Most people say it's either because I'm nice, or I make them laugh. I think it's because of all those things, and the fact that I stand up for them when they need it most. Like anonymous source said. I can be one of the most loyal people you could ever be friends with. All I can say is: It makes no difference if your the "wierd one" in school, you just prove that your the individual, your not afraid to do things your way. Either that or you prove your insane, but that's fine to... *Glances closely at the computer* HEY! :) I'm at 100 Posts! WHOOHOO! *does the happy dance* haha! 100 posts! Anyway, that's really not the point of the thread. I have this one kid at my school and he's one of those "punky" people I guess. He wears pretty much the same thing everyday; the same Nirvana sweater and the same pair of Hot Topic jean type thingies... But, what's wierd is that in 3rd grade, he was in the SpEd class and he's in TAG now. (8th grade) I think he even skipped a grade...4th or something. But, he's really perved and he's really evil. One time in Language Arts, he cut a piece of my friend's hair off for no apparent reason...he got ISS. Lol. And, he pretty much scares everyone in the school, has no friends, to me seems to be faking depression for attention even though through a few reliable sources I've been told otherwise, and is just plain creepy. People also call me weird because I have this weird self-diagnosed syndrom where I can't stop moving nor keep my balance. That's why I'm always rocking back and fourth when I stand. I also have this weird and almost irresistable urge to jerk my head in random directions. Feels good for some odd reason. Why? I don't know. Takun Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 Im not concerned with the whole deal of being weird, except it's only the people that annoy me i try not to hang out with. almost everyone at my school has at least one friend. although there's only about 300 people that go there though, so you basically get to know alot of people and recognize everyone. My school is a place where no one cares what people do, i mean, some people go singing down the halls, or playing catch with their lunchboxes. i don't mind stuff like that. and there is people that do weird things that annoy me. but my friends are quite weird at times, sometimes it annoys me but you have to learn to get over those little things that only happen twice in a year that don't really matter. anyways, i forgot what i was going to say XD and another thing, if someone at your school is poor and you know they arent fakeing it then i don't really think you should put them down because they don't have enough money to wash their clothes or buy more. it's hard to be poor, and i think it would hurt to know that you arent being accepted because of it. but thats something i just wanted to say. well, yeah, we do have weird people at our school, it always seems to be some of the seventh graders,(our school is 7th to 12th grades) one wont stop following my group of friends around and lieing to everyone. it really confuses us up, and he really gets me mad at times and he's really annoying. just yesterday he tried to get "revenge" on me by lieing to one of my other friends, but the thing is i never did anything to him. but thankfully today we got it all sorted out, it was a confusing mess. well, i think i've been talking too much. so yeah, thats another thing i find sortof annoying. What's normal in your community/society whatever, is going to be weird somewhere else, to somebody else, and the things they do are going to be just as strange and nonsensical to you. But let me fill you in on something..... 1: She does not have a "problem" as I like to call it. (retared is just, crule you know?) 2: She is rich, not poor. Trust me. 3: I know you can wear jeans two times, but she wears them three or four times. and 4: I don't make fun of her unless I have a reason. It would be mean to do something to unless she said/did something mean to me. *eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth* But the biggest thing that happened today at school was she said that her boyfriend in Tahoe(sp?), asked her to marry her.........she said he came down in a suit, and asked her........she wore a "plastic" ring.......but today, she had a different one on. My friend asked her where she got it because her "boyfriend lived in Tahoe(sp?). She said that she got it in the mail.......so, does she really have a boyfriend? We are all a bunch of idiots, from 11 year-olds to... 16 or something. Sometimes, most of us, you wouldn't weirdo's, you could call us rules breakers or disrepectful kids. The really, really mad person is unthinkable because we all have mad moments. The teachers are lost with us, it's fun. I know tht's kind of mean, but its true, they are (or most of them are) complete characters. One girl has the mental capacity of a siz year old, and thus acts like on. Very disconcerting when she runs into your class in the middle of test and screams 'HELLO!!!!'. Another one has a chronic anger problem and is likely to snap at any minute. Another one... Aprt from Special Ed. me and my friends would be the wierdest at our school. We don't fit into any of the general populace's 'categories' and are kinda eclectic with our actions (Reading in library one minute, punching each other in the face the next). And wiggers hate us. I don't know if that's just weird or if that's gross Our school had this weird honor system where if you got a good report card they gave you a ticket to wear civvies instead of the uniform and this one girl came in wearing pumps with straight legged hi water jeans. O_o He also wears tye-dye shirts, and smokes pot, so he's seen as sort of a hippie. During the first week or so, I saw him around the hallway and could just tell that he was going to be an outcast. Half way through the year, he now sits at my lunch table, is really good friends with one of my friends, and is the center of attention, lol. He's always yelling the craziest things, and eating any food that happens to drop on the table. The guy's pretty disgusting, but I guess he's kind of cool, too. Preps hate him, druggies love him, and everyone else is indifferent. Another crazy kid that I know is the sort of.. outcast crazy. He sits next to me in Art class, and he basically spends the class period making himself look like a jackass, haha. He never does any work, and randomly says stuff like, "God, smite me now", "The one ring.. [i]the rule them all[/i]!", and "I'd sell my soul for a doughtnut". None of it is funny, except how stupid he makes himself look, and he's horrible when it comes to standing up to peer pressure.
