T man Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 Kieth and luke were riding in a cargo plane to the airport. Luke was working on his deck while talking to kaiba and mokuba. He was going over his instuctions. "Have you checked all the systems on the disks kieth" mokuba asked. "Yes mokuba. I've checked them before I got on the plane and a couple of minutes ago" kieth said as he put on his duel disk. "Remember to only give the duel disks to worthy duelist" kaiba said. "Yes Mr. kaiba. I'll check with the duelist befor I give them the disks" kieth said. "Be carefull with them. They're still prototypes" mokuba said. "I know. I'll contact you once i've given them out and a duel's started with them" kieth said. Kaiba nodded and they turned of the screen. He walked to where luke was working. He tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and finished up his work. "Are you finished with your work" luke asked. "Ya I got my instuctions and here's your duel disk" kieth said giving luke the disk. Luke put his cards in the deck and they started for the cargo door. As they walked through the plane they grabbed there bags and slung them on there backs. "Open the door and bring the plane as close as you can to the sand" luke said as he stopped at the cockpit. "Why do you want us to do that" the pilot asked. "Just do it" luke said as he continued on his way. He found kieth getting on his motor byke. Luke got on his own and put on his helmet. Kieth pulled down his goggles and put on his gloves. "I'll race ya" kieth said smilling. "You're on. Just make sure you don't get stuck in the sand" luke said as the door opened. "With these bykes neither of us will so it'll be left to skill and luck" kieth said as they came down. Kieth and luke left out of the door and started there engines. The bykes landed on the sand and they started going faster as the plane left. Kieth gave it some gas and went on ahead of luke. "Come on luke. Let's see what ya got" kieth said smilling. Luke didn't say any thing and sped up. He came up untill he was next to kieth. They looked at each other and smilled. Flo Posted January 20, 2004 Share Posted January 20, 2004 Tara saw dust rising in the distance she looked up from therock see was dusting off.Some of the diggers looked up but went back to their work.Soon she saw two motor bikes with their riders coming toward the site. "Ms.Hicku your father needs to see you he wants to go into town for a few things". "Uh",Tara said taking her eyes away from the two boys coming nearer,"ok I'll go see him".Tara walked towards her fathers tralior.A few minutes later she walked out and saw the bikes parked and two boys standing near them.Tara walked over. "Hi can I help you"?Tara asked. "Sure do you know where the site director is"?Kieth asked. "Over at that tralior but I wouldn't go in there now". "Why"?Luke asked. "He's charting right now".Tara aid as she walked out to the vast desert. "What.... where are you going"?Luke asked. I came up infront of you when we reached the the first tent" luke said. "Realy. From what I know the site starts at that dune over there and I beat you to it" kieth said as he knocked on the door on the trailer. A couple of minutes later. A man came to the door. He seemed like he was frustrated over some thing. "Are you some of the people that were called in" the director asked. "Ya. So do you know why we were called in" kieth asked. There were acouple of other people doing some work on a map. The people looked up then went back to work. "So why was it that we were called in" luke asked. "I realy don't know. I had nothing to do with calling people in" the director said. "So you had no say in the letters" luke asked. "The letters were sent out on the day the dig was restarted. No one knows who sent the letters yet but all we know is that they restarted the dig" the director said walking over to the map. "So what are you doing in here" kieth asked walking around the map. "We've done some scans and pieced together the information that was gathered ten years ago but it doesn't all fit together" the director said. "Let kieth take a look at it. He's good at piecing things together wiether they're normale or strange" luke said as he headed to the door. Once he was outside he started looking around the site. "Hi again what you doing"?Tara asked. "Were helping the director".Luke said.Tara raised an eyebrow,"Your helping daddy how by just standing around"? "No",Tara started to walk toward the director's trailer to drop off the bag,"wait did you say daddy"?Keith asked looking shocked. Tara turned,"Ya,the director is my dad".She walked into the trailer and in a few minutes she came out bag less.She then walked towards a group of small trailers. "Hello I'm taking you guys to your trailer"! Tara shouted.Both boys quickly followed her to one of the small trailers.She quickly turned and the guys looked starled. "Well here you go make yourself comfy".Tara said and turned walking towards a trailer exackly like the director's trailer only a tad wider.While Luke went in their trailer Keith watched Tara pull a key out of her pocket and unlock the door and went in he heard a click and knew she had looked the door.Keith thought about going over to her trailer and talk with her. "It's kieth" kieth said leaning against the out side of the trailer. "What do you want" tara asked. "Are you a duelist" kieth asked. "Ya. Why do you ask" tara asked. "My boss told me to give you some thing if you're a good duelist" kieth said. "And who's your boss" tara asked. "Seto kaiba. I'm testing some new duel disks out and he wants me to give them to worthy duelist and have them test them out for him" kieth said. "Just open the door so I can give you this".He heard a rustle and a click the door opened.Tara waved him inside Keith looked around and saw alot of books and magiznes around the room.The room had three doors leading to different parts of the trailer most of the main room was black and purble with a little dark blue.He handed the disk to Tara and she toke it.Tara shut the door and looked it. "Why do you keep locking the door"? "Some of the workers here are looking for a little pleasure and besides I don't trust them." "Oh your place is a whole lot nicer than what we have". "Well I my dad is the director". As he looked around he saw no trace that see ever played deul monsters. "Looking to see if i'm really a deulist well I am so don't worry."SHe patted a pouch on her pants where her deck was.Tara sat down on the couch. "So what do wanna know"? He let out a depressed sigh and started to look around. "How did I get myself into this," Joey said under his breath. Luke had spotted Joey aimlessly walking like a lost puppy dog when he walked out of the trailer. He let out a sigh and walked over to Joey. Joey stopped walking and looked at Luke. "May I help you," Luke asked as he looked at Joey. Joey let out another sigh. He was happy to see someone his age on the site. He could now ask where he was. "Yes," Joey said with a half smile, "my name's Joey Wheeler and I got seaperated from my girlfriend. I would like to know where I am now?" Luke looked at Joey. He was so sure if he should tell him where he was or not. Hayato asked two people standing together and talking, he didn't want to bother them but needed to get information badly. "Its nice to meet both of you, my name is Hayato, I'm a duelist and not much of a digger to be frank" "Alright, another duelist" cheered Joey "I came here 'cause they needed some of us, and I heard there was a new type of way we could play Duel Monsters. "I know he's a good duelist but i'm wondering if i'd be allowed to give him a duel disk" kieth said. "Thinking about what kaiba will say when he finds out" luke asked. Kieth just nodded. "Well just give him one. I don't think kaiba will do much to ya if he finds out" luke said. "Fine but if I get in trouble you owe me fifty bucks" kieth said. He walked over to the trailer joey was staying in. He knocked on the door and waited. A couple of seconds later joey came to the door. "What can I do for you" joey asked. "You can take this and don't break it" kieth said takeing out a duel disk and tossing it to joey. "A duel disk. If these are around here where's kaiba" joey asked as he caught the duel disk. He put his deck in and put the duel disk on his arm. "kaiba's not here. I'm testing these new duel disks for him" kieth said as he started for the director tent. He basically brought his two decks for dueling, toothbrush, extra cloths, and sunglasses...also so money just in case. There was a knock at the door, Joey was asked to step out and talk to someone. A couple of mins. later he returned with a weird type of bracelet on. "So what is that thing anyways?" Hayato asked "Its a Duel Disk invented by Seto Kaiba, we used it in the Battle City Tournament" answerd Joey, although he hated to refer to Kaiba. "So this project is runned by Seto Kaiba....how interesting. Anyways, I'm gonna head up to the directors trailor like that nice lady asked. Laters" Hayato waved to Joey as he left the trailor they were in and walked for about 5 mins. to get to his destination. HE knocked on the door, then someone answered it. As he went through the sand he heard the person getting closer. He slowed down a bit and grabbed a stone then continued at a reguler pace. As he walked he quickly turned around and threw the stone. The stone hit amber in the head. Kieth started backing away. "What was that for kieth" amber asked rubing her head. "Sorry about that. I didn't know you'd be here" kieth said starting to move faster. She was riding shotgun in a jeep to reach the excavation site. She was excited, but anxious. The driver, a friend of her fathers named Anthony Harris, noticed her boredom. "We're almost there. Less than 5 miles now, which'll be about--" "15 minutes?!" Nikkie finished excitedly. After the 15 minutes, he came to a stop. He helped Nikkie with her bag and suggested where to go. "Have fun!" Anthony shouted. "Whatever," she said quietly, though she waved with a smile. She saw trailers and people, but she wondered where she was supposed to go. She turned around and accidentally hit a boy, sending them both to the ground. She dusted herself off and picked up her bag. "Sorry pal. My name's Nikkie. Do you know where I'm supposed to go?" she asked him after helping him off the ground. "It's alright. The name's Kieth. Well, follow me," he said, walking away. Do you know why I was asked to come" nikkie asked. "No one knows yet. I've talked with the director and he doesn't know either" kieth said. "So then we'll have to find out later" nikkie said. "I guess. My guess is that you're probaply a duelist so here" kieth said takeing out a duel disk. "What's this for" nikkie asked takeing the duel disk. "I'm testing them out for kaiba. My instructions were to give them out to duelists" kieth said. "So these are new ones then" nikkie asked. "Ya. I'm sure other people will come......soon." Hayato thought to himself as he kicked some dirt around on the ground. At that moment he decided to review his deck and place his good monsters and magic cards on the top and traps on the bottom