Waves splashed up upon the rocky cliff, breaking and falling back into the ocean. The cliff towered above the water, a straight edge facing the ocean, and a downwards slope leading towards the mainland. On the very top of the cliff stood a dark black castle, still as the night yet filled with lingering life. The light at the windows shined a pale yellow, before fading into darkness. The black towers rose into the air, like arrows pointed into the sky, a stone gargoyle topping each one.

Inside the highest tower, a windowless room with no visable means of entering or leaving, stood a large black door, locked with a glowing white chain and a blood red lock. Suddenly the doors pushed against the lock, an open crack flooded with evil auras. A white sphere shot out of it and landed on the floor, exploding.

Nothing. The room was empty again as the doors slowly closed. But suddenly, dark auras swirled around the place of impact, forming into a human shape. A demon emerged from the auras, forked tongue and sharp nails. It gave a hiss, free of it's relm, and dissapeared through the wall...
---------------------------------------------

Twilight crept across the city, giving way to the night life. Raves pumped with flickering lights and a rifle beat. A small quiet bulding stood off the main street, it's broken sign reading one messege: "Nightengale"

The room inside was quiet, save the music playing on an old boom box. The walls were strung with knick-knacks and posters that sprawled along the ground. On the far side was a bar table, the bartender cleaning a glass with an old rag.

The door swung open, and in walked a man in a dark red trench coat, sword on back and gun in hand. He waved at the bartender and started into the back room. "Hey Logan. You got a call for a hit on Ricks Ave. You takin' it?" Logan shook his head. "Not tonight."

Logan pushed open the door, but the bartender stopped him. "Logan, this one's serious. It's a you-know-what." Logan sighed and let the dorr close, heading back out. "Great, just what I needed."

Freaks crawl in every shadow in this city. They kill and rampage, for no real purpose. They're demons, I kill them when I can. The irony of it, is that I'm a demon myself. Where do they come from? Why are they here? Who knows? I don't. I just kill them as they come...

"BLAKE!!! Get your ass down here NOW!" the voice rang out through the building.
Blake v3.0 vanished into the shadows and appeared behind the demon that had called for him.
"Yes, sir?"
"What the hell happened to the demons and vampires you sent into the Earth Realm?"
"It would appear that they're dead, sir. Maybe I should send others?"
"HELL NO! No way are YOU gonna go wastin' my men out there! You get your scrawny ass into the Earth Realm NOW! I don't wanna see you back here unless you bring back the corpse of a demon who was siding with those human bastards!" the Sergeant's veins looked like they were about to explode out the side of his temples.
"Of course, sir. I'll get going as soon as---"
"YOU GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE NOW!!!" the Sergeant cut in.
"Yes, sir. Straight away, sir."
The small cat-demon faded into the shadows and left the Sergeant to brood over the deaths of 5 of his best assassins.
"That'll teach you not to call me worthless. Stupid fat bastard." whispurred Blake.
The door to the Earth Realm was down the road, sitting in full view of everyone. Only a few had access, and Blake would have to go through.
Time for a hunt.

Ariyel swung her sword, Serce, watching the blade arc through the foggy night. She smiled as she felt Serce bite into the demon's flesh...if that's what you could call it.

The demon roared, raising its own sword too late, "How dare you?? You are nothing but a little whelp! You challenge me?"

Ariyel smiled again, Serce stilled in her hand, and shadows swirled, "If I am but a whelp...then why is it that you cannot defend yourself against me?" She deflected his attack as he came, surrounding herself with the familiar shadows. He was a weak demon...a little minion, nothing to waste time with... But she drew it out, enjoying its pathetic weakness, it's futile struggle to stay alive. But no more; she was bored of it.

Her eyes turned bright, and then were a solid gold, "Give me your name." She saw the instant fear in the demon's eyes.

He doubled his efforts, but it was useless, and he saw it, "I do not obey half-breed bastards! You have no power over me!"

The shadows swirled visibly around her now, "Give me your NAME!!" And then she saw it, burning bright in her shadow, "PARDE! Go back, and tell them that Ariyel sent you." She lifted Serce in the final blow, and the demon was gone, screaming back to the Chaotic Realm. She smiled again, but then turned.

