O.C.C Sorry for keeping you all waiting so long, but I kinda got side tracked when the holidays where over. I hope you can forgive me.

Anyway here is how it will go. Me, Annie, Skedy and Death Knight will be the only ones allowed to post at first. Whan Annie and me thinks that the time is right we will allow th fed's to start posting.

Then eventually Jitsuka's henchman and finally Aura's protectors. I strongly suggest that you read this from the beggining and follow along even if you aren't posting yet.

AS for you readers this RPG does have (mature content). This most likely will be the only warning through out the thread. You have been warned. Now with out further ado, let's get on with the show.

Chicago, Il. Aura Jones apartment 6:00 A.M

Aura awoke to the sound of her alarm clock buzzing at her. She groggily got out of bed and slowly walked over to her dresser to turn it to the radio. She listened to the news while she went into the bathroom to get ready for work. Fifteen minutes later she came out completely dressed and ready to go to work. She turned off the radio before she grabbed her purse, keys and cell phone off of the dresser. She left her bedroom, went past her living room and kitchen and out the front door locking it behind her.She ran down the three flights of stairs and turned right on to the side walk heading towards the nearest Starbucks. She walked into the cafe and bought her self a French Vanilla Cappuccino.

" Hey, Aura!" she heard a mans voice call out.

She looked around untill she saw a man dressed in navy blue and wearing a navy blue ball cap with 'S.W.A.T' on it. He was sitting at one of the small tables that were around the room. She smiled and went over to sit down in one of the other chairs at the table.

" Hey Vormir, what's up?" she asked her best friend.

He replied, " Not much really. Raided an abandoned warehouse full of druggies yesturday, but that's about it. You?"

" Still trying to program the brand new laptop computers. (sighs) Stupid things refuses to hold any type of data. Other than that I'm just walking to work." she answered.

" Walking? What happened to your car?"

" Lance insisted on picking me up after work yesturday and taking me out to dinner. So my car is still in the parking lot at work." she replied in a stressed out kind of voice.

" Sounds to me like you didn't want to go out last night."

" No, I didn't, but as usual I went any way just to please him."

Vormir shook his head before replying, " I don't know what you see in that guy and I probably never will."

Aura sighs as she gets up and picks up her purse and the empty cup.

" Well I better be going if I'm going to get to work on time." she said.

Vormir stood up and gave her a friendly hug goodbye.

" Alright Aura,(lets go of her) want to meet for lunch?"
She gives hima smile and says, " I'd love too."

" Great I'll pick you up around 12:30 this afternoon."

" K, I'll see you then."

Aura throws the empty cup away as she leaves the cafe. She starts walking down the street when a car pulls up behind her honking its horn and causing her to jump a little. She turns around to see her so called 'boyfriend' laughing at her from behind the wheel. She glares at him as she walks up to the passenger window waiting for him to roll it down.

As soon as the window is down Lance says, "Sorry babe, but I was wandering if you would like me to give you a ride to work?"

She considers her options for a minute or two before she rolls her eyes and nods her head. She opens the door and right when she closes it Lance steps on the gas petal and speeds off down the street and around the corner in less than a minute.

" Lance, there is no need for you to drive like a mad man. Now will you please slow down?" Aura asked angerly.

Lance grinned and replied, "Sure babe."

The car began to slow down when they started to turn another corner. Aura hated how Lance called her 'babe' all the time. Just then Lance made a sharp turn causing Aura's purse to fal over and her cell phone fell from the outer pocket. Ten minutes later Lance's car pulled up in front of the Genium Tech Ind. building. Aura gave him a small kiss before she grabbed her pusre and got out of the car (leaving her cell phone behind). As Aura walked into her small cramped office five minutes later she noticed that her cell phone was missing. While she started digging through her purse Lance was rushing in with her cell phone in his hand. He accidentally ran into six other people causing all of them to drop at one thing if not more. Lance quickly picked up his items as he said his appoligies to the other people. He was about to make a dash for Aura's office when she almost ran into him.

She took a couple of deep breaths before she said," Oh Lance I was about to run out side to see if I could catch you before you drove off.(she took another deep breath) I think I left my cell phonein your car."

He smiled and said, "You did, I was about to go to your office to give it back to you when you ran in to me."

He handed her the phone before giving her a quick kiss explaining that he had to get to work. Before she could say anything he was gone. She stood there for a second before she shaked her head and looked down. She then noticed a dark green floppy disk lieing on the ground next to the filing cabnet. She noticed that it had the word 'USG File' printed on the label. She picked up and stared at it for while longer before she decided to take it back to her computer. When she got into her office she inserted the floppy disk into her hard drive and waited for some kind of screen to pop up. She only had to what fifteen seconds before a blue screen popped up asking for a password.

"Password?" she wispered to her self.

She started to type in different words that were commonly used as passwords, but with no success. She tried all sorts of words even the three most common words that buisnesses had a tendency of using, after a good forty minutes of trying she turned to her hacker program to try and hack into it. Fifteen minutes later the program had been able to hack into the disk allowing her to see what was on it. After a few minutes of studying the data Aura knew exactly what she had and wasted no time in copying the data on to two other floppy disks. One copy would be in her purse, the other would stay at work and the original would remain hidden in an inside pocket of her trench coat. After she had copied the data on to the two floppy disks and had put one in her filing cabnet she immeadiately grabbed her pusre and cell phone. She told her boss that she was taking the rest of the day off and went straight to her car. She gotten started the engine and drove off towards Hikuuro Technologies to speak to Lance.

"Mr. Anderson," an elderly secretary stood in the doorway, "you have a phone call on line three."

"Why thank you, Mrs. Barrett," Lance gave a grateful smile and lifted the receiver, "Hello?"

"Lance! Lance, it's me. I really need to speak with you," Aura's voice filled with hightened excitement.

"Aura, calm down. When?" Lance leaned backwards in his tall, leather chair.

"Now, we have to talk now. You are not going to believe what I have just found," Aura's voice danced in shock.

