Who here enjoys the hobby scrapbooking? I find it very enjoyable. It is very calming and a lot of fun to do. I've only gotten started like a couple nights ago. It is really great. So, who here does this hobby and how long have you been doing it? Also, do you enjoy it?

In 7th grade my whole team did a scrapbooking project.Everytime we went on a fieldtrip pictures would be taken. There were also pictures of us disecting worms.

Everyone did their own and at the end of the school year we go to take ours home.I enjoyed it alot. And not just for the fact we would do it during science for full periods at a time.Science is one of my favorite subjcts.

I still have mine.Every now and then I'll pull it off my bookshelf at get all nastolgic.

I loooove scrapbooking. Unfortunately I never have time anymore, plus all my pictures are now digital, but I still try.

I made scrapbooks relatively faithfully from eighth grade to freshman year of college, so I have a pretty good record of about sixth grade to ... freshman year of college. (With several baby pictures thrown in for good measure.) I love looking at them afterwards, because that's your life. Oh, and when I was in Hong Kong over Christmas I bought a really nice new scrapbook. They have much cooler designs over there than here ... I wanted to buy, like, three, but I knew I had to resist since I probably won't even fill up that one for a couple years.

My mom and my sister scrapbook frequently... and spend a lot of time and money on it. One might call them, "Serious" scrapbookers.

They go to overnight scrap booking parties, have a special bag(huge, and has wheels, which is so cool!) for holding their stuff.

We have about 6 cubbords full of scrapbooking stuff! Seriously!
Boxes upon boxes... they sometimes do it just because they're bored... then will go 12 hours... without eating!

I swear it's a cult or something...

From the ages of 7-10, I was enjoying scrapbooking. I had put my childhood pictures, pictures at the age of ten, field trips, and I even put my 5th grade graduation award in there. My scrapbook had stickers too, so I put them in there.

I stopped because I just got bored with it, and it is on my bookshelf right now. When I'm older, it'll probably be in a dumpster or something because I doubt I would save it.
So I used to have a hobby of scrapbooking, but now I am completely bored with it, and use my time 24/7 with technology.

My girlfriend and her friends all do it, for whatever reason. They sometimes all get together and work on them... like a party, I guess. The only thing I don't like about them is that if they stick in a picture of me, it usually is a really bad picture. Stupid things.

My mother actually works in a store entirely devoted to scrapbooking - that says enough in itself. There's a small spare room in our house that has been taken over by all her stuff. ^_^;; She's incredibly creative though, so it's been rubbing off on me for years.

Most of the stuff I do isn't exactly like hers, though. I save things and then stick them in my stetchbook, and write whatever I'm thinking about them. They're sort of like half scrapbooks, half journals. And I have a few of them. >.>;; One is from my trip overseas last summer (which was actually graded.. weird.), one has a whole bunch of pictures of houses and gardens from a magazine I like to call Better Homes And Gardens, and then one has been just random things I've picked up since starting at FSU last semester. None of them are actually done, although I think the house-y one is close. It's fun to do, though. Especially since I save everything.
