Nikorasu
Found at http://www.fictionpress.com/~nikorasu Creature of the Night I am in the dark, the shadows of the streets and alleys of a world you will hopefully never see. I am searching, searching for those who are like me, who are unique, who are creatures of the night who care nothing of you, your family, your friends, or anyone else. I am searching for those who have abilities, abilities that you will never have, that no human should ever have. Why am I down here? Because I can. I can fight them. I can stop them, stop them from hurting you, your family, your friends, or anyone else. You will hopefully never see me. You will only hear of me in tales meant to frighten children. Even if you do see me, you will probably hate me, fear me, for I am unique. I am a creature of the night. I have abilities that you will never and should never have. However, I don't care. I'm not doing this for fame or admiration. I am down here because I can and you can't. I am down here because I can't. I can't ignore my conscience, and I can't let you down.
Nikorasu
Knight in Shining Armor He runs up the tower. He failed his duty once. He is determined not to fail again. An army of opponents stands in his way, each able to kill him without a second thought. However, he does not give up. He is the knight in shining armor, sworn to protect. He fights through an infinite number of enemies with just his sword and shield. He runs. One more villain to go. Their swords clash. The fight seems like forever. Then he hears a scream, her scream. His sword shatters the villain's shield. His shield blocks the villain's sword. His sword goes through the villain's chest. He runs. He runs up the stairs to the scream. The stairs go on forever and ever. He reaches a door. He opens it, just to find a body hanging above the floor by a rope; one end attached to a beam on the ceiling and the other around her neck. He cuts the body down, throws it over his shoulder, and walks down the tower over the bodies of those he had killed to save her. He does not think about the kingdom that will hate him for his failure, nor about the king that will more than likely want him dead. All he knows now is that he failed her twice. He could not protect her. He could not save her. He could not be her knight in shining armor
