CHAPTER ONE: The first battle

James was sleeping in a tree above a waterfall that surronded the beautiful city of Giru. Suddenly there was something shaking the tree, and awoken James. " What the hell, who woke me?''

" I did!"said a boy. The boy was standing on the trunk of the tree.
" Why did you?'' James asked. The boy looked at James like he was stupid. " You have to go to town",said the boy.

James jumped out of the tree and landed in front the boy. " Okay lets go", James said sharply. The boy followed James to the city of Giru. The pointed to a building " They asked for you there ",said the boy.

"Thank you my friend, and take this for your services",said James. He given the boy a dagger, and the boy thanked him and walked away. James then headed for the building that boy told him about. When he walked in , and a man walked up to him with fear"THEY ARE HERE!" said the man. " Who are here ?'',James asked. "The Aurians!!" yelled the man. " Come on herald, you probaly were dreaming.

" Well it was a vison",said Herald. "Ok, what was it about?"said James. " It had them as humans killing everyone",said Herald. "Wait, I thought that kid looked supious." said James running out the door.

"James what do you mean?'' said Herald. But it was to late when he caught to James he saw that was on his knees. The city had been destoryed and men, women, and children were laying on the ground dead.

" HOw.. can they do this?" said James holding his sister. When he turned Herald was dead. The boy that he gave the dagger to was laughing. "How.. could ..I be.. so stupid",said James.

[color=blue][size=1]Nikkie quietly strode along a path in the woods, looking for something to fight. Her tail twitched as she heard screaming. Her nose picked up the scent of blood, and she knew there was a fight. She ran quickly, avoiding trees and jumping over creatures in the middle of the path. She was excited and anxious as she neared.

When she reached the town, she saw blood, lots of blood. "Strange... not many things could have done this," she said softly. Her ears picked up the sound of a human boy laughing. She ran through the town as the laughing became louder until suddenly, she saw a boy holding a girl, and the boy laughing.

She saw a dagger in the boy's hand. "This'll be fun," she whispered. "You! Boy, who did this?" she shouted making both boys turn. One boy put the girl on the ground gently and stood up, rage in his eyes. "I am not 'boy', thank you. My name is James Wallace. And [i]he[/i] did all this," he said with hatred in his voice. "Yeah, whatever. 'Kay kid, you and me. One on one," she offered to the boy with the dagger.

"Are you kidding? You're no match for me!" the boy continued to laugh. Nikkie now walked forward until she was a foot away from the boy. "Hey kid, you missed one," she said, pointing behind him. He turned and she knocked him in the back of the head with her sword. He fell to the ground unconcious. "That was stupid. Not even a fight," she thought aloud. James was now staring at her wide-eyed.

"What?" she asked annoyed. "How-how did you-" he started. She stood there for a moment, then began walking away. "Hey! Wait, I didn't catch your name!" She stopped and turned to him again. "And why should I tell you?" she asked him. He stood there puzzled for a moment when she said, "Nevermind. My name's Nikkie. Now I'll be going if you don't mind."

She began walking again when he ran up to her. She continued walking, trying to ignore him. Right at the border of the city, she shouted, "Why are you following me?!" "Well, since I've got no one here, I might as well travel with someone. And I was thinking... well, you!" he said kindly. She stared at him oddly then just shrugged and walked towards the woods, James sharply behind her.

James and Nikkie continued to walk down the road, until something sped past them and stop in front of Nikkie.

It was the boy but he was diffrent, he was a monster. He had horns and a dragon's wings and tail. Also, had eyes like a blood hungry hound. He stuck out his claws ready to fight.

James stood out " I will fight you with my bare hands",said James angrily. "Ha, mere human cannot defeat Zia",said the boy. "Wacth me!' James yelled.

Nikkie climb up a tree to wacth the battle. Zia charged at James grabbed him by the head, and threw him into a tree.

James got up slowly with blood on his face. He then ran toward Zia and disapeared. Next thing that happen was James reappearing, and punching Zia a hundred times in the face.

Then a blue aura surronded James and eyes turned blue. Zia then grabbed him by the stomach, and spun him into the air.

[color=blue][size=1]As Nikkie watched, she knew that James, even in his new... form, wouldn't be able to beat Zia. "This is pitiful. That's it, he's not getting all the fun!!" she said to herself as she jumped to the ground. Zia was busy bullying James as she jumped and used her blade to slice his shoulder.

He dropped James and howled in pain. "A.. a mere [i]human[/i]-" he began. "I'm not a human stupid. Now, you wanna fight some more, or do you wanna go cryin' home to mama?" Nikkie taunted. Zia rose up, his shoulder bleeding, and charged towards Nikkie. She jumped in the air and landed on his head, making him fall to the ground. "An amatuer. You can kill a human easily, but not me," Nikkie scolded.

Zia was angrier now and James was lying against a tree, trying to keep the blood out of his eyes. He sat up slowly and watched Zia tumble through the air trying to get an attack in on Nikkie. As Zia tired, he stopped and a large grin grew on his face. "You're a fast one. But not even you can dodge this," he sneered as his hands began glowing.

Suddenly a ray of fire engulfed Nikkie and the trees behind her. As the fire faded, she kneeled to the ground panting, burn marks all over her. "Now that's a good kitty," he laughed. "No one... No one makes fun of me!" She began glowing as her eyes turned red. Her fingers became claws and her back sprouted wings. She flew at Zia, sending him backwards into the trees.

Zia didn't come back. He had had enough and decided to take a break. Nikkie fell to the ground unconcious, and she returned to normal. James slowly wandered over to her. "He'll come back soon. I've got to get us out of here," he said to himself.[/color][/size]

James picked up Nikkie and headed to his house. Which was on the path that they were on. James had set her on his bed , and proceeded upstairs. He began to play his guitar and stared out the window.

Nikkie woked up quickly, and wondered why is she was here. She then heard music and headed upstairs. James did not know who was so he removed his sworf out of the guitar.

Nikkie walked and James pointed his sword at her. Then he laid it down when he noticed who was. "Who the hell were you pointing that at." yelled Nikkie.

James had gotten nervos and continued playing is guitar. " Do not ignore me",said Nikkie. "sorry",said James. "so you lived here alone",sad Nikkie. "well I had a sister but Zia killed her",said James. "So are going to cry about it, no come", Nikkie cmanded.

James looked puzzled" where are we going?. " You will have to come and see.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=royalblue]"You're pathetic Zia," said Amaka. "Couldn't carry out a simple mission."

"Shut up," siad Zia angrily. THen he launched at the huge man. Amaka removed his sword out of his sheath and swung it at Zia, making him fly towards a house. To be exact, in front of James's house.

"Time to finish him off." grunted Amaka. He ran towards Zia's flat body, he raised his axe sword above his chest, then Amaka drove his sword into his chest, but then Zia caught it and swung his left arm to knock the sword away from Amaka. Then suddenly James ran out the door and witness the battle.

An aurian(see attachment) had crept behind Amaka, and held a knife agianist his neck. "Hey boss, "said the aurian. "Guar, quit playing around",said Amaka.

Guar removed the knife form his neck," Boss did Zia kill James"Guar asked. "No!',said Amaka. "The idiot must have drunk agian",said Guar. " I was not",said Zia. "Shut it you two, we he to plan this out. We do not want a aurian hunter screwing up our plans.

Zia and Guar agreed, and with that they became the X team.
Meanwhile, James was eating food in the kitchen. Nikkie was wondering why he brought her to safety.

Makaiya walked along the path through the forest, very quiet. Her combat boots made crunching noises, stepping on leaves as she passed by. Her bracelets didn't make a noise of them being rubber. She was smirking as she walked along the noise.
Suddenly, she heard a commotion from a distance, and made her smirk bigger.
"No one is going to steal my kill of the day," Makaiya muttered to herself, as she began running along the path in the woods.

"So..." Nikkie began, "Why do you want me to join you?" James ignored her, and kept eating his food. Nikkie frowned, and glared at James. He didn't notice her.

Makaiya looked through the bushes, to see an aurian and another person; a male. Makaiya smirked, and stared at the male. She came out of the bushes, and the aurian and male turned around.
"Who are you?" Amaka asked.
"Your worst nightmare," Makaiya replied. Then she stepped closer to him, and began fighting with her knives.[/size][/color]

[color=blue][size=1][i]It's strange... I know this guy for half an hour and he brings me here. If that Zia kid came back, I'd be in deep s***. Why'd he save me?[/i] Nikkie thought to herself as she sat on the floor. "You don't have to sit there you know. You could go sit on the couch," James said kindly. Nikkie's ears perked, but she didn't say anything.

In the living room, she could hear some voices outside. "What was that?!" she said quietly. She headed towards the front door and put her head against it. She heard Zia again, along with three other voices she didn't recognize. She ran into the kitchen to see James, still eating. She grabbed his arm and pulled him into the living room.

"Hey!! Whatcha do that for?!" he asked annoyed. She put her finger to her lips, signaling that he should be quiet. She then walked slowly towards the front door again. He followed her and he put his ear on the door as Nikkie had done before. "Hear that?" she asked him. He nodded and went upstairs to get his sword.