There was a figure in a dark red trench coat. And he was not entirely human. Ariyel narrowed her eyes, sheathed Serce, and waited.

Blake leapt to the side, bouncing back off the wall of the alleyway.
"Come on, wench! Show me what you're made of!" he snapped.
The demon-girl was young and naive. She had no idea what she was up against.
"Why are you attacking me!? What have I done that is so wrong?" she cried as Blake stabbed at her with his dagger, the Kraken.
"Listen up, bitch. I've been sent here to bring back the corpse of a demon-traitor. She matches your description, and she's been killing off the Sergeant's men. Apparently, it's my fault for sending them to this desolate place you call Earth. Now why are you here?"
"I'm not tel----"
Blake cut her off by drawing out another dagger, the Leviathan.
He twirled both blades, and asked the she-demon to spill, but she just shook her head.
Bad move.
"Say goodbye, wench!" he yelled as he spun around three times with his arms out, decapitating her with ease.
Just then, Blake sensed one of the demons he'd sent here going back through to the Chaotic Realm.
He'd killed the wrong girl. The one who had wiped out the assassins was still out there, and she'd just sent a warning through to the Sergeant.
He had to kill her before she killed any of the Serg's other men.
Blake slid his daggers into their small sheaths on his belt and vanished into the shadows.

Logan slowly walked forward, his shotgun waving in his hand. "I'm looking for a demon, you seen any around lately?" He asked in a joking tone. Ariyel grinned. "Yeah, just missed 'em." She retorted. Logan held up his shotgun. "You sure? Coulda sworn I was looking right at her." He looked around. "And where's your partner?" He obviously couldn't see the figures clearly through the fog.

"That was the demon, and I'm not your enemy so put down the gun before you poke somebodies eye out." Logan grinned. "How do I know you're not lying?" Ariyel sighed. "If I were an enemy, wouldn't I have my weapon out?"
"Good point." Logan said, lowering his gun. "So you took out the demon, eh?" He measured her up. "Must've been pretty small."

"Watch it, pal. I can hold my own." She said seriously. "Whatever. Who are you anyways?"

Blake appeared in another alleyway, but was hidden from sight behind a few trash cans.
He could hear voices, so decided to listen in.
"...wouldn't I have my weapon out?" said one figure, it sounded like a girl.
"Good point." the other answered, this was undoubtedly a guy.
Blake risked a quick glance over the top of the trash cans, and saw the guy lowering what looked like a gun.
"So you took out the demon, eh?" the guy said. There was a pause. "Must've been pretty small."
"Watch it, pal. I can hold my own." she sounded serious. "Whatever. Who are you anyways?"
Hmm...it sounds like I've got myself the mysterious she-demon crossbreed I've been looking for. And this other one...who is he? Blake thought.
"The name's Logan." the guy said.
Well, Mr Logan. And what's her name?
"Ariyel." she said as she reached across and shook Logan's hand.
So, Miss Ariyel and Mr Logan. No doubt these two'll be trouble, especially if they find out it's me who sent the assassins... Blake moved slightly, unsettled at the thought that the two might possibly find him out, and what they'd do to him.
The slight movement was enough to bump a dog, which leapt up out of it's makeshift bedding and began barking at the intruder.
Logan and Ariyel spun to face the sound, and saw Blake give them the finger before vanishing into the shadows again.
"Traitors..." was left hanging in the air before the tiny shadow portal closed.

OOC: Sorry I'm late!

