I was watching Mr.Deeds on HBOc last night and it got me thinking-does anyone besides me watch the movies and does anyone have a favorite Adam SAndler movie?
Little Nicky is pretty cool for me. The whole Good is more powerful than evil message was nice. but the best scene was the beginning when
the devil is shoving a large pineapple up Adolf Hitler's behind and Hitler is dressed in a French Maid Costume
Of course, I'm a sick twisted individual so that more or less fits my mind set.
Anyone else?

I like Happy Gillmore and all the rest of his movies that are basically the same exact thing but with a different title. ~_^

Punch Drunk Love is probably the most original film Sandler has appeared in in quite some time. It's a shame he never developed bigger chops as an actor, like Jim Carey (not that he's even remotely close to being as good as Carey though) for example. He's quickly going the way of Eddie Murphy in my opinion.

Anything under the Happy Madison label is formulaic and worthless for that matter, as well.

Like Jim Carrie, I have to watch anything with Adam Sandler when I am in a mood. Too much can sometimes be overbearing. My favorite movie of his is The Wedding Singer, and that's probably because of all the 80s music in it and the Billy Idol cameo, rather than Sandler himself. The movies are rather repetitive, same idea behind them all, but he has his moments.

I think overall Adam Sandler is incredibly overrated. I don't find him all that funny overall, to be honest. All this time spent by school and family to try and stop me from acting like a weirdo and these guys get paid for it. Oh well.

Water Boy is literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I don't think I even cracked a smile at that one. I have no clue how it did as well as it did.

I did like Mr. Deeds though. It's not a favorite of mine or anything, but the awesome Bowie reference in the airplane gets about 10 million bonus points from me.

There's some others like Happy Gilmore, that I enjoyed. Bob Barker was practically the best part though. I also somehow managed to enjoy The Wedding Singer, despite the presence of the awful Drew Barrymore. I don't think she's matured as an actress since E.T.

Haha that part in Little Nicky was the greatest. But Adam Sandler I think is coming up. Yeah he is starting off with his SNL roots but I believe that he will develop into a better actor getting more roles suited to him. Well that if he wants them. Even if he does go the way of Eddie Murphy Adam Sandler has already hit some good things. Well he did star "Bulletproof Man" with Damon Wayne. It wasn't the funniest of Sandler's movies but hey it showed him being in an action/ comedy flick.

Now I havent seen Punch Drunk Love yet so I can't comment on it at this point in time.

But I must say that as a comedian Sandler does the right thing. Although his humor may seen a bit crued( if that is the right word) It will give you a smile. And I'm happy that someone out there is doing that sort of comedy again. Jim carrey used to do it. Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence hit on it everyonce in a while. But I don't think Adam S. will really stray away from his brand of cemedy.

I enjoy Adam Sandler very much. My favorite movies are: Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and Big Daddy. The first two, I really enjoy the dirty like humor, and in Big Daddy, I enjoy what that little boy does and says. They are all very funny.

Adam Sandler is a total goof, but I love the movies he is in, and mostly liked all of them.
My 2 Top Favorites would be Big Daddy and Mr. Deeds. Mr. Deeds was the funniest to me, but the antics of teaching
a kid to go pee on a wall oh come on...
I enjoy Adam Sandler movies. I really don't think that he is trying to make any groundbreaking movies (with his HappyMadison label), he is just trying to entertain some people. I don't think I have ever watched any of 'his' movies thinking, "This is the one that is going to do it for me!" Most of my friends and myself watch his movies for quick laughs, and a story that isn't going to be hard to keep up with or a story that dissapoints (i.e. - sad endings, main star dying. . lol).

I say 'his' movies, because I don't think of Punch Drunk Love as one of 'his' that he wrote/directed. . I thought this movie was incredible, with a great storyline. I really enjoyed the acting in this movie, and the music seemed to really fit with the type of characters that were in this movie. (This is definitely one of my favorite movies)

We used to watch Happy Gilmore quite a bit a few years ago. It was a movie that we would put on as one of our 'background movies' - or, something that would be on while we talked, drank, partied throughout the night. Granted, this wasn't a long movie, thus, why I said it was one of our 'background movies' =) We had quite a few. . I think even Mr. Deeds has been added as one of them. (The main ones now are - Super Troopers, Princess' Bride, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Van Wilder. . a few others too). .

