Bullet Proof Everything

Myth

I constantly hear 50 cent on the radio, played on mtv, talked
about at school and it annoys me.

He wears a bullet proof vest, puts one on his kid, and drives
around in some kind of bullet proof truck/car/whatever he drives.
He's dumb beyond beleif and everyone at school worships the
ground he walks on.

He supposidly has a 'nice body' Many people Want him dead,
from my veiw, why else does he wear all that bulletproof crap..?
So I'd imagine that many want to see his annoyingly 'nice bod'
riddled with bullets. Good, if they want him dead, just shoot him.
He annoys me.

Not only is he dumb and tacky, but his music sucks and is played
continually.

Anyone else have any thoughts on 50 cent..?

He sucks. His music tends to have the same beat and contantly he talks about things that mean nothing. This bullet proof nonsense is just a way to get noticed. Hell I could wear bullet proff stuff and become more important than he is and actually have something worthwhile to say.

I don?t know, if I had been shot seven times (or however many times it truly is) I sure as heck would be sporting a bullet proof vest. Gimmick or not I am inclined to believe getting shot hurts.

I am not a big fan of ?Fiddy??s music, I always think he sounds like he is mumbling his lyrics. Then again, I don?t frequent dance clubs. My guess is that ?Fiddy??s music has the same appeal that Brittany Spears? and Justin Timberlake?s music does, the beat and bass line encourage dancing.

Personaly i dont like rap at all, I used to listen to it when i was younger but then i started to appreciate music more and focused on rock more. Anyway the 50 cent and eminem thing will go away when the whole rap fad fades away which in my prediction is soon looking at all the new bands signing deals and making videos, serious talent on its way up :).

Ah the famed "Fiddy". Personally i think he sucks. To me right now all the talent has gone out the window. Record companies will sign any monkey with a crew an tatoos all over there body. Chingy is proof of that. There is no more talent, or at least no new talent, I would say in the past 3-4 years. Rap unfourtunatly has gone to the crapper. More an more I find myslef listeninng to the older "outdated", although i dont think music can outdate, rap. Rock an other forms of sonic enduced pleasure now take hold of my car, personal, an home audio systems. As for the whole bulletproof stuff, yeah he got shot. But A vest on the kid. Thats just a publicity stunt right there to try an show how gangsta he thinks he his cuz his kid has to bb bulletproof. Bunch of crap. Tupac an Biggie(R.I.P.) to my recolection never had vests or bullet proof cars. Those were the real rap gangstas. Today there just a bunch of no talent wanna-be's.

You may want to choose your euthamisms with more care since some people could be offended by the term-monkey.

Okay, back to fiddy, or fifty or whatever. I don't listen to rap music unless it's forced on me. Most of my friends don't really listen to rap either, but from what I can -the guy has no musical talent except for singing about getting shot and wearing a flak vest (hey, you say it your way, I say it mine).

I think 50 does it to get attention. Don't worry, by this summer, he'll be knocked out by some rapper name $1.50 who'll sing about tanks and such going 'round his hood.

In closing:
Hell, a few miltary personel could also sing about wearing a bullet proof vest and a bullet proof hat. Then they could add something about NVGs and gas masks. I might actually buy that album.

I don't follow that particular scene or the American scene in general, but I remember seeing him on some show, and he just seemed very uncomfortable with the exposure thing. He doesn't have a live "charm" or anything of the sort that makes it less than painful to watch him.

I don't disrespect him or his lifestyle because of his music though, and I think it's sort of ridiculous when people do.

As for the new fashion, gimmick or not, I'd be contemplating the same if I were shot that many times.

I suppose I "Understand" What your saying, but if
he's been shot 7 times and knows it'll happen again.. It means
people want him dead. And normally, theres a good reason for
people wanting other people dead.

Why wont he just die? He doesnt have a bullet proof helmet. Aim for the head.

Well, I think that wanting anyone dead, for whatever reason. . is wrong! I mean, what is wrong morally with someone if they want someone else to die? I am not saying that if he killed your mother, you wouldn't want to kill that person. . but seriously, there is just something wrong with that train of thought. *shrug*

I honestly don't hate 50 Cent. . I am not as big of a fan of rap now as I can ever remember being in the past. . so, it's very easy for me to say that almost every song I have heard of his gets old halfway through the song. . It's rare if I ever make it through the full length of any of his songs.

As for the whole bullet-proof vest thing. . I don't really see it as a gimmick as much as him just doing what he has to do to protect himself. As for shooting him in the head -- most of your 'thugs' out there, aren't really ex-rangers that have had sniper training. The majority of people that do that come in, take as many shots as they can before fear sets in of being caught, and they take off running after that. While the main objective is to kill the person, most don't have the time to sit around and make sure that their target is dead. Just my thoughts

You just summed up my opinions. It's like there haven't been any talented new rappers since the turn of the century. I know a particular world of hip-hop that's coming to an end this millennium. Although, personally, I have Neo-Soul music in my car stereo. But that's a different story.

50 Cent has no real talent. He just happens to be backed up by one of today's most talented hip-hop rappers (Eminem) and producers (Dr. Dre). He has no other bonuses. He got shot nine times (at least one of them to the face) and survived. Good for him. But that's not something that can keep a rap career going for too long. At least it shouldn't. You can never tell with kids today.

Tupac did were a bulletproof vest all the time. The only time he didn't wear his vest is, ironically, the night he got shot.

Todays rappers tend to make me sick when it comes to the beat that they use except when it comes to LP, whom use more than just a huge booming sound as their beat. Everytime I'd hear a rap, I start to get nausous and my family takes full advantage of this. The next time I hear .50, .25, even .01 on the radio, I'm smashing it.

As for the whole bulletproof thing, I think this guy is a demon or something. I mean, 9 times? Sheesh...the moron should be dead. Either that, or he can't embrace the fact that he's lived long past his moment of glory and is doing everything he can to keep it going. I say death to the .50.
Well, I think that wanting anyone dead, for whatever reason. . is wrong!
So you are saying that if your closest dearest friend was shot and killed by your worst bully, you wouldn't avenge his death? I sure as hell would.

Well, his music definately bites, and that's really all I can say on this subject. Since I can't seem to force myself to listen to bad music even for the sake of an educated reply.

I can also picture this news brief this summer:

Fifty cent was gunned down today by new commer $2.75. $2.75 then proceeded to rob fifty for $5.00. Full story at 11:00.

Yes, that was probably in bad taste, but can you really blame me?

I heard, nay, read, an interview ehere he boasted about prison time. BAH! It was later revealed the most he'd done was three moths (or something equally crap) in juvi. Its as big a gimmick as his ego. I don't really like him and never will, and for him to do what he did at the Grammy's was plain crap. Their is so much good hip-hop and rap music out there, but fools like this ruin the general view for everyone.