Ryan leaned back in the chair, the stench of demon's wafted through the air. The bar was barely lit, he was sure the demon, smelled him here to, it was unavoidable. One a servent of Heaven, the other a lapdog of hell, they were drawn to another like magnets. Blessing him self, and uttering a prayer to god, he stood, staring straight at the lone figure at the corner table. The person's eyes started to glow red. Deftly, Ryan drew his shotgun and fired a slug into the beasts heart, blood splattered acrossed the table, other patrons started to run and scream.
The demon let loose a hellish howl as he took on his true form. Holstering his gun, Ryan took hold of his Cross in his left hand, and drew his blessed sword with his right. The demon growled in it's gutteral language.
"You picked the wrong demon to Fuck with, little man." The demon lashed out with it's clawed hand, Ryan jumped back, slashing the foul thing. The demon drew it's hand back, the wound sizzling. "A blessed weapon?"
"That's right. Now return to the pit from whence ye came?" Ryan rushed the pained demon, slashing into it's arms and chest, finally slamming his cross over the things heart.
"Thou hast no power here! I COMMAND THEE, BY THE POWER VESTED IN ME BY GOD IN HEAVEN, RETURN TO THE PIT!" a white light shone under the cross the demon flailed and screamed in agony as his body and soul were ripped from earth and cast back into hell. Ryan drew back his sword, and plunged it into the demons throat, silencing it. It's arms thrashed weakly, till finally they thrashed no more. Panting, and sweaty Ryan stepped back from the spot the demon had stood, only ashes remained now. Grabbing his hat, he sheathed his sword and drew his bible, uttering a prayer to keep the demon's from reappering here for a time. He left the now empty bar, and stepped into an alley before the sirens even came within earshot.

Ariyel watched the place that Blake had vanished into, feeling with her shadows for any leftover trace...and she felt it. The slightest hint of a name, but then it disappeared. She let the shadow dissapate into her body, and then turned back to Logan. "You're a traitor?"

He looked at her, "Well, I'm not really...sure...I guess you could say that. What about you?" She didn't answer, and started to walk back up the alley towards the street. Life had seemed to return to the area, and people could be heard laughing and drinking too much. A couple would probably be dead or seriously injured by the time morning came.

Suddenly Ariyel felt the dark soul of another demon pass back into the Chaotic Realm. It was close...too close. And who had defeated it? It hadn't been all that powerful, but the name had imparted that it wasn't the typical minion either. She stopped and looked around, reading the emotions of the few people that were around her, trying to get a sense for this new arrival. What was this strange scent on the air?

"Do you smell something?" she asked Logan, who had stopped beside her.

He sniffed the air, and then cocked his head, "Yes, something...kind of wild, tangy. It stings a little."

She was just about to agree when she spotted the person through her shadows, "Shit, blessed weapons. What the hell is something like him doing here?" She turned and walked the opposite way, keeping her shadows silent and invisible. A monk probably wouldn't understand what a demon daughter was doing on Earth.

Since Blake hadn't had real human blood in about 10 years, he was beginning to grow weaker by the hour. Meaning he couldn't fade (teleport, vanish) as far away as he needed to.
He sensed the blessed weapons, but only slightly, so all he felt was a small itch at the back of his brain, not quite knowing what it was.
He dismissed the itch quickly, not brooding on it, instead focusing on the nearest humans, and how much blood he would need to sustain himself for a few years. Probably only 7 litres or so.
He groaned a little, "Ugghh....so, so thirsty...." he managed to say into the night air, as if calling to his prey.
Unfortunately for him, his call was heard by more than just his prey, but the one with blessed weapons too. Blake didn't notice though.
Time for dinner... he thought, and leapt, cat-like, off the walls of the alleyway he was in, bounding from side to side, until he was atop one of the apartment buildings.
Below him, a few teens were taking a quick smoke after a family dinner out, just while their parents were having coffee and chatting.
The teens were whispering something, but it didn't matter. Blake would get a drink and a smoke from this lot.
"...yeah, did you hear about whathisface? Y'know, how he got expelled for tripping a teacher?" said one of the girls.
"Oh yeah! Him! Wow, I wish I'd thought of that." one guy replied.
Idiots...I guess I'll take them. They're to talkative. I'm getting a migraine. Blake thought, extending his claws to full length then retracting them, warming them up for the kill.
One of the girls fluttered her eyes, "I want him sooo bad. He's so hot!"
"Hotter than me?" a guy flexed his biceps.
"Yes, and he's modest too." she retorted.
There was a collective intake of breath. That's when Blake chose to strike.
He faded behind the first guy, snapping his neck. Then, before the rest of the group saw him, he faded behind the first girl, slicing into her jugular with deadly efficiency.
By now, the group of teens had seen the guy with the twisted neck lying dead on the ground, they ran screaming.
Excellent. Meal time then.... thought Blake as he bit deep into the dead girl's neck, drinking quickly. It wouldn't be long before one of the kids called the police, who would bring in the FBI. Then they'd find demon blood samples and there would be chaos. Chaos for the demons, that is.
Once he had finished with the girl, he jabbed a small capsule into her neck, which would send a virus which would cover for the bitemarks on her neck. All would assume it was a spider bite or something similar.
As he dug into the guy, he began to feel a presence. A holy one.
Little did he know, the being with the blessed weapon had picked up his scent, and also the scents of the two, Logan and Ariyel.
Now that his power was flowing back through him at full strength, Blake could tell that the presence had come his way, then gone back to find the others.
What's going on? thought Blake as he finished his meal.

