arts for their true reason. To defend herself.
Still keeping up her grades and her study she soon also began to incorporate weapons and loved working with Samuria swords the most. Although her kendo stick was with her all the time. She never too much practiced with her brothers, but kept it one on one with her instructor who taught he much.
But when she reached 15 she noticed that every cut she sutstained began to heal quickly leaving no scars. And even many of her classmates noticed the samee thing. Especially if she did a weird stunt in which they know she got hurt.
Soon people began seperating from her. And she soon was seen as a freak, but never picked on in front of others. They knew how serious she was about fighting and hey knew they didn't stand a chance confronting her so they left her alone.
Soon aftr gradutaing she left to join the Armed Forces where she became and Intelligence Agent. There she was revered and respected, but most of all no one knew about her powers until one day a freak accident happened leaving her shot in the right arm.
As people looked over her they saw her wound heal right in front of them and noticed her gt up. Wiping the blood off as if it wasn't hers. Her secret was up and she was captured. For years, decaed it seemed she was trapped. They did countless experiments on her body seeing to what extent she could heal herself. Soon they made her out to become a secret weapon for their use.
Her skeletal system was grafted with an undestructible alloy. She didn't realize what they had done till she woke up, a few days after the operation. She could feel the metal under her kin and after moving her hand a certain way. Five thin pieces of the metal shown themselves from her nails. Growing to be 14 inches long.
She laid ther hurt and waiting. Waiting to get revenge. She soon got it, and single-handedly escaped the facility. She soon found the quickest way out of Japan and left for America.
Not really knowing her past from before being locked up she searched but nothing turned up for her. Her identity had been erased from her and her family no where to be found. So to keep others from finding her she changed her name and now wonder America. Living as a teacher. Hoping that here she would be safe.
But that doesnt not last and she's on the go again. Hoping that one way or another life would deal her a good hand.

Personality: Cool and calm, doesnt open up to many people but when she does she knows she can trust you. On a bad day...you dont wanna know.
Description: About 5'8" Long dark straight hair. Dark eyes. Of course she is Asian looking.... and she has an atlethic body. But is still very attractive.

Apperance: Randy is tall and very thin. his skinn is pressed tight to his body due to his mutant ability. he kinda looks almost like a flesh covered skeleton. he has thin long red hair and somewhat sunken in green eyes. Though his appearance is somewhat ghastly if you get to know him he is quite a nice guy.

Mutation/Powers: Manipulate, Control, and Create gravity and gravitational force/wingless flight.

Biography: Randy was a scout passing through the solar system when he botched on his ship piloting and crashed into a satellite causing him to fall down to earth landing with a large crash into central park. he'd been there several years learning about humans and such finding out they weren't much different from his kind. He learned mainly what he needed too their general customs and government then entered their society. he told people he had a metabolism problem and they seemed to accept that. Not much is known about his child hood or about his home since he's an alien he doesn't like to talk about it to earthlings.

[b]Powers:[/b] Havok is a mutant with the superhuman ability to absorb ambient cosmic energy into the cells of his body, transform it in an unknown manner, and release it as waves of energy that heat the air in their path enough to turn it into plasma. (Plasma is a super-heated state of matter consisting of charged subatomic particles.) These waves will emanate from his body in all directions unless he purposefully tries to channel them in a single directions, usually along the length of his arms. Havok is himself immune to the intense heat he creates. Whether he is immune to intense heat from other sources is not yet known.

Havok can use the energy he emanates in two different ways. When Havok strikes an object with the waves of intensity of hot plasma, the sudden vast jump in temperature will often cause objects to shatter, explode, or seemingly disintegrate . He can also use his energy as a concussive force much like that whicwhich comes from cyclops eyes.

[b]Description:[/b] Jack is 6?2? and weighs about 200lbs. He is extremely muscular but not bulky with each of his muscles clearly defined. His size and shape give him and amazing combination of strength and speed. He straight blonde hair with the front flicked up and icy blue eyes. When Jack gets excited or angry his eyes begin to glow with a different colour blue, this is his energy flaring up ready to come out. Usually wears a black or white tank or vest top with blue jeans.

[b]Personality:[/b] Jack is a very determined and strong minded guy. When he sets his mind to something, he almost always achieves it. Is deadly serious when it comes down to helping his friends and would put his own life on the line to save them. But when Jack isn?t developing his powers in the danger room he is always finding ways to have fun. Always laughing and joking around and generally fun to be with.