"I can't do it now. I am about two minutes away from a very important meeting. Can we meet somewhere in about an hour? Good, I'll pick you up," Lance stood up and stretched his back.

"Lance, no, we-" Aura was cut off with a single click of Lance's receiver.

Running his hand over his face, Lance strode out of his office, buttoned up his suit and raked his fingers through his hair in a futlie attempt to tame the dark locks. He smiled at his secretary and walked towards an elevator.

"Mr. Anderson?" a man's voice jumped from Lance's immediate left.

"Yes'?" Lance pressed the button to go "up".

"Mr. Thompson wishes your presence," the man bowed lightly.

"Right, let him know I'm on my way," Lance jumped into the elevator.

Leaning against the cool wall of the elevator, he checked his relfection in elevator doors, brushing strands from his eyes and made sure he was clean shaven. He stretched his neck and took a quick glance at his fingernails. Sighing, Lance tapped his hand on his thigh, impatient. Patience wasn't a strong quality for Lance, especially when the elevators took years to move and you had to be somewhere important. The light finally flashed the destined floor. Lance bolted from the hunk of usless junk.

Striding in a smooth, calm demeanor, Lance kept his pace and only nodded to whom he recognized. A few tried to strike up a conversation, struggling to keep up with Lance's swift glide, curving the corners with agile ease. Lance ignored their pointless jibbering, annoying. He reached a single steel door at the end of the hall. Lance took the cold nob into his hand and pushed the door open.

The room was dark, cool, and clean. Stream metal desks and cabinets, bold black, leather chairs, blinds shut tightly allowing no shred of light to enter. Lance stood infront of a massive desk, reflecting his face which was as cold as the room. He faced a tall, swivel chair that was turned on him, preventing Lance to look upon the figure that lurked.

"Mr. Anderson, kind of you to join me. We have business," a deep, smooth voice shattered the nerve-raking silence.

"Indeed, Mr. Thompson," Lance smiled lightly and sat down in an opposite chair.

Dressed in an immaculately clean and pressed suit, Agent Nieta walked through the revolving doorway of a normal looking office building in the center of a large city.

He walked through the metal detector, and proceeded through the lobby to a single elevator. After gently depressing the up button, he waited patiently for the elevator to make the trip from whatever floor it was currently residing on. A mere six inches from his face, the metal door of the elevator shaft was perfectly clean. His reflection showed a tall man, wearing sunglasses and a very official looking earpiece.

The door slid to the left, to reveal the interior of an empty elevator. He stepped inside, and hit three buttons in rapid succession. The elevator door closed as the box began to slowly rise to the desired floor. Tapping his foot on the floor to the tune of a song, the federal agent yawned. He was tired; staying up on a work-night wasn?t an advisable course of action.

The door opened a second time, and Agent Nieta walked out into a room full of cubicles. Finding his own small space, he sat down in his chair and booted up his computer.

No sooner had he begun to work than he received a notification via his earpiece that he was needed in the director?s office. Rising from his seat, Mr. Nieta walked to the end of his row and entered a small office.

Sitting in a large padded chair on the other side of an ornate wooden desk sat a slightly overweight man, known to him only as The Director.

Agent Nieta: ?You summoned me??

Director: ?Yes, there is an urgent task that needs attention.?

The Director rose and pressed a recessed button on his desk. The painting on the wall behind the desk changed, revealing it?s true purpose as a display screen. The director sidestepped to allow Agent Nieta to fully view the screen.

Director: ?It has come to our attention that our most secret files have been accessed recently without authorization, from someone outside our network. As you know, this is a rare occurrence. This department?s job is to safeguard sensitive government data, to prevent important secrets from coming to light. If our security in this area is breached, there is no telling what else this person or organization can do. I want you to find this person or group and bring them in for questioning. Here is the street address of the Internet service provider that was used to access our network. Although it is unlikely that our hacker is still using it, it is our only lead.?

Jedgar: ?I will do my best.?

Director: ?I expect nothing less.?

Jedgar left the room, and turned right outside the office. He walked for several dozen meters before he reached a locked door, which he opened by placing his right index finger onto a small fingerprint-scanning pad. It chirped softly, and the door clicked open.

He entered a room with several racks of weapons, each with a multitude of ammunition. After picking up a machine gun and stowing it in a specially designed holster inside his coat along with several clips, he left the room.

Then he turned and made his way out of the building?

Mr Thompson swivelled the chair slightly, just enough to give a silhouetted glimpse of his jaw line to the programmer, he didn?t care much for faces and saw no need to see his worker?s now as the man sat coolly in the chair, hiding the nervousness that he couldn?t help but feel every time he met with his boss.

?Have you secured the plans Mr Anderson?? Thompson paused, yet never fully stopped making noise to show his subordinate that he was not finished. ?They are very important, we would be ruined if the wrong people were to see them.? He stopped speak just long enough for Lance to reply.

?Yes sir, they have been secured as you asked.? Lance fell silent in his chair and waited for his boss to reply.

?It is critical that the government, or anyone else for that matter, does not get a copy of the ralph?s keys. I have invested a lot of time and money on that program Mr Anderson and I assure you that if it is discovered I will not be the one to take the blame for it.? Mr Thompson?s voice was stern and serious, implying that Lance and the other programmers were responsible for anything that was to come from the discovery of RALPH. ?I assume you have them and all their copies kept safe, the government would be the least of our concerns if the general public was given access to Ralph.? Thompson paused, realizing that he was rambling on pointlessly. ?That will be all Mr Anderson, I expect a written report containing the project?s progress and any errors you have encountered on my desk tomorrow.?

Lance stood swiftly and left the room, heading back to the elevators to go pick up Aura, the encounter he had just had playing lightly on his mind?

Confidence, a trait of self-assurance. Confidence, trust or faith in someone or something. Confidence, Lance had for himself. He smoothly made his way into his office and sat down at his mahogany desk. Smiling, he picked up his telephone.

