Assassin
Yes I know. I got crazy with the same background. But please just mainly look at the stock image. Also comments and criticism is totally alright with me.
Hittokiri Zero
Why would I look at the stock image if i thoroughly dislike the stock image x__X... Unless you made the stock image... but then it wouldn't really be a stock image... well it kind of would but then again it wouldn't but that's besides the point ^_^. I don't really like the positioning or the stock image in general, and the black and white in the background don't contrast well. The backgrounds itself could use alot of work same goes for the text... eh and possibly a border would be nice.
Assassin
Thanks Zero, the criticism axually helps. I forgot to put a border around this banner of mine. I agree also that the background with the black and white does not go well together. I usually use "Overlay" and fiddle around until I find something I like. I axually like the stock image because its from X-men Evolution one of my favorite series.
Hittokiri Zero
Ah I see i'm not a big X-men guy anymore... I used to use overlay alot really depending on the effect/color scheme you want you should tinker around I often use the blend modes "screen" and "soft light". If I do use overlay the layer set to overlay is usually turned down a tad bit in opacity. {really there's nothing wrong with "overlay" just remember to stay away from "color dodge" and for the most part "color burn"}. Assassin
Yes I agree " Color Burn and Color Dodge" can some times mess up your image. In recent work I tried both of them and they totally messed up on the image. Also I love X-men Evolution for the most part. So I decided to use one of the "Non-Lovable" characters that some people just don't like. I axually like it.