with 2nd good monsters. "Well they appeare to be in a good order so far" stated Hayato as he put away his deck. At that time it was about noon and the sun was making things get really hot. Hayato put on his sunglasses 'cause it was too bright. At that time he saw two people that were heading this way, a girl and a guy. "Finally" he said with a sigh as he waved to the two people coming towards the directors trailor. He didn't know them but it was still good to wave to someone out of politeness. "Where did you get those from" hayato asked. "I'm testing them and asking others to help. If you're a duelist i'll you one" kieth said. Hayato smilled and nodded. Kieth took out a duel disk and gaive it to hayato. Hayato put his deck in and put the duel disk on his arm. "So does any one else have some of these" hayato asked. She pulled out her deck and started looking through it. Joey looked at Amber. "What'cha looking for," Joey said as he looked at Amber's deck. Amber didn't seem to notice Joey's question. She pulled out The All-Seeing White Tiger out of her deck. She looked at it and sighed. "My favorite card," Amber said as she smiled at Joey, "I kind of feel sorry for it though." Joey blinked a few times and put his arm around Amber's shoulder. He pulled her closer to him. "Why ya feel sorry for it," Joey asked as he rubbed Amber's arm. Amber let out a sigh and turned a light pink. She looked up at Joey and smiled. "Well," Amber said with a smile, "it's called The All-Seeing White Tiger, but it's blind." Joey nodded his head and looked forward. They were almost to the Director's trailer. "Ladies first," Joey said as he made a hand motion toward the trailer. Amber nodded, put her deck away, grabbed Joey's hand, and drug him up to the trailer. I'll inform her later on the meeting" the director said. Luke just nodded. He looked around to that amber had come. Luke wondered how she would make kieth act knowing that a directlink to kaiba was around. "Well from what I know most of you were called here for some unknown reason. I realy had nothing to do with it" the director said. "If you didn't call us in can you give us an idea why we're here luke asked. "Well from what I know you're all duelists. In the legends of the temple it says that wieldser of the powerfull monsters were respected. Of coarse that has to do with this shadow realm stuff i've heard about. I'd like some proof of it but I don't realy know if it's true or not" the director said. "Just when I think i'm finished with shadow realm stuff i'm dragged right back into it" joey said hanging his head down. "It can't be that bad. I've always wanted to try a shadow game out" kieth said looking at him. "You're not going to like it if you end up in one. I've seen acouple of them and I hated them" joey said. "Well even so if this shadow realm stuff is true the chances of one of you ending up in one is slim. Let's get back to the point here. From scans and reports from ten years ago we've found that there are seven chambers in the temple. The seventh one is the biggest and is in the middle of the temple. We'ld like to go in but the temple wont open" the director said as he pulled out a map. "So you'ld like us to see if we can find a way in" amber said. "If possible. He was looking at the different areas there were in the dig sight. "Wow, thats a lot of places...I hope we get to go underground and find something. If not this would have been a big waste of time" stated Hayato as he looked at the Duel Disk that was given to him by kieth. He then took his deck out of the duel disk and placed it in his card holder attached on the back of his belt. Hayato then decided to get a drink out of the mini-fridge. "Its too quiet in here" he state das he put the radio on to some violine station. The Violine always made Hayato so peaceful and calm, it also puts him to sleep. "I hate the Shadow Realm," Joey said as he looked at his Flame Swordsman, "but it seems like I always get stuck in it somehow. Why me?" Joey laid back on his bed and stared at the celling. She let out a sigh and sat down on her bed. Her cell phone suddenly rang. She picked it up and answered it. "Amber Kaiba," Amber said as she answered her cellphone, "How may I help you." "Amber," Seto voice came through from the other end. A sweatdrop appeared on the side of Amber's face. "Yes brother," Amber said calmly. "How are things going with Keith," Seto asked with his usual rough voice. "Just fine," Amber said getting a little annoyed, "and you don't have to checkup on us every five seconds." "Just do your job," Seto said now getting annoyed himself, "and I'll do mine." Amber yawned. "Bye Seto," Amber said as she hung up on her brother. She let out a sigh and put her cellphone away. "So what's it say" luke asked. "It says to open the temple the gaurdians eye must open when the eye of darkness is open" kieth said. "What does that mean" luke asked. "How should I know" kieth said as he looked up. As he looked around he saw some thing above the door. He jumped and started climbing up the side. As he got closer the object looked like an orb. Once he was next to it kieth pushed on it. It came out a bit then spun around. On it was the mellenium symbole. It rotated and looked at kieth. Kieth fell off from being surprised. "What is that thing" luke asked. "It's probaply the gaurdians eye" kieth said getting up. "Well what ever it is it seems creepy" luke said walking up to the door. The eye just looked down at them then continued to scan the dig. "I'll see if I can find out what the eye of darkness is" kieth said as he left.
