Guest Midnight Rush
Ok! Its nearly SuperBowl time, and although the Raiders aren't there (*cries*), it is still among America's most important events. Now before today I had a very different idea of what would happen than I do now. As for AFC Championships (Which is on now), I originally thought that Indianapolis would steamroll the Patriots. Boy was I wrong. Currently down 7-15, Indy is embarrassing my credibility as an acurate predictor (that a word?) and emptying my wallet on stupid bets. Peyton Manning is shaken but getting back, and Patriots are still dominating. I'll write more as the games progress today. PJB
Nate
Yep..the Colts are geting their butt beat currently..no thanks to the messed up punt *chcukles* i hope the Patriots win it. My preditions: The Patriots win the colts vs. Patriots game I'm not completely sure who will win the Phili vs. Carolina game..i like both of them, but i'm leaning towards Phili. Then it will come down ot Phili and Patriots, and the Patriots will win. But that's my hopes and dreams and wishes and my hopes, dreams, and wishes rarely happen (when it comes to football)
Guest Midnight Rush
Yeah, Colts are not only beating themselves, the Refs are throwing some punches. But whatever I'm all for AFC so I geuss I don't care too much who wins. Tony Dungee deserves a SuperBowl Ring though, doesn't seem like he will get one. Guest Midnight Rush
Well your hopes are fulfilled! Pats go to SB, and will easily win. You picked the winning team Angelus.
Oukan05
I can't believe it. The Patriots go to the SB again. Sounds cool. I'm watching the playoff game right now between Eagles and Panthers (hope I spelled it right). To my prediction, I'm going for the Eagles. I had hopes for other teams going to the SB; too bad they didn't do good. Oh well, matbe next time though. Oh Yeah; I can't wait for the big game. I'm a huge fan of the Superbowl games. I wish I could go though; I've never went to a real football game before, but I did played football (not a real game, just for fun) when I was young. First time played; made my first touchdown; yeah!!!!:D GO EAGLES GO!!!!! YOU BETTER WIN!! :D (sorry, got too excited. Must be the soda kicking in)
James P. Galvatron
I tell you people it seems if the Panthers will do it. Its second quarter Carolina Panthers 7 to Eagles 0 4:18 on the clock in the NFC title is on the line my money is on the Panthers and the SB you know my bet is The New England Patriots i've been cheering for them since 2001 when they defeated the Rams by a field goal. Guest Midnight Rush
McNabb just took a nasty injury. I'd say hes playing at about 70% now. Carolina has my vote for the win. BUt as for SB, its Pats for the ring. So far Philly has been able to make explosive comebacks from nasty setbacks, so I am not writing them off just yet. krippled master
New England will lose to Carolina if the panthers go. In all honesty, New England played a pretty crappy game for a team that got like 100 interceptions. They scored one touchdown and couldnt score another TD. The Colts not only got killed by themselves, but I think mostly by the officials. The Colts had a horrible game, but if New England cannot get into the endzone, I wouldnt count on them to win the superbowl.
Transtic Nerve
::looks down at NFL picks:: Yeah, I wonder who I want to win?.... Anyway, you're disappointing yourself... first you liek the Raiders, then you want the Colts to win.... shame.... two horribly overrated teams... anyway... yeah.... as much as I don't liek Carolina, they were one of my top 5 picks from the very beggining of the season and the only one left as far as last week. So yeah. Panthers will win it.
Oukan05
Dang!! And I thought the cool team I like would make it. Ahhh, I thought the Eagles would do well; now they're getting killed out there. Well, so much for the SB. Everytime I pick a cool team to win, they always loose. Why does that happen? Am I a curse to football teams that should win?:( ...Well....Tha's cool!!!
shahi
I had to go for the Panthers in this game they arn't my favorite team but the way I see it the Eagles Talked to much stuff and now its the fourth courter Car14 Phi3 the games already over the Panthers won.(I wonder what there gonna say on the radio tomorrow) No disrespect to Eagle fans
WW2
Ahahaha! The Panthers won the Championship, beating the Eagles 14 to 3.:D All in all it was a good game, but I was surprised to see how uneventful it was. There wasn't any overtime, like last weeks game, the Panthers just went out there and beat em'. Oh well, its nice to finally see the home team go to the Super Bowl, especially since they were the worst team a couple of years ago. But there is gonna be a drawback now that they've won. I just know the local radio stations are gonna start playing that stupid Carolina Panther rap constantly.:(
shahi
I'm happy they won really but for the rest of the week I'm listening to power 98 they don't play the carolina rap constantly at least

