Amity
Hey there! This is one of my pieces! Well, I did it on paint shop pro and I was just editing some stuff and forgot this was in my folder! So I hope everyone comments on it, not sure if you'll like it.:p
klinanime1
The left hand is very odd. The whole thing's all pixelated, and almost seemed like you didn't really draw it, but you saved it in gif, so... bits of the bg are not colored in, that patch around Ryoko's right leg and neck. Ryoko's left arm seems weird... kind of wavy. It's a great work of fanart, anyway. You almost can't tell it's fanart.
Pyrophobic
I couldn't really tell it was fanart - very fine grasp of the features and manga colouring style. You should apply a soften and perhaps even a despeckle effect to it, methinks, so that the colours are flat and smooth. And yes, a few parts aren't filled with the background, so those should be sorted out. I also agree that the left arm is somewhat strange - it looks a bit like folded-up paper. If you don't change the shape of the fabric body, you should at least edit the tones so that they fit about the curve of the arm. The curves midway-down unfortunately make it look as if she has two elbows one-after-the-other. The fingers also look as if they are bending back on one another, so be careful with their spread and the angles of each. Other than that, there's a great grasp of shape and form here, and no problems with proportion for a manga character. I love those feet of hers - very stylised. Well done, and post more soon! eleanor
Uhm...*stares at pixels* Great art and coloring though. You're very cool since you use Paint Shop Pro. ^_~. The hand is odd, but from what I can tell, you did a great job on the rest. Cel-shading is excellent as well.