OOC: Not too confusing? I think I lost myself somewhere after "human blood" (first line)...

Iscariot walked toward the feeding vampire, but he sensed something else. He stopped to face Iscariot, blood still on his fangs.
"You're a sloppy butcher vampire. The humans will be all over us if you plan to just leave their bodies and let the others run," Iscariot said to him, "Besides, you're letting the young man's blood go to waste."

He picked up the man's dead body and sank his teeth into him. In seconds the blood was drained from the body and the skin became pale. Iscariot then threw the body away from him. The vampire just stared at him.
"Who the hell are you? Why didn't I sense you?" Blake asked Isacriot.

He simply laughed. "I've beome adapted to the humans. I cannot be sensed so easily."
"But that's impossible!" Blake yelled, "No fledging vampire could do that. Why are you even here?"

"I've been sensing alot of commotion here," Iscariot explained, "I just came to see the ruckus. Can you not sense it? Two others here, as well as one with blessed weapons, but I'm pretty sure it won't matter to you. Farewell."

Iscariot walked away, leaving behind a confused Blake has he walked closer to the distortment.

Ryan looked around, his brow furrowing with concern. He continued walking down the dark alley, garbage littering the ground. His ears picked up cries of terror, and growing demonic power flooded his senses.
"Lord, give me strength, for there are more than one foul beasts of hell lurking in the dark!" he sprinted, trying his best to find the people in the seemingly endless maze of buildings. He almost collided head on with a young girl. He grabbed hold of her, she screamed and fought to get free.
"My child! My child! Calm yourself, I mean you no harm!" she continued screaming and struggling.
"I'm a priest! Calm yourself my child I'm a priest!" Her screams died, her struggling stopped as Ryan pulled out his cross. She cried into his shoulder as he gently brushed the back of her hair. Gently pushing her back, he looked at her comfortingly.
"Now my child, tell me, what could trouble you so?" The girl's eyes welled up with tears again as she recounted what had happened. Ryan turned slightly pale with rage. Demon's thought they could come to this world and slaughter the innocent at will? Not if he and God had anything to say about it.
"My child, I want you to keep going that way, you'll come out to a bar, some policemen are there, they'll help." the girl nodded, still shaking from the horrific events that plauged her mind. She stood and ran down the alley, Ryan went the direction she had come. "Go with God My child."

Ryan came upon the foul creature, looking slightly confused, the demon reeked of evil and blood. Two had been here, but the other vanished, using his fould black magics. The one that stayed behind began to destroy the bodies, Then he looke dright at the spot where Ryan sat watching. Knowing the demon had become aware of his presence, he drew his sword and cross and stood.
"First you slaughter the innocent, to sat your vile appetite, now you defile their bodies to hide your dark deeds! Your kind do not belong here."
Smirking the demon crouched low, like a lion thinking it was about to pounce on a mouse.
"Run back to your church, choir boy God cannot save you here."
Both warriors lunged at each other, Ryan swung thinking to inflict the divine wrath upon the foul beast. Two long curved, wicked Daggers flashed out of his shirt sleeves, parrying the ferocious blow. The second dagger came round, gleaming eagerly to sink into living flesh, to be bathed in blood. A silver cross caught the dagger. Both combatants leapt away, each knowing this fight would be tougher than they had first expected.

