Art Naruto - Sakura WP

Well, I started off with a super tiny image again, but I really wnated to use it. Tons of airbrushing later it still looked unbeliveably blurry. So i was forced to add the patchwork even though i REALLY did not want to. Neway, this will be my last wallpaper for a while. Comments/Suggestions/Critiques are always welcome.

[size=1][color=darkblue]Wow, that's really nice. I like it! ^^ The picture is very nice, though I can see some edges were it is a little pixely. But that does really take away from the whole wall paper. I like how you made the top and bottom edges of the background to match her eyes and the background to fit with the rest of her colors. I also really like that font. I really don't have any complaints, it's just wonderful.[/color][/size]

I'm not sure whether I prefer this one over your Hinata one--they're both quite good--and take it you used "smart blur" somewhat, no?

More Naruto -_-... ^_^ no that's cool really it is >_>. But there you go with the green strips and what not to be honest the wall would be alot better without them i'm pretty sure I suggested this before but instead of using those bars, just create yourself a mini symbol and slab your name in the corner of every wallpaper you make it's alot more proffesional and is alot more appealing. I'm also not digging the luminosity/pink color you have going there, not because it's pink but because monotone colored wallpapers don't appeal to me anymore =\. I do like how the eye is still green and all though :rolleyes:, the extraction of the image also looks good. But then there's the background the swirl does nothing for me either too simple, too much blank pink space in teh BG =O. I'm not quite sure I like text placement either but because the stock image is so big I guess it's really hard to put in anywhere else :therock:? Oh well it's not horrible, but I liked a few of the other things you posted before a tad better =).

I dont like it. To be honest I think the only thing this piece has going for it is the quality of the character you used. Other than that its...not that great >>;

The green doesnt go too nicely with the pinkish colour. And the shades you've used makes the image look drab and boring. Im not feeling the font either to be honest.

Hittokiri Zero: I actually agree with you on most points, I was not happy with this wallpaper at all either, But i busted my hump getting the tiny 100x100 image to look like that I was sure as heck gonna use it. Originally I did not want the pink "color" overlay over her, nor did I want the grid, but die to the fact that despite the tim eI put into clearing up the blurryness in the image, it still did not satisfy me, which is how It ended up like this, and I completely agree that some of my other work has been better than this. The only point I disagree with is the Horizontal Green Outlines I made. Most wallpaperists that are not working with an entire image will tell you that these lines help in order to balance your wallpaper, and If you choose it allows you to create space for icons if you chose to do so. An experienced wallpaperists knows how to utilize these lines in order to create a better looking overall presentation in their work. Although I also agree that they do not look good here, but as I said, I had to do my best after applying the pink color overlay.

Kaisuke: Get over yourself...I asked for comments and critiques not for something like you put, If you do not have something intellegent to say, you should just not say anything. I would love to see one of ur wallpapers since your such an expert.

Im sorry if I offended you....well....im not really sorry....but maybe I shouldnt have just given negative points, I just thought something was better than nothing, I was in a rush after all.

Anyway, I still stick to my point when I say the only thing this piece has going for it is the character image. The colours are a bit boring, maybe use some bolder colours to liven it up a little. The font, well, im not expert with fonts, but I know what I like...and I dont like that font, but thats just my opinion.

Honestly, I think the major downfall this piece has is the green and pink colour, maybe a more contrasting colour instead of green...or maybe take the bars out all together.

I as not offended as much as annoyed. You said you did not like it super clearly, but did not give me any suggestions or indication as to exactly why or how to improve. Its not taht you didnt like it that hit my nerve, its the vagueness of it. So I kind of got annoyed ^^.
