Due to the fact that no one liked this picture, I accept that it is, in fact, a shity drawing. But, what exactly is wrong with it? Aside from the feet and the lack of detail in the flowers, I mean. I thought it was at least half-decent myself when I finished it...

Oh well, any input would be greatly appreciated.^^

Thanks,

You asked what was wrong with it so I'm gonna tell you.

First, the way she is standing is quite awkward. She's bowlegged or pidgeon-toed or whatever that's called, lol. I'm aware that you may have drawn it from a picture like that, but it doesn't look quite right here.

Second, her arms are different lengths and are extremely skinny. The hand holding the flowers is too small even for that size of arm. The flowers look like they are floating and she isn't actually holding them, too.

Third, there's something going with her face that appears awkwardly as well to me. Maybe her eyes are too far apart or they aren't big enough.

I do like that mace she has. It is pretty well drawn and I can't point out anything except that it maybe a little flat on the bottom.

I can see an obvious talent here. With a little more time spent and some polishing up, this could be a very good drawing. ^_^

ITs not that bad. Especially if you did this completely out of your head. Do not take critiques to seriously, the great part of art is that even if the majority do not like it at least one person will appreciate it for what it is. Yes, some of the proportions are off, and yes the arms look a lil funny, but there are good parts to. I like the proportion of the body, the hair, and the shading on the mace. ^^ Dont worry about such things and keep drawing.

Dan was only suggesting that you might have used a reference image, which is a perfectly acceptable habit.

Anyway, I haven't seen enough of Naruto to know how closely this adheres to Sakura's character design, but I think you've captured the basic look of her face and hair rather well. I especially like her sandals and outfit, but her left arm (the one holding the bouquet) seems shorter than her right (which, by the way, appears very relaxed, natural, and realistic).

I think your drawing is quite promising. Though fanart may seem difficult at first, it grows much easier with the assistance of practice and repetition.
