Art Moderator and Otaku: animated cartoon from shinji

The feature film tells the story of the S.S Otakuboard, captained by the fearless James, which encounters a terrible Foe in the shape of the infamous AE Board: That stands for Anime Enema.

Be sure to watch the whole feature for the surprise ending.

Wow Shinj, it sure is odd. Methinks it aint getting any replies because its is a Flash in a zip. People are lazy dude. Now don't take offence but here are some ways to improve it.

a)All that blue? It was on every scene!
b)It was funny, but not laugh out loud funny. More like, chuckle funny. DW has got that nailed, maybe you should talk to him about your script abit for the second installment.
c)I WILL be redrawn as a vampire lookin' dude. No way will you have mas an overweight person.

Right that's all I could find wrong really. Work on your humour a bit (and get rid of all the blue) and you've hit the jackpot.

*unbuttons the big time postin' pants* Wooo! Let that big belly out... I was fed a big feast watchin' this set up :) It makes me happy to finally see another animation on OB that's not one of mine. Plus, it was Flash (which I'm determined to get somehow, whether it be downloading it or buying it).

I'll start off by saying that I'm happy I was in it. You made a booboo, though. Syk3 has no chance to defeating me in combat. Sorry. That's just common sense, man. But I'll let it slide because I got women.

I noticed it was a parody of Master and Commander. Bwee. I liked that movie sometimes. I chuckled at the Exboard Forum and how the doctor found those exotic animals (just like in the movie). Indeed. Good times. Ooo... and your artwork is superb as well. I don't take my time with my animations ('cause I hurry to meet deadlines, plus my animation shop doesn't allow artistic ability to flow well).

I've pointed out some good parts. Now I'm gonna say some other junk that may help you or whatnot. Some parts of the animation, the text was a bit small. Too hard to read, savvy? I try to dodge that in animations. If there's too much text to fit in one frame, I usually just either split it up into more than one frame or just edit out some of the text. I never go below size 10 font (unless jokes intend to have such).

Also, it seemed to be rather confusing sometimes in it. Ya know, I didn't understand what was going on since so many people were jumping around saying stuff.

But yeah, good animation starts. I like how you use Flash like the pros. Good stuff. And hey, doesn't Flash have sound and voice features, you old dog XD Why not try that out. That'll be a real treat.

I like you're advice DW, you've helped me out a bit there. I used some of you're jokes as a tribute, i guess you would have figured that out heh. So sorry that MIDGET! was cut from final production for lenght reasons :p

Keeping your advice in mind, next production will be better that a....a... CAKE! It won't be a Moderator and Otaku sequel either, that's just a Shinji excuse for not building the Enema's boat. :laugh: [/size][/color]

But other than that, I enjoyed it wholeheartedly.

I say, though, Shinji, c'mon, make me a bastard in the sequel. I want to get medieval in Part 2.
