Little idea for Rules in v7

But seriosuly, I think that OtakuBoards should have the link to the Otakuboards information center at the top of each "lounge" say, for eaxample, if you wen't into Anime Lounge, then the Otakuboards Information center would be displayed, much in the same way that a sub forum is now displayed.

Is this possible? Do you think it can work? I think, on one hand it will really drive the message home that the Information center must be read first before anything, on the other hand, I can see how having it appear on all forums all the time could get tedious for members.

What do you think of this suggestion? :sleep:

[color=#707875]The main concern I have is that right now, we have too many sticky threads across all of our forums.

In some ways, I think that becomes a little confusing and members are more inclined to ignore it.

The next version of the boards won't require us to have an OB Information Center at the top of the page; we won't actually need to build a read-only forum to display this information. All of the information that members require (including rules, FAQ, etc) will be viewable on every single page they visit, no matter where they are on the boards.

So, I think you'll find that your concerns will be taken care of with our currently existing plans. ^_^[/color]