[i]He's a fool not to keep his weapon with him at all times. Humans are so weird.[/i] Nikkie thought to herself.[/color][/size]

"Guar, Zia, take care of her!!!" commanded Amaka. The 2 aurians charged at the girl while Amaka ran towards his sword towards the ground. Makaiya took care of the thugs with no sweat when Amaka got the sword.

"Heh, you're a good fighter." commented Amaka.

"Yes, but you won't be sweet talking when I'm finished with you." said Makaiya.

SUddenly Nikkie and James barged out of the house. Amaka was startled then slowly backed away.

"Ha, can't beleive you're scared," taunted Makaiya.

Amaka grinned and threw his axe sword towards Makaiya which made her stunned when it nailed her arm. Then the Orc charged at Nikkie while he unsheath his 2nd axe sword and slashed Nikkie squarely on her cheek. James reacted with a quick slash to the back of Amaka's armor.

"Grr, you son of a-----" yelled James

"Don't finish the line. It's only you and me." smirked Amaka. "Come and get it."

James charged at Amaka, then he jumped into the air and landed on the roof. "C'mon, can't catch me?" taunted Amaka. James jumped and climb on the roof and attempted a slash on the Orc. Amaka blocked it when suddenly a knife was thrown and it hit Amaka on the shoulder blade. Then he grabbed the knife and thrown it on James's face which missed but James flinched and fell off the roof. Makaiya was standing up holding Amaka's sword. She was smiling and walked over to James to retreive her knife.

"C'mon you scum, come down here and fight!!!!" yelled Makaiya.

Amaka jumped down and kicked Makaiya in the stomach. He grabbed the sword and put back the 2 sword back into their sheaths. Amaka then ran towards his 2 thugs and threw a bomb to the ground which blinded the scenary for 15 seconds, which was enough time for the 3 men to escape. After the 15 secs, everyone got up.

"What happened?" asked Nikkie holding back the blood on her cheek.

"Aurian flash bomb." said Makaiya. "They've escaped" [/COLOR] [/SIZE]

James reconized Amaka from when he was born, maybe he is the reason of all his rage. He had put his sword back into the guitar, and began walking down a path.

"Where are you going human/aurian?",Nikkie asked. James stopped and turned around"How do you know what i am?''

"I can smell Aurian , and you are half aurian.Why are living among humans?''Nikkie asked. "Because my mom is human, and an aurian killed my sister just now"James replied


"so where are you headed ?'',Nikkie questioned, "To Nido I have to kill some monsters",said James. "can I come?"Nikkie said

"If you want to I am not stopping you" James replied

Sorry I'm late! comp got shut down in a thunderstorm, otherwise I would have posted sooner.

Rygar looked over his class, they were coming along nicely with weapons training. He raised his hand.
"stop!" they all stopped, wearily turning to face him. "Get yourselves cleaned up, class is dismissed." He bowed to them, they bowed in return to him. He retired back to his small, cramped office. ' I think I'll take a walk in the forest today.' He quickly changed from his training outfit to his light armor, he picked up his gun, and his durungan blade, and stepped outside into the town It was a remote place, one of the only towns populated mostly by humans. He waved to the gaurds as he passed by the wooden walls, and into the lush, green forests. After a few minutes of walking, a familiar sound came over the sounds of the forest, steel clashing against steel. 'Someone's in trouble!" He drew his Blade, the flat beam of blue energy came out as he rushed to where the sound was coming from.

[size=1][color=999999][i]Ralience rode on Aries, her black stallion. With great speed and power, they are able to get around areas in a time that no one has ever seen. He sped through the grassy plains with great ease. It was as if he flew across gently atop the grass.

The stallion now came across two figures standing a few feet away from him. Ralience jumped off of Aries and she walked with Aries towards the two figures. She wondered who they were. She stopped and could smell that one had Aurian blood and the other neko. She smirked and knew they would be no problem if they were foes.

Walking towards the figures, she was soon close enough to talk. She looked to the male and female that was standing before her.[/i]

"Who are you?" [i]The male figure had questioned abruptly.[/i]

[i]The neko stood readying her weapon. Ralience drew a sly grin.[/i] "Do not worry, child. I am here for no harm. I am the Sorceress, Ralience. You are on a hunt for those who killed your home and family, am I correct?"

[i]The neko looked to James with amazement. He replied to Ralience with a questioning tone.[/i] "Yes. How did you...?"

"How did I know? Young man, I am beyond your years of wisdom and knowledge. I know. And you are James Wallace and this neko is Nikkie. A cat-demon traveling with a human with aurian blood? I remeber the days that used to be. But that is no more. Hmm. If you're walking in that direction, you will get no further. You need to ride upon something."

[i]Nikkie drew her sword and pointed it at Ralience. Ralience looked to Nikkie with a serious expression upon her face this time.[/i] "I would put your weapon down if I were you, cat. You shall remember who you stand before and where you are. This area and beyond is known to me and all know me that live in it."

"I don't trust you. What rides? There are no creatures for about a mile!"

"You underestimate me, young demon." [i]Ralience replied to this threat.[/i] "Watch carefully and lay down your weapons. These ceratures I call do not take kindly to those who carry weapons, except for I."

[i]Ralience reached into her sash and pulled out a small flute. It was silver and vertical. She blew into it and played beautiful notes. It created a melodic song. She stopped at the last note that lasted long into the wind.

Waiting for whatever to come, Nikkie and James put their weapons down and suddenly felt a shudder underneath their feet. The two looked up and a herd of horses came their way. Nikkie jumped into a tree and James ran ahead. Ralience put her hand up and they bowed to her and Aries. She nodded and they stood. Two of the fastest were chosen and the rest left.

Nikkie jumped down and James walked back. They looked to the horses and when Ralience leapt on hers, they did the same. Nikkie still didn't trust Ralience, but James had a notion to. She held her hand to the sky as Aries sped towards where James was going and a trail of dark blue sparks were left behind. Above head, millions of small fairies flew around them and the lighted sky began to turn dark. The dark blue sparks now hung in the sky and the moons dotted the sky as well.[/size][/color][/i]

As they rode, something suddenly caught James eyes. He turned his head down and looked at the trees. Suddenly he saw a white human shape moving in the trees. Almost flying from one to another. As it suddenly stopped and stood on a branch it looked straight up at James, and then disapeared.

James: Did you...
Ralience: ... See that? No. But I know you did... That is of no threat to you. But you should be careful around it.

Suddenly it got quiet.
And as they rode, Nikki had a confused look on her face as she was thinking to herself. [i]What's that unusual smell?[/i].

OOC: Dang, I have to try and get online more often, I'm falling way behind!

Rygar shook his head in amazement. 'Where's horses come from! Who are these people? I better track them, they could mean trouble for the town.'

Rygar followed the four riders as fast as he could through the forest. 'At least they can't move as fast in the forest, or I'd never keep up!" he thought. Rygar got a better look at who he was pursuing, three appeared to be human, the last looked like a cat person from his distance. The cat-demon had a strange look on her face as she sniffed in the air.

Rygar heard the whine of a shock riffle being charged behind him. A mechanical voice droaned out.
"Drop your weapons, and turn around, slowly, Rygar No. 566783
Class-D. You will lead me to the towns that you humans have populated."

Rygar tensed as he turned around slowly, a massive cyborg stood behind him, it's muscular pink flesh artistically cut away in some spots, reavealing what it was instantly. It's red eyes seemed to glow with hatred.
"Drop your weapons, you have 5 seconds to comply."

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=999999][i]Aries stopped in mid-gallop and hastily reared up. The smell in the air had gotten to Ralience. It was a strange smell, but familiar nonetheless. She turned him around and gently layed him down. She stepped off of her stallion and walked to a blade of tall grass and lightly tapped the tip. A dewdrop fell onto the head of a feral. She kneeled down and stroked the soft head before speaking to it.

Nikkie leaped off of her horse and walked to Ralience as did James. The two wondered what she was doing and what the horrible scent was. The creature sitting up in front of Ralience had heard the two coming before they even stepped near. It hid itself from sight and the two never knew it was there. Nikkie spoke to Ralience.[/i]

"Why did we stop? That odor will not stop for long. It seems to get nearer and nearer everytime we ride towards the sun."

[i]Ralience stood and turned to Nikkie. Her voice was not as kind as it was before. They were nearing the dark forest.[/i]

"That [i]odor[/i] belongs to a shadow creature who lurks around these borders that keeps [i]young ones[/i] from entering the forest."

"Do you know what the shadow creature is?" [i]James questioned as he neared Ralience and Nikkie.[/i]

[i]Ralience looked to the two and then she turned quickly to the feral. She picked it up swiftly and put it in her arms.[/i] "This creature is a feral. It resembles the household ferret. Only difference is that the feral is able to smell strong or light scents from more than 10 miles. It also has great defense abilities. It is a great creature."

[i]Nikkie began to get frustrated. She leaned over with her claws extended, but James had stopped her. He looked to Ralience.[/i]

"You still haven't answered my question. To whom does that scent belong to?"

