You can reply if you wish of course. This banner was made a while ago. I like the pictures, but didn't you notice that the fonts were barely readable? lol, you made them the exact opposite colors they should be. The bottom left corner font should be white rather than the other font and the other font should be black rather than the bottom left corner font^_^. But besides that, good job! Regarding your latest piece: while the images on the far right and center do complement each other well, the girl on the left looks somewhat out of place. Kieko already mentioned that the text is difficult to read; if you have Photoshop, that could be easily fixed. I personally don't know much about working in PSP or MS Paint. If you added a border (it doesn't need to be anything fancy, just something in a shade of deep purple, blue or black), this banner would look so much better. I also suggest choosing a more visually interesting font--it appears as though you used Arial, which isn't exactly novel. The text, as mentioned by others, really needs work. If you are using MS Paint simply use a readable color, if you are using PSP or PS then adding a stroke/border the the text would do it wonders. Haze Posted January 25, 2004 Share Posted January 25, 2004 I don't think your banners are all that bad. The first would have been great, had you just finished cropping on the left side. I think you could make a few changes to the second one. The cropping is good and all, but the pictures don't flow that well. Also you can't read the quote. Try flipping the colors. Use black for "Let a young man die..." and white for the other. That might work a bit better. Also you may want to use a font that is more "fancy." But it was pretty good. The third one is by far my favorite. I love the "solaraize" and "negative" effects that PSP provides. I also really really like that font. It looks great. As for your fourth....it is an invalid link. Won't go anywhere. Sorry. ^__^ I think all of them could be improved with one simple thing: a border. Are you not putting them in because you don't know how? Or is it something else? Haze is only trying to help here, to see if there was any way that the border problem could be fixed. I don't want to see this from you again.