Cyriel heard the screams, and turned to see Blake finish off the two humans. What a dilemma...kill the assasin while he's feeding, or run into the priest with the blessed weapons? She turned and watched, waiting to see what would happen.

Then, another demon force, this time strong and very evident... Why didn't Blake sense it? She saw the name even before she saw him...Iscariot... A familiar name; he had been one of her most fierce rivals in the Chaotic Realm, always trying to trap her in one of his sly tricks. Her lip curled as she remembered the fights against him. Ariyel's eyes finally picked Iscariot out of the shadows, and watched as he sucked the blood out of the other human. Blake had been totally surprised...so Iscariot must have been shielding himself.

What a fool, she thought. Why would he shield himself to only one demon? Only an inexperienced demon would forget that she was on Earth.

Logan watched as Ariyel's breath caught, and then too also smelled the strong tang of holy wards. The priest had arrived. Both Logan and Ariyel watched as silent bystanders as Blake and Ryan drew their weapons and attacked.

Ryan's eyes grew wide with surprise. There were two more demonic presences! 'Christ almighty! Four demons all in the same area!' Ryan parried another slash at his throat.
"Can't you demon bastards fight without having to gang up on a mortal?"
His arm and blade slashed, making a cross, the creature jumped back growling with fury, looking back at the two others for a split second, then back at Ryan, his glare becoming all the more fierce, Like a cornered animal. Ryan grinned slightly.
"They aren't with you, are they?" The two standing back stood there, watching the fight intently, both had a demonic feel to them, but something was slightly off. Both combatants rushed each other again, blades slashing and parrying expertly, each seeking the other's life. The demon slashed both daggers, Ryan sidestepped and his blade found home into the demons arm! Howling with pain as the blades blessing burned into his very being, he swung his arm savegly, burying the dagger into Ryan's shoulder. Blood fell from both like a water fall as they drew away from each other. Clutching his wounded arm, the demon fell back into the shadow's, eyeing Ryan evily, the words "Fuck you" escaped his lips before he vanished into them completely.

Panting with the pain of the dagger wound, Ryan turned to face the other two.
"So, what shall it be?" He raised his Sword "Face the wrath of heaven," He raised his left hand the cross hanging from it by it's cord. "or prove yourself repentant for any of your past sins, and embrace me as an ally?" He lowered both his arms, he felt tired from the wound. He couldn't fight them both, much less one, and he didn't have any holy water.
"The choice is yours..."

As Blake stumbled into the darkness, he wondered why that demon had shielded itself from him.
Blake now knew it's name, Iscariot, but that didn't clear matters up.
Blake appeared in a dark room of the city hospital. He could smell blood everywhere. He licked his lips.
It turned out that he had faded himself into the area of the hospital where they kept the donated blood that was about to be used.
Excellent. That fuckwit cut my arm with that holy shit, but it'll be healed faster than I expected. More blood, faster healing. He should have known I'd just find more blood, thought Blake, If I were him, I'd have squirted me with that holy water he had. Oh well, alls well that ends well.
He turned around and opened a fridge with his left arm. The bastard priest had cut his good arm, and it would be a while before it healed, even with the extra blood and all. He'd have to cloak himself from the others, so as they didn't get him when he was weak.
He reached in and grabbed a packet of blood. He ripped a hole in it with his fangs and drank deeply.

Ariyel smiled at the priest's words, and replied, "We have a choice? You're not really in a position to state an ultimatum."

Ryan kept his calm, ignoring the slight malice in her words, "If you wish to challenge the power of God, then do so now."
Ariyel looked at him, and he held her gaze, until her eyes flashed gold. Ryan gasped as the demon power almost overwhelmed him; why was it so strong? What was this? Shadows impeded his view, but he could still see her eyes glowing a liquid gold. It was so strong...was she a demon lord? No, she couldn't be...but then what was she?

Then Ariyel stopped, and her eyes returned to a dark black, the flecks of gold growing small. She walked to the panting priest, "I am not remorseful of any past sins, nor do I repent. But I will accept you as an ally. Are you strong enough to hold pact with me?"

"How strange," Iscariot said aloud, giving away his presence to Ariyel, Ryan and Logan, "A servant of God making an alliance with his very enemy? Very strange indeed."