"Hello, Lance here. How are things going? The disk is secure?.........WHAT?! What do you mean?!..........A Fed? Son of a bitch! How could someone hack into the system? Who wou-" Lance dropped his receiver.

Aura.....Shit, I had the disk on me today. It must have fell from my pocket when I ran into her. Son of a fucking bitch... Lance stood from his chair and grabbed his coat.

He stormed out of the office, picking up his keys and cell phone. As if on cue, the phone began to ring. Lance flipped up the screen to see Arua's cell number. Stopping right outside of his car, he struggled to throw on his coat.

"Hello?"

"Lance, Lance, where are you? We have to talk now."

"Aura, where are you?" Lance climbed into the driver's seat of his BMW.

"I'm leaving from work..shall I meet you at your office?"

"No, do not come to my office...I mean, you know how I hate to have people interrupt my work. Let's meet at that little Chinese place. Rememeber?" Lance slid the key into the ignition.

"Yes, I'm on my way," Aura hung up.

Lance sighed and started his car. Shifting into first, Lance pulled out of the parking court and headed down the street towards the rendevous restaurant. Pulling up, Lance spotted Aura's car and parked next to hers. He locked his car and walked towards the restaurant. Once again, his cell began to ring. He looked at the number to see Mr. Thompson's office. Lance paused, relaxation washed over his voice.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Mr. Anderson, I have just been advised of some...disturbing news. You wouldn't have happened to hear?"

"Yes, Sir. I have been notified."

"Good, good," a slight pause, "You see, there's something that's troubling me about this. You were the only one to hold that disk."

"It was an accident, one in which will be simple to rectify. My girlfriend has the disk."

"You had better hope so, Lance. You are my best employee, I'd hate to see you.....disappear..over a woman."

With that last remark, a sharp click from Mr. Thompson's line. Lance took in a deep breath and slipped the cell into his breast pocket and swung the doors open. Looking around, Lance's now hard, cold eyes focused on Aura. She was sitting at their usual table, in the back. Lance casually made his way up to Aura, he put on his usual happy-go-lucky face and sat down across from Aura.

"Now that I have you were I want you," Lance spoke ironically, his face hid his voice's true meaning, "What is it that you just had to pull me from my tideous work?"

Aura sighed and rolled her eyes, "Explain this to me."

She slid the green disk across the table and stared at Lance. He plucked the disk from Aura's hand. He then looked at her.

"Where did you get this?"

"From you. You dropped it at my office earlier. Do you have any idea what's on that disk?" Aura whispered across the table.

Lance blinked, Aura hadn't given him the impression that she thought Lance might have known. So, Lance decided to take advantage of this small fortune.

"Video games?"

"Lance, I'm serious here."

"So am I. What's on the disk, Aura."

"What is on that disk is something that, if discovered by the wrong hacker, will bring the downfall of the largest powers of the corporal government and industries. That is probably the most powerful weapon you are holding in your hand. If used ignorantly, that disk will destroy technology and/or government."

Lance faked a concerned expression, "Well, what do you plan to do with this? Surely, we can't do a thing about this."

"Yes we can. We can destroy this disk...or, we could use it to our advantage.."

"How so?" Lance continued his ding-bat routine.

"Well, think about it. We could use it to turn the government on itself. With this, you could scramble their data base and screw the system up so bad, they wouldn't be able to make account for things let's say..oh, taxes, for starters?"

"Hm..sounds like a crazy plan. Did you make copies?" Lance waved the disk, as if to fan himself.

"Yes, I have two other copies," Aura reached for the disk.

"Uh uh, I'm keepin' this," Lance giggled and slid the disk into the waist of his pants, "You want this copy so bad, you come and get it."

Lance smiled mischieviously, he knew Aura would decline the offer. Indeed, she sighed in disgust and stood up.

"Fine, fine. I have to get back to work now," Aura walked over to Lance and kissed him on the forehead.

"Where are the other two copies?" Lance quickly stood up and followed Aura out to her car.

"They're at my office, why?" Aura spun around.

"Well, we don't need them to get into the wrong hands, now do we?" Lance leaned on his car.

"Of course not, what do you suggest?" Aura opened her door.

"Maybe I should take them for safe keeping?" Lance scratched his chin.

Aura shook her head, "I don't know what to do with them yet. I'll give you a call later, Lance. Oh, by the way, why would you have something like this, Lance?"

He shrugged, "I found it in the parking court this morning. I was going to take a look at it when I got into work.''

She shut her door and started the car. She gave Lance a relieved smile. Lance sighed and gave her a smile and wave before walking around to the driver's side. He watched Aura pull out of the parking lot and got into his car.

"That was close," taking a deep breath, Lance pulled out his cell and dialed.

"Mr. Thompson...she's made copies."

"How many, Lance?"

"There are three copies, one of which is in my possession."

"Where are the other two?"

"Her office. I think we might need to call a few people."

"I thought you said it was no problem, Lance," Mr. Thompson's voice grew in irritation.

"Yes, well, Aura is stubborn. I am surprised I was able to obtain this disk so easily. I think she's begining to suspect me now, so I might need some help."

"Come back to the office, and we shall discuss this matter."

"Yes, Sir."

Jedgar walked across the crosswalk outside the government office building with countless other pedestrians. Each one hurried this way and that, not noticing him at all. All of them were focused solely on their own lives, completely unaware of the big picture. Many a learned man would have been appalled by this complete ignorance and utter oblivion that these people lived in. The government, on the other hand, preferred it this way. This way it was much safer, more secure and easier to keep the people happy. As long as their favorite sitcom was playing that night, all would be well.

For the government, this all was no in jeopardy. His boss, ignorant as he was, had incorrectly described the situation. The reports he was now getting over his earpiece indicated that the system had not been hacked, but merely a vitally important disk crammed with sensitive material had been lost. The company that managed this portion of the government?s data had apparently launched it?s own retrieval effort, but the government wanted to make sure it succeeded.

