[Katana]

For those of you who don't know, MythBusters is a show on Discovery where these two guys test myths to see if they're, in fact, real. Usually they're not, but they always try to make it happen, whether it's pour a whole can of gunpowder into a barrel and light it up or spray a whole room in gasoleine and create a big spark. (They like making things blow up. ^^)

For those of you that do know about the show, then alright! I searched around here and found that there wasn't a thread (or at least, not a fairly recent one) for this really spiffy show. So sad...

Alright, just so this things stays alive and with no-spam, here's a few questions for MythBusters fans.

1.) Favorite episode/myth and why
2.) Who you like better, Adam or Jamie
3.) Would you recommend this show to other people, why or why not

1.) Let's see...I really liked the 'Escape from Alcatraz'. The myth, really. I didn't like the episode that much. It would've been better without the duck thingie, but that's just me.
I found this one really cool. The whole concept of the myth was really awesome, and in the end you had to decided whether those three guys really escaped and lived or drowned (or drifted all the way over to Japan. ^^) But the whole thing was just a lot of fun, for me. Well, I like seeing those type of things that challenge what people think, in a more advanced concept like that one.
(Adam and Jamie banging mallets) Adam: Was that a guard? (holds hand up to ear) Nah. [i]BANG BANG BANG[/i]

2.) Draw. I can't really decide on this one. I like Adam because he's funny in his loud way. Jamie is too, though, in his quiet and suttle way. Alright, so I like them both because they're funny. ^^

3.) I believe I would, but only if the person I'm trying to convince likes science and myths and humor.

1. "Wooden Cannon". They built a wooden medival style cannon. Then, they had to see if it worked. The whole process of trying to make it the same way peole in the 1400s would have (without power tools) was neat. The actual firing of it was awesome, but I wonder why it didn't catch on fire. The myth proved true because it worked the first 2 or 3 times it was shot off, then I believe it blew up. I don't really remember.
2. Jamie. He's quiet, but funny. He has some smart aleck comment up his sleeve the whole time.
3. I would recommend it because you get to see if those ridiculous stories you hear are true or not. It's actually a neat show, and you can learn stuff from it. Like the cannon. They told about how they made it and stuff in the 1400s.

Oooo! Myth Busters! I love that show!
My fav episode would have to be.....(Agreeing with Katana) "Escape From Alacatraz". ^_^ It was a really good episode. When Jamie and Adam were crawling through the wall, I was sure one of them would get stuck. I also liked the duck myth too on that episode....Don't know why. I just like ducks.
My fav. would have to be Adam. He's really funny. I like him! Jamie's cool too.
And yes! I'd definatly tell my friends about this show! I already have in fact! :D

1. I have two favorites, (sorry I can't remember the names..) THe one when they made a giant cannon log, and the one where they tested if you could be electricuted by peeing on the "third rail"

I liked the canon one cuz, well, that was just cool ^__^ And the third rail one, cuz, it was funny...And even though it was a dummy, they blocked out where the urine substance was coming from...

2. I can't remember who's who..so, the one that got a stud in his toungue ^__^

3. Yes, I would, because it's a cool show, and they do some interesting things...And cuz if you know of a myth, and they bust it, then you know it's not true ^_^

:bow: Way to go Katana, you beat me to it. I was thinking of doing this when I watched the show the other night. :idea:

1) I would have to say I loved the episodes, where they do something with pee; :flush:
[b]Barrel of Bricks:[/b] [spoiler]The have the dumby pee on the electrical rail and the they used the test dumby in the barrel myth was awesome, too[/spoiler]:bash:
[b]Poppy Seed Drug Test:[/b] [spoiler]The have to pee so many times to get their results[/spoiler] :hippy:
And

The guys are so funny when it comes to urine. The ways they go about getting it are just so hilarious.

2) What about the narrator - Robert Lee :lecture: do not for get him. But, as far as whom I like better it is a draw, because their chemistry makes the show so comical and entertaining :fart:

3) No doubt, I would recommend it to others. It is one of the funniest shows on TV. I got my sister into it.:beer:
