I'm hoping to have more than one of these, as improbable as it is. I'm expecting this to be pretty fast paced, also. What I emnt by death in the title, is that this isn't a real bloody gorey rpg, but it is war, so people will die. If you are offended by that, or for some reason can't handle anybody dying in your rpg's, i suggest you not join this one.

Technology has reached an astounding rate. Space travel has surpassed mars, and is now tempting to reach Jupiter. Sadly, as technology grows, so do weapons of war. Thanks to the worldwide treaty made at the turn of the century, weapons such as Nukes and gas bombs have complelty stopped manufaturing. But the human race will always find ways to have war, and are now starting on a weapon known only as project JECHTcom.

Space travel has made it to Jupiter, as the first man saw it's gassy surface with his own eyes. Unknown to the public, Astronauts also found a ruined spacecraft orbiting Jupiter, it's contents unbelivable. Giant mechas, ruined but still recognizable, sat locked away in the ship's hangars. The most disturbing thing about these mechas, is the likeness they share with project JECHTcom. studies were done, and the ship was found to definately be from earth.

The broken ship found at jupiter was revealed to the public, but as another attempt made to get to Jupiter, instead of it's unknown nature. An attempt was made to tow the ship back to earth, but it's journey ended halfway between mars and Jupiter due to the towing ship's engine failure. Astronauts relaunched, this time in an attempt to fix the ship instead of tow it. The repairs succeeded, but the ship had to be made stationary because the origional booster program couldn't be duplicated. They started adding onto it, making a space station for easier access to the rest of the glaxy.

Project JECHTcom was completed, thanks to the prototypes in the broken ship, now known as the AS-revolution. [url=http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/zoneoftheenders/screens.html?page=556]The JECHTcoms looked something like this(note that this JECHTcom is off-limits when signing up.)[/url] The AS-revolution itself has upgraded far beyond any other space station, and access to it has been made much easier thanks to the new solar-powered space ships that came about thanks in part to the AS-revolution's origional design. More and more people are able to tour the ASR every week.

The ASR has been through more and more upgrades, and is now almost two-thirds of the earth's size. Earthlings, who are eager to start anew, or those who wish to, are traveling to ASR and starting a new life. With artificial resources made to similate the earth's, it looks like the ASR may become a second earth.

The ASR's population is now almost three fourths of the earth's population, and has become able to function idependently. Of course, the ASR has long since adopted the earth's project JECHTcom, and both the Earth and ASR are mass producing them at unbelivable rates, upgrading and creating newer models with higher capabilities. All was looking well, until JECHTcoms started attacking cities on earth, JECHTcoms made on the ASR. The Nations of the world quickly reacted and sought out explinations from the high Inquisitor of ASR, Viola Henderson. She accused the earth of forcing them into space, and officially declared war on planet earth!

Logan has a group of friends, and they all dispise how ASR started the war. They sometimes go into ASR HQ to break windows and take small parts, but not often.

Personality: She is a quiet, shy person although she is not afraid to speak up when something affects what she believes in, or if she feels it's important and must be said. She maybe shy but when she's angry she isn't afraid to speak her mind. Dakota is generally afraid of men but not in a very tragic way. This scientist isn't sure what to think of the war, because she had no idea there even [i]was[/i] a war.

Bio: She was born in England and raised in America. Though she didn't really hang out with her schoolmates, she did spend alot of her time studying. She wanted to be something great like her father. Her father, too, was a scientist. He had worked for the old NASA and helped invent many new things. Though her life was somewhat normal(considering), she and her mother had taken a plane to go visit Mr. McClarkson in Washington, they had both gotten into a terrible plane crash(via terrorism). Both of their bodies were found, along with many others.
Being so desperate for his family's life, the scientist had played them and many other patients in suspended animation. They were all basically frozen. He said they were not to be released until there was a time when their wounds could be healed and they could live on.

So many years pass by, into Logan's time. Scientists of his time were looking for new weapons they could use to fight in the war, stumbling upon many of the frozen bodies left untouched for centuries(correct me if I'm wrong). They identified them all as Americans who were all injured. This was how Dakota and her mother was found. Unfortunately, as soon as they opened her mother's case she had died, leaving Dakota to live in this futuristic world alone. A few of the others survived as well, though they were all very ill for the longest time. Dakota herself was ill for a while but they all had their wounds treated immediately.

When Dakota realized what year it was she freaked out. The scientists were whispering outside of her room talking about doing experiments on her--because the human body had evolved so much from those centuries ago and they thought they could learn more about their history if they did research. Eavesdropping in on this, Dakota did the first thing to come to mind--run. So here Dakota is, a lonely lost girl from the past running around the streets of a town in which she doesn't even know the name of.

After running the streets for a while, she ran across Logan but immediately was captured. When the government got ahold of her they had a discussion about her. They told her what was happening and asked her what her purpose was and if anyone in her family was significant. Immediately she brought up her father, the man who created the 'suspended animation' hatches. They all took interest in this and looked up her identity, realizing that she was the daughter of a great scientist in her time. Dakota herself was surprised that her father made it into history books but was disappointed that no one found the capsules after that time.
Reading her up, they realized she had many skills in machinery and repair so they said in exchange of 'doing experiments' that she would work with them in the war to repair and enhance JECHTcoms. They, of course, in return for her duty would train her in many different types of machinery and provide her a foster home to stay in. Which, of course, would be Logan's home.

Staying there, of course, she would have to keep her identity secret. The people of ASR were very paranoid about her because they didn't want the enemy to get ahold of her--with [i]her[/i] skills in machinery they could use her against them.