Jedgar?s mission was simple. Find and recover the disk, destroy it if it looked as if he couldn?t be recovered. All copies of the information must be erased, all systems holding the information had to be destroyed, to prevent any chance of recovery. All people without proper clearance who had the disk in their possession must be eliminated.

Not an easy task, but then again he never got easy tasks.

He entered the parking garage and walked up the stairwell to level two. After kicking open the door with his foot, so as not to dirty his hands though contact with the filthy doorknob, he entered the government car-park. There were all types of vehicles here, all painted jet black and with tinted windows.

After selecting a Chevy Suburban, 2001 edition, he used a key from his pocket to open the door and start the engine. As he pulled out of the parking spot and drove down the ramp leading to ground level, he placed the scrap of paper with the disk manufacturer?s address on the dashboard. It was only a three hour drive?

The standardized black, multi-lined phones common among government facilities provided an easy hack for the RALPH program, even the National Security Agencies most secure lines had fallen victim to eavesdropping during the beta tests Mr Thompson had had performed. The middle-aged tossed the consequences of public access to RALPH as he waited for the phone to connect; he had already spoken to the Director?s ditsy secretary and was now waiting for the stubborn man to connect to the line.

?Hello?? The Director sounded uneasy as with his greeting. ?Is something wrong??

Mr Thompson paused for several moments before answering the man. ?You have heard what has happened I assume?? Mr Thompson knew the Director was an influential man and had many eyes and ears in the world around him.

?Yes, yes. I?ve been informed of the situation, Agent Nieta had been assigned with the retrieval of the disc.?

?That is not good enough.? Thompson paused, these discs were far too important to be left in the public for long. ?I want you to put your best men on this. You know what it could mean if the key falls into the wrong hands.?

?Yes Mr Thompson, this is the department?s top priority.? He paused, choosing his next words carefully. ?But I don?t want to draw more attention to the situation than I need to, not everyone can be trusted here.?

?Very well, just retrieve that disc, and make sure any copies are destroyed. I don?t care who you have to kill to do it.? The line fell silent as Mr Thompson disconnected. The Director replaced his handset in its socket and paused in thought?

OOC: Did all that make sense? PMe if I need to edit it or anything.

Aura entered her office thirty minutes after leaving the Chinese restaurant. She put her purse down next her computer and turned on her computer. She looked at the illumanis clock in the corner of her desk and noticed that it was 11:30.

Aura whispered, "Damn Vormir is going to be here in an hour."

She looked back to the screen and typed in her password. She started to pull up the data base for the new laptops when the thought about the floppy disks in her cabnet and inside zipper coat pocket came to mind. She had assumed that Lance had dropped it when he came into the building this morning. She didn't buy his 'I found it in the parking lot' story. Since he had obviously lied to her she had told him that both of the other copies were here at the office. So she had told him only half of the truth. At least she had been some what truthful. She went back to her project and worked on it nonstop. An hour later she started to get frustrated with whole thing when Vormir walked in.
She turned and looked at him before replying.

" Oh hi Vormir, let me just close this up real quick and we can go." she said in a sighing kind of voice.

" You sound frustrated." said Vormir.

" Yeah well you don't have to mess with some stupid laptops that refuse to work." she said as she turned of her computer and grabbed her purse.

" Well then this might cheer you up. We're going to Olive Garden for lunch. " he said with a grin.

She smiles at him and says, " Well that brightens up my day."

They both start laughing as they leave her office and headed toward Vormir's car.

OK Annie has said that it is alright if I post here now.

Agent Van Ambrose sat looking at the Director as he informed him of the situation at hand. Van was no computer expert, but he knew from what the Director was telling him that something like this could be a potential threat in the wrong hands, and into the wrong hands it had fallen. Van knew that his partner Jedgar Nieta had already been sent to neutralise the situation, Van also knew that Jedgar could be trusted with this job even with his problem around women. He asked the Director what he wanted done in this situation.

Director: Van, you've worked here a long time and I know that you can be trusted with a situation as dire as this, I want you to link up with Agent Nieta on this mission and so whatever it takes to solve the situation.

Van: Alright, I'll take the helicopter and meet with Jedgar at the target area ASAP. Jedagr left approximatly 1.5 hours ago by car to reach the target's home therefore I should be able to get there in about 1 hour by helicopter.

Director: OK, your orders are to terminate any and all possible threats and to retrieve or destroy all evidence of the disks, do you understand ?

Van: Affirmative sir, I'll leave immeditaitly.

Van stood up and nodded to the Director before leaving his office, Van decided to head to the armory before heading out on this mission. He put his hand out onto the palm scanner before walking through and removing a 9mm Beretta from one of the racks, he also took a couple clips of ammunition and put them in his pocket. Walking back out of the room and heading towards the helicopter pad at the top of the building. He signalled to the pilot to start the chopper and sat in.

After approx. one hour in flight, the helicopter Van was travelling in touched down at the predecided landing point in Chicago. Van stepped out and walked down into the Chicago Branch of the FBI, he was already awaited and at once took a car to this Aura Jones apartment. He took up the car phone and dialled Jedgar's carphone number.... after several rings Jedgar picked up the phone and Van explained to him that they would meet at Aura Jones apartment.

Van: Is that an affirmative Agent Nieta ?

Jedgar: Yes sir.

Lance stormed into Mr. Thompson's office and paced slowly. Mr. Thompson was finishing up a phone call.

"Ah, Mr. Anderson. I just got off the phone with a very powerful allie. He has caught onto this..problem. Do you know how embarrassed I am about this, Lance?" Mr. Thompson ran his finger along his desk.

"Yes, Sir. I give you my deepest apologies," Lance nodded.

"He took the liberty of sending two of his best men, and who knows if he's sending more. I'm not pleased, Lance."

"Would you like me to dispatch some of our relief?"

A short pause and a slight chuckle, "Yes, I believe it would be fine to invite them. It has been a while since they have stretched their legs.''

"I'm on it," Lance nodded and exited the room.

