?Many humans live their lives in complete submission that creatures of darkness are figments of an over-reactive imagination ? or things to scare children and others with on a frequent basis. However human?s, with so many little faults, are vain and dangerously stupid when it comes to these sort of things ? they never look beyond their small lives, they don?t see things like you and me do. Look around, what do you see? You can?t explain it can you? You can see what I see, you and me share one thing in common?we?re not human.

Don?t look so shocked, you?ve always known you were different from the other humans. You found you could defy the nature of humanity, being able to do things which you thought were impossible ? defying all of humanities weaknesses. People steered away from you ? yet you?re a person who no one could fault? In school, collage or work you were the ?freak? or ?weirdo? who never seemed to do anything but work? You were bullied cause you appeared different?but there was nothing wrong with you?

What I?m basically saying, is that these are all traits that signify you as different?like I said, you are not human, I am not and neither is anyone else in this room? the girl pauses, takes a breath and looks up.

?You see, several hundred years ago humans were fully aware of vampires, werewolves, ghosts, monsters, daemons and the whole lot?and there was a balance between the two races?not exactly the most fairest of balances but enough to keep us going and in check. But balances never last for long, cause we..like humans don?t always agree on certain terms.

Things started to change, the balance was disrupted by the humans?.the first result was the over-throwing of the Vampire Lords and the Monster Lords. Human?s decided that we were their enemy, and we had to be destroyed. None of us at the time realised that it was in fact a Daemon Lord who had manipulated them to his will. Slowly everyone and everything was pushed back and killed, we dwindled in numbers and soon only me and five others remained.

We hid ourselves in caves and became known as wraiths, warning all to stay away. Eventually we learned that the Daemon Lord had re-risen his minions and had started to kill of humans?.he tortured and maimed many of them. We came back, rose as many as we could and took him down. But humans don?t accept things easily?and my friends were killed.

They could not touch me, as I am a ghost or sprite, depending what to call me. For over 10 centuries I have watched over the growing earth and it?s trails and tribulations. The balance corrected itself and my kin became legends and slowly myths to entertain those who like to scare themselves.

But now the darkness is returning? I have seen the Daemon Lord rise from the ground and he calls to his minions once again. You are all re-incarnated creatures from that time?you are all things old and wise, but those memories will be lost to you. I cannot tell you which side you used to be on, all I am doing is giving you a chance to make a choice now? she pauses, stands up and takes out a gun, cocks it and raises it,
?Either you join my side and fight to stop the Daemon Lord and his minions??or? she sights it on you, ?I pull this trigger and you don?t get a choice as to where you go. And don?t think of running, he won?t give me a chance?.so I won?t give him any. Your choice, what?s it to be??

4) Don?t make your character immortal because this is only one part of history and it has to fall into place

Description: appears to be about 18 years of age, with panther black hair and pale grey lifeless eyes. She wears a black pair of trousers with black sleeveless top that has a pentagon design on the front and back. Black shoes of a plain and simple style and grey gloves with just the tops of the fingers missing. Denim blue jerkin with lightening pattern on it and several metal badges mark her as different from the crowd. Ghost has a very short temper and does not take any form of mockery easily or subordination.

Creature: Ghost/Spirit ? able to project herself into a solid form and appear perfectly human, when a ghost she can communicate with the undead world and discover secrets out about anyone?even when she?s is solid form she can see ghosts who have as of yet to pass into the next world.

Creature: werewolf- when in his true form he grows to seven feet tall. His mouth and nose jet like one on a dog, and he grows pure black fur. His posture is hunched and his eyes glow red.
Trigger factor: A melody on a flute- He try's to avoid hearing it, but if even the slightest noise of it tickles his ears, he looses it.

Creature: vampire-when shes in true form her teeth grow very long and her hair truns a blood red and grows down to her ankels.Her eyes turn black and her voice is much deeper. She grows stronger and faster and smarter. She can only do this when shes fully charged.

Trigger factor:When a baby is killed befor her eyes or when someone makes fun of her. she gose off in a killing spree if any of these things happen.

When she's in her true demon form her eyes shine through the darkest night and her fangs reveal themselves. Her nails also extend to razor sharp points. She becomes more agile, stealthy, and extremely fast.

Trigger factor: Strong Surges of the emmotions: Anger, Sadness, or Hate within a certain area. These emmotions are felt by people in serious pain like a death or in states of rage.

[b]Description:[/b] Tall red head with long hair brushing down to hip-length. Usually tied back in a plait for convienience's sake. Usually dresses casually, it being not unusual to see him in denim and trainers. When he becomes a shapeshifter, his form changes in not the most dramatic of ways. He becomes almost feral, his ears sharpening a little, his gaze becoming a little more feline, and his canines growing out a little more. However, this more beastial form makes way for him to adopt any number of shapes, making him a key to any plan involving stealth. He is also loyal, and if he feels he is in debt to a person he will even go to the extent of stalking them to make sure his debt is repaid. He doesn't want a kick in the face later in life when he "owes them one".

Description: 5'9". Has long glossy jet-black hair. Reaches his waist. His skin is albino, goth-like. He has blood red iris', but he normally wears black shades. He has a black designer suit on, but instead of the designer jacket, he has a black leather coat insead (similar to that of Morpheus'). Kyru's is usually cynical, and he likes to lean against ceiling/roof supports in the shadows at night. It makes him feel more in control. He knows the dangers of the city at night. He is mainly the dangerous one, but he doesn't abuse that. He'd rather help someone than hinder them, he just doesn't show it.

Creature: Vampire - he grows wings when he changes, then they drop off about two hours later.

Trigger factor: Bein made fun of and getting pissed off....when he is losing in a fight it pisses him off LOADS.

[b]Description:[/b] Alex is about 6 feet and 5 inches tall, built strong but by no means a man of pure muscle. His hair is only a few inches long, black and scruffy. He is caucasian with faint color in his skin. This of course only helps but emphasize his bright blue eyes with a thin ring of yellow-gold around the pupil. He wears a dark, olive-green, button-up, collared shirt with relaxed-fit black jeans and black, worn boots.

[b]Creature:[/b] Zombie - a member of the living dead. When he changes, Alex's eyes roll back into his head revealing nothing but pure white. His skin becomes a pale blue and dries out cracking and slightly breaking open in some areas. His fingernails and toenails (although one would not see those) develop a tint of yellow as they begin to crack and grow unevenly a bit. His teeth begin to rot, his hair becomes like straw, and his eyebrows fall out. After being ressurected, his movement is stiff for a while, but shortly becomes just as fluent as the next persons. Since he is dead, he is immune to pain of any kind and cannot really be killed. However, he can be immobilzed in a variety of ways. That, and he of course enjoys feeding on the flesh and organs of the living even though he does not really need it. When he first changes, his personailty is on the loony side. He will do things at random that are most often random acts of violence. However, the longer he stays in his true form the more belligerent he comes.