"So you're the one that vanished," Ryan said, preparing to attack, his sword and cross out. Iscariot just laughed.
"Do you really think that a peice a metal will weaken me? Like I said to that other one, I've become adapted to the humans. Some of my former weaknesses are gone."

"You are Iscariot? Are you not?" Ariyel asked.
"Do you know me?"
"I know you plenty enough to see through your tricks," She answered.

Iscariot stared intently into her eyes, trying to remember. Suddenly, memories flashed before his eyes, the constant battles with her.
"Ariyel," he simply muttered.
"You are correct. But how is it that you have no real memory? I guess it was a mistake to try to force demons into the Earth Realm."
"What are you talking about?"
"I guess I was right, you lost your memories. If you want to know more about yourself, join me. I'll help you go back to the Chaotic Realm."

Iscariot turned his back against them. "I have no intention of joining with you demons."
"Then your are fighting agianst them, siding with the humans?" Logan asked.
"I don't plan on siding with such pathetic creatures, either."

Iscariot began to walk away. "I have a feeling that we will meet again, especially you, Ariyel."
In seconds, his presence could no longer be sensed...

Logan watched him leave, and then turned to Ariyel. "What the hell's the Chaotic Realm?" She looked at him blankly. "You seriously don't know? You're a demon, you should be an expert on it!" Logan gave a cokcy grin. "Half demon, babe. And I don't give a shit if I'm supposed to know about it."

"Okay, look. The Chaotic Realm is the place where demons exist..." She told him the story, Ryan adding in with what he knew from church. "...and then the war ended with some kind of mystical weapon, on the exact time of the war's one hundred thousand year mark."

"Sounds like one hell of a war."

"You have to keep in mind that the human race was double, maybe even triple what it is now. It would have been longer, had not the weapon appeared."

"Hold on. What weapon are we talking about?" There was a pause, from both of them. "Nobody really knows." Ariyel answered. "I heard, it was a wave of the lord's holy water that washed over the earth and destroyed the demons."

"And that theory is ruled out. Demons wouldn't still be hanging around if they all drowned."

"True..." Ryan was eying the shotgun in Logan's hand nervously. "What's with you?"

"We...have not made truce yet. I do not know whether I should count you as an ally yet." Logan laughed. "Yeah, sure. But if you start with that repention stuff I'll shove that cross down your throat." Ryan paused for a moment, and never got the chance to answer. "Ariyel, if the demon's were all sealed up in their little realm, why are there so damn many of them here?" She sighed.

"The seal was broken, somehow. Not completely, just a crack, but a big enough crack for them to get out. It gets worse over time, and if it breaks completely, humans will be overrun." Logan shrugged. "Humans kicked their ass once, they can do it again."

"Logan, you don't understand. Humans are still recovering from the war, they're at about a third of their origional size."

"So?"

"The Chaotic Realm...they're, they recovered completely. If the seal is broken, humans will be slaughtered."

"Well, shit," Logan said, summing up about basically everything. "What are we going to do then?"

Ariyel looked blankly at him, "Do? What do you mean?"

Ryan interrupted, "What are we going to do to stop this invasion?"

"You mean other than pray and throw holy water?" Ariyel retorted. "Well, what is there to do? What are you getting at?"

"Don't you want to protect Earth? What about all the people that will be murdered and butchered?" Ryan asked, his compassion showing through.

Ariyel surveyed him coldly, "If you're going to be my ally, you have to be strong enough to accept the truth. There is nothing that we can do. Protecting humans and this world is not on my agenda."