Keeping a brisk and smooth pace, Lance strode down the long corridor and into an elevator. He pressed a button for the basement. Slowly, the elevator finally reached the bottom and the doors opened silently. Looking about the dark area, Lance made his way down a cold, lean corridor. Once he reached the end, he opened a small door. Lance looked over his shoulder one last time and entered a small, private office. He walked over to a tall filing cabinet and pulled out a stack of yellow files.

"Who to call first?" Lance fumbled through individual criminal charges and records.

Suddenly, a name caught his eye. Smiling, Lance pulled the file and sifted through the thick stack of papers.

"Ah yes, Zetsuoushi Gen," Lance set the file down and pulled out his cell phone.

The phone rang several times before an answer.

"Yes?" a calm, low voice greeted.

"Zetsuoushi Gen? This is Lance Anderson of Hikuuro Technologies , there has been a problem here within the company."

"This means what to me?" Gen replied curtly.

"I am in need of your assistance. Would you be willing to meet with me to discuss the issue?"

Mr Thompson watched Lance leave the room, wondering how it was that he let shut an incompetent fool handle such sensitive material. Still shaking his head in thought Mr Thompson turned to the sleek screen humming quietly on his desk, quickly he typed his name and password into the login box. While Lance was charged with handling the companies project Mr Thompson had several of his own that required the use of the mainframes sitting in the building?s basement, there were only two terminals that had access to these powerful machines, one was located on the third floor, with research and development, Thompson was logging in with the other.

The information in the mainframes was vast and took sometime to navigate through, even if one knew the layout well. Thompson pulled up a screen full of streaming numbers and bizarre seeming nonsense, the program he had been working on, a sophisticated worm virus. He was nearing completion on his little project and began typing furiously, adding to the screens of code.

Coming to a block, a problem that would require a fair deal of thinking to solve, Mr Thompson decided to take a break and leaned back into the soft cushioning of his chair. A thought crossing his mind, Thompson returned to the keyboard and log off the mainframe, swiftly returning to the network that most of the company was used to using, its appearance incredibly different to the mainframe. Being a Unix based system the mainframe had been designed with a rather limited GUI, making it difficult for all those who had little experience to even access the powerful machines, let alone use them to some effect.

Sighing Thompson leaned on his arm and waited for the comparatively sluggish network to load. Logging in he brought up a quickly found his way, through numerous networks and finally to the Internet, to the FBI?s secure database. Here he spent the best part of the next hour trying various codes and hacks until he managed to find his way into the US citizen?s records that the agency kept on every American with so much as a traffic offence, a set of very secure records that few had full access to.

Logged in through a director?s account Mr Thompson quickly began a search on several of his high level employees, Lance being one of them, he knew too little about the people he trusted with so very much and it was time to change all that ?

Vormir unlocked his fairly new looking Camry and they got inside- glancing back, Vormir muttered lightly at the mess in his rear seats. Hastily, he tried to make it look at least a bit organized- but promptly gave up.

"If you'll excuse that. I- well, yeah."

She chuckled a bit, "Got some paperwork dumped on you?"

Buckling his seatbelt, he sighed a bit, "Horrendous amount- stuff dealing with that warehouse. I'm going to have a long night."

He grinned a bit and pulled out of the office's parking lot, driving relatively fast- but not erratically. Already they hit a long red light, and thus ensued conversation.

"So, what's new? Anything exciting going on in the life of miss Aura? Daring plots, great adventures? Or just the same old mediocrity?"

There was an odd pause before she replied, ".. Just the same old mediocrity."

He gave an odd glance, "Ah, that's bad. Yeap, just as I thought. You need some good food. Food cures all ills- that's the secret of life."

She grinned, and the small talk continued on as they made their way through the increasingly packed streets..

Aura and Vormir had reached the restaurant and were now sitting at a table looking over the menu. She decided to have the Tour of Italy and Coke since she did have to go back to work. She had just sat down her menu when the waiter arrived.

" Hi my name is Tony and I will be your waiter this evening. Are you two ready to order?" he said politely.

" Yes umm....I'll have the Tour of Italy with a Coke please." Aura said as she looked up at Tony.

Tony jotted it down before looking at Vormir saying, "Ok......and for you sir?"

" I'll have what she's having and I would also like the Mozzarella Cheese Stix appitizer please." Vormir said to the waiter.

" Will that be all? (Aura and Vormir nodded there heads) Alrighty then I'll be right out with your appitizer and drinks." Tony said as he closed the pad that he had been writing on.

As Tony walked past Aura he accidently knocked her coat off the chair next to her. Not realizing this he kept walking towards the kitchen. When Aura was about to get up Vormir ushered her to sit back down.

" Don't bother I'll get it." he said as he bent over to pick the coat up.

When he picked it up the floppy disk that had been in her hidden pocket fell out and hit the carpet. Vormir put the coat back onto the chair then bent over again to get the disk. He looked at it then at Aura. After a while he gave her a certain look that had the word 'explain' written in it.

She looked at him for a minute or two then replied, " Look I know that you want me to explain as to why I have a floppy disk in my hidden pocket and I promise you that I will, but for right now lets just enjoy lunch. (he started glaring at her) I'll explain everything in the car. Promise." she said while giving him a pleading look.

He sighed and said, " Alright Aura, but when we get in the car I had better hear your story or I won't take you back to work got that? (she nodded her head) good."

Vormir lightened up a little and they started chit chatting again as they waited for their food and while they ate their food.

Agent Nieta hung up his car phone and hit a button on his center console.

Controller: ?This is control, how can we help??

Jedgar: ?I need directions to the apartment of one Aura Jones.?

Controller: ?One moment? Got them. I?ll have them relayed to your earpiece.?

Jedgar: ?Thanks.?

He turned off of the freeway at the nearest exit, and headed for the apartment in question. It wasn?t in the greatest area of town, so he?d have to be careful. In fact, the area was known to harbor some of the more dangerous hacker groups that infested the city. Rumors abounded of their exploits, some going so far as to say that they were blackmailing the police department. He didn?t doubt it; his agency had reason to believe that their abilities were much greater than that?