"You shall soon find out......" [i]A sudden rush swirled around them. Ralience smirked and the feral jumped out of her arms.[/i] "Or perhaps you will find out now."[/size][/color]

The swirl became a monster and started to attack. James tried to charge, but was knock into a tree

The monster kneeled before Ralience , it had seem she had summon the monster.

"I knew it", said Nikke. "Then why didnt you stop me?",said Ralience. James quickly got up and was an aurian, he harged at the monster. Then he sank his teeth in the monster neck.

"That is the way", yelled Nikkie. "Shut up",yell Ralience. And she began to attack Nikkie with magic.

Suddenly out of nowhere a man in white came out the trees

A kunai flew by Ralience face and cut her on the left cheek.

Everyone stoped and stared at the Ralience as a drop of blood fell from her face to the ground. Everyone followed the drop untill it hit the ground.
Then everyoine knowticed the majestic young man standing on a brach in the trees...
He had white hair that stood up and white eyes as to say he wasn't human. Dressed in a white uniform and wearing a white coat to his knees and a mask over his face, he seemed like the kind of man you wouldn't trust to be with in a dark alley.

Ralience: Not again... Who are you?
The Man: At this point I cannot tell you who I am. But I don't mind you know my alias... Razorblade!

Suddenly everyone drop their weapons and froze in place.
They all were chocked and scared with sweat running down their foreheads.

Nikki: You're the legendary assasin? The man who "killed more people in a year then had died by natural causes in 5"?

Razorblade stood silent. He needed no words.

Ralience: hmmf... What a cheap trick. You think you can scare us away by saying you're Razorblade? What a joke...
Razorblade disapeared years ago. You truelly believe we would think you are here talking to us...

Razorblade stood still... No words were yet needed.

Ralience: Fine then. I'll proove you are not Razorblade by destroying you.

*She stood in a fighting pose, ready to attack*

*Razorblade didn't even move*

As the fight was about to begin, James looked at Razorblades eyes and though "It's him!"

James continued to attack the monster, but it was not use to fight it. Whie Razorblade was fighting Ralience with NIkkie.

James transform into a more darker being just like the monster, and slashed him in half.


Nikkie had dogde Ralience attacks, and Razorblade was thoreing knives from his tree.

James started become out of contol and swung at all who got in his way. Until he remember that an Aurian killed his sister. And he became human again.

As James clamed down he fell to the ground. When Razorblade noticed he jumped out and caught James in his arms. Ralience saw the oportunity to attack and charged at them. But with Razorblades high speed they got away. As Ralience missed them she got upset.

Suddenly behind her...
Nikki: Hey Bitch!
*Wham*
Ralience flew into a tree and was knocked out colt...

Things started to calm down...

[i]The monster turned to the one who summoned it and disappeared into thin air. The feral ran to Ralience. It looked to Ralience and its ears perked into the air. A gentle breeze came over Ralience and she began to raise into the air. The three looked to the figure and held onto their weapons.

Nikkie was ready to fight Ralience. But, seeing as their in the area that Ralience was born into, they were no match for her and what was around the area. The feral sat back down and watched.[/i]

"What the hell?"

[i]Razorblade looked on with confusion and wondering eyes. James did as well. It was strange that Ralience would be able to float in mid-air while she was unconcious. Suddenly.......her eyes had opened and black clouds whirled around her. She was still floating, but she came down towards the three.[/i]

"Hmm. Think that you could get rid of me that easily? I think not. You forget who you are battling, cat. And as for [i]you[/i]." [i]Ralience pointed to Razorblade with her index finger. It was extended and dark silver, glimmering nails were shown.[/i] "Do not think that you can prance around here thinking that you can scare those who do not know you well. You trully are Razorblade, but may I suggest that you point that blade towards someone else, other than me?"

[i]Nikkie glared at Ralience and Razorblade smirked towards the sorceress as well. She was not impressed with the two. She then looked to the Aurian/Human. He was one that she was interested in. But, she said nothing. She only looked to the two figures that were looking to her.[/i]

"What was the smirk about, young man?" [i]Ralience neared Razorblade, who gripped his blade tightly.[/i]

"Just who do you think you are to tell us what to do? I doubt that you even know anything. So, tell me who you are and maybe I might go easy on you."

[i]Ralience's smile grew into a sly grin. She chuckled lightly and her pure silver eyes were shown.[/i]

"I am the demon Sorceress, Ralience. I know all and I see all. Do NOT toy with [i]me[/i]. I have been to the ends of the earth and back. I've been to Hell and back, as well. I am known for many things. As well as being known as the Shadow Assassin. So, I would hold your tongue if I were you. If you wish to come with me on this travel, then come with me. If anyone wishes to stay behind and let the Oroling come, then stay."[/size][/color]