-- "Pyrl v1.0 and v1.5 are ready, sir. Shall I direct give them their targets in the Earth Realm?" asked one of the demon scientists.
"Yes. We need to clear a path for Blake v3.0. Where are the strongest grouped signals coming from?"
Demons usually worked alone, so where there were more than two demons in one spot, they gave strong signals on the radar at the tech labs.
"One moment, sir, I'll have to check."
There was static as the scientist punched in an access code and logged on to the NET (Neutral Energy Tracker).
About 9 areas popped up on screen.
"The gathering that is closest to the portal entrance is about where Blake was a few mintues ago, sir. There are two weak demon signals, one priest, and there seems to be a blank spot here," he said, pointing to a spot not far away from where Ariyel, Logan and Ryan were. "The blank point is where a demon is cloaking him/herself. Wait one moment please..."
The scientist jabbed at the keyboard, and the screen focused on the hospital.
"Blake is at the nearby hospital, sir. Should I still send the Pyrls, or should we leave this group to him?"
"You said there was a priest, right?" the Serg asked, the scientist nodded, "I don't want to take chances. Send in the Pyrls." --

Blake finished up in the blood room, and sat down for a minute.
What a feast... he thought.
He waited for a few minutes, then stood up and made to vanish, but stopped.
There was a disturbance somewhere. Someone had just come into the Earth Realm from the Chaotic Realm.
Hold on a sec...I know those presences...that shit-brained human-blooded faggot! He's sent in the Pyrls to do my job!
Blake was enraged that the Serg would send someone to do his work for him.
He faded and entered the alleyway where the traitors and the priest were.
I'll save you lot from those prototype bitches, then I'll get you myself. Will you trust me or see through my plans? he thought as he walked down the alley.
"Well, hello again." he said, as friendly as he could manage (not very friendly). "Have I got news for you. So shut the fuck up and don't interrupt."
He told them about the Pyrl prototypes and how they were on their way. The group's only response was a strange look, then they all drew their weapons.
"Fuckwits. Don't you know help when it's served to you on a silver platter?" he said, and leapt onto the top of one of the appartment buildings to the side of the alley, sprouting his wings for an extra advantage in the upcoming fight.

OOC: Just for when the Pyrls arrive, immagine two black Harpies (bird people). One (v1.0) hurls fireballs, the other (v1.5) throws lightning bolts.

Iscariot suddenly stopped in his tracks as he felt another distortment. He could sense another demon's presense. No. Not one, but two.

"Strange. How could they just appear all of a sudden?" Iscariot asked aloud. He faced the direction back to the allyway, but stopped to consider his options. Iscariot just let out a sigh as he suddenly jumped high on top of a building. He then ran across it, jumping from building to building, until he landed behind Blake.

"We meet again," Iscariot said with a grin, "Surely you can't be the disturbance I felt."
"Of course not, you crass bastard," Blake answer, "What you felt was two demons entering this realm, and they'll soon be on their way here."

Suddenly, a fireball came rushing toward them, and completely destroyed a fragment of the roof. But both of them were quick enough to evade damage. Blake had already taken flight and Iscariot swiftly landed in the allyway, surprising Ariyel, Ryan and Logan once again.

"You again. Why the fuck are you here?" Ryan asked.
"Relax. I'm here to help you stop these demons."
As Iscariot took up his sword they turned to see a harpy-like creature, sparks of electricity sparkled around it.
"Well speak of the devil..."

Lowering his weapons, Ryan tipped his hat to her as he stepped forward, extending his right hand.
"Strong enough...Yes, I'll hold to the pact we make." The demon girl reached out her hand, grasping his firmly.
"But the fact you remain unrepentant for your sins troubles me, forgiveness is still never beyond one, even the forsaken that burn in the pit. Mybe later you'll seek forgiveness." Smilling slightly, he released his grip on her hand, both their hands dropped. Both turned in unision to face Logan. Ryan's grin widened even more.
"Doust though walk the path of the righteous, despite your bloodline, or will you aid those that do?"

Logan stood silent for a moment then gave his answer...

"Right. Let me put it this way: I won't kill you, but if you try that holiness crap on me again I'll shove a bible down your throat." Ryan started to protest, but Logan wouldn't hear it. "God may condem thy soul if not willing-"

"Just shut up for a second!" Blake appeared and told him about the Pyrls, as Iscariot came. "Well speak of the devil..." Logan looked oddly at him, oblivious to the creatures. "What the hell are-" A fireball came rushing past his head, and he turned with a jolt to find one of the Pyrls. Iscariot ran towards a building and jumped along the side to the top of the roof. Logan raised his shotgun and started firing off shells.