He parked his car about a block from the residence in question and began to walk unhurriedly down the street towards the address he?d memorized.

Something about this Aura Jones rang a bell, but he couldn?t put a finger on it?

Aura and Vormir had just paid for there meal and were getting into the car. Vormir started up the engine and pulled out of the parking spot. Aura knew that sooner or later she would have to give him an explanation, but she wasn't sure how to approach the subject or how he would react to it. Once Vormir pulled out of the parking lot he looked over at Aura.

" So tell me, why do you have a floppy disk in hidden pocket and am I right in assuming that there are other copies of it lying around somewhere?" he asks.

Aura sighs as she confirms his guess. "Yes there are other copies of the disk. I found the original one on the floor at my work. Lance dropped it."

He gives her a suspicious look the replys, " Hu huh and what exactly is on this disk?"

" All of the passwords to the governments computer data base and the information that you would find in the data base." she stated bluntly.

He looked at her in horror then pulled off to the side of the road.

He looks back at her and replys, "Ok let me get this straight. Lance walked into your work, dropped a disk that just happens to contain the passwords to the government data, you find the disk and knowing you also hacked into it, and now you have made copies of it. Oh and you're also are carrying one of the copies in your coat pocket."

" Yes, Vormir that's exactly what happened. Now will you please pull back onto the road now and tke me to work?"

He looks at her then turns back to the wheel and drives back onto the road. He remains silent and drives her to work. Five minutes later when he pulls in the parking lot of her work he finally looks at her again.

" Aura I'm not going to lie to you so when I tell you that you have most likely put yourself in great danger I mean that almost without a doubt you have put yourself in great danger." he stated.

aura looked at him with an understanding and said, "I was afraid you were going to say that."

" How did Lance get the disk any way? " Vormir asked curiously.

" He says that he found it in the parking lot, but I think he lied to me so I don't know. (vormir stops the car in front of the building) Any way I got to get back to work." Aura said as she picked up her purse.

" Aura I want you to come over to my house for dinner so I can take a look at that floppy disk on my computer. Alright? " He asked.

" Sure, I'll be there at 8."

She gives Vormir a quick hug goodbye then gets out of the car and walks into the building.

Jedgar entered a derelict looking apartment building, covered in graffiti. The lobby looked trashed, as few windows were broken here and there. A few homeless people sat in the corners, their few possessions littering the ground around them. Jedgar didn?t fit in here, and he knew it.

Straight ahead of him was an elevator, but it had a key access system. Only someone with the appropriate key could access it. Even then, it wasn?t assured that a single key would give him access to every floor. He?d been in some secure buildings in which there was a different key for every floor.

Jedgar walked briskly forward, reaching into his pocket as he moved. His hand withdrew a small metal rod, covered in small, reflective black indents. He carefully inserted this into the keyhole.

The rod?s black indents projected small laser beams, which scanned the interior of the lock. All of this information was collected inside the rod?s microchip, creating an image of the required key. The rod gave a small chirp when its task was complete and Jedgar stowed it back in his pocket.

A hand hit him from behind, pressing him flat against the dirty metal of the elevator door.

???: ?Hand over your wallet and nobody will get hurt??

Agent Nieta: ?Unhand me and I?ll let you live.?

Several laughs were heard, echoing off the concrete walls.

???: ?Now. Give it to me now.?

Agent Nieta: ?Ok, it?s in my pocket.?

He reached slowly into his jacket, past his wallet. His hand closed on the handle of his machine gun.

Agent Nieta kicked out hard with his back foot, and whirled around to face his attackers.

Three older teenagers, dressed in grungy street clothes, stood against him. The closest had red hair, the one to his left had white hair and the lone girl had violently pink hair. They were armed with a chain, a pipe and a knife respectively.

The gang slowly advanced on him. Jedgar withdrew the machine gun from his coat, much to the dismay of the gang. They turned to run, but they couldn?t outrun bullets. Jedgar filled the air with bullets, dropping all three and shattering a plate glass window.

He walked over to the bodies that now littered the floor, to search their pockets. None of them had anything of value; small change, scraps of paper and some identification. No keys?

Agent Nieta rose, and walked over into the shadows that obscured one of the lobby?s corners. He?d wait for someone with a key?

Van's car pulled up just feet away from the corpses of the teens who'd assaulted Agent Nieta, he saw his partner in the corner and beckoned him to the car so that they could talk. Jedgar saw Van and quickly came over to the car while Van sat waiting, he opened the door and sat down looking from Van's expression to the corpses on the path ahead.

Van: I assume it was necessary

Jedgar: Yes, the assaulted me and I responded.

Van: Looking at machine gun Alright Picks up car phone and hits redial, yes this is Agent Van Ambrose, I need a clean up crew at my current co-ordinates.

Female Voice: We'll have one out to you as soon as possible.

Van: Alright, I'll be waiting. Puts down phone, what's the situation ?

Jedgar: The elevator has a key system and we need the right key to get in.

Van: I have a key, Removes it from pocket and hands it to Jedgar. Now let's get to work.

Both Agents stepped out of the car and headed towards the elevator in question, many of the homeless people whod' inhabited the spot had now left but Van was sure they'd be back. Jedgar slipped the key into the assigned slot and turned it, the elevator doors creeked open and both men walked inside. Van pushed the button for Aura's apartment level and the doors creeked closed, the lift groaned and then began to ascend through the building. After a few moments the doors opened again and both men proceeded out towards Aura apartment, Van rapped his knuckle against the door and then checked to see if it was open.

Van raised his foot and kicked against the door knocking it open, both men entered the apartment and scanned about with guns raised. They knew that if Aura was here then she was to be killed immediatly and anyone else who she might have been in contact with in regard to the disks. Van began to check around and found her Personal Computer on the desk, he checked the floppy drive but found nothing inside, out of partial orders and partial frustration Van unloaded his clip into the computer mini-tower. It hissed and then sparked, it was well dead and if there was anything left on it, it wouldn't be for long, he changed the clip and walked around checking through anything that might have the disk stored in it.

