In my school gym class (HPE here) is an optional subject. You do it for a year and a half at the start and then they ask what you would like to do, two electives. HPE is an elective.

A subject I would like to drop is Science. Not only is it boring (more so now that we're studying biology) but there is absolutely no instance in my life where I will need to know the speed a space station has to move at to stay in orbit. I'd put Bus Tech (Business and Technology) in that slot instead because I had to drop it this year to do Senior subjects (IPT Advance computing).

Ahh! Insane jealousy! I hate P.E. I am a terrible klutz and really don't care about who wins a stupid baseball game in P.E. I mean, its just P.E.-who cares? Apparently everyone else in my school. They chew me out for hours if I don't catch the ball. I mean, I CAN'T catch the ball-what in my history makes them think I can? :flaming: Anyway, my rant is over...

Actually, If I could drop a class (besides P.E.) it would be geometry. The class is pretty easy, but the teacher is retarded. It's like she hates to teach. She reads the instructions once, and tells us to get to work. Which doesn't bother me at all. The part that royally pisses me off is that If I ask a question about a problem, she treats me like I'm two. First she says in a nasally, sarcastic voice, "Why don't you get it?" I explain my question in detail, and she says, (in the same voice) "Oh, well, duh, its...*gives answer*...Why didn't you get it?" *laughs* "It's right here in your textbook!" Grr... She drives me nuts! I get straight A's, even in that class, (not trying to brag) and I'm not used to being treated like I'm inferior. Oh well, the class is required to graduate, so I?ve got to take it.

Unfortunately, my school doesn't give the oppertunity to learn latin... I would really like too. In spanish, I'm only at the point where I can have a basic conversation, so I can't drop that yet.

I desperately want to drop Math/Pre Algebra, whichever you want to call it. I wouldn't necessarily drop it, but I would cut some of the unnecessary lessons from the frameworks. What could I possibly use Hypotanuse and the Pythagrion Theorem for? I think we can role out the possibilty that everyone wants to be a carpenter or something of the like.

And English. Oh, English. My teacher should be ten years dead judging by how old she looks, and the class is obviously very boring because of her extremely old-fashioned teaching techniques. It's basically the same lesson we had last year, but this time we get lectures too. Meh, she idolizes me because I knew what nullify meant. O_o

If such a thing were possible, I would definitely drop honors chemistry. I have no idea why I elected to take this class; although I passed the qualification test, I knew then that it's more mathematically oriented than regular chem, and should have realized that it would end up being an incredibly challenging course. Although I love science and did quite well in bio last year, manipulating numbers has never come naturally to me. The worst part is that I actually find chemistry very interesting--but my grades are so terrible that taking it is making me miserable.

I had a solid B for most of last semester. Unfortunately, I got a low C/high D (not that the distinction really matters >_>) on my mid-term exam, and that completely screwed me over.

Ironically, my English teacher is supposed to be incredibly difficult, and I'm pulling an A in his class with a minimum of effort. I guess that my talents lie in language-related fields, no matter how much I may wish to ace chem and geometry.