They went barely noticed by the Pyrls, as they tried to bombard Blake as he started to take off. Logan started running for the one, when a circle of electricity danced around him. He turned to see the other Pyrl staring at him. Logan raised his sword, and parried the bolts of lightning that were thrown at him, the blade miraculously not breaking.

When the Pyrl ceased firing bolts, it started dive bombing Logan, clawing at him whenever it was near. Logan took off and jumped onto a roof on the other side of the street that Blake was on, and tried to deflect the Pyrl's attacks from there. Blake suddenly took off, Logan raising his shotgun thinking that it was another Pyrl. He lowered the piece when he realized who it was, and survayed the chaos around him.

Blake saw Logan raise the gun to fire at him. Blake was about to dive out of Logan's range, but Logan lowered his gun and surveyed the chaos around them.
"I told you to be prepared, didn't I?" taunted Blake.
"Shut up or I'll ram your wings down your throat." snapped Logan.
"Oooh, someone's angry. In the mood for shoving things down people's throats aren't we?"
"I said shut up!"
Just then a fireball whizzed between the glowering two, making them both jump back in alarm.
Blake dived into combat mode, flicking out the Leviathan and the Kraken. He was so swift and agile that you'd have a hard time trying to keep track of him.
He dodged all of the fireballs the Pyrl through at him, so she decided to take a different approach. Blake was ready for it.
The Pyrl drew her sword and took a swipe at Blake, and he caught the blade in his daggers that were crossed in an X shape above his head. It was a deadlock.
"You lot had better take care of the other Pyrl until this deadlock is over! The one that fires electricity is an upgraded prototype version of this one! Get her while I'm holding this one back!" Blake screamed at the others.
They all leapt into action, but unfortunately, the other Pyrl did too.

The other Pyrl seemed to glow and brighten, almost blinding the group. Suddenly it was moving, throwing its beams and bolts in a blinding tornado of electricity.

Ariyel's eyes were golden, and she smiled contemptuously at Blake, "What, can you not handle a prototype?" Blake was about to snarl in return, but she took off, her shadows dancing around her.

"God she's fast," Logan said, running to catch up. Blake silently agreed, wondering how a half-breed could act like a demon lord. Ryan followed, muttering something about using the Lord's name in vain.

Ariyel attacked with a roar, drawing Serce across her body in one swift motion. The Pyrl turned to meet her, throwing bolts as it readied itself for her attack. She dodged, and then twisted, shoving her sword beneath the Pyrl's defenses.

It shrieked and flew out of range, throwing evil glares at Ariyel, "You little half-breed. Your death will be slow for this!" It attacked, flying through the air and releasing its deadly bolts. Ariyel pushed off the wall, jumping to meet it with her sword raised. In return, the Pyrl summoned its own sword of twisted lightning. The two clashed, and the force made a little shockwave.

Logan steadied himself, grabbing onto a tree for balance. He watched as the two fought, amazed at Ariyel's skill. She was so young - where did she get her power? He motioned to Ryan, readying his sword, "Come on priest! What's taking you so long? The strength of God hasn't left you, has it?" He took off again, about to jump into the fray.

Logan ran and postitioned himself under the electric Pyrl. He tried to get a bead on it, but couldn't. A grin spread across his face. "Let's rock." He jumped up the side of a building and kicked off, leaping towards the flying Pyrl. It looked at him for a second, as he raised his shotgun to it's face. He pulled the trigger, and both he and it fell to the ground. Logan rolled and stood up, the Pyrl fell and lifelessly twitched.

Logan grinned at the others. Ryan looked relived, before a look of shock filled his face. Logan turned back around, to see the Pyrl standing, staring right at him. "What the hell are these things?" He took his sword off his back as the Pyrl flapped its wings enoguh to fly just a bit. it attacked Logan with it's sword of lightning, as Logan parried the shots with his sword.

Ryan held his cross firm and pushed it against the Pyrl's back as it let out a screech of pain. Logan took the chance and clung onto the winged fiend, his sword unreachable on his back and his shotgun falling to the pavement. The pyrl took off, and Logan held on. It flailed around madly, trying to shake off it's hitch-hiker, but Logan refused to yield. "That was dumb." He said to himself.