Anyways, I always enjoyed his movies for the quick laughs that they provided. Most people I know really love Billy Madison. . I however am a Happy Gilmore guy myself. That I think was the first movie that I liked of his. . and have really enjoyed about every other one since then. I was quite happy with Eight Crazy Nights also. For an animated movie, it was pretty good.

Since others have listed, my favorite movies would be: Punch Drunk Love, Happy Gilmore, Mr. Deeds, Wedding Singer. . I think some of my least favorites would include: Billy Madison and Little Nicky. . not saying I don't like them, just not my favorites. Oh yeah, honorable mention to Eight Crazy Nights =P

Of Course, I love Adam Sandler's movies. Probably my favorite would have to be Mr. Deeds or Big Daddy. They are always really funny, and in the movies he is a really funny and outgoing character. Jim Carrey is one of my favorites too. he does his weird thing and sometimes he can get really hyper doing so, but i guess thats the good part about him :D.

Adam Sandler is rated my number 1 actor so far, and thats the way it will stay for quite a while in my opinion.

That was one of the funniest parts in any film I have every seen especially since he had picked up a smaller one first and then had to pick up the biggest one of all, heh heh classic stuff.

My favourite Adam Sandler would have to be Happy Gilmore, I've seen it so often that I decided to buy it on DVD to save money on rental fees. I mean it's just so funny to see what he does when he loses his temper
ranging from firing his clubs around to assaulting Bob Barker. Or when he was messing about with the nail gun and put one through his boss's head,
I mean where do they think this stuff up.

I haven't enjoyed much of his other stuff except for Anger Management which I just rented a few hours ago, I mean come on who's more nutty Adam Sandler or Jack Nicholson.
I mean the bit where he goes on the Date with the girl and she goes all psycho on him.
Where do the laughs end with this man.

If he turned more like Eddie Murphy then he could be funnier or a lot less funny depending on whether it would be Dr Dolittle comedy which I never found funny or Beverly Hills Cop which was damn hilarious. But that's all up to Sandler himself.

Adam Sandler is one of my favorite actors. He makes some of the best impressions. My favorite movie by him is Billy Madison. I think he was the funniest guy in this movie. The first movie I saw with him in it was The Wedding Singer. I was probably 8 or 9 at the time. I loved that movie. It was funny and his singing was pretty cool:P

Billy Madison is a hilarious movie! Hes a drunk guy who goes back to school and tries to get in his teachers pants. lol That is the BEST movie.

Adam Sandler won lots of awards throughout the years. I hope he continues to make lots of funny movies because he is one of the best actors ever!

Adam Sandler is an amazing actor!!! I love all of his movies!^^
My Favorite movie is Billy Madison because he makes himself look really dumb to make us laugh^^! I hope he makes more funny movies!

8 Crazy Nights was an alright movie but it was too short. They casted the movie in Adams house! They could have made it better.

I like Adam. I mean, even back on SNL he was a great actor. Opera Man....that was great. My favorite part of the news. One of my fav. eposides was when they had Paul McCartney on there, and he sang the sweatshirt song. "I love my sweatshirt" and then Paul comes in "Dip Dip Dip" lol. You've had to have seen it I guess.

back on topic, I think that my fav. would have to be Big Daddy. I'm sorry, but that was such a great film. I really havn't seen any of his latest ones, except Eight Crazy Nights, which i found to be kinda wierd, but good. I like Billy Maddison. "Stop looking at me swan!"

Happy Gilmore was great, esp. when Bob Barber beat the you-know-what out of him. You know we've all tried at least once to do the Happy Swing. "It's all in the hips!"

Little Nicky...well....it was just.....i don't know.....it kinda seemed sacriligious...or something.....

The Wedding Singer is another one of my favs. I just love all the 80's songs it has it. Plus it has a good story line too.