After several minutes he came up with nothing and called to see if Jedgar had had any luck with his search, "Nothing yet" he responded, this put Van in ana even worse mood. He walked up to the television and switched it on, he began flicking through the channels "Dr Phil, Oprah and more chatshow crap". He turned over to the local news channel and saw that there was a crew of reporters outside the building they were on, "Jedgar, we've got a serious problem here, the media's all over the place". Jedgar came running in an looked at the television, he swore and noted that the Feds Van had called in hadn't arrived yet, Van was still agitated over not being able to find the diskand now they had this screw up. He slammed his hand into the palm of the other and then pushed the TV backwards onto the floor, it crashed into little bits and pieces and there sitting on the spot where the TV had been place was the copied disk.

Van: I don't believe it !, she put it under the TV ! Picks up and pockets the disk.

Jedgar: Alright that's our work here done.

Van: Not by a long shot, we have to torch the place to disguise we've been here.

Jedgar: Alright but that seems to be overkill.

Van: You know as well as I do that she can't be allowed to find out that we've been here.

It was 6-o-clock when Aura finally left work. She had stopped by Kash-N-Karry to do a little grocery shopping before heading home. It was 6:30 when she got back to her car with her groceries. She was three blocks from her apartment when she had to pull over to let a firetruck pass her which was going 50 mph.

*I wonder where they are headed.* Aura thought as she pulled back onto the road.

five minutes later Aura pulled up to her apartment building. She saw the firetruck that had passed her earlier trying to put out a fire that was coming from the windows in her apartment. She stared in shock as she got out of her car. She was still staring at the roaring flames when her neighbor Becky ran up to her.

Becky looked at Aura with concern as she said, "Oh Aura, I am so sorry that it had to be you who had the fire."

Aura looked at Becky as if though seeing Becky for the first time. Aura shook her head silently before pulling herself back together.

" How did this happen?" she asked Becky in somewhat of a calm voice.

Becky shook her head as she responded, " No one knows Aura. One minute we were all going about our buisness and the next the fire alarm was going off. (Aura looked down to the ground) We didn't where the fire was until we came out here and looked up at building. (Aura nodded her head in understanding) Why don't you go see Lance while I take care of all the questions that you would be ask?"

Aura looked back up at her and smiled slightly as she said, " Thanx Becky, I think I will."

Becky gave her a quick hug before opening the car door to let Aura in. Once Aura was in Becky shut the car door and Aura started up the engine. After she put on her seat belt she drove off down the street, but instead of going to see Lance she was heading towards Vormir's apartment. Half of an hour later Aura was knocking on Vormir's door which was ight in front of the parking lot on the second floor. So she didn't have to walk far from her car. After knocking three times the door opened and a shocked Vormir was staring at her.

" Aura, your an hour early. I wasn't expecting you untill eight." Vormir said surprisenly.

Aura thought for a moment a about how she was going to tell him that her apartment was burned down and that she had groceries in the car. All of a sudden she remembered the floppy disk he had given her for safe keeping three years ago and figured that she would start there.

She looked at him and said, "Hey, Vormir Do you remember that floppy disk you gave me three years ago?"

He looked at her perplexed and said, " You mean the one that had the one that had the information of my inheritance from my grandfather? (Aura nodded her head) Yeah I remember it. I gave you that copy just incase if I should lose the original."

"Yeah, well I don't have it any more." she said in a small voice.

He looked at her with a frown and said, " What do you mean you don't have it? You said that you hid it underneith the television for safe keeping."

" That's just it. (sighs and then forces her self to tell him) When I got home after work there was a firetruck in front of my buliding. (looks down before continueing) It was my apartment that was on fire." she finished in a whisper.

He looked at her in horror then pulled her into his arms held her.

" I am so sorry Aura." he said kindly.

After hearing those words she finally broke down and stared crying.

" Oh god Vormir. All of my things were in there. Everything I had ever owned was in there and now it's gone. It's all gone." she said as she cried on his shoulder.

" Shh....It's alright honey. I'll help you out. Just like I always do when you're in trouble. Just like you would do for me if I was in trouble right now. (he pulled back a little to look at her) Okay? " he said in a soothing voice which calmed her down immensly.

She nodded her head and smiled up at him in reassurance.

" Alright, then let's go on inside and have a cup of coffee." he said as he put an arm around her shoulders.

" Umm...would it be alright to put my groceries in your fridge? I had bought some on my way home from work. " she asked sweetly.

He laughed then said, "Of coarse you can. Let's go get them real quick."

They both went down stairs to Aura's car and got the few paper bags full of food. Then they went back upstair and into his apartment.

OOC: This will be my final post in this RP. It was a pleasure working with you all, keep up the good work. Moving on, I'm calling out the rest of the Jitsuka henchman in this post.

IC:

"Thank you, Gen..yes, tomorrow at three..Yes, I know that place. Right," a sharp click of the receiver.

Lance ran his hands vigorously over his face, ending them on his forehead. He was tired and worn out, but he kept his cool. Looking around the dismal room, Lance thumbed through the unbelievable stacks of files. He rolled his head around to crack his neck and sighed.

"Now who to choose....Ah, she should have been the first person to call..." Lance picked up the phone and dialed.

"Hello?" a soft, sweet voice replied.

"Yes, Ms. Terran Sung? This is Lance Anderson fro-"

"Yes, I know who you are, Lance,'' Terran soothed.

"Ehem, well, thank you for making it easier for me. I'm calling you because the company needs your help. Vital information has unexpectedly seeped into civilian hands. Information that cannot be discussed over the phone," Lance spoke quietly while looking for more names.

"We meet," Terran stated.

"Yes, at 1432 Princeton Boulevard tomorrow at three," Lance pulled out a third file.

"Right, see you there," a dead line.