Bio : Shiro grew up a peaceful life on earth. His father was scientist,one working on the JECTHcom project.He still got to see his dad alot.Fast forward a few years and you reach the last week. A warrent was put out for the capture of Yamiko Uzuki(the dad). Before he was capture, Yamiko told Shiro the location of one of the strogest weapons, Onimorph. As he was caught he shouted there words to his son "[B]Kill theses ungratful earth forces!!!!!!!!!!![/B]". Shiro found the weapon and vowed to destroy all the earth forces himself,but then the revalotion started. He joined it,and prayed for his dad's safety.

"Devistating super weapon", "built to be the ultimate weapon"...I'm not blind, or stupid(don't say it). I'll allow "take a major toll on the pilot" even though it kind of falls into the test subject catagory, which was also omitted in my rules.

As for weaponry, the Wave Devistator, the high powered lasers, it seems a little much. Tone it down, would ya? I want you on this cast, but I don't want a superman.

I'm not really positive about how many people I need, just more than I have now. Anyways, I don't want this to fail in the rec. stage, so I'll start it by friday night. By that time, it should be determined whether or not there are still more who want to join up (though I hope there are...)

Name: Veil Koryuma
Age: 19

Description: 5'8", with short black hair and gray eyes. She has pale skin, and a slender form. She's wears body armour under her clothes, which are usually some loose pants and a long-sleeve shirt. She wears dark, muted colors, and her pants always have many pockets.

Personality: Veil is very outright. Blunt and strong, she'll tell you what she thinks of you right away. She's very practical, and will use what she needs (including people) to get what she needs. However, she never does anything without a purpose in mind. Her determination and will are rock-solid, and once she sets her mind on something, she can't be moved, so yes, she's a touch stubborn.
She's very strategical in her thinking, and likes it when she knows what's happening. Very often she will take the lead if she thinks the commander is lacking. Her personality allows for people to follow her and trust in her decisions. She's very confident as long as she knows what she's doing. When her emotions go out of control, however, she's indecisive and nervous. She hates not having her emotions under check, and makes sure that she's thinking rationally at all times.

Bio: Veil had a completely normal childhood, and was just entering a prestigious university when the war started. She was ambitious, and ready to start her life until the war interrupted it. Her older brother is a soldier for Earth, and his unit is preparing to leave and go to the combat zone. Veil was angry at the war, and she never really liked the government of Earth all that much since there was a lot of corruption and such...as there is in all governments. Then her brother told her that he had enlisted, and she got very angry. Her parents tried to reconcile them, but they ended up saying that she was being a traitor by not supporting her family and brother in this decision.
She left home, cutting off all contact with her family. She discovered a shady, rebel group called Independence, and joined up. They are against both the government of Earth, and also the governing body of ASR, because they believe both are wrong and unjustly started the war. While they're against the production of all the mass weapons, they will use the JECHTcoms in their fight if they must, and seek to sabotage both governments.
Veil went to ASR when the Earth branch of Independence transferred her there, and she still works with another line, spying and sabotaging the efforts there. Currently she is seeking for any new technologies that ASR has built. Perhaps secretly she is there with another motive...to keep her brother from getting killed.

JECHTcom: Veil doesn't have a JECHTcom. She will steal and use them when in need of one, but as a rule of thumb in Independence, she doesn't own one. Despite this, all members of Independence are trained quite thoroughly in piloting various models, and she's quite adept at it.

Age: 25
Description: 6', black hair tied into a ponytail. Wears a dark red t-shirt, black jeans, black fingerless gloves and boots. He also has a tattoo with japanese characters that spell out "Speed of Pain" on his left arm.

Personality: He could care either way about the war because for being a soldier it is his duty to fight. He is quiet most of the time and only really talks when identified. Sometimes he ends up in deep thought about why he became a soldier or why there is a war. When he's piloting his JECHTcom he is constantly playing around with his opponent.

Bio: Vincent had lived a normal life on Earth until he was eighteen and decided to be a soldier. As the years passed he became one of the best JECHTcom pilots of the Earth military. When the war started he was sent to ASR as a spy to gather information, but not within the ranks of the ASR HQ, but as a spy in an independant rebel group call Independance. Once the ASR becomes completely weakened for the Earth forces to crush them, he is to destroy the rebel group. But he is slowly becoming attached to the group, sometimes forgeting his true mission as a soldier of Earth.

The strong survive and the weak shall be stepped upon and vanquished. He loves the war. He wants to truly test himself and his abilities. The thrill of fighting always had a hold around him.He is a loner and doesnt want friends. He only has respect for those who are as strong as him or stronger.
Bio Born on earth. He grew up being a trained martial artist. His father was his instructor since he was 2. Michael loved the fighting aspect of his training more than discipline. Duece mastered his fighting techniques at 14. He then began studying the latest technolgies and enhancing his knowledge of Jechtcom.Somehow as he grew older he grew cold and bitter towards the world. His only help was his dad. The one person who could control him. When the war started his father went to fight for the earth squad. Deuce wanted to follow his father but he felt that the eath waged war on grounds that were shaky. Deuce wanted to fight however so he stole a JECTHcom fought in the shadows. He is truly an ally of earth He lends them a hand to fulfill his carnivorous desires of fighting and so he can be on his dad's side. His father was killed by ASR forces so he stays on earth's side and becomes void of feelings. He now has the mindset of an assassin and will kill whoever comes in his way

Ok, everything lookd great. And thank you for editing that, Vilechangemon. I know I said I'd start this yesterday, but I was having problems on the internet. Anyways, I'll start this soon, and I'll PM everyone about it.

PS The (sic) Shape and Crazy Ace, great signups and thanks for siding with the ASR, it was getting lopsided. And of course, anybody can change almost anything at anytime in the RPG, like upgrades, weaponry, sides, models, ect. ect. As long as they keep it in limits.
