I only saw it for ?I?Rç?¾. I like Uma Thurman too.

I thought the movie was unbelievably corny. I liked the sexy dialogue though.

But that was the whole point really, wasn't it Lava Lamp?

Tarentino (sp?) wanted to create the Ulimate B-Movie, paying homage too all the greats in the genre...

If you ask me, he did on kick *** job doing that! Uma did an amazing job pulling off that role, must been real tough to get it right
especially in the chapel massacre scene, and the doctor rape thing.... nasty...
Anyway it couldn't fault it anywhere... it did all that was asked of it very well, and nothing more. Can't wait for Vol. 2 :D

Peace out!!!

Lol yeah, it wasn't a serious movie, a total joke really. The fight with Lucy Liu and Uma Thurman was awesome, more inventive than Neo and Smith by far. Anyways I am looking forward to the bodyguards sister in Vol. 2, that lawyer chick said she goes insane, Tarantino could have a lot of fun making that a scene. :)

"Trixs are for Kids"
*puts on her Trix shirt* Yeah! As you may have been able to tell that was probably one of my top ten favorite parts in the movie. Heh but anyways it was a good movie. That was one hell of a cliff-hanger too. Oh well....My favorite part int he movie was
was when they were at the club and the crazy 88(well i think that's what they were called. The movie did come out a few months ago...)were fighting the Bride and she slipped on a puddle of blood and just started break dancing while cutting off their feet
That was awsome. So was when she killed
Go-Go
. There was already a thread for this by the way...

two words. GoGo Yubari. She made the movie for me, I was completely entranced by her for some reason. I mainly liked the movie because it was so different. I do not think it was aimed for a specific audience, nor did it go with the standards that many people hold to a good movie today. It was what it was, and those differences are what really made KillBill such a great movie in my eyes.

sorry didn't see the other topic, and yea Gogo was pretty cool. They said something about her having a sister, so maybe more Yubari family fun is coming.
i hope this spoiler thing works, anyways best part was when she was sitting at bar and drinking like 2 gallons of sake or vodka or something. then stabs that guy for hitting on her.
I loved the move, of course its main draw being the gore, blood and sword fights for me, but I also loved how it was all done. They used a lot of unique camera styles, and way to tell the story. Not to mention that little anime cartoon was awesome.

I've never liked Uma Thurman. I thought she was a pretty talentless actress, not to mention she isn't all that good looking. I always wondered how the hell she even got anywhere in the business, but then I remember Leonardo Decrapio, and just let it go. This was probably the only role I've every actually liked seeing Uma in, and it surprised me that she even could make it better, but she did. Good movie overall.

To me it seemed too much like an homage to the "bad anime" out there (bad in my opinion, and that means it's bad, dammit). I know he wanted to make a corny movie, but unfortunately that's what he got out of it. I can bash this film all day long, honestly. There's the half-hour-long completely irrelevant and mindlessly scripted Lucy Liu flashback, the total lack of flow due to the needlessly non-chronological story, and the complete lack of plot, among other problems. I don't care if you disagree, because then you are wrong. Most of my friends love the film too, but they don't think when watching movies.
