RPG The 2-D Comback!

It would be him, Mario, Donkey Kong, and Sonic, to rule over this era, and children of all ages loved them. Comic violence and funny techno music was the main thing about these games that made them great...but I believe the trouble started when everyone hit 3-d...

With the end of a loving era, the mascots continued into the 3-d stage, where they were given more and more detail in every game. It was like a big "1-up" for them, but what jumps up, falls down into an endless pit...

...30-35 years since the infamous pong was created, and games have reached the pinacle of their time. But now things were different...No more comic violence or funny music, but now full blood and gore, sexual themes, and extremley short and incopetent games, with no sense of joy. Parents of children realize this, and soon, video games will be gome forever...

The four mascots, depressed with this generation, work out their rivalries, and try to come up with an idea. There had to be some way of making games like old times. With no clue whatsoever, they called on their rivals to try and help them, namely Bowser, the ghosts, Dr. Robotnik, and King K. Rool.

With their combined brainpower they came up with an idea. They could attempt to make their own video games the old fashioned way. It would be a big journey to the real world, but if they tried, they might be able to do it. I think they'll need some help though...[/i][/QUOTE]

[COLOR=red]Mario just stood there, puzzled as of what to do next. He was not alone. Pac-man, Sonic, and Donkey Kong were puzzled as well. The four's greatest enemies awaited their next move. The idea was set...but how would they pull it off?

"Wait-ta, the players live in one world...and we live in thisa one," Mario looked up and saw all the tiny game worlds sewn into one. "We musta figure out how to get-ta in their world."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]"So a portal is what we need...heh, sounds easy in our world" Sonic crossed his arms and tapped his foot.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=orange]"but its not that easy to send portals into the human world. Their either to the next level or the other side of the screen." Pacman looked at his old enemies the ghosts. They knew it too.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=sienna]"We nee more help than thees." DK was still working on his english.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Mario looked at everyone and gave a great sigh. "Lets head to the Mushroon Kingdom and advertize. We musta do everything we can!"

Everyone raised up their fists in agreement and started marching off towards Mushroom Kingdom...if anyone was gonna stop this generation of games, it would be them...[/color]

Bill blasted through waves of on screen Aliens, to him it was real but to the player it was just fun. Bill held the trigger down on his Heavy Machine gun, he leaped into the air, somersaulting, while continuing his onslaught of bullets. He landed with a light tap and continued foward in the level. Suddenly he froze, as the word 'PAUSE' flashed high in the sky. Bill heard muffled talking and the game was suddenly shut off. Bill rested his gun on his shoulder and sighed. It was those next gen games and those new high powered 3-D game consoles. It was rare when someone actully played his game. Bill thought for a moment, then he heard of Mario, some italian plumber, about trying to get the old school 2-D games back on the television screen of everyone.
Bill headed back to his hideout in the world of Contra and entered. Lance looked at him and shook his head.

"Something new?" He asked, leaning back in a rickity chair.

Bill walked over to Lance and sat down next to him, he laid his Heavy down and sighed.
"Lance, we gotta do something about these new systems....Lets head to the Mushroom Kingdom..Mario will have a plan.."

Lance nodded and they both stood taking up thier Heavy machine guns, the exited thier hideout and made thier way to the Mushroom Kingdom, past the the world of Comix Zone, past the sandy dunes of Super Mario 3, through the twisting greens of Sonic the Hedgehog. It will a long trek.

[size=1][color=999999][i]Bullets flew here and there, missiles shot through buildings, servbots ran around the city looking for treasures, and Tron Bonne was the cause of it all. Her player ran her to the edge of the dock and waited for the ship. It came to her and her game was saved and shut off.

Tron Bonne then grabbed a towel and dried off her sweat. Her machine was taken to get checked on. Suddenly, a servbot came to her with news. She listened eagerly.[/i]

"Ms. Tron! There is news that an Italian plumber, by the name of Mario, is thinking of bringing the 2-D games back onto the screen! We wishes for us to join him!" [i]The small servbot had squeaked to her.[/i]

[i]Tron stood there thinking it over. She then clenched her fists and nodded.[/i] "Alright! Gather 7 servbots with great stealth, agility, strength, knowledge, alarm, and weaponry. We are going to the Mushroom Kingdom! Oh and Servbot! Get me the X Bonne. We may need her in battle."

[i]The servbots ran around the place, Tron stood there knowing that she will make a come back and help Mario.[/size][/color][/i]

Tails and Sonic were running through a loop when their game was cut off.

" Looks like its over for us..." Tails replied.

" For a little bit. He probably just doin his homework." Sonic repiled.

Then they saw Amy Rose comig down the hill.

" Sonic!! Tails!! There's some huy in a red shirt and overalls needing you towo. He said something about briing 2D gaming back." She told them.

" Well Tails what are we waiing for... Let's go!!!" Sonic took off at lightning speed."

" Soniiiiic wait up!!" Tails cried as he flew after him.

"Yes, Mario. Yes, yes, I'm doing quite well, actually." Blocky sighed. He was currently speaking with Mario on the TetrisPhone (it's a square, navy blue telephone that fits conveniently into a block formation near the ear area, making for easy speaking).
"Well, Mario, I have actually discovered a portal that will assist us in our quest. Yes, Mario, yes; it is a portal to...the outside world."

Blocky continued to explain the situation in which he found the portal; it was actually due to recent knockoff Nintendo games appearing on Macs all over. And, being a Mac, someone punched its stupid, screeny face in, forming a sizeable hole in the screen, making for easy escape.

"Once everyone makes it to your place, Mario, bring 'em nextdoor to Tetris. We'll have a few drinks, relax, unwind. Then we can kick some 3-D game tooshie."
