This Rpg takes part in the world of Krynn in the Dragonlance choronicles which are Dragons of Autumn twilight, Dragons of Winter Night and Dragons of Spring Dawning.

First off the rules
1 ) You cannot be unkillable or have unbrakeable weapons.
2 ) Any number of people can join in.
3) Do not make the spells too powerful.

Here is how the character creation is like

Name: Self explanatory.
Age: see above
Gender: self explanatory.
Race: I will make a list of types of races you can be

Nerakthian humans- Followers of Takhisis the queen of darkness.
Solamnian humans- Followers of Paladine the god of Justice.
Ergothian humans- These are just eastern humans.
Kenders- Half sized people with an insationable amount of curiostity. They are the only beings who can use Hoopaks (like a cultural weapon) . and they also have a habit of things turning up in their bags which belong to others.
Halflings- Short people who enjoy mead, tobacco and food.
Gnomes- Short people who love to tinker and invent.
Hill dwarves- Dwarves that live outside of the mountains.
Mountain dwarves- The same as Hill dwarves except they prefer mountains.
Gully dwarves- These are poor stupid beings nicknamed Anghar.
Kagonetsi Elves- These are wilder variations of elves.
Qualinost Elves- Slightly frendlier with others than the other two races of elves but no big difference
Silvanosti Elves- These are tall agnorrant elves who adept at manipulating the forests.
Half-elves: These are half-breeds of humans and elves.

Class:
Warrior: a standard fighter specialising in all weapons.
Mage: Someone who is adept at manipulating magical forces.
Paladin: A holy knight ( only solamnians can be them.) that can cast clerical spells.
Druids: Clerics whose speciallity is manipulting nature. ( Silvanesti are best with this class)
Clerics: Can cast healig spells and are better fighters than mages.
Rogues: Thieves, Assassians, Shadowdancers, Bards all fit underneath this catergory.
Barbarians: Warriors who move quick and can go beserk(Kagonetsi are best with this class)
Rangers: Warriors who follow the way of the druids.

Weapons: easily done
spells: (if mage/ cleric/ druid/Paladin/Rangers)
bio: easy
Appearence: Blah blah blah.
Alignment: Lawful good is the only alignment a paladin can choose while Druids can only choose True nuetral. other than that there are three levels Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic and three traits good, neutral, evil.

Other than that i have an example of a character

Name: Tasslehoof Burrfoot.
age:19.
race:kender.
class: Rogue
Weapons: Hoopak
bio: A young kender who as every other kender does, he succumbs to the kender urges, of theft.
appearence: Blue leggings, orange fur vest and a topknot.
alingment: Lawfull neutral

I'm DEFINATELY in this! ^^

Name: Liiris (Iris)

Age: 74

Gender: female

Race: Qualinesti Elf

Class: Mage, Order of the White Robes

Weapons: the Staff of Trellian, a hidden dagger, and some small throwing knives

Spells: think of the spells that Raistlin has

Bio: Iris had always been facinated with magic. As a child, her favorite place was in the library, shifting through old scrolls, books, and old artifacts trying to learn more about the Art, which is why the librarian always told her that she was as bad as a kender and just as curious as one to boot. After years of begging and pleading, her parents finally agreed to let her go to the Tower of High Sorcery in the Forest of Wayreth. It was here that she put on the White Robes of a mage of Solinari.

She's been attending the school for about ten years now, and as every day passes, the thoughts of the Test became more prominent in her thoughts. Still young by elven standards, her master Par-Salion (sp?) won't let her take it just yet, but soon, perhaps in the next year or so, her time will come....She spends her spare preparing herself and memorizing all the spells she can.

Appearence: Dark brown hair, pale skin, emerald green eyes, silk white robes with wide sleeves, ankle-high leather boots

Alignment: good

I see have a Dragonlance fan here also.

Name: Miltades
Age: 22
race: Solamnian human
class: Warrior
weapons: A broad sword and shield.

bio: A young man born in Solamnia he later moved to Solace in hope of a quieter life until the seekers passed through his sleepy town. In his flight from Solace for two years after they appeared he set out for Haven to demand that the high seekers keep their acolytes out of town.

On his way back to Solace Miltades had the misfortune of passing through Kendermore with the unfortunate resault of his boots, helm and cloak going missing for a few hours until he found them for sale at a kender store.

Miltades set off to the town of Solace by the way of Pax. Tharkas in hope of finding some proof of real gods. He met up with a band of strange beasts which looked like dragon-men (also known as Draconians) who did not allow him to pass. In fear of the beasts he returned to Solace to tell his friends of his discovery.

Appearence: He wears heavy solamnic plater and a horned helm as well as a leather pair of gauntlets, boots and a crimson cape.
Alignment: Lawful Good.

He weilds the staff of Magius but he hasn't been able to use the true extent of the staff, so practilly with the staff he can cast sleep and light spells. He also uses a hidden silver dagger

Rastilin was a mage of the order of red robes who deprive their power from the red moon Lunitari, so wouldnt he be a nuetral.

You probably would have found out sooner or later anyway.
The dream in Silvanesti gives a foreshadow of what happens.
But yeah, maybe we should stick to spoiler tags when we talk about what else happens in the series. ;)

Dragons of Summer Flame takes place at a totally different point in the series, not to mention with a completely different plot. It takes place a good twenty or so years after the War of the Lance, which is what DoAT, DoWN, and DoSD focuses on. Therefore, DoSF is not part of the Dragonlance Choronicles.

Dragons of Summer flame is set after the book dragonlance- The Second Generation. the fourth book has a few new characters like Steel Brightblade( Kitara and Sturms son), Sturm, Tanin and Palim ( Caramon and Tika's sons) and Tanis's son.

Hello all,

As most of you should be well aware, Recruitment threads are not for discussion of book series. I realize this originally started out as an RPG-straightening-out thing, but there has been too much off-topic stuff. If you want to debate something, please PM each other, or maybe start a discussion topic in the Literature forum since it does seem to generate interest.

If the discussion continues too much, I may feel the need to close this thread.

Anime Otaku, though they probably should've been using spoiler tags, your last post was complete spam. Please do not do that again.

Thanks,
--terra