"Okie dokie then......." Lance began to dial another number.

Several rings later, "Hello?"

"Mr. Joey Neff?"

"Who's asking?"

"Lance Anderson, long time no hear buddy."

"Ah, Lance me man. How the hell are you?"

"No time for pleasantries. Tomorrow, three o'clock, 1432 Princeton Boulevard. Be there," Lance instructed.

"It's a date," Lance chuckled and hung up with Joey, dialing another number.

"Hello?"

"Ms. Ashika Knyght? This is Lance Anderson fro-"

"Get on with it. What do you need?''

"1432 Princeton Boulevard, three o'clock tomorrow."

"I'm there." Click.

He leaned back in his chair and began to relax, massaging his neck. Groaning lightly, Lance stood up and stretched. Pings and clanks of the building's air conditioning system echoed throughout the desolate basement. Peace and calm. Suddenly, Lance's cell phone jolted him out of the serene tranz.

Fumbling with the phone, "He-hello? Yes, this is Lance...Oh, hey Becky...What?....How? Where is she?........No, she's not with me......I see...I don't know where she is, but I will go find her. Trust me, I'll find her."

"Yes, at 1432 Princeton Boulevard tomorrow at three."

She had heard enough. With a simple press of a button, she dismissed herself from the call she had so quietly hacked herself into and locked the kyepad.

Senrai Chii-Rha turned her head quietly and watched the traffic go by on the street. Then she looked back to her laptop screen. It flickered, its reflection in her eyes. She smiled thinly and hit the Enter key. Instantly it went blank and shut down. She closed the top with her left hand and slid it across the table. Then she stood and dropped it into her backpack. With delicate movements, she unplugged a cord from her cell phone and deposited the end into her pocket. With her hand still in the pocket, she replugged it into her iPod.

Instantly, music flooded in her ears. She slid her cell phone into its case and dropped that into her pack as well. Senrai zipped up the edges and swung the straps onto her shoulders. It was time to go.

".....at three."

She would show up tomorrow, as she had been told to. Her employer would be very pleased when she listened to their meeting like she had their plans to create the meeting in the first place. Without a single qualm, she had accepted this job... ..and she was ever so close to fufilling it. Nothing could make her happier. ....except maybe something involving the opposite sex.

Ashika had her pistol laid out on her bed, the weapon completely dismantled as she cleaned it with care. Classical Japanese music played softly in the background, and she hummed lightly to the familiar tunes. They were suddenly disrupted when her 'buisness phone' rang. Setting down the peice she was working on, Ashi picked up the reciever, her smooth alto voice carrying perfectly over the phone. "Hello?"

"Ms. Ashika Knyght? This is Lance Anderson fro-"

She almost rolled her eyes, not bothering to sit down, "Get on with it. What do you need?''

"1432 Princeton Boulevard, three o'clock tomorrow."

"I'm there." Click. She flipped the sleek black reciever back in its holder and turned back to her bed. There was no need to write anything down. She would be there.

Within seconds the tactical weapon was whole again, clean and ready to be loaded. She always kept a bullet in the chamber. Placing it on her bedside table next to her glass of water, she turned and moved to her walk-in closet.

After a few minutes, she returned with a medium sized breifcase and her sheathed tanto. Placing both on her dresser, she made ready for bed. The fact that three deadly weapons lay less than four feet from her head didn't bother her in the least.

Lance Anderson, huh. She smirked despite herself. Tomorrow would be interesting. Tonight she would sleep well.

Michael picked up his phone to make the long distance call.
"Aura. Its me Ace, are u alright. I heard about the fire."
"Yeah I'm alright. I wasnt there when it happened."
"Good to hear.Well i found out about the fire from the international news. I was curious and decided to check it out. I hacked into the police database and found out that the house was yours. It turns out that they suspect arson. Gasoline traces were found, but that was it.
"You think that they tracked you or know that you were in their system?"
"Come on Aura. I thought you knew me better than that. I routed the signal through 1000 servers on 5 continents over the world and this new program i wrote is encrypted so sophistically, it makes the guys at the pentagon software look jurassic. You know my skills Aura. I haven't been caught yet and with my training from those feds since I was a boy are top notch.
"Yes, I do agree."
"Seriously though, do you think you know of anyone who would do this to you?
"Well yes. I got my hands on some pretty hot information and I think the forces above know that I possess this info."
"Sounds like you are in it bad. What exactly is this information? A disk....."
"Stop talking. The signal from your phone is tainted somehow. My briefcase's(the case) computer is wirelessly connected to my phone and laptop. My notebook says that your phone's feed is being monitored or trying to be bolcked. I don't know which one right now, so I'll run a diagnostic on it. My laptop has encrypted the signal right now but its obvious that someone is trying to find out things. Do you want me to fly over and over some assistance? I'm in the Bahamas right now with Rashanna but I can be there in 4 hours. You know my skills can come in handy and I doubt there is anyone who you know that can challenge me in a fight or in a battle of wits. I have doubled my skills since we last met and I am a force to be reckoned with"
"Yes I agree. You can come and you can reach me at 453 7234 for more info."
"I'm on it. See ya soon. Don't tell Lance I'm coming. Let it be a surprise. I can't wait to come. I'm back in action. Don't worry bout a thing, I got your back."
"Thanks for coming."
"Watch your back now. You know how to reach me. I'll hack into your cell phone and put my real encryption software on it. After that you won't have to worry about your converstaions unless someone has an exterior bug. Gotta run. Be there before you know it. Bye"
Michael hung up the phone quickly. He left his house and sped off to the airplane with a smug look on his face. He knew more than he led Aura to believe over the phone to protect her. He knew not to let Lance know of his arrival because he knew all of the secrets that Lance didn't tell Aura. The Ace was on the case and to him life was sweet. Enemies to fight and he knew the background of all of them. His brain is his secret weapon and he never goes into a fight unprepared. The 23 year old sped down the highway laughing to himself " The agents are in for a big surprise. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" as the car zoomed off.
