"Nice work there! Just keep holding on to it for a while! I'll finish up here and be right over!" called Blake sarcastically. "C'mon! Take it out already! Stab it somewhere along it's spine! Then it can't use it's wings!"
Idiots! How old are they? Didn't they go to a schooling academy of some sort? Everyone should know that once the spinal cord is permanently damaged, the thing's as good as dead. he thought to himself.
The Pyrl he was still in the deadlock with screached and conjured a fireball.
Blake slipped under its legs, breaking free of the lock and sending the Pyrl's sword into the ground. The Pyrl tried furiously to wrench the sword out, but it was stuck.
It whirled on him and homed in, conjuring another fireball and adding it to the first one, doubling its size.
Blake flipped up into the air, stretching out his wings to their full span of 2 1/2 meters.
He dive bombed the Pyrl (the one with the fireball) and stabbed it in the back, twice, then a third time with his daggers.
It fell to the ground, slumped in a small heap.
"See? I told you that was all you needed to do!"
The Pyrl's corpse somehow caught alight, sending huge black flames into the air.
"What the fuck?"
The flames took the form of the dead Pyrl and stretched out a clawed hand, grabbing Blake around the throat.
"Little....runt................you...die...NOW!" it managed to speak out of nothingness.
"Shit!!!" Blake managed to choke out.

OOC: sorry for the mess up earlier, I hadn't ben paying attention when I was posting *blushes* anywho...

IC: Ryan sprinted over towards the demons. The Pyrl had it's flamming hand round his throat. He drew his sword and his flask, he pulled the stopper with his teeth. In seconds he was on top of them, driving his sword into it's back. In shock, it let go of Blakes throat, who fell back grasping at his burned neck. Ryan panted, the wound hurt him terribly, Slowly he poured the contents onto the pyrl, up and down it's body.
It squealed in agony as the Holy water burned through her like Acid on paper. Finally, it moved no more, burning down to black ash. Ryan pulled his sword from the ground, looking all around for the other pyrl...

"It's gone," Ariyel said to Ryan when she noticed his searching gaze. She turned to Blake, who was still holding his throat. "Aren't you Blake v. 3.0? You should be able to handle Pyrls, especially prototypes." He didn't answer, choosing to ignore her for the moment. She sheathed her sword, the gold receding from her eyes.

Then she turned to Logan, "I drew first blood, but you took the kill. I applaud you." She bowed gracefully, and then stood. "Next time, though, I won't make the same mistake."

Logan smiled, "A challenge? My pleasure. It'll be very enjoyable, I'm sure."

Ryan shook his head as he rolled his eyes, "This is despicable. You're counting your kills?"

Ariyel turned her cool gaze towards him, "We're not counting kills. It's just a comparison of skill. Would you like to join, or do your commandments bar you from that?" She smiled coldly, and Logan almost laughed. How did she put such flair into her words? He supposed it was from being raised by a demon lord. What an odd girl.

Logan shook off his bewilderment, and turned to Blake. "So, these things were from that Choatic thing, right?" Blake nodded, his voice wheezing from his neck's wound. "Yeah."

"How'd they get out?"

"A portal on-" He coughed, as his throat lost all sound. Ariyel laughed. "Earth and the Chaotic Realm are connected by a doorway, right on-" Her throat seized up as well. "Powerful magic is at work here." Ryan said, looking around and clutching his wound. "There must have been a spell placed to keep the location of the doorway hidden." Ariyel said, her throat becoming better almost magically. "It shouldn't be too hard to overpower it." Logan sighed.

"Whatever. Chaotic Realm, Demon, I just want them out of my hair." He turned to Blake. "Speaking of witch, who the hell are you?"

"I am Blake v3.0. I am one of the most skilled assassins in the Chaotic Realm." Blake replied to Logan's question. Ariyel snorted.
"What's that, Miss Piggy? Oh, yes, and in reply to your earlier question, the Blakes were created over 52 years ago. The Pyrl prototypes have just finished their tests and training recently."
"Oh, of course, how stupid of me. Who doesn't know that?" Ariyel retorted sarcastically.
"Look, girlie, I trained the Pyrls for a while, so they know my moves. I don't know all of theirs, because a certain Demon Lord trained them after I had taken them on for three years."
"What was the Lord's name?" asked Ariyel, looking up all of a sudden.
"Who do you think Miss Ariyel, daughter of Gavriel?" he teased.
Ariyel was pissed now.
"YOU TAKE THAT BACK YOU FUCKED UP RUNT!" she shrieked, then quitened, turning her back on the group and adding sting to her words. "I have am no daughter of his..."
"Oh, but I think you are. I know more about you than you do," he lied, "You should come home Ariyel, your daddy misses you."
Blake cackled and faded from sight.
Ariyel screamed to the night sky.

OOC: Sorry for the short post guys (is it short?) I don't have much time on my hands right now.

Ryan shook his head, these demons would be hard to convince to repent. He sighed aloud
"At least you fight to protect the mortal world for now..." Logan turned to him, his eyes alight with mockery.
"Listen choir boy, I'm not fighting to protect the human world, I'm fighting to get these demonic fucks away from me."
Ryan sighed again. Ariyel was sitting on the ground, her aura burned blood red with hatred and rage. Ryan stepped over to what remained of the pyrls corpses, and began performing the last rights for their departed souls. The three demons behind him winced the holy words spoken from the bible was like nails ona chalkboard painful for them. Ryan finished the sermon closing his bible. He turned to Ariyel, grinning slightly.
"I do keep count by the way, 67 demons to my count. And 12 Human souls that worshipped them." His eyes turned sad at that. Iscariot chuckled quietly to himself.

"Iscariot." Ariyel's voice was stone cold.

He turned to her, "Yes? Would you like to speak to me?"

Her eyes were dark, but the glint of gold showed her demon heritage, "What has the Lord Gavriel been involved in of late. You came so recently out of the Chaotic Realm that you should know something, right?"

Iscariot smiled cruelly, "Oh, the daughter of Gavriel would like to know her father's intentions?"

Instantly Ariyel pulled her sword up against his throat. "Do not ... relate me with him...ever," she hissed, pressing hard enough that it went through his skin.

He merely sneered, and then pushed the blade away with his hand, "Anger does not become you, Ariyel. Or, actually, the loss of control over your emotions doesn't suit you. I thought you had better training than that."

"My training and actions don't concern you. Answer my question."

Iscariot smiled again, and then shrugged, "As you wish. The Lord Gavriel at the moment is one of the Overlord's more favored and powerful commanders. Or, he was. Until you left and started...shall we say...diminishing our numbers.. Thus, Lord Gavriel took into training the Pyrl prototypes. He's such an odd lord though...never boasting his power or position...and actually, he almost acts like a human. Most other demons don't understand him.
However, recently his whereabouts have been unknown. He's constantly traveling to other realms...and there are clues that he's brought another human in."

Ariyel stiffened, "...another...human?" She bit her lip until the blood ran, not aware of the pain. "Are you sure this is not just another mage? The Chaotic Realm does have a human court, for the human mages that serve the Overlord."

Iscariot shrugged, "I do not know. No one is aware of who it is, although many are trying to reveal the identity of the human. It could be a mage, for all we know."

Ariyel still stared, the line of blood not stopping. It dripped onto her hand, and she looked down at the dark red spot on her pale skin. 'Damn you, Gavriel,' she thought. 'Damn you to deepest Hell.'