I thought the Philadelphia Eagles were the only team with their won rap song. I didn't even imagine other fans were rabid enough to invest themselves in that sort of hoopla. Although I'm not a diehard Eagles fan, I'll admit it's a shame they lost. This is their third straight loss in the championship game. I can't even fathom how disappointed the fans must be at this point. When you take into consideration how much the team overcame this season to reach this level, one can only conclude they'll be devastated. Anyone who knows anything about football knows that Philadelphia fans take their football very seriously. Ah well. So it's the Panthers who will go on to be defeated by New England. lol
James P. Galvatron
Never Charles the Pats will win they will be the Champs Brady will be MVP and Ty Law will run many yardages. If the defense of Patriots played like they did yesterday Carolina doesn't stand a chance Carolina's qb cant throw anyway.
Shinmaru
If the Panther's QB can't throw, then how did the Panthers recieving corps end up 2nd overall in the playoffs behind the Colts in recieving yards per game? lol I think this will be an interesting game because the Patriots and the Panthers are similar teams; both have a defense-first approach and their offenses do enough to get the job done and pick up the win. However, sad as it is for me to say it, I have to give the nod to the Patriots. Their team just seems better to me, heh. There's no doubt in my mind that it will be a close game, but I see the Patriots coming out on top, though I'd rather the Panthers win.

Transtic Nerve
As we have seen with several other Super Bowls, last years for example, that you can't judge a superbowl team by how they played during the regular seasons.... The Pats and the Panthers haven't played each other in the regular season, they have no idea what to expect from the other team. Everyone thought the Radiers would win the SuperBowl last year, and well, the Bucs shoved it so far down their throat, you see what happened. And now look at those Raiders... so bad.... Most AFC fans don't see many Panther games, we see every one here since they are in the same division as the Bucs.... I've seen how they played and they are really unpredictble... they can win when it looks like they are going to lose and lose when you expect them to win. Fromt he Pats games I've seen, well they play pretty well on a consistant basis. And from what I've seen, they kick alot of Field Goals (which means they can't quite get to the enzone on a regular basis) and the Panthers have a great special teams against that (they blocked THREE against Tampa in one game). Both teams have a pretty ok offense and great defense. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a low scoring game and if it goes into overtime. Panthers seem to enjoy overtime alot. And last minute wins. They've had their fair share on last minute wins this season. Carolina can and WILL win the SuperBowl. New England simply won't be able to keep up with the randomness they have in their defense and offense.

But I am a real Raiders fan so I haven't given up on them yet (always next year right?), although they won't be back to playoff form until I've accumulated enough minimum wage money to buy them... Anyways, Panthers will win. DelHomme (sp?) is decent, and Panthers defense in unreal. I can't see Patriots winning.
James P. Galvatron
Never Pats Pats the Patriots have a decent running and throwing game while Panthers may have a good throwing game and special teams with the Patriots Safties playing like they did last game the Panthers are in trouble. Epitome
Panthers are going to take the Pats to school. They have a much better team and have a much better offence over all. The only thing I am worried about is the Patriots defense. They could really hurt us, but hey, everyone was saying that they would lose to the Eagles, and who won. Thats right, so Panthers all the way.
James P. Galvatron
You are wrong the Panthers are gonna be run out of there with their tails dragging behind them. The Pats defense is really a threat, but the pats special teams are also dangerous along with there running back Ty Law and Tom Brady don't count them out. Guest Sharpie
Pats have Law, Brady, Bruschi, and Washington. They will win. Plus I'm a pats fan from way back.
